That Big Shining Lie

Islamic terrorism, radicalisation, extremism?  Nothing to do with Islam.  All to do with Western foreign policy and domestic issues such as Islamophobia, discrimination, marginalisation, joblessness, alienation and disaffection within the Muslim community.

Newsnight should know better as it uses a Muslim journalist to tell us her thoughts on why people join ISIS.  Funnily enough she tells us it has nothing to do with her religion, it is all to do with Western foreign policy and our society’s failure to make Muslims feel welcome.

Newsnight does not ask what it is about Western society that Muslims find difficulty in coping with…but it clearly insinuated that it is our, the non-Muslims’, fault.  So why does ‘foreign policy’ so upset Muslims?….Newsnight doesn’t ask because to do so would show that this radicalisation is based upon Muslim ‘racism’ and supremacy…ie Western countries are non-Muslim therefore Islam and Muslims are under attack if those Western countries intervene in ‘Muslim’ countries….Muslims are obliged by their religion to defend Islam…thus they are doing their religious duty by joining ISIS….thus it has all to do with Religion and ‘racism’ of Muslims who identify first as Muslim and, maybe, only later as ‘British’.   Their loyalty is to Islam…no wonder Newsnight avoids the issue.

Once again the BBC blames the West for what is a ‘Muslim’ issue created by a religious ideology that, as Mohammed said, wants to see Islam reign supreme.  Politicians and Media need to start waking up to that fact and that there are people out there who fully intend for that to happen whether by force of arms or force of demographics.

The bBC explains why Ahmed and Abdulla took the day off work in which to murder death kill in Glasgow:
The day terror came to Glasgow Airport
Ten years ago, a terror attack aiming to kill hundreds of innocent holidaymakers failed because of a concrete door post and the actions of ordinary people who were at Glasgow Airport that day….Abdulla admitted in court that he was “a terrorist” as defined by English law. He went on to say he believed the British government and Army could equally be accused of terrorism for their actions in Iraq. But he added he had wanted to frighten people rather than murder them.

The bbC, the propaganda arm of radical Islam.

Isn’t it strange that Sikhs, Hindus and Buddhists, who broadly originate from the same part of the world don’t seem to suffer the same problems.

it would appear the average brit is so sophisticated they can tell the difference between indians and pakistanis just by sight, our refined selective racism really is a truly amazing ability

Please explain. Your comment would appear to be a non sequitur.

I made that mistake once, i was dealing with Indian in Blackpool years ago, he had 6 sports shops there.
I bought of him wholesale for my shop on the island, anyway i didnt know an indian from a pakistani sikh etc because we didnt have any here going around in full headgear, and very few without.

I refered to him one day as Pakistani……….”no no no no Pakistani bad man, Im indian” ….
Oh right sorry Armajit………………. ”no no Pakistani bad man” then pulls out a wad of bounced cheques…………”see see bad men””……………….. i liked him.

A good big turban sort of gives away a Sikh fellow. ( I always wish I could see their hair down). But I understand it isn’t absolutely required to follow the faith. Anyone who knows better feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

    • Lucy Pevensey says:

True, there would be Hindus blowing themselves up & knifing people all over the world if the excuse for terror attacks was merely poverty & persecution.

Hindi suicide bomber? Almost sounds like a comedy sketch doesn’t it? Because it doesn’t happen.
Jewish suicide bomber? (I’m trying to imagine a Hasidic man with canisters strapped to his chest)
Zoroastrian man drives lorry into Christmas market? Wot?

No. Jihad is an Islamic principle. And Islam is practised by Muslims.

    • Amounderness Lad says:

They don’t create the same problems as Muslim jihadists but they certainly suffer from attacks on them by Muslim jihadists. Strangely enough I never knew they were part of Western Society or that the countries where they mainly live had any foreign policies directed against the Muslim Middle East or any other Muslim countries for that matter.

The jihadists are also prone to carrying out attacks on Muslim countries who they consider are not “Muslim enough” or who happen to follow a different branch of the faith. Perhaps the bBBC would like to explain which part of our foreign policy or our culture caused the murder of Asad Shah, who followed the Ahmadi branch of Islam, by Tanveer Ahmed, a Sunni Muslim, because, he claimed, he felt disrespected by Shah for not following the correct branch of Islam.

