    This school meals menu change reminded me of when I was at school.
    Every Thursday we paid 5 shillings, the weeks dinner money.
    In my last year or two I used to keep the 5 Bob and go to the sweet shop where I would spend the lot on sweets. The rest of the week I went without anything for dinner.
