Mid-Week Open Thread

Is it Friday that 5Live is inviting you to confess your sins and to recant? You voted Brexit but you now realise the error of your ways [having been wisely guided by the new priesthood of the BBC] and you wish to wash away those sins and vote again and again and again…until the the Good Lord Juncker is pleased with what he sees.

Perhaps we better save a bit of space on the open thread for that one…

Bacon sales dropped by over £122m during the 12 months, whilst sausage sales declined by £51m.
Richard Esau, marketing director of Tulip – a meat supply chain company – said a report by the World Health Organisation linking processed meats to cancer had played a part.

hmmm I can think of another reason.

I don’t know which part of the country they got those statistics from, as the ‘best back’ always seems to sell well in my local Co-op, and the fish (never the bacon) is always on Reduced pricing at the end of the week !

What always strikes me is that the absolutely colossal collective guilt the Germans feel for the catastrophic evil and destruction of lives in the first and second World Wars has now totally hamstrung them.

As a result they daren’t do or say anything that might be construed as “racist.” Thereby they sign their own death warrant.

If I were a Wahabi strategist planning the infiltration of the liberal West, I’d choose Germany as the softest target.

And I’d choose to infiltrate the wet liberal bBBC as my communications medium.

But having the satisfaction of occupying the moral high ground and risk losing your loved ones for no good reason does not appear to be a good choice.

WE need to ignore the woman and look to our own resources. Avoid cities and possible targets and make sure you can get out fast if necessary. This is what we should be hearing but instead we hear these snowflake platitudes.
Isis said they were going for soft targets in Europe and I believe them.
Germany has flooded Europe with possible terrorists and that is now their problem. We must make sure that none of it crosses the Channel and if in doing so we upset the liberal elite’s sensibilities then that elite needs to get out of the way and here as hopefully in Europe be replaced by new men and women who put their people first first and first again.

The truth is that until Islam is eradicated from Europe and the ability of Muslim countries to de facto mount attacks on us is curtailed , these deaths will go on indefinitely .Any politician who wants to be taken seriously should admit to this and stop lying to the public .
Equally I would like politicians of all parties who have held power since the 1960s to apologise for allowing mass immigration without voter consent and for peddling lies about the viability of multiculturalism .

And the Satanic Verses may not have been the Alamo, had we backed Ray Honeyford in 1084/5.

Just heard on the news that Wales actually gets more money back from the EU than THEY pay in, yet they still voted fror Brexit. Can this be true? Do the constituent parts of the UK pay into the EU as separate entities or, is it more like it’s the UK who pays in on behalf of all the parts. If so, what the hell is the BBC going on about regarding what any region pays into the blackhole that is the EU?.

ToobiWan, true, but doesn’t fit the BBC’s views so they won’t share that.

Merthyr Tydfil voted BREXIT despite having tens of millions from the EU – forget the money actually comes from us, minus the EU’s ‘handling charges’. The Guardian described the people of as ‘Turkeys voting for Christmas’, see how witty the soft left can be? I had to mop the tears of laughter from my eyes.

Anyways, an ITV crew actually did the impossible for the BBC and Guardian and went to Merthyr to ask the stupid, uneducated, racist bigots why they voted out. The reply was that yes, factories had been built with EU money but then filled with eastern Europeans hired at a fraction of the going rate. So unemployment remained the same, but the incomers pushed up the rents in the area, were granted homes if they had families, led to queues at doctor’s surgeries, over whelmed schools and the NHS was left in an impossible position.

Maybe the Brexit voters of Wales just voted in their own interests. And good luck to them.

Maybe we need a new definition of the money given by the EU. Politicians used to use the phrase “real terms” quite a lot when trying to justify wasting tax payer’s cash on pet projects. Maybe we need to define useful money. Spending EU cash on statues and jobs for outsiders doesn’t help Welsh people much. Supporting local industries suffering from brutal competition such as the steel industry would be more useful but under EU rules that would not be allowed. Therefore under current the current EU system only useless money is allowed!

    Classic bias this evening.
On Who Do You Think You Are we have Ricky Tomlinson, unashamed unapologetic professional Liverpudlian and Labour supporter, ex union official, wears his heart on his sleeve.

Now he’s not my cup of tea but he is entitled to his views.

The issue is not him. The issue is the biased BBC giving him and people like him this amd many other platforms, without comment, in this case unadullterated left wing polemic and hammering home how poor times were in the 1850s. It was just a massive 1hour party political broadcast. The Trade Unions in particular must have loved it.

