BBC current affairs seems to have morphed into The David Blunkett Show….he must have a good press agent.
    He’s resigning…big deal…cue a 5 minute hagiography on Radio4 Today programme.
His phone was hacked…he just didn’t know how on earth he coped with it….so he told BBC 6 o’clock News in another 5 minute drama-queeny outpouring of amazing self pity.
5 minutes that was therefore NOT devoted to global suffering of real significance….like women being brutalised in their hundreds of thousands…like people being mown down in their hundreds of thousands by psychopathic terror organisations….but, never mind all that, let’s get back to the big story of the day….David Blunkett’s sufferings.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we read a headline like this on the BBC for once:

“Muslim supremacists and fundamentalist Islam posing a real threat to the UK”

    But instead we get:

“Heartbroken family plea for their ‘talented and bright boy’ to return home from the Sunni rebel attacks in Iraq”

Back in May some may remember the BBC running a story Video ‘shows shootings of Palestinian protesters’
Screengrab of a video purportedly showing two teenage Palestinians being shot dead by Israeli security forces at a protest on 15 May 2014
DCI said Nadim Nuwara (left) was filmed by CCTV cameras shortly before being shot. A human rights group has released a video it says shows two teenage Palestinians being shot dead by Israeli security forces at a protest last week.
Defence for Children International (DCI) said the footage proved Muhammad Abu Thahr and Nadim Nuwara had posed no threat and been killed unlawfully.

It goes on with the clear indictment that because the Palestinian medics had said it, it must be true. The video they link to is one that any fair minded person watching it would find something fishy about it – but not our BBC who are happy to run anything that demonizes Israel.

Except the full video that shows the out-take preceding the above video, which shows it to be a complete fabrication has emerged.
I’m sure the BBC won’t be bothering to amend their original story accordingly.

More and more video is emerging showing that Obama deliberately chose to cut to virtually zero the number of US personnel left behind in Iraq – after the surge had succeeded in 2011. He thereby cut to a minimum the leverage he had to press Maliki to have a more balanced Government – Maliki immediately started kicking the Sunnis out of any office or forcing them into exile. And he cut to a minimum the amount the US personnel could stiffen the sytrength and resolve of the Iraqi army.

All this was against the strong and clear advice Obama was getting from the US military – and the obvious relevance of what applied in Germany, Japan and Korea after peace was restored.

The BBC underplays all this – and hence hides Obama’s share of responsibility – with Maliki – for allowing the ISIS challenge to grow so large and so dangerous.

Here the case is explained clearly – by some quality forceful and well-informed TV journalism, streets ahead of what the wretched BBC serves up to us :

Nigeria: more INBBC deceit on Islamic jihad extreme violence.

    Two contrasting reports:-

    1.) ‘Jihadwatch’:-

“Nigeria: Islamic jihadists abduct 60 more girls and women, 31 boys”

    By Robert Spencer.

    [Excerpt]:-
“This is entirely in accord with Islamic law. Kidnapping infidels and releasing them for ransom or killing them, as well as enslaving them if that option is deemed most advantageous for the Muslims, is fully sanctioned in Islamic law: “As for the captives, the amir [ruler] has the choice of taking the most beneficial action of four possibilities: the first to put them to death by cutting their necks; the second, to enslave them and apply the laws of slavery regarding their sale and manumission; the third, to ransom them in exchange for goods or prisoners; and fourth, to show favor to them and pardon them. Allah, may he be exalted, says, ‘When you encounter those [infidels] who deny [the Truth=Islam] then strike [their] necks’ (Qur’an sura 47, verse 4)” — Abu’l-Hasan al-Mawardi, al-Ahkam as-Sultaniyyah (The Laws of Islamic Governance), trans. by Dr. Asadullah Yate, (London), Ta-Ha Publishers Ltd., 1996, p. 192.”

2.) INBBC deceitful version is about Boko Haram Islamic jihadists being merely “militants” and “fighters”!

Who writes and edits INBBC’s stuff: certain types of Muslims only?-

How the BBC can even print this guff is beyond me…

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-27377978

Because of immigration the NHS is collapsing but the BBC won’t say that because it goes against their pro-EU, multicultural ideology.

Lack of funding and investment, it’s all to do with mismanagement. Nothing to do with too many people coming here and leeching off the service, of course:
