CURRYING FAVOUR

Wonder if you caught this gem brought to us by the Muslim-adoring BBC? A B-BBC stalwart notes;

“The BBC launches yet another attempt to persuade us that even though Muslims think our culture is depraved, our Christian religion heretical and that they have no real intention of integrating in any meaningful way, we should thank them for their contributions to our society.

‘Eating plays a major role in Ramadan, and it’s now playing a surprisingly big role in British culture too. Stand-up comedian Shappi Khorsandi looks at the way in which food from Muslim countries has helped revolutionise the British palate… and she discovers the surprising effect those foods have had on British identity.”

The BBC’s very own Dan Brown version of history merging fact with fiction, myths and lies to create a story that paints a picture of Britain that the BBC want you to believe in. Muslim comedian Shappi Khorsandi, remarkably annoying and patronising, tells us that Curry is Muslim, coffee is Muslim and spices are Muslim….she doesn’t say much about that other Muslim invention the suicide bomber. We have a lot to be grateful for to the Muslims.

Except perhaps not so much.

Watch this programme and you will come away believing Britain goes home every night to a Vindaloo or Tikka Masala and is changing, evolving, into secret Muslims as you are what you eat as the programme keeps insisting. In that case presumably we are more likely to be Peruvian or at least part Spanish, as we eat so many spuds brought to us from South America by the Spanish….never mind Mexican, Chinese or MacDonald shaped.

For the BBC the history of spices in Britain begins with the Muslims and ends with them….missing out the vast spice trade in the Far East, Ancient Greece and the Roman Empire…..Curry is ‘Muslim’ rather than Indian…never mind Thai, Burmese, even Chinese or Japanese.

Coffee is definitely a Muslim, not just ‘Arab’ invention. Shappi misses out the story of the goatherd who takes some ‘coffee’ berries to a monastery and the Abbot there eventually produces some form of concoction from them to produce a stimulant….that is a Christian Monastery.

‘According to the legend, the news of the “wakeful monastery” spread rapidly, and the magical berry soon “came to be in request throughout the whole kingdom; and in progress of time other nations and provinces of the East fell into the use of it.” ‘

And she certainly didn’t want you to hear about this…..The Arab slave trade and coffee….
‘Another story says that Sudanese slaves used to chewing berries to survive their hard journey. According to this version, this is how coffee reached Arabia from Ethiopia.’

Islam in fact had a retrograde effect on the coffee trade often banning it for religious reasons…..it was certainly Arabs who popularised it as a drink but Islam the religion, had nothing to do with it.

This programme is not about history it is about rewriting history as the BBC’s Professor Cox says…‘public service broadcasting had a “very important” role to play in changing the direction of society’.

So now you know….curry is Muslim not Indian, spices are Muslim not Far Eastern, coffee is Muslim not Arabic…or Ethiopian/Christian.

Curious that when Muslim terrorists let off bombs in London killing 52 people and injuring over 700 and tell us in videos that this is done in the name of Islam the BBC hurry to tell us that this is rubbish….this is not Islam, Islam means peace (and coffee, spices and curry)….these bombers are perverting and distorting Islam.

Trouble is the bombers were following the teachings of Islam…it is with programmes like this that the BBC are perverting the truth about Islam and attempting not only to rewrite history but to write the future as it wishes it to be….quite a dark future if Muslim countries are anything to go by.”

So, by this reckoning, due to the popularity of Burgers and Coca Cola around the world, then the USA should invade and occupy the entire planet!

I think they “accidentally on purpose’ fall into the trap of seeing an Arabic (sounding) name an dimmediately assuming Muslim. Coofee, as you say was most definitely a “Christian discovery” (if we have to sink to such ridiculous point scoring levels to shout down the lying BBC) in Ethiopia (see Solomonic dynasty) where they were Christain and europeans adide thema gianst attacks from Muslims!

I have mentioned before this faux ‘Islam gave us this that and the other’ because it is only “the period”. Nobody claims Judaism gave us THIS or Chritianity gave us THAT, it is people and scholars and countries, NOT the reigion. You’d be here a long time if we had to list the advances and inventions that “Judaism” is giving us NOW.

Curry – A spicey stew, hardly an invention – Roman if anything. Can’t stand the stuff, swimming in hydroginated fats, bleuch

Quote [Wikipedia]; No trans fats are essential fatty acids; indeed, the consumption of trans fats increases the risk of coronary heart disease[1][2] by raising levels of “bad” LDL cholesterol and lowering levels of “good” HDL cholesterol.[3] Health authorities worldwide recommend that consumption of trans fat be reduced to trace amounts. Trans fats from partially hydrogenated oils are more harmful than naturally occurring oils. [/quote]

If they are a muslim invention, perhaps they are being used as a another weapon in the arsenal of radical islam for defeating the infidel…

Does anyone outside the BBC find her funny?  However are you sure she’s Muslim?

