Don’t expect the BBC to tell you this but irresponsible sex-mad young men will be absolutely delighted with this news:

‘Boots has said it is “truly sorry” for its response to calls to cut the cost of one of its morning-after pills.

The pharmaceutical company was criticised after telling the British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) it was avoiding “incentivising inappropriate use”.

How dare Boots allude to the actual truth of the matter!!

Meanwhile, ladies, can’t you just hear the raucous cheers going up from chaps everywhere? Come on luv, how about a one night stand, where’s the harm? Blimey, I’ve bought you a drink and even stood you the tenner for your morning after pill!

I`m sick of this endless grinding down of businesses into lefty or green compliance in the face of a few twitter types.
Boots are as gutless as it goes.
Heard one Labour lefty say that Boots have no moral right to stop women getting cheap drugs. Even if their competitors sell them. This is nuts.
As for “moral rights to buy what you like”? Does that go for drain cleaner, acid, guns, knives, cigarettes as well then? Let alone the lefts OWN choice of drugs?
      Mad-literally mad.

Maybe the bbc should be sorted out? Surely the bbc are public service workers, public employees albeit of a very elevated and privileged kind? But just how do they differ from sewerage workers or road sweepers? As job creation scheme they are very expensive and inefficient and as for providing a public service?
While our Health and Social Care Services are such a par less state, should we continue to be FORCED to fund a bbc?
Take it back to the level it was at originally and maybe up to the sixties i.e.: factual brief news, a little ‘education’ and some music. The comedy and drama from past, when it was good, could still be put out – all the agenda pushing crap of today should be scrapped.

Pakistan’s government has closed a loophole (only now in 2016! Why did it take so long?) allowing those behind so-called honour killings to go free. New legislation means killers will get a mandatory life sentence. …
In rape cases, the parliament has for the first time introduced a provision allowing DNA tests to ascertain identity of the offender. Experts believe this will effectively cover up for the weakness in the previous legislation that relied heavily on circumstantial evidence. (this in 2016! What does Sadiq Khan think of all this?)

Article page headline : “First class could be cut on busy trains, says Grayling”
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-40690621

And the reason the article is biased is that there is absolutely no mention of the cause of the overcrowding that results in the need to remove First Class segregation from commuter trains. Just like there is never any mention of the cause of the housing crisis in BBC articles. These things just happen, apparently. No cause. Certainly not one the biased-BBC is ever going to mention anyway.

News bulletins on 5live lead with BBC female employees writing to director general about being paid more, followed someone saying it is not on that nurses looking after Charlie Gard have been spoken to harshly by certain members of the public. How is this news? Some rich people want to be richer and some people have been called names.

They actually have a ‘reality check’ function on their website! They take themselves so seriously, leading the fight against fake news. Reality check;: none of this is ‘news.’ It did actually happen, so it is not strictly fake, but it is of no concern whatsoever to, for example, a factory worker in Rotherham. You can see why they hate Trump: they would rather not address any of the stuff which actually matters to people. How dare he mention Muslim immigration, even though it is people’s number one concern. The elites would rather sneer smugly from their snug bubble about gender and ‘diversity’ and never have to deal with the real issues people face, even though these are the struggling and vulnerable people who pay their wages and have been so betrayed by the elites.

As for Trump considering pardoning himself over the Russia stuff, that is absolutely hilarious. That could be the greatest wind up of all, to just pardon himself at the end after they had kicked up all this fuss. The Beeb push this idea of a ‘bunker mentality’ regarding the Russia stuff, which is all they have reported on for so long. He probably just does not care – collusion is not even a criminal offence. If he was just planning to pardon himself all along then clearly the Beeb have been running with a fake news story for months.

The spirit of David Cameron lives again – remember he enjoyed nothing better than a good write up from the Guardian/BBC

One has to wonder what our present so-called Conservative government is planning to ‘conserve’ ?