But where oh where are the right of centre people to give the balance? Where are the unashamed right of centre people who celebrate hard work, making a go of it, entrepreneurial, building businesses, making sales?
They do actually exist, though you would never know it.

      Most disappointed.

But then he went on about how his ancestors were not bigots – and that is where he must have got it from. Well I’ve read your autobiography Ricky and you admit to joining the NF as a protest against immigrants from the colonies taking jobs and keeping wage rates down for the working classes.

Pity the BBC researchers didn’t read it too. Or they would have mentioned it. Wouldn’t they?

So many delicious ironies and examples of gross hypocrisy in that programme that I laughed myself to sleep that night. Here are just a couple.
St. Ricky coyly admitted that his house has FOUR toilets. This information slipped out while he was touring a Liverpool slum where his ancestors lived, having to share a midden with around 80 people.
Earlier we had learnt that his Scouse ancestors were carters, who much to my chagrin (if not Ricky’s) were revealed to be a cut above the dockers, and owing to their slightly elevated status were able to move house up the hill away from the docks to a better neighbourhood. Of course up there in the clean air, with good views of the Mersey (is that possible? Ed.) there were no ghastly Irish Catholic immigrant dockers polluting the place.
Of course Ricky, being of limited nous, failed to see how the unfolding story was destroying his carefully crafted image of being descended from true “werking class grafting unbigoted SCOUSERS”.
Oh and some free advice for you, Ricky; laughing at the end of every supposed witticism you utter is not very appealing, clever or endearing. Especially when they are not funny.

I used to put some effort into watching ‘Who Do You Think You are’. They used to be interesting – but the programmes are now much less about the ‘stars’ ancestors but more used as an opportunity to tell us how wicked past times were and how dreadfully poor people were treated. One of my favourites, however, was when Aynsely Harriet learned he was descended from the white slave owner and the slave who was, if I remember correctly, his mistress. Aynsely just couldn’t cope with the idea that he had white blood running through his veins (apparently on average a black in America is 25% white ancestry). However the celebrities now appearing seem to be chosen for their left wing credentials and appear to have very little interesting in their actual forbears and I have stopped watching.

One of the new children of diversity on Sky News, Hannah Thomas Peter, is sharing her views on Donald Trump. We have been blessed with her somewhat negative views on the orange one since he had the temerity to battle the noble Hillary, (no surname required), for the vacant position of the Presidency.

Now, despite being the US correspondent of Sky, she never had time to report what Trump was actually saying beyond the Guardian headlines of ‘walls’ and ‘Muslims’. No viewer of SKY news is aware of Trump’s pledges to safeguard jobs, improve wages and control job exports.

Her current view, which we are fortunate to be allowed to view on loop on the Sky news web site, is that ‘Trump’s comments exploit fears’. This is a reference to the latest Muslim outrages in Turkey and Germany following which Trump has shared somewhat negative thoughts on the religion of peace.

You might feel her view is odd as Sky and the BBC are never timid about building up fears of any groups who aren’t under the soft left umbrella.

A single, gut wrenching, tragic attack on Jo Cox MP, as appalling as it truly was, is never balanced out against the attacks on other MPs. Stephen Timms was attacked by a Muslim, and left with ‘life threatening injuries’, but please let us not condemn Muslim groups. A string of MPs, not of the left, were murdered by the IRA, Airey Neave, Robert Bradford, Edgar Graham, Sir Anthony Berry, Ian Gow and Lord Jones’ assistant, Andrew Pennington was killed by a nutter in the community. So far the BBC/SKY haven’t linked these attacks to the groups responsible, yet they attempt to link Jo Cox’s death with all Brexit groups. Nor has anyone released a song to download for any of the victims, but I suspect the victims’ families might be grateful for that.

So why, in Hannah’s naïve words criticizing Trump for censuring Muslims for killing people, do the soft left exploit Jo Cox’s death with so much energy?

Do the soft left understand the hypocrisy of their views? Perhaps Hannah, or another of the children of Diversity, SKY now employ as expert correspondents, could tell us.

Scribe – The left dont want to understand the hypocrisy of their views.

I think that since the 1960 s many many kids were bought up without the word “no” in their lives. Perhaps this was an over reaction by the post war generation to help them forget about austerity and so they dived headlong into the new consumption culture – who knows?

