“Has catch-up TV killed off BBC’s licence to bill?

“The BBC’s licence fee is ‘dead in the water’ thanks to modern technology, say experts, and moving to a “subscription model” would not only save viewers money but also bring in more cash for the Corporation.”

    By David Stephenson.

Islam, Spain: deportation of critic. Freedom case censored out by INBBC.

“Spain to deport Pakistani ex-Muslim refugee for criticizing Islam”

    By Robert Spencer.

    [Excerpt]

“’The Spanish Supreme Court has ruled that a political refugee should be deported because his criticism of Islam poses ‘a danger to the security of Spain.’ But in reality, Imran Firasat’s criticism of Islam doesn’t pose a danger to the security of Spain. What poses a danger to the security of Spain is the way some Muslims may react to Imran Firasat’s criticism of Islam. But rather than confront them, Spanish authorities are sending Imran Firasat back to certain death in Pakistan. This is, in other words, a complete capitulation to Islamic supremacist intimidation and the self-imposition of Sharia blasphemy laws.”

    http://www.jihadwatch.org/2014/06/spain-to-deport-pakistani-ex-muslim-refugee-for-criticizing-islam

INBBC will apparently not report this for fear of endangering its long-term political project of cementing the ‘left’-Islamic alliance.

A Man out of time ‏@DVATW:
“Mr Toad alert on #marrshow The smug face of the SNP delusionalism now on the BBC.”

A Man out of time @DVATW:
“Alex Salmond and Yvette Cooper on #marrshow. Hope you have digested your breakfast…”

Good to see the glorious leader of BBBC getting right to the heart of the Scottish Independence debate without resorting to personal insults.

A Man out of time ‏@DVATW:
“Scottish Nationalism. Driven by a deep hatred of England, an infatuation with endless welfarism and deeply mired in Socialism. #marrshow”

Seems David finds it difficult to understand that much of the SNP’s vote comes from areas that as late as the 1980’s were Conservative & Unionist strongholds. It would be interesting to hear David’s take on those English born nationalists resident in Scotland who support Independence.

“In 2007/08, 6.7% of SNP members were found to have been born in England, “not far below the 8.1% recorded in the 2001 census for the population as a whole”. Nearly half – 47.2% – of the party reported having lived in England”.

If not then maybe he has an opinion on the “prominent English-born figures in the party which include prospective MEP Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh, Christine Grahame MSP, Stuart McMillan MSP, Nigel Don MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning Mike Russell, Cabinet Secretary for the Commonwealth Games, Sport, Equalities and Pensioners’ Rights Shona Robison and the party’s Westminster leader Angus Robertson MP”

A Man out of time ‏@DVATW:
“Little Scotlanders like Salmond must embarrass all right thinking Scots. #marrshow”

After 7 years in government the SNP still lead the opinion polls with Salmond maintaining high voter satisfaction figures. David obviously has problems with politicians who win elections and then follow through on their manifesto promises!!

In the words of this site “by their Tweets you shall know them”!!

The SNP’s founder, R.B. Cunninghame Graham is famously quoted as saying: “The enemies of Scottish Nationalism are not the English, for they were ever a great and generous folk, quick to respond when justice calls. Our real enemies are among us, born without imagination.”

To be honest with you Albaman, I hope that Scotland does vote for independence.
The vote will be split close enough that only a cauterisation will suffice for the Yes campaigners…they are anti-democratic, lefty entitlement types in the main, and won`t settle for anything less than full independence.
Just as long as there is no financial ongoing grievance farming that ends up in continual compensation…which the left will always do, to fund their lunacy.

I must have no imagination then Albaman. Despite the four businesses I started which employ over 100 people. And yet I came from nothing. I am fiercely Scots yet I am Thatcherite which must stick right in your fucking craw. We are not all Fat Fuehrer loving lickspittles.