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-40692782

‘The UK government is considering plans to make the process of changing legal gender easier’

The quotes from ‘Equalities Minister’ Justine Greening in the on-line BBC report are carefully chosen but in a tv interview she lets slip this statement: “we want the process to be less medically driven”

Meanwhile BBC news gleefully reports that medical authorities are delivering good news to celebate gay men and unemployed prostitutes who want to give blood.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-40669950

‘Blood donation rules for sex workers and gay men are being relaxed in England and Scotland after improvements in the accuracy of testing procedures. Men who have sex with men can now give blood three months after their last sexual activity instead of 12. And sex workers, who were previously barred from donating, now can, subject to the same three-month rule.’

These two initiatives tell us an awful lot about the power of the liberal media and the lengths to which politicians and civil servants will go in order to pander to leftist opinion.

    • AsISeeIt says:

Think about the likely number of people directly benefiting from these two pointless liberal initiatives. Could there be 100 trans-genders and 100 lonely gays and out-of-work tarts eager to give blood? 1000? It’s virtue-signalling nonsense. And the impact for our wider society? The unforseen consequences? Who cares when the BBC will be sure to give you a boost at the weekend?

Rather than not discriminating against women or minorities, how about not discriminating against people who arse not related to you – which is 99.99999999% of people? It just doesn’t sound as good, though, does it? And it must be so inconvenient actually having to apply for jobs. Rod Liddle points out. The Documentary is filmed in Rochdale where he attends a Britain First rally and accuses members of abusing him…….this abuse was actually nothing more than questions shouted at him as to whether he defended rapists.

Sadly, this didn’t stop George Osbourne deciding to mislead the public by printing a misleading headline about this fake news story and tells you all you need to know about the BBC and Evening Standard……..make a documentary pretending to be about the horrific abuse suffered by white English girls at the hands of Pakistani, Muslim men, and then present it as if the “far right” are to blame.

So this Sunday , are the BBC aggrieved women going against the Bible ?

The parable of the workers in the vineyard – Matthew 20: 1-16 .

To summarise a householder pays workers to toil in his fields . He agrees a day rate of a denarius to the ones who start at 6am . But he also pays the same to those who work only the last hour of the day . The 6am lot grumble about this but he points out they were happy at the beginning of the day with the rate agreed , why be miserable because some others got lucky ?

So I look forward to this discussed on the God Slot on Al Beeb today . In the financial programmes they can explain where the extra money will come from . In Moneybox they can explain how to open an account in a tax haven to do business with the BBC .

In File On Four , Analysis and Cause For Concern they can do the lack of diversity on Al Beeb , ie ; no poor people work there .

At 7am I flicked thru 5 stations and each one led the news with BBC womens pay issue including the 2 local stations aswell as 2,3,4 then Talk Radio LBC also led with it at 7:30am
BBC stations seemed to carry same news at 8am and 9am

“BBC women are underpaid” is a MANUFACTURED narrative cos we only have limited info

The principle is EQUALITY of OPPORTUNITY not about immediately splitting things into gender or skin colour cos that itself is sexist and racist.
If the BBC organised our Olympic team :

I turned on the TV this morning to see a black man on BBC 1. I moved to BBC 2 to see a black man talking about raspberries in Fife. Back to BBC 1 and now there is an Asian woman talking about flights from Manchester airport.

Saturday night had ‘our’ cultural heritage being enacted, (sweetmakers), and appropriated by Asians and Blacks.

Move to the commercial channels and all furniture is now being sold to blacks. IKEA appear to be the latest ‘converts’, using a lion to draw us in, (but shouldn’t it be a gorilla if we are going to do the race stuff?).

I can’t help but feel that if a ‘diversity’ audit was to be carried out on British media that the ‘underepresented’ would be seen to be the ‘whites’.

