Socialist Mr. John Pilger is BBC-NUJ’s kind of journalist; and the fact that he has a programme on ITV condemning the practice of embedded journalism didn’t stop ‘Today’ extending his propaganda, just before 9 am.
( I don’t know if his condemnation extends to socialist journalists being embedded with jihadists.)

Will ‘Today’ invite on a non-socialist, anti-Islamic jihad journalist to condemn the INBBC use of the words ‘militants’ and ‘insurgents’ in INBBC political propaganda about the Islamic nature of the enemy the West faces? Only kidding.

. . and just before Pilger started chewing the studio carpet he flung the accusation that the BBC is controlled by the Israelis.  Pilger, of course, suits the BBC to a tee.  The BBC would say – does say – look we must be getting it right, we’re criticised from the left and the right.  As you write, when are we going to get five minutes from, say, Christopher Booker on Today discussing BBC bias?

Could we by any chance pack Pilger off to Australia along with Assange and get rid of two of them in a job lot? I don’t see why the Australians shouldn’t have to put up with them.

When do we want it? Now… well, actually, if you could wait until the Inbetweeners was over that would be a big help’

“No charges will be brought following a probe into phone hacking at the News of the World, prosecutors have confirmed.”
One cannot read the BBC’s report without being led to think that someone has put the frighteners on.
Yesterday’s News bulletin coverage of this ” Giving evidence in the perjury trial of former MSP Tommy Sheridan, Mr Coulson admitted his reporters did not “get it right” in Goodman’s case.”
We were told only about Coulson (surely the villain of the story) & the NOW, nothing about Sheridan (whatever his politcs may be) or the reason for his trial.
