TRUSTING THE BBC?

It’s all about who YOU choose to believe – take it on trust, the BBC Trust.

First – consider the comments of Recep Erdogan, PrimeMinister of Turkey who stated that democracy was like a bus: “You ride it until youarrive at your destination, then you step off.”  What other gems has he delighted us with? Islam means Jihad” “The minarets are our bayonets, the domes [of the mosques] our helmets, themosques our barracks.” “There is no moderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that’s that”

Now, here is Chris Patten, the incoming Chairman of the BBC Trust from a few days ago;

“So what is the pointof Europe today? For me the answer is to be found in Turkey. Europe with Turkey as a memberwould naturally be a more dynamic economy. Turkey is a regional energy hub. Ithas clout and respect in its own region with formidable fighting forces. Aboveall, Turkey is now a role model for other Islamic societies striving toaccommodate democracy, civil liberties, the rule of law, an open economy, pluralism and religion. As an EU member, Turkey would add a new dimension of massive historicimportance. Europeans would show that they could embrace an Islamic democracyand build a strong bridge between Europe and Western Asia.”

Remember please  – Impartiality is in their genes.

Mr Patten is lacking in his understanding of history. If the UK education system did its job properly, then every child in our country would know where we came from and how we have arrived at where we are. And in doing, they would know that islam is something to be fought and socialsim is something that caused untold misery for over 100 years. And an understanding of the Roman Empire might just ensure that we don’t make some of the same mistakes; that Mr Patten would have us launch into with great enthusiasm. The man’s an ignoramus.

Mr Patten could be a very very dangerous figure as Chairman of the BBC Trust. He always seems so moderate and so reasonable and he’s a Conservative so how can the BBC be anti-Tory? in reality he’s a CINO, pro-EU and pro-Palestinian so expect more of the same from the Beeb.

Patten is NOT a Tory, he is pure elitist establishment and rather like Erdogan he views the Tory party as a vehicle to progress his ‘career’ in politics.
Post democratic politics, no left or right just the elite ruling class and the rest of us. The BBC must be jumping with delight, they now have one of their own kind, a perfect beeboid with solid deeboid prejudice and ignorance and arrogance.
He is one of them to his very core, he will accelerate the BBC perverted bias to never before seen levels.

The real problem is, his views are much the same as Cameron’s.

I’m sure London needs far more of this type of ‘enrichment’:

Islam Not BBC (INBBC)-NUJ-Patten  campaign heavily for Turkey’s 80 million Muslims to get entry to European Union, and thereby to drastically speed up the Islamisation of Europe, through the mass immigration of Muslim Turks to mainland Europe and to Britain.

Opposing views to those of Patten on Turkey, like the following, get short shrift at INBBC:

“Turkey in Europe: A Bridge Too Far”

I was in Istanbul last year on business (I work in banking). My driver, who saw himself as an educated man, was very worried that at some point the west would try to rename Istanbul Constantinople. He betrayed a sense of paranoia and although claiming to be a fan of Attaturk, was very defensive and protective of Islam. These undercurrents of paranoia, jealousy, resentments will only cause problems – not to mention the arrival of large numbers of immigrants.

Well said and you have perfectly highlighted what islam is all about. Paranoia describes islam to a tee with jealousy and resentment enriching a deep sea of bubbling anger and hatred.

    Notice the emphasis:

“Europeans would show that they could embrace an Islamic democracy…”

So, it’s for Europe to ‘show’ is it? An outright admission that we should be the ones pandering to the Muslims.

Hopefully the EU will implode before Cameron and Patten get their wish. In the meantime keep them on the dhimmi list.

Where?  Apart from inside Patten’s head, I don’t think one really exists.

Be aware of Patten, yes, but he’s not the problem. The elected government will accept Turkey but only if you let them.
Once they do that deed there’s no way out, we’ll be inundated with them!

  12. John Anderson says:

Chris Patten was never a Thatcherite,  was a loose cannon from the start.  “Not one of us”.   He was a One Nation “Tory”.  Part of the wishy-washy Lab/Con postwar consensus that had driven Britain to virtual ruin by the late 1970s.   In 1979 he had the gall to write to Thacher to tell her that her monetaris policies were all wrong !

His review of Thatcher’s book reads fairly snide to me.  Published in the Guardian,  of course :

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2002/mar/30/politics2

I think John Biffen’s quote caught Patten very well :

“Thatcher was a tigress surrounded by hamsters”

  13. Umbongo says:

Patten is an EU fanatic: always was, always will be.  Mind you, if he resiled now he’d lose his very generous EU pension.  I might be mistaken here but it seems he has not stated any intention, on his new appointment, to surrendere his EU pension: you know, the one which is removed if you say or do anything “against the interests of the EU”.

BTW, in respect of safeguarding the interests of the UK (outside Islington that is), when he was EU commissioner he was (and now, I assume, remains) a big fan of our joining the euro.  He was very forthrigjht in condemning the then Labour government for holding back http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/3026047.stm

Patten: a eurofanatic, Hamas luvvie http://readingpsc.org.uk/2010/07/chris-patten-gaza-blockade-an-immoral-failure/ , climate change loonie http://www.oundleschool.org.uk/news/newsItem.php?id=742 and, objectively, all-round traitor to this country’s interests: the perfect CV for the new chairman of the BBC Trust.

    INBBC and ISLAMIC INDONESIA.

Islam Not BBC (INBBC) goes easy on Islamic Indonesia by not reporting inhuman Sharia law (which is what it is).

INBBC has the following report, with the short word, beginning with ‘M’, missing from headline:

[Muslim]”Indonesia anti-porn MP quits for watching porn”

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-13032128

BUT, INBBC’s Ms Kate McGeown, in Jakarta omits this:

“Indonesian Muslim Woman Publicly Caned for ‘Close Proximity’ With Man”

    (inc video)

INBBC: for the burqa, for the niqab, for entry of 80 million Turks into EU, for Islamising Europe, against Israel.

This INBBC ‘Viewpoint’ propaganda (Jan 2011) of many Muslims largely criticising the opinions of non-Muslim indigenous people of Europe is indicative of a broader political alliance which exists sections of political ‘left’ (inc INBBC) and many Muslim groups, not least Hamas, Hezbollah and the Muslim Brotherhood.

    INBBC:

    “Viewpoints: Anti-Muslim prejudice in Europe”

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-12240433

    Censored by INBBC:

“If Muslims were being gunned down and bombed in western mosques by Christian fanatics, there would rightly be a tremendous outcry”

Watch how INBBC  joins in next month with its Islamophilic ‘reporting’ of the next ‘flotilla’ against Israel.
