BBC MAN Of THE YEAR LASHES OUT!

Binyam Mohamed

Binyan Mohamed – that well know “British resident” – must be so thankful for the BBC. Today Al Beeb leads the news cycle with Mr Mohamed’s scurrilous allegations that he would not have faced torture or extraordinary rendition but for British involvement in his case.Modestly, Binyam would also like to see former PM Blair and former US President George Bush put on trial for their crimes. You can understand why he so engages BBC sympathy, can’t you? Anyone surprised that our favourite Ethiopian illegal immigrant chose the BBC to give his first major interview? I wonder how much he was paid for it? Isn’t it disgraceful to see Jihadists getting all this oxygen of publicity care of our license taxes?

    martin/pounce – spot on.

tarek dergoul – another innocent lost in afganistan circa 2001 – is suing MI5/MI6 for failing to send in the SAS to rescue him from Gitmo.

“Binyam” is treading down the same path. Expect all our taxes to go up a bit more next year to pay for phil shiner’s fees and to cover the costs of a very posh and expensive human rights barrister.

The BBC has gone totally overboard about the Ethiopian terrorist.

Just look how many stories they have run at their website – on top of endless radio and TV coverage. Link after link after link.

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7940958.stm

And look at this bit to see how believable the Ethiopian creep’s testimony is – track down to the heading “Trip to Afghanistan”

Mr M…. said he originally travelled to Afghanistan in 2001 after converting to Islam. “I decided to take a journey to Afghanistan as any 21,22-year-old would do. Just go and see a part of the world and learn about what’s happening over there.”

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7941745.stm

Now that must strike any reasonable person as a total lie. It is only terrorist-enablers like the BBC – and Haynes – who would accept such patent nonsense.

The bBC, its mission to promote the BM cause and the rest of the story.
It appears that the bBC is on a mission. That of painting those who fight for the cause of Allah as just and that of those who stand up to them as unjust. Here is how the bBC goes about installing sainthood on those Friday holyday warriors.
    Taken from HY;
In his first broadcast interview Binyam Mohamed who spent six years in Guantanamo
    Six years?
    Here is how the bBC reports Saint BM on his own holy profile page;
“In total, Binyam Mohamed spent just under seven years in custody – four of those were at the US’s Guantanamo Bay camp in Cuba.”
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7906381.stm

    Taken from his bBC profile;
Binyam Mohamed al Habashi was born in Ethiopia on 24 July 1978. In 1994 he arrived in the UK and sought asylum on the basis of his family’s opposition to the Ethiopian government.
And the elephant in the room is his family arrived in the UK not from Ethiopia but rather the US where they had spent the last two years. His father who claimed asylum. Went back to Ethopia when his claim failed.
The bBC, its mission to promote the BM cause and the rest of the story.

“Male or female?” the assistant asks
“Female of course. Do I look like I work for the BBC?”
    “Christian or Muslim?”
“Christian I suppose. Whats the difference?”
Well, that one you have to blow up yourself”

    ……
Sort of red nose day Binyam joke.

We can be reasonably sure that any political prisoners from any other prison on the island of Cuba would not get such publicity from the BBC if he ever pitched up here in the UK.

Guantanamo Bay’s prison has fascinated the BBC in a way that Castro’s prisons never did. What a surprise.

Al Beeb have really pissed on their chips with this story! Either that or it is, as other comments have said, merely part of a wider (and hidden) agenda.

I mean, this story and the plethora of similar ones in recent weeks (years?) propagate a feeling of intense rage in me, and I would assume other, less rational beings (:-)), may be tempted to take this rage to higher levels.

Who gains from a ‘Summer of Rage’ and a violent breakdown in society requiring a certain, New Labour designed, Act of Parliament to be brought to bear? Erm – is it the jock cyclops???

These are interesting times we are living in.

I couldn’t take more than 3 minutes of the Binyam Show, er, PM at 5 pm today, before I had to turn it off. The BBC are evidently being played for willing patsies. Only the fleetingest of references made to his ‘documents’ and ‘what was he doing in Afghanistan’ with the comment from Frank ‘Don’t shoot me, I’m a Muslim’ Gardiner that ‘Mr’ Mohammed’s ‘legal representative interrupted such questions.
The contempt the BBC has for the British people (not to mention British soldiers) sickens me.

    Bobzilla:
“Ironic how it’s called the British broadcasting corporation, when there’s nothing British about it any more.”

I think it is more to the point that The BBC really does represent their view of a utopian Britain; because there is very little of the “Britain” that I recognise left.

Britain is guilty in the eyes of the BBC because an Ethiopian ileagal immigrant says so and he has a greater claim to be believed because he is oppressed. President Lincoln said something along the lines of

‘A person is not automatically virtuous because they are poor or oppressed’.

Top this off with the Luton ‘protest’ This was pretty much the last straw for me. A typically vile example of 21st century Britain. The only arrests were of the indigenous population. What I want to know is why there weren’t mass protests, riots, flag burnings, decapitations, looting etc across the globe given the depth of offense given?

Morocco is very much in the US camp, they support the monarchy there. A fairly sensible autocrat, it appears. “Enlightened monarch”

But the streets of cities like Fes are seething with young, unemployed, ignorant and aggressive potential jihadists. That is – the ones that have not been able to get across to bum off the French. The population – as across the whole Muslim world – is increasing very fast, with nothing much produced, huge urban populations full of a bitter and twisted underclass wide open to radical Koran preachings.

Think Bradford, Luton, Tower Hamlets – but worse.

If he seeks “true Islam” then what is he doing here? Cashing in as usual…

The main thing is, Spinyam was in the jurisdiction of the Americans, the only reason that he is trying it on here is Britain is a soft touch and his lawyer knows we will ante up the money.

    Jimbob, you are right.

I will never vote Labour again – and I did in the last General Election. However, I would NEVER vote BNP. I may, however, vote UKIP (as a protest) if they put a candidate up in my constituency.

As far as I can see a vote for LAB/LIB/CON is a vote for more of the same. They are all a bunch of shysters.

    gigits – i disagree.

there comes a point when you want to send a big “f**k you” towards the Lib/Lab/Con elite.

BNP is getting my vote in the Euro Elections on June 4th.

totally disagree with most of their policies, but they have traction and impact.

wont be as effective if the headlines next day say – “UK Libertarian Party wins tons of EU seats” or “Libertas wins loads of seats”

of course it wont. but if the BNP win , then it will make the political class wake up big time.

    both here, and in brussels.

rather than “none of the above” – i would vote BNP.

at least for the euro elections.

    personally – i’m a libertarian.

If you feel that way, then fair play.

However, I cannot vote for a party which shares the values of the people that my grandfathers had to fight in world war two (one died).

I believe that the BNP has a place in the following struggle and I hope they do well in order to send a message. I will not vote for them.
