Islam is peaceful. Just ask Rafiqi Islam, a loving husband, who told his wife that he had a present for her, blindfolded her to make it a surprise and then cut off her fingers. Then the rest of the Islam family mopped up the blood, while Mr. Islam threw her fingers into the trash, and after a few hours took her to the hospital where they warned her to tell the doctors that she had an accident.
…
Either we go on playing the game of blindfold and machete, or we take off the blindfold, take away the machete and show Mr. Islam the door.

“Because when immigration is too high (no figure given), when the pace of change is too fast, it’s impossible to build a cohesive society. It’s difficult for schools and hospitals and core infrastructure like housing and transport to cope. And we know that for people in low-paid jobs, wages are forced down even further while some people are forced out of work altogether. … So there is no case, in the national interest, for immigration of the scale we have experienced over the last decade.”

“Undercover – Britain’s Immigration Secrets”? I guess I really know the answer to that one.
I’m very surprised that the BBC, usually, miles ahead of everyone else in the News Distortion game, hadn’t thought of that first.
Question: how much did the BBC pay for the, “Covert” footage if taken by one of the occupiers?
A man may take to drink because he feels himself to be a failure, and then fail all the more completely because he drinks. It is rather the same thing that is happening to the English language. It becomes ugly and inaccurate because our thoughts are foolish, but the slovenliness of our language makes it easier for us to have foolish thoughts. The point is that the process is reversible. Modern English, especially written English, is full of bad habits which spread by imitation and which can be avoided if one is willing to take the necessary trouble. If one gets rid of these habits one can think more clearly, and to think clearly is a necessary first step toward political regeneration: so that the fight against bad English is not frivolous and is not the exclusive concern of professional writers. Politics and the English Language

The BBC have launced the Caroline Aherne Bursary for Funny Northern Women! The ‘bursary’ comes with a grant of £5,000 for the successful applicant. Sounds great except applications are only open to females.
Its being dressed up as a bursary following ‘the deaths of three much loved, funny Northern women – Caroline Aherne, Carla Lane and Victoria Wood’. In fact its just an excuse for the female dominated Writers Room led by Anne Edyvean to use public money for a female only initiative.
The BBC is already awash with female writers.
You would never ever see the BBC running a male only initiative and throwing public money at something that deliberately excluded females.
LINK : google BBC Caroline Aherne bursay
I have written to the BBC asking how they can justify this blatant gender bias and for them to confirm how many of their writers are female.
Yet another example of how the BBC deliberately discriminates against boys and men.

Stew,
I was about to post about the Women’s Hour Lebanese drama. I have never been to Lebanon, but there are many Lebanese in Gambia where they treat black Africans very badly and are only interested in using them as slave labour to make money. Even the tolerant British there dislike them. It would make a good BBC documentary.
Next Woman’s Hour is about Yoga classes for refugees and asylum seekers in UK. No wonder everyone wants to get to the UK. It is great unless you are white, indigenous British, of course.

On Guido: “Guido can reveal Jacob Rees-Mogg has indeed lined up his next job – not a ministerial position but a place on the Brexit select committee. The Mogg, who pre-election served on the Treasury committee, has put his name forward for the Exiting the European Union committee (elections are tomorrow). Notable that the Brexit committee is seen as a promotion from a previously highly desirable Treasury spot. Craig Mackinlay is seeking reelection to the Brexit committee despite his legal issues. Anna Soubry is also going for it…”

Well, the Labour Party gave Morgan the Treasury Select Committee job, for the same reasons they facilitated the promotion of Bercow far beyond what he merited.

Owen Jones meets Anna Soubry | ‘I’ll never forgive Boris Johnson’ {youtube feb2017}
“… you (Owen Jones) and I (Anna Soubry) know they talk about sovereignty and in Parliament, and all this rubbish. But for a huge swath of people who voted leave it was about immigration. I have never not heard the stuff that was said to me, say in Nottingham Market Square since the seventies. Look at the result in Nottingham them look at it and analyse it the middle class areas where I live in the image of Nottingham voted remain all the white working-class areas in the around voted traditional labour Areas. I think that some of that debate has been in middle-class people if you like chattering amongst ourselves about the benefits of immigration because we love all the spices, all the things that we can enjoy, the restaurants and everything else and that debate has not not really been extended throughout the whole of our country and one of the…@1:56″

It’s Free as long as you Agree! Then it’s intolerant hate speech … I did think that Anna Soubry is more inline with the Labour Party rather than Conservative Party ….

A change of gear upward in the language to describe mass migration to Europe –
https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/10930/asylum-shelters-concentration-camps
I wonder if the BBC will follow the trend after their Panorama documentary this evening on BBC1 –

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees wrote: “Migrants’ centers? Just concentration camps”. … The Italian Parliament this year established a “National Day to Remember Immigration Victims” by comparing it to the “International Day of Remembrance of the Holocaust Victims”. It is a powerful ideological ploy: in the “new Holocaust”, the flow of refugees to Europe seems unstoppable. The perpetrators of this duplicitous myth are playing dirty with the future of Europe. {gatestoneinstitute sep2017}

Guess when Merkel/Schulz talk about immigration it’s only the legal immigration, they can not talk about the illegal (non-documented) type doesn’t exist at 1.8million in 2015 (that was detected, so +/-80%)?
“In 2015, more than 1.8 million people crossed the European Union’s borders illegally, according to Frontex, the agency responsible for coordinating the security of the EU’s external land and sea borders. This was up substantially from 2014 (with about 280,000 detections of illegal border crossings) and 2013 (about 100,000 detections). In fact, 2015 saw the most illegal entries into the EU since Frontex began collecting data about a decade ago.” {pewresearch mar2016}

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) has carried out another nuclear test. This is once again a direct and unacceptable violation of the DPRK’s international obligations not to produce or test nuclear weapons, as determined by multiple United Nations Security Council Resolutions, and represents a major provocation, a grave threat to regional and international security and a major challenge to the global non-proliferation regime. … The DPRK must engage in a credible and meaningful dialogue, aimed at pursuing the complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula and the full implementation of all relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

FURTHER PROOF THE BBC HATES MEN AND BOYS

The threat comes in response to growing alarm over the rising number of lost and stolen documents in the EU, which has doubled in five years. The number of forged passports in the Middle East is also a rising concern. Interpol has data on 250,000 stolen or lost Syrian and Iraqi passports, including blank documents (ones that are known, the unknown one’s are harder to track!).
…
Two of the men who blew themselves up at the Stade de France on November 13 had used fake Syrian passports to cross into Greece. Four days later, Serbian police arrested a man with a Syrian passport that had the same details as one found near the body of one of the suicide bombers. {politico.eu jan2016}