This highlights the problem with the BBC’s cultural Marxism. It is based on grievances and largely imagined ‘injustices’, in other words on negatives, not on positive improvements to society. The best socialists can manage is vague talk about ‘social justice’, ‘community’ and ‘welfare’ and the logical consequences, even when they arise time and time again, from the gulags to the economic collapses, are glossed over. Even if ‘righting’ a perceived ‘wrong’ causes real harm to people, it is ignored as all that matters is their warped concept of justice. The damage doesn’t matter as long as some minority or principle is appeased.

Your point about feminism is a good example. Manifestly, 1970s style feminism has failed to make either sex happy and has caused real harm to society but because it is based on a notion of ‘injustice’ it cannot be challenged, however much damage it is doing.

        BB,
I have thoughts on that: BBC getting, ‘real’.
I for one, would be happy to pay the licence fee if there was a ‘two-track’ BBC News Service. We, the 13% or so, minor ethnics would opt for the ‘Truth News’ – no holds barred, no ethnic commentators or auto-cue readers and the other 87% of foreigners could opt for the ‘normal’ BBC News, i.e. narrow, distorted and massaged to fit the BBC’s liberal views. How good of you to spot my incorrect reference to percentages – just adopting the BBC approach: in their view we cant get enough of their ethnic programme commentators analysing the ‘British’ news laden with foreign views. Indeed, the BBC, as I understand it, are devoted to intensifying the ethnic content and what for? Well, simply in preparation to the time when we British will actually be in reality the 13% and the rest 87%.

Could they just ignore it? They did not report on certain grooming gangs recently in court. It’s not like Al Beeb does not know how to omit stories when the need arises.

Why can’t people just not commit crime? It is the best way to avoid trouble with the Police. They acted like Duggan was just some poor innocent gangster doing his daily chore of picking up a gun and the evil Police picked on him for no reason. I have a job, worked hard at school and obey the law, therefore I never have any problems with the Police. Is that really so f**king hard?

Talk to any birth white UK resident and their main grievance will be the migrants who live here. SJWs define equality as sameness when in the Biblical sense it meant everyone is worthy of the same love and respect. Men and women have qualities which complement each other – they are not meant to be the same. A few bitter feminists cannot undo millions of years of evolution; it is only for the past 50 years or so that men and women were not expected to and did perform entirely different roles in society.

Women are not attracted to wussy men. Men want a woman to be feminine and look after them; and despite all this ‘body positivity’ crap men will not be attracted to a bloater and single women are often desperately unhappy. They want girls playing football. Who would not be freaked out if their date asked for a kick around after dinner? It has never ever happened to me.The whole system has served our species pretty well up until now. Why is it cool or ‘progressive’ to fight reality, which is so often what these SJWs do?

You don’t get harmony if everyone plays the same note. This supposed rainbow utopia the Left are forcing upon us is more like a cacophonous dystopia, with nobody knowing what their role is or who or what they should be.

I watched a report on ITV News the other day, which showed crowds of Frogs booing Froome as he was completing a stage and informing us that the Team Sky coach had things thrown at it; this was passed off as acceptable rivalry.
I couldn’t help wondering whether behaviour by British (or more specifically English) fans which targeted a foreign sportsman of team here in such a fashion, would receive the same soft soap by our MSM or that of the country whose sporting representatives were the target of similar abuse?

      Some telling HYS comments
      e.g.
“Froomy is loved by those that love cycling. Ignore the trolls. Who cares about the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year in comparison to winning real sporting competitions?”

“BBC complicit with not liking him. Should be the top story, not a story about an American golfer.
He is up there with Andy Murray as the UKs greatest sportsman.”

“A British sportsman has just won The TdF for a 4th time and the leading article in the BBC’s sports pages is about a US golfer leading in a tournament that hasn’t even finished! Instead this tripe damns with faint praise one of the greatest sportsmen this country has ever produced. Scandalous as we should be celebrating a legend of cycling.
Go Froome – some of us are immensely proud of you.”

It is stunning – it just kills the bbc to say anything positive about this country. They are truly a miserable, subversive bunch of f*****s. Has anyone noticed or is it just us?

