Progressives Call For The Lynching Of Clarence Thomas

“Send him back to the fields!”

“String him up!”

“Torture”

And the usual assortment of hate speech from the Left. The Tea Party is a racist movement, funded by the Koch brothers and Rupert Murdoch, etc.

The BBC correspondents who cover the US share ideological beliefs with these people. The remarks about the Tea Party movement and Fox News are the exact same things the BBC reports to you as fact. However, the BBC has never done a report about how much vicious hate speech comes from the Left. The most they’ve ever done is fret over how political rhetoric in the US has become too stringent (after rushing to judgment and blaming innocent people on the Right for inciting murder), as if this is a gesture towards acknowledging that the problem lies on both sides.

The BBC will not inform you that their fellow travelers are calling for the lynching of a black Supreme Court Justice.

Yes, Andrew Breitbart sent the cameraman to do this (there’s a brief shot of him trying to instigate in the background), but that doesn’t excuse what these people say. This is the kind of ideology the BBC protects. Next time you hear a BBC employee discuss the violent rhetoric of the Tea Party movement or the Right in general, remember that they censor information like this from their reporting.

I wanted to reply but am simply stunned.  I’ve written my response several times over and deleted it several times over because I’m absolutely at a loss for a comment on this.

But I am reminded of this:

Don’t be surprised, at one time, the Ku Klux Klan were the Democratic Party at prayer.  The black Southern middle class, such as Martin Luther King and Condi Rice’s parents, were Republican supporters at heart.

This is quite disgusting.  Can you imagine if this had been a Tea Party rally?  The BBC and to be honest all the UK MSM would be all over this.  However, where are the fearless BBC journalists reporting this? I am appalled.

Since LBJ and the granting of civil rights, the Democrats believe that the black population of the United States are beholden to them politically.   American liberals truly think that they “own” this group.

The all-Republicans-are-racist theme continues tonight, at 9.00pm, on BBC Four, with a documentary about Abe Lincoln.  Its premise will be that he was a bigot.

I still can’t believe what I saw.  They weren’t just in disagreement with him, their venom was absolutely packed out with slavery references.  It was like watching a remake of Mississippi Burning

And who was the giggling fool egging them on?

I reckon he was from the right, trying to lull them into letting out their innermost thoughts.  It worked!  It shows what these bigots really think.

Yes, the guy behind the camera was clearly trying to get them to say something stupid.  I mean, “Yeah, but what do we do after impeaching him?” is a total giveaway. But these people are so caught up in their emotions that they simply don’t realize it.  Even when a couple of them are sharp enough to get that they shouldn’t be saying things like that on camera, they still confess violent fantasies.

Andrew Breitbart sent the camerman there.  But like I said in my post, that doesn’t change what these people said.

On the left the only thing that can justify the death penalty is being a conservative.  Great post DP.

    Well put David.

Predominantly white“, “angry people who use “incendiary language” against their political opponents. The BBC already have the vocabulary at hand to describe these “fury“-filled left-wingers. James Naughtie‘s “there are no doubt strains of racism there” might come in handy too.

Hate is a leftists stock intrade, violence is their meat and drink. They try to hide it of course but its ever there bubbling and seething under the surface from Pol Pot to chairman Mao to Stalin to Castro to Hitler.

Hatred and violence we cannot imagine lurks in their hearts, well we had better wake upto it soon beause its about to take us on another journey into the dark heart of evil.

These people are not the happy clappy I wanna teach the world to sing in perfect harmony he aint heavy he’s my brother peaceniks they make themselves out to be.

Under the surface they are plain evil and when they get their shot at power it always ends the same way from the gulags to the killing fields.

This post and responses rightly call out the rampant double standards and selectivity of editorial coverage, that the BBC laughingly tries to claim is genetically impartial.

In the case, two wrongs do not make a right, but even coverage that extremes exist everywhere would make for less incendiary rabble-rousing by in theory responsible media.

However, it is as well to acknowledge that any grouping is comprised of individuals, and there is value in caution conflating high-profile excesses by the odd (often in many, ratings-driving ways) person with the views of the whole.

I know some entirely reasonable Democrats, and have been privileged to work with and be supported by some top folk from the BBC (albeit at sharp end grades).

That said, when enough under a banner do seem to subscribe to a view, and especially when it becomes near unchallenged corporate policy, there has to be a concern.

This reminds me of UAF (Unite Against Fascism) who are, according to most media outlets, untouchable because of the fine work they do protecting free speech and rights etc et bloody cetera.

In the meantime they use violence to supress anybody who doesn’t agree with them. I long abandoned the terms “left” and “right” because they seem to share so many ideas these days you can’t tell them apart. Left fascism, Right racism. It all amounts to the same thing.

I have no issue punishing those who are guilty of crimes against humanity. But don’t claim to be better than them just because your target is different.

I think you will see that racism is of the left.  The claim that racism and/or fascism are of the right is an oft-repeated left-wing smear.  Repeated so often that many believe it: Mussolini was a communist, the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazis) was by the very name a socialist party.

They all had the same basic beliefs – anti-capitalist and anti-aristocracy.  The difference is that Hitler and Mussloini tolerated the capitalists and aristocrats because he saw what a mess Lenin and Stalin had made in Russia by getting rid of the people who had experience in making prosperity and running the country.  And they all hated Jews.

Although it is difficult to deny that the left are racist, I think there is more to it than that; they are not just racists, they are also sexists, snobs and holders of most other prejudices, all at the same time.  In short they are misanthropes.

The left despise (the rest of) humanity and believe the hoi polloi are so stupid and gullible they must be lead by people stronger and wiser.  Guess who they see in that role?  That is also why they inevitably move on from leading us to their chosen paradise, to killing us when we fail to appreciate everything they do for us.

Seen Andrew North’s shit-stirring article about neo-cons, Murdoch, Glenn Beck blah blah blah? The final gratuitous sentence about Palin is pointless and pathetic – yet another example of a BBC PDS sufferer jerking off for the pleasure of his colleagues.

You won’t find a similar report from the BBC about the US left being far from united over Obama’s response.

And where’s the BBC’s coverage of the White House press pool’s anger over its treatment by the Obama administration??

    • David Preiser (USA) says:

They never said a single word about press outrage over the White House colluding with BP and the Coast Guard to block media access to key areas of the clean-up effort, so why would the BBC start telling tales out of school now?

They’re in so close to the White House these days that they probably aren’t even aware there’s a problem.
