THE SECOND WAVE…OF HYSTERIA

Why is the BBC still running as it’s lead story the “It’s the end of the world” hysteria because another handful of people have in the UK being diagnosed with swine flu? Ban ki-Moon and the rest of the UN bureaucracy must love this faux war – it’s perfect for them, and the BBC are determined to keep this as the single biggest news story in the UK today.

The media always love a good scare story – that’s what sells newspapers. But the BBC does not have to compete for scary headlines. They are paid regardless. So why do they do it? Probably for the reason they put the same dross on TV as you can find on any third rate digital channel. They are trying to be “popular”

I am just waiting for the BBC to link this “pandemic” to “climate change”

See Ron Paul’s video on EU Referendum for some sensible comments, the like of which we will not see on the BBC.

    MartinW,

Yes – I posted it on my site yesterday. I don’t agree with Paul on many things but his voice of reason on this subject was indeed refreshing.

I don’t agree with Paul on many thingsDV — well yes.

What’s not too like about an anti-statist/collectivist small government message with some added individual freedom/libertarian leanings.

Unfortunately he has fallen prey to his Jew hating lunatic fringe L. RON PAULARD Conspirotology cult currently in low earth orbit in the mothership.

Lead news item on CBBC news this morning ( my kid was watching it) was that some “poll” had resulted in the majority of kids wanting newsagents to hide their cigarette displays. All supportive of the new government measures.

And there’s me thinking that East Germany was gone when the Berlin wall fell.

Seriously though, the swine flu hysteria is really annoying me. Who gives a flying f*** about some bug going around. It most certainly is a distraction.

When you travel as much as I do, then I think all precaution must be taken to ensure that this virus is kept to a minimum. I for one do NOT want to get pig flu, the tighter the controls kept on it the better.

Don’t worry. I caught swine flu trying to break into my car last night so I stoved its head in with a rock. You can all sleep soundly and dream of chubby, fat-titted sluts again.