But what I do think, is that many people have been bought up without ever having their physical wants or their more selfish desires checked in any meaningful way.

I think in some ways this extends to debate – The left never accept the obvious hypocrisy in their views because this demands a little humility in attitude and they have been conditioned to always get their way.

Rather, what we get when they are challenged is a Violet Elizabeth Bott reaction (with all its attendant nastiness) – If you dont agree with me and challenge my views – Ill scream and scream and scream! No one can be challenged and no one can be disappointed with a “All must have Prizes Culture! (Thank you Melanie Phillips)

Take this on a few generations and we have “safe spaces” for students where they can dish the shit not have to hear any opposing arguments.

I think with this mindset we are in for challenging times ahead and I just hope that when eventually the sheer stark reality of what these idiots are advocating hits home = they may well start to wake up.

We have been lucky up to now in the UK but eventually the “jihad” bullet will find its mark in this country too – and many of these lefty morons are in for a shock. There is very little satisfaction in saying I told you so when the body bags are being filled.

I suggest he should have thought twice before joining Gobby Geldof’s counter demonstration against the fisherman which happened to be the day before his wife was murdered.

Thomas Mair is not a terrorist. He targeted one person, St Jo. He was trying to be forced out of his lifelong council house. I suggest he asked for help from his MP but she was busy helping refugees.

She tweeted her pride of her husband on the Thames that day. Mair asked for help from the mental health team that same day.

I suggest that Brendan Cox triggered Thomas Mair’s brain to kill St Jo. Thomas Mair wasn’t given a fair trial. Stephen Kinnock read a statement to the jury before he was tried. Mair should have.received a psychiatric assessment. He was a victim of the Remoaners.

Thomas Mair should never have committed murder but I am convinced of the above.

Gilian – Thomas Mair mad or bad we will never know. However I am sure we all agree what he did was an evil thing (and no diferent in my eyes in the savagery that was meted out to Lee Rigby) and he will rightly be paying the price for it for the rest of his sorry life.

What I am however starting to have is an issue with is this constant dermal irritation I get from St Brendan the Pure. It appears to me with his charity career on hold a new one appears, to being carved out for him as a professional victim.

No one in the media dares to ask him any difficult questions, because it shows you are full of hate. And besides he seems to know a few lawyers!

We know what he is suggesting is naive at the best, and downright suicidal to our culture, freedoms and traditions. Especially if he gets his way regarding migration.

As I have said before about him, to me he demonstrates all the typical elite arrogance which has gone so far to ruin this country. As to his message – I cant wait. For sure it will a quality guilt trip. Though I do wonder whether there will be a section in it about inappropriate behavior towards women?

He is certainly well suited to eIther the BBC or channel 4 and I suspect it will not be too long before he becomes a “go to guy ” regarding “hate” crime. And this is good because as usual in the end people will become thoroughly sick of his whining and hectoring and may well start to ask the question – What do you really know or care about the life of real people?

Grant he needed to be punished madness or not – Some sort of message needs to be sent when these types of crimes are committed.

As for the trial I do agree that the result was inevitable as was the way it was conducted. More should have been made of his mental state and personal circumstances but equally what he did was unforgivable and he has to be punished.

The trouble is it becomes very difficult to separate out what the true facts are, because of this disgraceful and shoddy spin and manipulation of the death of Jo Cox by the left.

I suspect if Nigel Farage had been assassinated by a nutter the left would be rejoicing and much more concerned about the mental welfare of the murderer rather than Nigels family. However that being what it may Thomas Mair committed murder and we have to see murder for what it is – evil and he needs to be severely punished.

I am sick to death with the lame-stream, fake MSM continually churning out pro-EU propaganda. ON both the BBC and Sky this morning (they both now seem to air the same reports and in sync) we have pro-EU reports warning about effects to the economy even though our economy is quite resilient and buoyant at present. Such indoctrination is despicable but it is relentless. The BBC and Sky incessantly talk Britain, and our potential to be successful as an independent nation, down; they are an utter disgrace, the BBC more so because we are forced to fund its leftie drivel.

Also, has anyone noticed the huge increase in ethnic minorities on news programmes (not to mention adverts etc)? Seemingly completely out of proportion to the ethnic composition of the country. Why can’t the left-wing diversity squad just leave things alone? Obviously, I have no problem with people from all ethnic backgrounds being on programmes so long, though, as they are there on merit and not due to some politically-motivated agenda to portray multiculturalism as the new, unshakeable norm which must not be discussed. I mean, I was on Sky the other day and every programme and advert in between had an ethnic minority presenter. How long until we have a burka-clad presenter?