Strange how that particular bit of Muslim Terrorism now never gets mentioned by the bBBC, presumably because it doesn’t comply with the bBBC’s propaganda version of the reason for the acts of terrorism carried out by Muslims.

Let us all stop funding UK terrorism! It would seem Khalid Masood (Westminster Attack 22.03.2017 5 Innocents Killed) was on benefits which comes out of National Insurance payments by the workers of the UK. Thus, it would seem prior to these findings the workers in the UK were unknowingly funding terrorism. But now we know terrorists operate using welfare benefits it would seem we are knowingly paying terrorists.
Can I suggest that the Government please make sure NI payments by UK workers don’t go into the hands of terrorists by removing the terrorists in the first place. Can you also calculate how much we have/are funded terrorism via welfare benefits by simply getting all known terrorists (left, right, islamic) arrested to-date and those on the watch list and check welfare payments made to them or their immediate family (under various names possibly).

Another example is where imams preaching intolerance such as Anjem Choudary (preached hate 1999-2016) to his hundreds of worshippers (5 times a day, everyday), can all imams be checked if they are on welfare benefits, paid by UK workers, and these payments be stopped immediately. It is the community that needs to fund the imams if they want religious teachings, similar to how the Church of England was funded with donations in the past.

The father-of-four (Anjem Choudary preaching hate 1999-2016) takes home more than £25,000 a year in benefits and lives in a £320,000 house in Leytonstone

…and don’t you worry. It’s coming to a place near you…we cannot have state subsidized preachers…give it up or give it to your deadliest enemy and pay for the rope that will choke you.

  4. Doublethinker says:

We are faced with a choice. We can either take a path which offers few if any benefits but does entail great cost and even greater risk, or we can refuse to take that path. Of course refusal to take the path also entails some risk. Any rational person would choose the latter not the former option. So Why are millions of Europeans choosing the former option? It isn’t that most of them believe that there are real benefits , nor that there aren’t great risks, in doing so, despite the media lies they can see for themselves. Rather I think they are just scared of being collectively labelled racists and also of the consequences of refusing to go down the path and risk the inevitable confrontation.
My view is that it isn’t racist to protect your way of life from those who pose a threat to it and the longer you leave the decision to refuse to take the path the more difficult it will be to stay where you already are. There are no easy choices unless you believe that being in a minority in what was once your own country but is now populated by people who have very different values from your own, will turn out well for you and yours. It will be the first time in the history of the world that it has. Alternatively Perhaps people believe that the tooth fairy will come and magic all unpleasantness away and we all lived happily ever after.

    • Roland Deschain says:

I doubt I’m the only one who has conversations with friends and family where the question of immigration, and Muslims in particular (though often implied rather than said) is tentatively raised. And generally you find that most are concerned with immigration and can see the ticking demographic timebomb.

But vote for the one party that has said it would do something about it, when the LibLabCon have clearly shown they have no intention of doing a damn thing? No, that Farage is a f***ing racist, as is his party.

You find that most people are conditioned to act in a Pavlovian fashion to any hint of anything that might be construed as “racist” and wanting to disassociate themselves from it, even where it flies in the face of what they think. The BBC has to take a large share of blame (or, as they would call it, credit) for that.

  5. Zelazek says:

Doublethinker – I agree with you. You’ve put your finger on what is wrong with our thinking. We are utterly narcissistic, completely focussed on our own feelings and attitudes which we ludicrously think must be the ultimate source of all the world’s problems. White racism is the only real danger, the only real crime. Whenever there is an Islamic terrorist outrage, the media gives the impression that an apocalyptic white racist backlash is what we really have to fear, so let’s curtail our language and try to prevent that happening. This obsession with white racism stops people from understanding what is really going on in our society.