Why do you think they love reporting about the “doping allegations” when Team Sky are in the cross hairs, yet are much more reticent and sympathetic when a certain Somalian runner who lives in the US is facing investigations along similar lines?

Helen Skelton is winning the Worst Performance By A Sports Presenter Ever this evening at the terminally boring swimming World Championships in Hungary.

Mucking about, can’t read the autocue … complete shambles. Perhaps she’s over excited about a pay rise due to the shape of her genitals.

      Educational and informative.

Is there an award for this?
I find all sports terminally boring, but saw a bit of cycling, some golf and thought them as boring as it gets. But horse racing and motor racing are similarly pointless.
Is it the sport that is so boring? Or is it Helen Skelton?
She`d have to be as dull as Alan Shearer to claim her prize.

All day today on all news channels I’ve listened to the mind numbing reports that ‘Transgenders’ can now choose their sex without medical evidence. Am I bothered ? – nope. How many do I know ? – none. Will it affect my life ? – no. Are there any living in my village or areas surrounding ? – not that I know of. Sorry, but has the UK suddenly become the most ‘right-on’ country in the world ? Is this sex subject discussed as much in Europe or the other Continents as we are doing now ? God almighty, I couldn’t give a rat’s arse whether someone wants to have the choice of a dick or a fanny – because honestly ? that IS the only choice, the one we were born with, there are no half measures. I’m sure the percentage of those wanting to be something they weren’t born with is absolutely minute, but to listenening to the rolling news, we could be of the impression that every 5th person wants to be an Arthur and not a Martha. Perhaps I should look more carefully at the person sitting at the till in my Co-op, the name on the tag is Leslie – but which one ??????

Only the Left and the weird could mess this up and drive a nations kids into therapy, the worng loos or the mental health youth service-which is probably the whole point.
Wish that they`d stop pushing this one-we know what the BBC staff are like post-Savile, and their wish to fish our knickers-and snoop into the kids laundry baskets-is frankly creepy. If we all pretend we`ve got dicks then we might get pay rises-is THAT what the BBC are hoping for?

Brissles – probably because the BBC is full of confused wannabee Arthurs and Marthas. I think their absolute obsession with all this bizarre bullshit is because it is all part of their support for individual rights (often at the expense of communities). They probably also see it as another way to help de-stabilise our society so that we question the norms and standards that have kept our society stable for decades. . Where people instead of just “getting on with it” become obsessed with the self and spend too much time navel gazing and questioning, rather than just getting on with life.

I do actually believe that there are a very few people where genetic imbalances may well genuinely place them firmly in the “not sure” category and I have no real problem with surgical interventions in these cases. But the BBCs obsession with all things (sexual) means that they are unable to just let people get on with it and like a teenage lad with his first porn mag they cannot just cant get enough of it and leave it alone.

I think there is also another less obvious reason why they broadcast all this crap. I think that more irrelevant “white noise” stories that the BBC covers, the less attention that is given by the public to the really important ones such as immigration figures to the UK or the recent Hammond fueled brexit cave in over extended EU residents access to the UK (because apparently business needs it). Real news often just fades into the background as people just mentally switch off.

The gender thing seems to be reaching fever pitch. Quite why all of a sudden is a real mystery but for some perverse reason the bbc is just loving it. I mean it’s not as though there are any other World problems that require attention and resources is it?

Oaky, totally agree with everything you say. Certainly no-one wants to return to the days when such things were swept under the carpet, prosecutions brought for sexual preferences, and single pregnant women were sent to ‘mother and baby homes’ ; however, we’ve reached the stage where ‘bringing it out in the open’ is not good enough anymore, we have to endure having it rammed down our throats as well (joke there somewhere), with no thought for dignity or decency. And can anyone tell me what the Gay Pride rallies are all about ? why are they necessary ? the LGBT are singling themselves out in one respect with their ‘look at me’ attitude, yet want to become the norm and accepted as part of ‘normal’ society, – or do they ?