On a separate topic, why has the BBC got a Alba and Cymru section? Regarding Alba no sod speaks Gaelic as their single/main language so why are we subsidising it? Again, I have no problem with Gaelic culture but am sick of being forced to fund services which have absolutely zero relevance to my life. If we cannot yet get rid of the vile BBC I would argue that at the most it should be cut down to the bare basics. Also, why the f&*^% have we got Punjabi or Asian or Black channels/stations? Why don’t we have an English culture channel? That’d be racist though wouldn’t it?

The love-in between the meeedja and their charideee pals continues: so 80% of 458 surveyed said they’d had “attack or abuse” – which doesn’t actually say what defines either category. On Sky this was translated as meaning 80% of all homeless people are attacked or abused.

At the end of the day, who cares? Just another charity with the begging bowl out. Today the homeless (many are homeless by choice BTW), tomorrow another “disadvantaged” section of society. Meanwhile we get on with working for a living.

News presentation is about authority. The preponderance of ethnic minority news presenters is about demonstrating authority, and exclusion.

The incongruity of a news presenter in a hijab reporting truck terrorism from Nice and of an ethnic minority reporter in Berlin is deliberate. The message is…..a white person might be biased in delivering this story…..we (the liberal broadcasting managers and editors pulling the strings) might be called “institutionally racist” if a white person reports on this incident…..best put up an ethnic minority reporter to show we are “neutral” on this sensitive story.

This is why so many people no longer trust or rely on conventional news sources to develop their view of the world.

In those innocent times prior to Global Warming the BBC and Met Office used to play a seasonal game of ‘will it snow on Christmas Day?’ The bookmaking fraternity seized the opportunity to facilitate the fun and all eyes focused on the Air Ministry roof at midday 25th December. Come the second millenia (or was it the third?) the Blairite kill joys took a break from banning our traditions on the grounds of health and safety and the Warmists declared ‘our children will never again see snow’. They knew how to hit us where it hurts. Nature does what it pleases and it was still rather chilly at the appropriate time of year. The urgency of the dire warnings needed to be pumped up (with a careful side step about Climate Change and Weather Weirding). Now this week our on-message BBC weather forcasters are pinning their hopes on a ‘record’ temperature on the big day. I’m not sure but I think that Bowen got the FIRST and the LAST word in this particular discussion, or maybe there were “technical difficulties” at the former diplomat’s end? Which made it impossible to return to him, so we were treated to another earful of J.B.’s BS.

Just listened to Sharmishta Chakrabarti on the Today Programme pondering why the prison population has doubled since 1980.

Of course her answer was political, and/or profiteering due to privatisation. Although she then confessed that she didn’t really know, and was going to look at it really hard with Richard Burgon (ha ha), but it must be political, to appear tough on crime, or profiteering.

When Justin Webb inconveniently pointed out that it was judges, not politicians, that sent people to jail she thought it was appropriate to say that judges can be directed by politicians. Oh, so it is okay to question the partiality of judges then!

But of course the real reason didn’t get a mention, and the BBC of course is never going to go there. In fact our politicians are never going to go there either, which is why it is impossible to obtain any meaningful information on our prison population about their religion or country of birth, or better still country of parents birth.

Of course, the reason for the increase in our prison population is blindingly obvious, but expect everything but to be discussed for the foreseeable future.

    • G says:

Yes, quisquose, I heard that interview. Chakrabarti used the time span of 20 years as an example of the prison population having doubled. It is not possible to compare with the suggestion that all other factors remain the same during that 20yrs. The good-old elephant in the room = the number of criminals coming to the UK and being locked up. In some prisons, HALF the population is from overseas. If the country experiences massive inflows of foreigners, many of whom turn to criminality, what can we expect?

      • Grant says:

        G,

Yes, massive population increase. Increase in criminality generally. Detection and conviction rates falling. Sentences more lenient. The question should be ” Why is the prison population not higher ? “. But that does not fit into the BBC’s parallel universe.

      • Al Shubtill says:

G – many eastern european countries have used the EU freedom of movement rules to encourage members of the criminal elements (e.g. the Roma) within their societies, to re-locate themselves here in the U.K.; which is why we now bear the social cost of their “lifestyle” and criminality and the financial cost of imprisoning them.

