Weekend Open Thread

Apparently, according to the BBC, Nichola Sturgeon is very worried that some parts of the UK might be treated differently in any Brexit deal.  No, no BBC, she’s cock-a-hoop…she couldn’t wait to demand that Scotland be given special status when she heard that NI was to be ‘aligned’ with the EU.  Just the usual hopeless ‘analysis’ from the BBC which doesn’t want you to know that May’s stitch-up was ‘Brexit means FA’.  You can tell the extent to which Leave voters have been betrayed by the BBC’s, and Remainders’, delighted reaction to the deal…from constantly insisting a hopelessly weak and out of her depth May is about to be ejected from office they now tell us that ‘a lot of people think Theresa May has done a pretty good job today’…oh, and maybe we should stop seeing the EU as the enemy, it is after all seeking to help Brexit succeed and is facilitating this breakthrough…lol…the EU has done everything it can to obstruct Brexit and to make it impossible to succeed…and May has folded at their every demand….Emma Barnett wanted to know if Bertie Ahern was ‘concerned at what May will have compromised on to get the DUP on-board’!!!  Not at all concerned at what May has humiliatingly compromised on to get the EU to allow Britain to leave…well, leave  is not quite the term is it?  Note the Irish say ‘no deal means the UK stays in the EU’ not WTO rules and a buccaneering Britain…just a slave state paying through the nose for the ‘privilege’ of staying under the EU jackboot.

The BBC’s narrative is completely false and misleading…the EU is not out to help and May has totally undermined Britain’s position and has given away every advantage we had….agreeing in the end to that infamous ‘soft Brexit’…ie no Brexit.

Spot any more BBC bo**ocks….list it here….

The BBC attributes the 0.1% increase in the rate of inflation to: “Inflation rose to 3.1% in November, the highest in nearly six years, as the squeeze on households continued.”

I would suggest 1. the rise in inflation is due to something other than ‘the squeeze on households’, and, 2. sack the Director responsible for the BBC Web-site and, now, also for News & Current Affairs.

Further down the very poorly titled and written article, author unknown, (was it Simon Jack? well, he is responsible as Business Editor) it suggests that a decline in airfares of 10.4% in November is responsible for the increase in inflation to 3.1%. This was not as steep as one year ago. But what caused the inflation figure to rise? The ONS also said food prices were up. Anything else? No. Really?

How about the rise in the oil price and petrol and diesel prices at the pump? Not mentioned. The unnamed BBC journalist did not think to ask the ONS. Sack the journalist, sack Simon Jack and sack the Director for Digital and also News & Current Affairs. Cut all BBC salaries above £200,000 down to that figure. Cut the BBC Licence Fee by half.

That will help reduce ‘the squeeze on households’.

Most companies in manufacturing factor in fluctuations in the oil price but the increase in finished lubricant prices has steadily increased over the last year with the result that these increases have started to filter through as worldwide manufacturers can no longer absorb the increases. As far as distribution costs go a lot of hauliers that have contracts write in a surcharge proviso linked to the increases in fuel, along the lines of 0.5% to 3% dependent on the variants. Generally both sides are happy with this as it stops hauliers pulling out of a contract which becomes unprofitable and ensures continuity for the suppliers.

Oil does more than power our trucks and cars, Synch. As you correctly hint, there’s also lubrication, but a lot of household products plus the plastic littering Roger Harrabin’s brain, plus clothing and fertilisers for food production, among many others, are attributable to oil and affected by its price rises.

The BBC has been recently highlighting the rise in the milk price and solely attributing that to reduction in farm supply but it is not as simple as that. Milk is one product that is highly influenced in its production chain by the oil price and also by transport taxation.

A lot of the public think oil = fuel and forget that pretty much everything they wear or use, oil has played its part in getting it there.

    Well worth reading:
The House of Lords debates Islam
Lord Pearson of Rannoch initiated a debate in the House of Lords yesterday asking the Government to encourage Muslim leaders to re-examine key Muslim tenets of abrogation, Taqiyya and Al Hijra and to publish their conclusions.:

Lord Pearson explains that, contrary to popular misconception, Islam does not mean peace, “it means submission to the will of Allah, the Muslim God.” He also explains that sharia law is fundamental to Islam, and constitutes a complete way of life which “does not sit easily with our western liberal democracies and our separation of powers between legislature, executive, judiciary and church.”

