Hello all, good to be back (not that any of you noticed I was gone, you feckers).
Do you recall that time of political limbo following the general election when the make-up of the next government was still undecided? We all had opinions…
I mention this only because “maxiec” happens to be a producer on Radio 5 Live’s Breakfast show.
God forbid should anybody suggest that the BBC isn’t impartial.
Welcome back, DB. Glad to the the BBC’s use of your license fee payments on courses teaching Beeboids how to use Twitter was money well spent.

Oh, and she’s married to a correspondent for The Politics Show. You couldn’t make it up. Yeah, I’m sure it’s a two-party household. Not.

Beeboid Max Cotton just had to be an organic farmer too.
He’s not above a bit of biased reporting either (if I may quote from an ex-blog):

Roland,
I am shocked that you should know such a thing. What a public admission !!!!

Should the BBC or any other media forbid employees (what category?) expressing opinions (which ones?) publicly (in what media and what circumstances?)?
What should be the penalty? What should BBC do if rules are broken?
ALL in News and Current Affairs would be a good start. Penalty ? – first incident, suspension from duty pending internal enquiry. Penalty for clear bias – no bonuses.
Second offence ditto .
Third offence – suspension and reference to an arbitrating body, penalty – dismissal.
Pour encourager les autres.

With respect, a fairy naive view ! It is only when they express themselves publicly, that the scales fall from the eyes of the less politically aware and they realise what a rancid leftist cuckoo we have in the supposedly impartial nest of ‘public service broadcasting’.
As pointed out elsewhere on the thread, decades of careful self-selection from within their own political mindset, has made them incredibly skillful at manipulating their programming output to reflect their view as the normal default position.

Opinions are fine (though the number of them all having the same ones, and being only hired on that basis, might be a cause for concern).
But what is so telling is that they always need to play on the tribal group that we all pay for to get any attention:
Name MaxiecLocation UKWeb http://www.sixbro…Bio BBC Producer, Mum, Organic businesswoman, bloody tired.Me…bloody fed up funding them to espouse their views under the BBC banner.

I think we are all pissing against the wind. The BBC is clearly an unashamedly socio-marxist organisation, and thrives on that fact, particularly as they appear to be immune from any form of interference from government (or anyone else for that matter).
I’ve no doubt that they read these posts rubbing their hands (or other peoples bottoms) with glee, whilst squealing with delight at our obvious distaste and discomfiture.
So they will continue their brazen effrontery in our faces, despite what may be written here (or elsewhere), and carry on regardless.
Short of isolating Shepherds Bush, corralling them and inflicting summary justice, there would appear to be little we can do about it.
But it is refreshing to have somewhere like this to give vent…

Natsman,
Couldn’t agree more. If the new government is not going to sort the BBC out, and it is not, there is no hope.
The BBC is a law unto itself and totally out of control.
B-BBC is all that keeps me sane !

nats — actually beeboids HATE this site. Especially as we mock them and make fun of them.
Little Hitlers can’t stand people laughing at them. Drives them even more bonkers.

Yep, Jack, humour is a great weapon.

yes grant — talking about humorless beeboid drones — we haven’t heard anything from the that theatre luvvie door Matt for a while.
The one we laugh at mercilessly. He is such easy mock meat thought.

Where is the 25% cut at the BBC that is being visited upon all other government departments?
Why are they immune when defence and education, transport and the environment are not?
Is Bruce Forsyth’s pay more important than children’s education?
Is Eastenders a bigger priority to the Tories than defence?

I think you’ll find that the BBC’s contribution to the national austerity programme was to axe Radio6 and the Asian Network. Both these measures were targeted, in true Sir Humphrey fashion, so save very little but to provoke a hysterical reaction from their existing clients. Sure enough, the BBC Trust has now decided that R6 should be spared.
“We’re all in this together….” I don’t think so!

But surely, at the time she tweeted, she already knew that Lab + LD between them could only form a minority government, without an electoral mandate?
How could she or anyone at the BBC square this with the BBC’s corporate outrage when GWB beat Al Gore despite getting a lower share of the popular vote?