A century ago, Marxist intellectuals realised that the proletariat were never going to rise up and bring about revolution, so the strategy became one of recruiting society’s disaffected: coloureds, sexual deviants, criminals and other groups. The echo of this is in the Leftist obsession with the rights (sic) of criminals, even if they have never read Gramsci themselves or are aware of the strategy. This week the BBC have been giving prominense to the ramblings of discredited former leader of the Liberal Democrats, Nicholas Clegg who, along with other political has beens, has been calling (and I kid you not) for the prison population to be halved. Today, the BBC helpfully runs a ‘reality check’ on Europhile Clegg’s claim that “England and Wales have the highest incarceration rate per head of the population in Western Europe” (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-38403756), as though this somehow ‘proves’ that the lunatic proposal of Clegg and friends is somehow sensible.

The BBC has a short and highly selective memory. Worldwide, Britain is about the mid-point when it comes to locking up criminals. We only lock up 146 per per 100,000 of the population. Compare to, say, the United States (737 per 100,000), Russia (615 per 100,000), Ukraine (350 per 100,000), South Africa (334 per 100,000) or Poland (235 per 100,000). Who says so? The International Centre for Prison Studies, as reported by the BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/spl/hi/uk/06/prisons/html/nn2page1.stm).

Here’s a radical suggestion: if the prison system cannot cope with the number of prisoners, rather than reduce the numbers, build more prisons.

EE, I thought I detected a slightly more moderate line from Bowen on Syria when the tone changed generally on R4 News a few days ago (couple of weeks back, now?) when they owned up to the fact that East Aleppo contained ‘rebels’ and ‘forces hostile to Assad’ and whose spokespeople were ‘activists’. (They didn’t stop making outrageous claims about Assad personally: refer to Carolyn Quinn on PM.)

At the time I was quite struck by Jeremy Bowen’s actual change of voice, the tone, the tenor, its energy: it stood out from that used previously.

I agree that he has now been put firmly in his place as has the whole BBC. The Humph did not seem quite so ebullient on Syria this morning although I note that he gave Bowen the (long) final word on the matter and did not ask the former Ambassador if he agreed with what Bowen had said.

Could that be the problem? The BBC, including especially Jeremy Bowen and Lyse Doucet, have been singing from a hymn sheet provided by a thoroughly disgraced Foreign & Commonwealth Office. “It doesn’t matter what is happening, this is the tone your news reports from Syria should take.”

I have wondered and still do why William Hague appeared to be so neutered as Foreign Secretary in his time in post, especially in relation to Syria.

This is the time of year we all like to reflect on the year’s events. In doing this today I realised that we all owe a great deal to the Boaty McBoatface incident. You must remember the vote to name the new Arctic research vessel that didn’t go according to plan. The powers that be didn’t get the answer they wanted so they just disregarded the poll and named it the RRS Formerly Accomplished Wildlife Documentary Maker Now Addled Climate Change Advocate Who Also Wants to Reduce the Human Population. This rather cumbersome title is abbreviated to RRS David Attenborough for practical purposes. My point being, this lulled our masters into a false sense of security thinking that they could just disregard the popular vote in the event we got it all wrong and so ride roughshod over the democratic process. How gloriously and spectacularly wrong they were.
By the way, and thanks to the Grauniad of all sources, this was the actual result of the Boaty Voaty:
    1RRS Boaty McBoatface – 124,109
    2RRS Poppy-Mai – 34,371
    3RRS Henry Worsley – 15,231
    4RRS It’s bloody cold here – 10,679
    5RRS David Attenborough – 10,284
I thought the addled one had come second but no, they reached down to 5th place. In the process they were heartless enough to dismiss Poppy Mai, who polled more than triple the addled one, who was a 16 month old with incurable cancer.

An amazing thing has happened – I have enjoyed a BBC documentary. It was “Lucy Worsley: Mozart’s London Odyssey” in which Lucy Worsley traces the forgotten and fascinating story of the young Mozart’s adventures in Georgian London. Arriving in 1764 as an eight-year-old boy, London held the promise of unrivalled musical opportunity.

Apart from the fact that Worsley relates almost everything to herself, which is a problem with almost every modern documentary, I thought it was very good with no obvious BBC agenda apart from one small dig at the lack of recognition given to Nannerl, Mozart’s sister, although it was probably a valid point when applied to her talent as a performer.