I’m surprised you didn’t mention that awful man Mehdi Hasan on Sunday Morning Live.   He was his usual delusional grating self esp when he informed us that immigration is good and we need more not less.  I thought to myself, why doesn’t he P**s off and live in some Islamic/socialist Hellhole where I’m sure he’d fit in better and then It dawned om me, he will be soon, here!

For the record, I think that Mr Brian Cox has gone native during his time at the bbc. Such that I suspect anything he says and certainly wouldn’t take any of his assertions for granted. It’s a shame, really because when he was just a ‘scientist’ he sounded quite informed and plausible.

No Ronald D – whiney but not funny.

Is it me or does it seem like the BBC “sponsor” comedians that use left wing/anti-right wing/BBC world view material in their acts ?

And if a comedian gets a slot on the Beeb, if they toe the line they’ve got it made so they produce more anti-right, beeb friendly material to subtly influence the masses and so on and so on. A sort of social engineering-lite.

I could be wrong – I stopped watching BBC so called comedy programs years ago but as someone who accidently stumbles accross one on Dave, accidentily once in a while, they certainly have that feel about it. It would explain why their are so many unfunny comedians around.

again, as above. I suspect you are spot on. But why wouldn’t he ?

A regular gig at the BBC would be quite a nice way to subsidise a poor scientists meager income, assuming he’s even getting any work as a scientist these days. I’d have thought it would lead on to lots of other oppotunities too. Talks, advisory roles, newspaper columns, magazine articles, after dinner speaking. Give me the oppotunity and i’ll sell my sole to the devil. It beats working for a living.

    No she`s not funny!
Where is her local mosque then, now we could do with a bit of old-time religion?
Silly me-rather thought that curry was an Indian notion(there are a few Sikhs and Hindus there I`m told)…and that Chines cuisine has influenced us too(that will have to be the Uighars then I expect!)
How come the BBC continue to have their letter openers at the throat of the white working class here, but are using the same blade to trim the toenails, corns and calluses of any Muslim gentleman that chooses to sit on them!
What a joke…will someone tell Shappi the Farsi equivalent of “joke”…she doesn`t seem to know what one is yet?

Shouldn’t the BBC be thanking Colonialism and the old British Empire for how curries have expanded the British palate?  Oops, there goes another unapproved thought.

Yet again the bBC  ditches the Asian canard when the subject matter at hand favourably  promotes Islam. You know that canard which the bBC is more than happy to use in which to hide the more insipid acts carried out by the religion of peace™. So when its terrorists, rapists or even thugs then they are Asian, but when it’s the invention of curry, you know that concoction of spices added to food in which to make it very tasty then that can only be attributed to followers of Mohamed.
Here’s a little snippet the bBC might like to take note of:
By 3000 B.C. turmeric, cardamom, pepper and mustard were harvested in India. The Harappans who occupied Harappa and Mohenjodero in the Indus Valley, were of mixed stock, somewhat larger in stature than either the Sumerians or Egyptians denying theories that they were an extension of those communities. They had club wheat, barley, sheep and goats from the Iranian Plateau and cotton from Southern Arabia or North East Africa but were held back by their reliance on flood waters due to general lack of knowledge of irrigation.

The earliest known recipe for meat in spicy sauce with bread appeared on tablets found near Babylon in Mesopotamia, written in cuniform text as discovered by the Sumerians, and dated around 1700 B.C., probably as an offering to the god Marduk.
That’s over 2000 years before Mohammed decided to rape a little 9 year old child. What is it with the bBC and defending rapists.

So I’m watching the bBC revision of events which explains about Britain’s love for spices. Apparently this happened during the 1950s. Which is funny as at school I was taught all about the Spice trade. You know that time in Western European history where when the Muslims Yes Muslims blocked off the Spice route and added huge taxes an alternative route was found by sailing around Africa to India. In fact a certain Christopher Columbus  found the US looking for a route to India.

Yes the bBC doesn’t mention any of this. Instead it gives us bland English food washed down by bland tea until the 70s.  Right and the fact that Millions of British soldiers who have served abroad up don’t pick up a taste for foreign food, I myself love eating frikadellen (German) drinking dark German coffee, Mett Brotchen (raw mince, onions on bread rolls) Would I be wrong to say that the returning troops from India didn’t bring back a love for curry? Now when did the last troops leave India?

Oh and for all the prestige the bBC affords Islamic (meat) curries, I must admit that the best curries I have ever eaten have been Vegetarian you know the type that Hindus (the majority faith in India) consume. I know a very nice vegi Indian restaurant in Hong Kong , but lets be serious how many Muslims in the UK would set foot inside a Hindi eating house.

The BBC has swallowed Islamic propaganda that Muslims have created many of the wonders of the world – they probably also believe in the civilisation and tolerance that was Andalucia.

So the great propagada machine has itself been taken in by Islamic propaganda. That is trouble with propagandists, first they start to believe in their own lies, and then the lies of others.