The second tenet highlighted by Lord Pearson is Taqiyya, according to which “Muslims living outside the Muslim world are encouraged to deceive their hosts in order to further Islam.” Lord Pearson cited as an example of this, a letter signed by 119 British Imams and Muslim leaders which claimed that the beheading of British aid worker David Haines “cannot be justified anywhere in the Qur’an.” To justify this claim, they cited Qur’an 5:32 as follows:
“Whosoever kills a human being … it is as if killing the entire human race; and whosoever saves a life, saves the entire human race.”
    Lord Pearson explains that:
“The Taqiyya, or deception, becomes clear when you fill in the dots. The missing passage reads, ‘unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land’. So the Koran actually says you can be killed for spreading mischief in the land, which to the jihadist is doing anything that frustrates his evil purpose.”
Lord Pearson could also have explained that the very next verse justifies execution:
“The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter.” (Quran 5:33)

    Al Hijra
The third tenet which Lord Pearson highlights is Al Hijra, or the doctrine of immigration following Muhammad’s example migrating from Mecca to Medina for the purpose of spreading Islam.

      Demographics {Published: December 8th, 2017 | Islam}
Lord Pearson concluded by raising concerns about the growth of the Muslim population in the UK. The Muslim population rose 10 times faster than the rest of the population between 2001 and 2016, and 33% of Muslims in Britain are under the age of 15, compared with 18% of the rest of the population. Currently, Muslims make up around 6% of the population. Lord Pearson could have referenced a recent report from the Pew Research Center which projects that by 2050 the Muslim population will rise to 9.7% under a zero migration scenario. Under a medium migration scenario the percentage will be 16.7%.

BBC and Remoaners are now focussing on us getting a Norway type of deal. Can someone help me here. They seem desperate to use taxpayers money into a yearly payment pot to gain access to the EU mafia. Why would they want this when there is no need to make this payment?
A prime example of this is the Labour Party. Can a lefty, yes even maxicony please explain this logic, why do we need to pay for something when there is no need to?

Is it also possible that France and Germany do not want us in the EU as they can have a greater economic land mass upon which to empire build? We would just get in the way of their plans, we would object to an EU Army, the adoption of the Euro ad a United States of Europe. ( Although the Labour Party wouldn’t of course. Internationalism and all that)
I think that privately they might be quite pleased that we are leaving which is why they curently appear to be less Third Reich than normal.

I`m finding this easy. ON 29th March 2019, all EU involvement re sovereignty, laws, rights and courts stops.
      We`re back to Dec 31st 1972.
ANYTHING created since then is for us to ignore or fight against unless we the people say otherwise, or accept is as helpful to England and the UK( London and Scotland?…less so). If Sadiq or Nicola. Leanne or Carwyn like it-then the answer is NO!
And let the police chase us in their high heels and pretty princess nails to make up obey the diktats that all politicos have let loose on us since 1973. There is far more of us than there is of them-not enough prisons, and you`re not putting us with Muslim extremists. lest we radicalise. The elite have now shown us that votes don`t mean anything, that laws can be ignored or binned as we see fit-THEY do this. Occupy, weed, “low-level ” crime and BLM, Hope Not Hate and Grenfell?

    Typical BBC slyness this morning.
Some “right-wing” group(Boo!) commissioned a report on the ECHR to suggest ways or improving or removing its baleful and ludicrous mission creep in our culture since its inception in 1950.
Policy Exchange are The Party Poopers, and one Sir Noel Malcolm wrote said report.
Glad the BBC mentioned its existance and will read it.
But if you want to hear Mishal Hussain in best chaise longue alarm form-or see how Helena Kennedy QC( no less, guys and gals!) is set up to give full vent to the EU “straw men of the apocalyse post Brexit” nostrums of the privileges labour luvvie elites-then have a listen on iPlayer( Today, 8.30 this moaning). Helena Matrix-Strasbourg says that old Noel is no lawyer, so knows nothing-all been said before, Tories wrote this stuff, and prisoners are Jews or Roma if we dare to tamper with Helena and her mates.
Mishal agrees-sorry Noel, we`ve already given you way too long as it is.

    3. The BBC and Helena are as one-Policy Exchange need to call themselves “Sexchange” before The Toady Show reckons them worthy to question our EU masters.
    4. Helena Kennedy as Labour Baroness in the Lords seemed not to be worth a mention either-she`s independent setter up of something grand at Oxford…dare YOU question her?

      Spinning,
AMW is very brave in taking on the massed ranks of the liberal left establishment. They will use any means to strangle her party in its infancy and she will be their main target. Owing to their much higher birth rate Muslims need to do nothing other than continue to have large families for there to be an Islamic majority in this country and most of Europe in the second half of this century. If Corbyn gets into power he will massively increase the rate of third world immigration and Islam will achieve its majority a few decades earlier. As you suggest with your ‘pretty sharpish’ comment , there isn’t long left to ward off Islamisation and the process of doing so will be very unpleasant for everyone concerned. But it’s either do it or go under and be forced to accept all the horrors that are entailed in being an Islamic state. That is the stark reality which faces anyone under forty today but they aren’t even dimly aware of what is in store for them because they have been systematically lied to by the politicians, the media, their teachers and lecturers , the police etc etc. By the time they wake up to the awful reality of their position it may well be far too late to do anything.

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.
A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
Individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.”