On a lighter note, his father, Leopold, used a wonderful phrase in defending his son against attacks which cast doubt on Wolfgang’s age: …. they assert it is not the Performance of a Child – a Child Eight Years of Age, but of a Man – a Man reduced by some Defect of Nature to an Insignificancy of Person …..

An Insignificancy of Person – Tim Farron described perfectly in three words.

sorry if this is a double post, had probs this morning with internet.

Since the murderous attack in Germany, the BBC has been very busy dragging on experts to explain why Muslims might drive lorries into crowds of people or hurl hand grenades into an audience of youngsters at a rock concert.

Oddly ALL the experts agree with the BBC’s view and ALL are so correct they never have their views challenged.

    So …

Muslims only butcher innocent people because they cannot get jobs. Odd, just about all the 9/11 and 7/7 terrorists were in reasonably well paid, middle class jobs.

Muslims only butcher innocent people because of the colonial legacy of countries like France and the UK. Odd, how does that explain the terrorism in Australia or Thailand, two countries who have never had colonies?

Muslims only butcher innocent people because they have been radicalised on the internet. Odd, just about everyone in the western world can access the internet and manages to get through the day without beheading priests. Do those Muslims from North Pakistan, who tortured children to death in their schools in the South of Pakistan, have access to the internet?

Muslims only butcher innocent people because they are divided from the societies they enter. Odd, Muslims murder innocents in Muslim countries such as Pakistan or Egypt.

So, having shared their own Polytechnic, Marxist nonsense even the BBC must be feeling there is another reason. If only the BBC could see the connection between all the Muslim attacks. Shame they cannot find a single expert to help them peer over the top of the Guardian and see why, in this instance, hideously white, racist, ill-educated westerners might not be to blame for their own brutal murders.

BBC News – As news filters through we find that Milan police got the Islamic Berlin Mass Murderer, through a routine stop, not from German Intel, or heightened security, in fact Europe’s open borders helped him evade the authorities for 4 days
If we cut the crap … they got lucky.

GERMANY SEX ATTACKS: Syrian refugee says women are to BLAME for horror German migrant sex attacks. A Syrian refugee has said women are to blame for the sickening migrant sex attacks that rocked Germany over last year’s New Year’s Eve celebrations.
GERMANY SEX ATTACKS: “Arrogant asylum seeker DEPORTED after BOASTING about his crimes on TV Arrogant asylum seeker who boasted about his criminal lifestyle on TV has been deported after he was identified by a woman he had sexually assaulted over New Year. After the victim’s complaint, the migrant’s status as a criminal was upgraded from being a petty pickpocket and violent thug to being a sex attacker, making him eligible for deportation”.
    and almost beyond belief
“Muslims ‘ordered to leave a German Christmas market after setting-up Islamic information stalls’ Muslims who set up information stands at a Christmas market have been asked to shut it down after worried locals concerned about security complained to the town hall”.

THIS! … is what you get if you do not immediately come down hard, on a political entity that is continually threatening/damaging your communities.
A precedent has been set, ignoring all the threats/attacks, all the evidence, that they are “poor me” refugees.
So now they are emboldened, they follow a supremacist ideology that thrives on weakness … no apologies cowardice. So they will continue.

    Oh well!, Christmas is coming,
and so … is New Years Eve

The killer was not a good moslem; he drunk alcohol and did other sins for which unforgiving Allah the akibar would send him to hell. But he has one chance of getting a ticket to heaven; die fighting for Allah the akibar. So he pops in to a mosque, clears it with Allah and goes off to get killed. It’s errant moslems who do a last minute turn around who are dangerous. For them radicalisation is merely an awareness that hell awaits sinners who are not prepared to die for Allah. This explains their complete lack of compassion regarding the victims.

This year it”s taken the BBC a long time to report on the propaganda churned out each Yuletide by Crisis at Christmas. But finally this lunchtime they have churned a report out by the hapless social affairs correspondent Michael Buchanan, whose dirge-like Scittish accent would grace any funeral service . Crisis finds that 7 per cent of homeless people are urinated upon. Well, for the last 30 years , as police refuse to arrest drunks and drunkeness in public has become the new normal, I’ve noticed that drunken revellers in towns and cities relieve themselves in doorways . Homeless people in towns and cities doss down in doorways as darkness descends. Ergo they get urinated upon . Great work by Crisis at Christmas. But surely there’s some connection to Brexit?

