BBC meme is clear; Libya is the new Iraq and chaos will descend. I listened to Robert Fisk (Sigh – who else) being interviewed on local BBC news channel and he was given free rein to indulge his every hard left whimsy, with no challenge, Then this morning, the BBC has been talking to a Manchester doctor who is in Tripoli (Driven there by hateful Tory cuts?) and he was bemoaning lack of facilities there. The local BBC reporter chirped in that there was no electricity for air-conditioning and “it’s the height of the summer”. Gosh – isn’t war hell?

David, there is – usually – no H in ‘Gaddafi’. If you insist on inserting one, the spelling should be ‘Gaddhafi.
Same applies to Ghandi/Gandhi.

If the BBC could only see the Tripoli squabbling as mere high spirited youths with low slung trousers protesting against Cameron, then I`m sure we could at least begin to spin that narrative for them.

As it is, I sense the BBC are the cleaners after the party…mopping up vaguely, tut tuttting about the hurt done to Gaia…and hoping that DSK will be staying again,now his recent embarrassment is “over”.

For once I agree with the BBC. Though John Simpson was amusing when a doctor was complaining about head and eye injuries caused by falling bullets. What did they expect Simpson replyed if you shoot your guns in the air the bullets have to fall somewhere.