Two conflicting reports on Pope and Islamic prayers at Vatican.
    1.) Pamela Geller-
“For the first time in history, Islamic prayers to be held at Vatican today”

    [Excerpt]-
“This new pope is a nightmare. For the first time in history, Islamic prayers and readings from the Quran will be heard at the Vatican on Sunday. I await the church service in Mecca — when non-Muslims are actually allowed to go to Mecca. I await the repeal of apostasy laws under Islam. I await the repeal of blasphemy laws under Islam. I await the apology for the slaughter of hundreds of millions of non-Muslims in jihad wars.” – See more at: http://pamelageller.com/2014/06/first-time-history-islamic-prayers-held-vatican-today.html/#sthash.wR5SDWqI.dpuf

Agreed. If the Guardian and the BBC like Francis-then it will be the wrong Pope for the Catholics.
That Ulster pastor spoke the truth…there is no compromise possible with the 12th Century barbarity that is called Islam.
Their book is all to clear about what Islam plans for the likes of me and my kind…and, like Mein Kampf; is route one to murder and anti-Semite evil.
I heard my last rendition of it at Woolwich last year-despite the media refusing to play the whole sermon of the blood spattered psychopath who quoted it.
      No sell out.

There used to be a time when this country looked for it’s future with wide eyed hope to America. Now it looks with despairing eyes to Pakistan for its future and tonight there has been a major attack on Karachi Airport, showing the carnage that just 5 determined Jihadis can achieve when let loose.

How long before this happens here?

And when it comes to the main BBC news the story is relegated down to third or fourth place, but then yet again it’s another night full of stories of Muslims misbehaving themselves !

Monday’s front page of the Daily Express says there are 2 million illegal immigrants in Britain, from 159 countries – and that we get rid of only one in 70 of them.

I bet that isn’t mentioned on the BBC’s reviews of newspapers in the morning.

BBC Sports news, Lewis Hamilton retires from Canadian GP, no mention of Jenson Button coming from nowhere in an underperforming car and finishing 4th having passed two cars including Fernando Alonso on the last lap….

Strangely enough we noticed that on the Lewis Hamilton show formally known as F1. I thought the commentator was going to explode when Rosberg cut the chicane, but wasn’t forced to hand over the lead. Yes strange how Button got virtually zero mention I think the last time I noticed before the finish he was in eight(not via the commentary though) then suddenly he’s fourth no explanation no film that I saw I was back and forward between the kitchen at that time so I may have missed this (although I think not). So yet another race when up to his withdrawal all you could hear was “Lewis Hamilton”, every few seconds. Still it’s been like this for a few years now on the BBc coverage, in fact mentioned it on here last year.

Button was 10th on the First Lap, dropped to 15th, but finished 4th

Obviously, there were some retirements between then but still, one helluva achievement for a British driver. Can’t imagine why the Bheeb would miss that

I am no fan of the BNP but I wonder if the the government will be stopping these Muslim extremists from teaching the way they do with BNP members? Where are Hope Not Hate with their protests? This country is finished!

    • Thoughtful says:

The proof that the Fascists have no real interest in equality, or in human rights is laid out for all to see in the way that the European Charter of Human Rights was implemented in the UK.

Nu Liebour fascist and oppressive beliefs meant that although they desperately wanted to introduce ‘equality’ on the grounds of Race, Gender, Sexual Orientation, they were equally desperate to not give any equality to people of different political beliefs, despite the act expressly including them.

As a result a case called ‘Redfearn Vs Serco’ was brought before the European court when he was completely unable to access his rights under the charter because the Nu Liebour Fascists never implemented them.

Redfearn was a bus driver ferrying school children of all races in Bradford who stood as a councillor for the BNP. When his employer found out they sacked him and thus began the case, which he won.

Serco had an interesting defence. Aside from being found to have liberally lied on almost ever occasion, and altered Redfearns spotless employment record, their defence rested on the fact that Muslims are violent and they feared attacks on their drivers and equipment as a result.

As a result the government has been forced to include discrimination on the grounds of political belief, and it is illegal to dismiss someone simply for holding views or being a member of a political organisation.

Stopping BNP members from teaching, or being in the Police is an illegal policy introduced by the Fascist Nu Liebour group, who ignored the laws they didn’t like and made laws which would never stand up when challenged, – they didn’t !

      Interesting next story too:
“We need a BBC with plenty of bite

Ahead of Charter Renewal negotiations, the BBC must not pull in its journalistic teeth. The signs of late have not been great, as troublemakers Jeremy Paxman and Panorama editor Tom Giles have stepped down. The BBC has already lost cage-rattling reporters such as Michael Crick and Paul Mason.

Editorial mistakes could be damaging at this delicate stage of the BBC’s history….”
That last seems a boat long sailed, and if Crick or Mason rattled any cages it was in a rather limited direction.
Maybe it’s not the bite so much as the limited diet served?