    • GCooper says:

As with so many of the ‘charities’ the BBC relies on so that it no longer has to look for real news, one can’t help wondering what would happen if there really was no ‘crisis at Christmas’. Would this organisation disband if that happened? Or would it keep on finding crisis, after crisis, after imaginary crisis?

    Channel 4’s Alternative message
As pointed out above at 6:25am & by Grant at 8:48am Brendan Cox is the voice.
    Text here in Yorksire Post

In which he calls for an end to the “rise of hatred”.
Brendan Cox will pay tribute to his wife and touch on the “awful year for our family”

he will also tell viewers that now is the “moment to reach out to somebody that might disagree with us”.
(only 5 mins since he was reaching out to sneer at Forage)

stabbed to death by neo-Nazi Thomas Mair (mudslinging PR trick words used to FRAME reporting/talk)

2016 has been an awful year for our family, and it’s been a divisive one for the wider world.”
(no Brexiteers and Trump supporters found a voice, whereas Leftmob seeded anger and division)

He will say that “fascism*, xenophobia**, extremism and terrorism” had made the world “divided” and feel “threatened”
(* apart from the odd mental guy, it is Leftmob who are the largest source if fascist behaviour these days … starting by smearing people who intereact with lots off foreign things but challenge Leftmob dogma as ** “Xenophobic”

and that “these trends could threaten the fundamental freedoms, and democracy that our grandparents fought for”.
(Exactly Ctrl-Lefts hate and anger has already led to erosions of freedoms like freedom of speech and free-thought as tweeters are arrested and Twitter and Facebook accounts SHADOW BLOCKED or deleted and media dare not go against Leftmob narrative)

But he will add: “That isn’t how it has to be.
“Just as it has become apparent that tolerance and tolerant societies are only as strong as their defenders – there is nothing inevitable about the rise of hatred.
(Leftmob are the ones full of hate and intolerance)

Instead of being a turning point for the worse, 2016 could be a wake-up call that brings us back together.”
(Leftmob have become a dangerous oppressive cult with no sign of reform)

Mr Cox will say that his wife quoted the philosopher Edmund Burke, who said that all that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men and women “to do nothing”, just a few weeks before she died.
Her widower will say “that has never been more true”.
(It would be a start if evil didn’t do evil in the first place)

The need to defend tolerance and fair play “isn’t someone else’s problem,” he will add.

(Hangon Leftmob media put out a constant stream of malicious misinformation then Leftmob people like Brendan don’t call it out. No they repeat and retweet it and turn it into INTIMIDATION)

I hope Steve Hilton does well in his new role as commentator for Fox News. However, in this piece he is still to some extent ‘spinning’ for David Cameron. He tires to absolve him in respect of his immigration policy, but avoids mentioning Cameron’s criminally stupid war in Libya, and the fact that there were no real controls on extra-EU immigration in the whole his premiership.

Seem to recall Libya was Cameron’s ‘Merkel Moment’ where vanity got the better of newly-elected Dave.

Obama was needing some publicity to get re-elected. He started making noises about Gaddafi and military action. Dave got into a macho bidding war with Sarkozy as to who could throw the most military assets at Libya and get the job done without any short, let alone medium-term or long-term, commitment. If I recall correctly Sarkozy also was facing an Election from a less than strong position. Two weak, vulnerable leaders needing a ‘Thatcher Falklands’ boost plus a noobie?

Hilton must have been advising noobie Cameron at that point. I wonder what was said.

Cameron sure got suckered into that one and the Libyans have been paying for it ever since. George Osborne’s recent pop-up appearance in the House of Commons has prompted various commentators in my eye-line to observe that GO left, leaving the UK’s borrowing in a worse state than when he had assumed control in 2010.

That little Libyan adventure accounted for some of that, so I guess we will also be joining the Libyans in paying for it but not with our infrastructure, our social fabric, our blood and lives as they, sadly, do.

If this was the socialist republic of Britain the copper would of course not have been armed and both would have been shot dead. When the armed Police unit arrived 30 – 60 minutes later he would have been gone.

By the time they did apprehend him and apologise for being so Islamofauxbik if one of them had shot him dead he would be suspended and the Police Complaints Authority investigating.
The loony left brigade aided & abetted by the BBC would be screaming that it was an illegal assassination, and hundreds of weaselly ‘uman rights lawyers would be queuing up to sue the officer, Police, and the government.
