The entire article is aimed at lecturing the Right about what brave and good people the RNLI volunteers are. The point they have missed (or are deliberately missing) is that nobody denies that. What we don’t like is the management decision to send these boats out to ‘rescue’ illegal immigrants and bring them to our country where they will stay forever and be a burden on the white taxpayer whilst dragging the local areas we put them in down to the level of the shithole they came from.
By ‘rescue’ of course they mean taking all the passengers off a boat which has travelled for 10 hours and 170 miles without incident – and ‘refused rescue’ from the French along the way who were only too happy to leave them in their ‘dangerous’ boat.

Last week the RNLI’s chief executive responded to criticism of the RNLI by claiming that only 1.2% of its ‘lifeboat launches last year were for people “in distress in the Channel” . What he didn’t say was that around 28% of those ‘people in distress’ who were rescued were illegal immigrants trying to break into the country, and the figure for 2024 was even higher at around 50%. But then, that would put a somewhat different perspective on the matter.