Brissles – Pride seems to be about “militant exhibitionism” and very little else. What better chance to strut your stuff in your suspenders and crotchless jeans in London, and not get arrested. Says all that we need to know about the BBC – that they cant get enough of it.

Throughout my life I have personally known a few gays, (one of them was a very good mate) – and yet again they couldnt get there head around all this rubbish either.

I have never met anyone transgender and I am the most sociable person imaginable – I have met hundreds and hundreds of people. Why are they obsessed with an issue which affects such a tiny, tiny number of people? I guess they get full virtue points without having to actually do anything. It shows how insular they are to keep banging on about this even though it is of no interest or concern to 99.9% of people.

BB – I think the BBC loves to virtue signal and celebrate “diversity” which at its best is irrelevant to normal people and at its worst is downright destructive to our society. It is a reflection of this organisation which has a perverted and decadent outlook on anything which flies in the face of normality.

Unfortunately because its funding is not directly related to the popularity of its programmes it can indulge every little unwholesome/deviant peccadillo its overpaid and decadent editors and producers wish indulge themselves with. It is not surprising that Jimmy Saville was one of the BBC s top “talent”for years the only thing that surprises me is that there is not more of them.

Here we go again on the BBC gravy train
    Countryfile.
Yes they’ve shipped a whole team out to Alaska to film brown bears.
Really relevant in these times of brexit and farming subsidies.
Not that I have got anything against brown bears, but over the years I have seen them on virtually every documentary that the BBC has put out for the last fifty years. I feel I personally know every last one of them.
Perhaps it’s for the yoof of today who don’t realise that outside their bedroom there is a world out there beyond Facebook and instagram

I also expect them to find a glacier that has receded by about 1000 miles to prove global warming.

As if life isn`t hard enough for these vulnerable bears? They have to share their ice with a BBC helicopter landing, leaving its oil all over the place whilst the BBC greenies add salt tears to their drinking water as they bemoan the rest of us back home for driving to grannys.
Doesn`t Attenborough have enough stock footage where he fakes his encounter with the bears in Chester Zoo or such?
Those poor bears-by the time the BBC have stuck those cameras and tracking devices on them, they`ll be dead or unable to creep up on their prey.
Then the BBC will be abck again to say that climate change is wiping them out.
As opposed to the oil slicks, helipcopters, tracking devices and endless Papa John pizza boxes c/o we mugs back here.

Not simply global warming davylars. The exceptional levels of methane production due to the brown bears’ almost exclusive high protein salmon diet will melt a 3m thick ice-sheet in close to 28 minutes – using the Harrabin-Monbiot scale.

What about the transgender brown bears?
Do they lift the log up first before they go – or do they sit on it?
Maybe the BBC should send another film crew to investigate this delicate matter!

And therein lies hope and salvation. Ultimately, social engineering cannot compete against nature or the traditions and social customs we derive from it. They tried that in the Soviet Union and at huge human cost, thought they had everything redefined and under complete control, with no possibility of escape. And it all collapsed in a heap and human nature, with its need for normality, tradition, family and religion kicked back in, starting within a matter of months.

Tomorrow’s BBC TV Tax review … Day 6 … TV Tax Payers request how long these inflated wages have been paid – last 20 years (Forget Women’s Pay Parity … don’t they mean equality …

Watching BBC News ,now, Jane Garvey R4 – she wants pay parity … does this mean as much as the other people? What is her wage – she does not say?
“… it’s about fairness for everybody.” – but Jane Garey does not mention cleaners or other workers, only those on the list.

Odd, that the top executives in the BBC knew about this for years, as they have access to payroll, and the executives did nothing. But Lord Hall kept drawing his pension early and claiming expense like £34 for hospitality.

Why aren’t the BBC headlining anything from the Corbyn interview whereby he essentially misled the electorate (mainly students) stating he was wiping out their debt. How many votes did he buy on the back of this total lie and how might this have affected the outcome of the election. No doubt if it had been any other party, it would have been headline news! Typical BBC filtering of the REAL news.