Because Al Gore is a lefty.

Hello D.B.
I noticed. Glad you’re back. (But you didn’t announce your departure, did you?)
This article has this type well ‘sussed’. Typical of so many people I know. Champagne Socialistss.
“New research suggests that the traditional adage remains as true as ever – although many middle-aged “champagne socialists” fail to notice their views shifting.
People who dabbled with left-wing politics as students still define themselves by their old radical views, even though the responsibility of holding down a job raising a family has actually led them to adopt a more conservative outlook, academics found.
The study suggests that some people vote for left-of-centre parties “by mistake”, in ignorance of their actual political interests and sympathies.”

Organic farming and working for the BBC are both essentially the same: selling overpriced trash to rubes too ignorant to know any different.
‘No to Cameron.’ How’d that work out for you, moron? It must take an awful lot of effort to be to out of touch with the populace. Imagine the things you could achieve if you quit your pointless non-job at the BBCand did something worthwhile.

This one reminds me of the love / hate relationship I have with this website.
Love the site, check it every day, really appreciate the posts and enjoy the comments.
Absolutely hate finding out about fecking tw*ts like Maxie and her cock end of a husband. It makes my blood boil that these two “look at me” c*ntsores are so balls deep into the BBC that it’s impossible to extract them, nor prevent them from spinning their vomit inducing sh!te. And I am forced to pay for their utter drivel!!!!!!
I’m going outside for some deep breaths.

Wish I had enough spare time to be an “organic farmer”. But , then , I don’t “work” for the BBC.

Organic farmer, perhaps that’s what they do with all the shit spouted by the BBC? I wonder where it all went, now I know!!!

The BBC is safe under Cameron. Makes you wonder why the crypto-Marxists have such a downer on our new glorious joint-leader.
Meet the new Boss PM. Same as the old boss PM
Britain Bans Michael Savage (Again), Welcomes Che’s Daughter
General Franco is still dead and after a year of legal wrangling popular radio-host Michael Savage is still banned (in Britain.) The new Conservative British government of Prime Minister David Cameron is sticking by former Labor Home Secretary Jacqboot Smith’s decision from May of last year. “
One month after insulting and banning Michael Savage last summer, Britain opened her arms to Che Guevara’s daughter, Aleida.
The occasion was a celebration in London titled Cuba50, billed as “the biggest European celebration in the 50th anniversary year of the Cuban Revolution.
“In London’s expansive Barbican Centre, Britain threw the continent’s biggest party commemorating fifty years of Castro’s Stalinist regime, which jailed political prisoners at a higher rate than Stalin’s, murdered political prisoners at a higher rate than pre-war Hitler’s, and came closest of anyone to plunging the world into nuclear war.
Che’s daughter was there to promote, in her own words: “my father’s ideals, his concerns, and his ambitions. I believe that my father is a banner to the world. If we could only follow his example, the world would be a much more beautiful place.”
Fine. Let’s have a look at Aleida’s father’s “ambitions,” keeping in mind that what got Michael Savage banned was his purported “fostering of extremist views” and his “hate speech.”
“Hatred as the central element of our struggle!” raved Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara in his 1966 Message to the Tricontinental Conference in Havana. “Hatred that is intransigent…hatred so violent that it propels a human being beyond his natural limitations, making him violent and cold- blooded killing machine…
We reject any peaceful approach. Violence is inevitable. To establish Socialism rivers of blood must flow… The imperialist enemy must feel like a hunted animal wherever he moves. Thus we’ll destroy him! These hyenas (Americans) are fit only for extermination. We must keep our hatred alive and fan it to paroxysm! The victory of Socialism is well worth millions of atomic victims!”
The British government gives no indication that in the process of “promoting her fathers’ ideals” Aleida Guevara presented the slightest offense to Britain’s “standards and values.”

So Cameron wants to improve UK broadband acess, BT says it will cost 2 billion and they don’t want ot pay.
Hmm, how about cutting the TV tax and use the money to invest in something far more useful than providing the money for Cocaine users at the BBC?
