Love Me, Love MY Dog II

The little private chat some Muslim activists had with James Harding worked a treat….the BBC is now filling the airwaves with pro-Muslim propaganda aimed at making us non-believers realise what lovely chaps Muslims really are and what a beautiful religion Islam is.

Love my comedy, love Islam.  Die laughing….a joke….a joke!!! What!!!!

Five comedy shorts, written and starring British Muslim comedians, exploring the highs and lows of modern Muslim life, including personal struggles around Ramadan.

Other religions need not apply.

Perhaps Lenny Henry should take note….the way to get more Black people onto the BBC is to…em…blow up half of London. Seems to be how it works at the BBC.

One lesson well understood in both Stalin’s Russia and Nazi Germany was that propaganda is most effective when it is backed by terror…Sir Alan Bullock.

When was the last time we heard about Christian, Buddhist and Hindu comedy on the BBC? More Muslim grovelling from the BBC.

There was a whole series called “Old Jews Telling Jokes” on BBC Four.

The series isn’t currently available on BBC online but the title certainly doesn’t seem to be inviting much love and bonhomie. Perhaps it’s meant to be a reflection of the drier side of Jewish Humour but, come on, this is the BBC and, at least to my mind, it reads more like a sneer.

Of course, in their short description of the programme, the BBC can’t resist a further jibe, this time at old people in general:
‘Remember, laugh loud – they don’t hear so good.’
I’m sure the BBC apparatchiks were guffawing all day when they came up with that hilarious line.

And of course-fails the acid test of comedy in that Citizen Kahn was racist, stereotyped weasel shit pellets…not funny whatsoever.
Was the death of Felix Dexter a coincidence?…or was Allah pissed off at what “Muslim Comedy” was allowed to squeeze through the cheeks of the BBC.
At least Mind Your Language or Ain`t Half Hot Mum had a few actors in that could be funny elsewhere…

There’s a short about Ram@dan where a ginger convert seeks advice on how to behave. It is puerile beyond belief and as funny as Sandi Toksvig’s skidmarks.

All for respect, if deserved, which amongst many things means not imposing censorship boundaries unilaterally.

Also a firm fan of staying On Topic. Though this is not really a house rule, and certainly honored by some in the breaking until they suddenly become hall monitors, often for reasons that may err on the hypocritical.

Now, on the matter of respect, mirroring identities: creepy insincere flattery or something even less savoury?

    To be discussed…

Muslim comedy? If they take the mickey out of the ‘prophet’ then maybe they will be shot by terrorists.