The roots of Islamic terrorism lie in Islam, not British foreign policy. The only way for a Muslim to be certain of entering Paradise is for him to die killing infidels. Even “good” Muslims who lead blameless lives do not have this assurance from Allah. So jihad and the way of the suicide bomber come to have an appeal for a particular type of Muslim – the young man who has spent his time drinking and partying but suddenly finds the brainwashing he received in childhood kicking in and he has a religious crisis or is radicalised. The one and only way such a man is going to escape hell and get into Paradise is by slaughtering infidels. So he goes out and does it. This is why, after many terrorist incidents, the family and neighbours of the perpetrator will claim that he wasn’t a true Muslim. The thing, though, is that he was – he took seriously what it says in the Koran.

BBC Removes Inflammatory Statement on Holocaust and Muslims

And that’s only after the MCB complained.

    • Kaiser says:

shhhhhh keep it secret ….. muslims are anti-semitic shhhhhhh

    • MarkyMark says:

Got my reservations about MCB. Almost like JC (the other one named Corbyn) if you listen he will only attack /mention the victim’s problems, not raise the concerns about how the victim (Nation/group) is behaving.
Not producing a very balanced view of the world and taking criticism/debate off the table.

MCB Site: A Massacre of Children: An Ummah in Shock – Muslim Council of Britain Condemns Peshawar Killings (135 children were killed in an attack in Pakistan/No time date given)

This sounds nice and fluffy in the article by Dr Shuja Shafi (MCB Member) Q5:32 …
“…Whosoever kills a human being, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind..” Q5:32

But don’t stop there! Because if you carry on to read Q5:33…
“The only reward of those who make war upon Allah (does that include ignoring him?) and His messenger (does that include drawing him?) and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land (other options include just laughing at them or debating them). Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom; ” Q5:33

The reason this is so worrying is that it gets thrown around quite a lot to defend the Koran … but we/they forget to turn the page and have that other awkward discussion after Q5:32 …

      • Lucy Pevensey says:

        Just a point of interest.
“…Whosoever kills a human being, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind..” Q5:32
This Koranic verse was plagiarised from The Talmud.

“Whoever destroys a soul, it is considered as if he destroyed an entire world. And whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved an entire world.
Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5; Yerushalmi Talmud 4:9, Babylonian Talmud Sanhedrin 37a.

The Talmud predates Mein Koranf by [roughly] a couple of hundred years.

        • MarkyMark says:

Lucy, I’ve read that on and Wikiislam, but I think it’s important not to add too much information in these posts or you end up creating conflicts between religions, rather than ideas, I was trying to focus on the words and moral implications here. The fact that you either take it all or nothing, Q5:32 does not exist in isolation and with Q5:33 being so close and implying …

“The Queen had only one way of settling all difficulties, great or small. ‘Off with his head!’ she said, without even looking round.

p.s. only just realised that connection with Alice in Wonderland. Thanks!

That video of Hitchin’s nails it Marky.

Most of them are childless DT, they have no stake in the future, and want no stake in the future.
The famous ones like Merkel are philosophically driven, they risk our investments in the future to be remembered with statues as the great architect’s of a 4th Reich like Europe, a real world 1984.

They cannot take a backward step, in their regression by progression.

  8. Bill Bobbs says:

A few days ago Lugman Aslam was jailed for driving his van at a group of men on a pavement with the obvious intent to murder. Somewhat surprisingly though he wasn’t charged with murder.

He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and attempting to inflict intentional grievous bodily harm and got 2 and a half years.

Okay, the sentence actually passed by the judge was 5 years but thanks to one of Tony Blair’s justice reforms that means a maximum of two and a half years in jail.

Also a few days ago Darren Osborne drove a van into a group of people on a pavement outside a mosque. Once again his intent was clearly to murder.

But unlike the first case this one merited:

    • a press conference on the doorstep of No. 10

    • a national minute’s silence

    • wall to wall media coverage

    • national soul searching

    • and renewed calls for strict censorship of right-wing hate mongers (i.e., anyone who thinks there’s a problem with Islam)

    • and unlike the first case this man has been charged with terrorism related murder and attempted murder and will no doubt be jailed for life.

That’s from a good piece comparing the two cases:
