TUTU WORSHIP

Truly awful programme on BBC1 this morning where investigative journalist Fern Britton visits Desmond Tutu. It is just plain hero worship with Fern declaring that he is one of the great men who changed the history of the last century. The BBC admires Jew-hating Tutu and this sickening programme allows just one point of view – Tutu worship.

Can you imagine how the BBC will handle the day when Mandela finally pops his clogs – I bet we will have solemn music and dark ties. I am no supporter of the wicked Apartheid system but those like Mandela and Tutu should not be portrayed as latter day saints simply because the political left and their media courtiers declare this to be the case.

Listening to the 0800hrs news Radio 4. They managed to get Browns quote “Policies dreamed up on the playing fields of Eton” three times in one 10 minute spot. Biased?? surely not.

Even if that were true, better it than policies dreamed up in the Kremlin circa 1960s.

It is possible to be a great man who changed the history of the last century and still be a prick. Former President Carter would come under this category – his Habitat for Humanity International and the Carter Center although more controversially has in many ways an excellent record of achievement.

Pity it is not possible for the BBC to give a neutral, unbiased investigation of Desmond Tutu.

Perhaps you might give some specific examples of this ‘hero worship’ claim David?

I wonder if Fern Britton asked Mr Tutu about the Church Street bombings? Or why Mr Mandela was locked up in the first place? Or the placing of burning tyres around peoples necks? No she bloody well didn’t.

The entire programme – one hour of it. Next?

    Fenland Sniper

Quite. To do so would mean putting in balance, not the name of the game.

I was thinking more of, y know, actual evidence. Like quotes, clips etc. Not merely “I watched it, it was biased, so there”. I heard once that proof is kinda important when it comes to claims….

Do try and pay attention. If you seek to “correct” errors here, please have the courtesy to at least watch the programme I refer to. I also suggest you reflect on the maxim it is often better to keep your mouth shut and allow people to think you stupid than open it and leave them in no doubt. Watch Fern’s love in and get back to me.

PS. Of course I also know that you’re not Ian, or you? Just another returning troll…..

Here’s a radical thought Mr Vance; why not post some evidence to back up your claims that the programme was ‘hero worship’? I have yet to see evidence of you doing this yet. Do you expect people to take you seriously when you won’t provide proof of your claims?

I never said it wasn’t biased – I haven’t seen it. Some of David, have lives away from the computer. YOU made the claim it was baised. YOU refuse to back that claim up. Therefore the burden is on you my friend.
