On BBC sport they say a Chelsea player has apologised solemnly for using racist language on social media. Do they have a whole team of thought police checking social media and elsewhere for any thought crime? What a fantastic use of their resources. Honestly, who cares if a footballer said something insensitive about Chinese people?
They certainly love reporting on these cases. I imagine it is a bad day at the office for any Beeb journalist if they have no hate crime to wag their finger at. Soon nobody will ever say anything ever – wouldn’t that be progressive?
Since the referendum there hasn’t been a single programme outlining what the benefits to the U.K. will be as a consequence of our leaving the EU, that in itself should have brought into question the partiality of Al beebus as regards the Brexit result; it is an outrage that this, hugely influential, publicly funded broadcaster has been permitted to behave in such a manner and appalling that HM Government hasn’t acted to address this.

“it is an outrage that this, hugely influential, publicly funded broadcaster has been permitted to behave in such a manner and appalling that HM Government hasn’t acted to address this.”
Answer? – Collusion.
The establishment have clearly closed ranks to try and get the result they want; it has worked with so many things in the past.
Wouldn’t it be nice if our national broadcaster could get behind the people? Imagine they did their logo in red white and blue, along with a quotation from Richard II: ‘This royal throne of kings, this sceptyr’d isle.’ Imagine if they ritually humiliated anyone who talked down Brexit as we all know how great the British spirit is, for we have been on our own before and boy did we achieve some wonderful things back then? If they can run with the preposterous idea that all cultures are equal, including that really equal one, couldn’t they easily get behind Brexit? The people who pay our wages have spoken – let us nobly rally to their cause?
I gather a group of highly paid women who work for the BBC want shed loads more money.
Maybe what they really need is to get themselves better agents, since they don’t exactly have pay scales with increments to compare with their male counterparts. Did they not accept th contracts put in front of them? Why did they not reject them if they felt the pay was too low?
Great to see Corbyn demanding these women on telephone number salaries get massive pay rises. Hypocrisy just doesn’t cover it.

“The only way to decide this is to put the BBC into the private sector .”
But who will buy it when its wage bill will rise dramatically very shortly ?
Personally I couldn’t give a monkeys whether they are paid less or not, there’s a bigger issue to comment on, the fact that both men and women earn obscene amounts, and yet fighting like ferrets in a sack to get even more. How can any of us watch people like Sue Barker, Huw Edwards and Claudia Winkleman, without thinking “and they’re earning HOW much for reading an autocue or acting the idiot on Strictly ?” I’m hoping the shine has rubbed off these ‘slebs’ and contempt is now what we feel for them.
BRISSLES
There is a shortage of doctors, nurses, engineers, plumbers , electricians etc etc in this country but there’s an abundance of people with ‘meeja’ degrees. Are the news and television presenters in such a short supply that they can demand obscenely high wages? If they are so good let them go and find jobs in the private sector.
What joy on Radio 4 this evening, some women babbling on about now that she can afford expensive food she must have been raped rather than having a ‘bad experience’. I wonder how many years she is going to milk that story? I gather there is something called rape comedy, which men shouldn’t do, so I guess she is looking for a career. I go looking for something else, like Elgar on Radio 3.
Back to Radio 4 for Feedback where the big story is not the pay gap between BBC wages and normality but Jeremy Vine and Jane Garvey. Jane dear, you only speak to half the listenership so you only ‘deserve’ half the money. Actually you would best keep your mouth shut before the plebs that pay your wages get out the tumbrils.
More wisdom from the BBC, their ‘bias’ is, naturally, our fault. When there is ‘change’ the BBC has a duty to challenge it, i.e. Brexit. I don’t recall the challenge to overturning the definition of marriage or the replacement of the aboriginal people. I expect in their eyes there is ‘progressive’ and ‘regressive’ change, only one of which needs the scrutiny.
Later on we have Analysis when some idiot is given free range to spout his theory that ‘liberal democracy’ is under threat. ‘Obviously’ he knows these things because of the experience of his family moving around Europe and interfering in local politics. Just because his family moved around doesn’t mean that he personally has learnt anything.
As might be expected the threat is demonstrated by Mrs Le Pen and The Donald, (what a surprise). Unfortunately he is a bit poor on the basics, ‘democracy’ has its roots in the ‘demos’, the people. Those strange democratic European countries with their monoethnic populations might just have some common indentity that allows them to work together. We can agree to disagree over the colour of street lighting but it gets a bit more difficult if the argument is bikini or ‘bin bag’. At least he admits that ‘they’ are engaged in an untested social experiment but forgets to say that ‘we’ the ‘demos’ weren’t included in the discussion.
Methinks democracy, ‘liberal’ or otherwise died a long time ago. This creep is just bleating because the post-modernist tide has had a little set-back. I waited in vain for the BBC to challenge the changes that he wanted to make.
Charlie, you beat me to it (see below). Funny how a few of us know straight away as soon as we hear BBC reports pulling off the coup of actually hiding news from the Licence Paying audience.
‘A MAN has been charged with the kidnap, rape and murder of a 19-year-old woman. The Metropolitan Police said the 33-year-old had also been charged with the rape, attempted murder and kidnap of a woman in her 20s. Another MAN, 28, has been charged with the kidnap of both women. … The two MEN, who have not been named by police, will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Monday.’
‘A 19-year-old girl was murdered by her uncle in south west London, before he chopped up her body and put it in a freezer, a neighbour has claimed….A neighbour, who did not wish to be named, said: ‘Relatives told me that the stepdad was Asian and was caught at Dover trying to leave the country….He kidnapped them both and chopped one of them up and put her in the freezer… He slit the other one’s throat… A family friend of the owners told The Sun: ‘The girls had got mixed up with a gang of guys. One wanted to marry one of the boys and her Pakistani family couldn’t take that.’
Thank you print press for giving us the news while both the BBC tv and on-line news are hiding nine tenths of the story with a smoke screen of ‘MEN’ clearly anxious to blur the all important cultural crux of the story.
I watched the late national news and the Londonistan Programme fronted by Clive Myrie and Asad Ahmadd
and sussed out that the answer to the wage structure problems at the BBC is easy to sort out. Just give ALL
the presenting , reporting , researching and administrative jobs at the BBC to women and the ethnic community.
The positive discrimination and diversity department are well structured to achieve this.

Oh look, a ‘Man’ has been charged with “kidnap, rape and murder of teenager” according to the beebistan.
You could read their deceptive ‘article’ and not have a clue what it’s about.
But then look at the Standard: “Man charged with murder, rape and kidnap after ‘HONOUR KILLING’ in south London suburb”.
Honour killing, eh? Now, who does ‘honour killings’? Oh, I see why the evil beeb left that bit out.
