When Toby Young was forced to quit hs position it was the talk  of the BBC, when Labour’s Munroe Bergdorf buggers orf it’s buried on the politics page and concentrates on his excuses whilst avoiding mentioning the actual comments that were so offensive such as hairy, barren lesbians and gay bashing.

Spot anymore BBC news censorship…list it all here….

Just a bit of local distortion. BBC South Today at lunchtime today (9th March) covered a story that UK Oil and Gas which has been trying to get oil out the ground in Sussex for months is applying for an injunction to protect itself and its suppliers and contractors from intimidation and violence at the entrance to the drilling site and elsewhere as the many instances which have taken place are preventing it and them from carrying on normal and legal business.

The BBC reports from the scene and shows about half a dozen middle-aged women including the actress Susan Jameson who acted as spokeswoman for the group with plates of cake which they say they have been offering drivers and others using the site. They were allowed to say without question that it was unfair and unreasonable for UKOG to take this action – after all what is wrong with their doing that when they are simply trying to protect the countryside from exploitation?

Impression intended is that the company is acting against innocent and peaceful people like them; no reference to the true state of affairs. Blatant deceit.

Odd, when BBC’s Newsnight was discussing Fracking it actually got in the best experts …er, Emma Thompson, an actress, Dame Vivian Westwood, a dress designer from the 1970s and Bianca Jagger, the daughter of a1960s pop star.

      Apparently, they didn’t like fracking.

Emma Thompson informed us that the global temperature would rise by 4 degrees before the year 2030.

More fake news from the kings of fake news.

Times front page : “FakeNews travels around quicker than truth”
..Such oversimplification breaks the rule of “too wow to be true”
So it’s ironic that its on the front page.
In the real world there are a variety of categories.

News that fits an existing agenda will travel fast .
News that challenges will be slow.

Hence the sloweness of news that challenged the narrative that Brendan Cox is an angel, was very slow getting to BBC.

    Untitled-1.jpg
“BAE’s Typhoon fighter jets have been previously sold to countries such as Germany”

Really, the so called BAEs Typhoon fighter jet is actually known as..the Eurofighter, why? Because 4 European countries developed and share the build of each aircraft built along the following lines:
Germany (33%) UK (33%) Italy (21%) Spain (13%) Each of the above four build the Euro-fighter in their own countries and use the parts produced in each respective country shipped in.

So no BAE has not sold any Typhoons to Germany, as they build their own.

Then after a few minutes the filing clerk in my brain cellar calls up on the speaking tube, “Oi, what’s goin’ on? We’ve ‘ad all this stuff years’ ago. Am I supposed to file it all again?”

How about a bit of honesty BBC? “The following story was specially commissioned by the BBC in 2003 to make a political point disguised as ‘art’. Hopefully you will have all forgotten about it so we can run it by you again. Any connection to any political line that we are currently pushing is purely coincidental and besides it’s ‘art'”.

Anyone as alarmed as I am about the possibility that we will not send “our boys” to the Russian hosted world cup next year as a protest about the recent Russian implicated attempted murders in Salisbury.
The chattering classes at the BBC have been busy all week obsessing about this and what we can do about it.

All I can say is is that if the most severe punishment we could heap upon Putin is not to send over to Russia a motley collection of spoiled and overpaid ball kickers then he must really be quaking in his boots. Personally I would see it as a result not having to host one less team of whining football players with overblown egos and a sense of entitlement.

In truth Putin does this stuff because he can. The liberal left and their opinion formers such as the BBC have transformed our country into a nation of inward looking blowhards, too weak to say stop and unwilling to put up with any discomfort however short if it means a change to our lifestyle.

What a sad testament to liberal inspired weakness we have become. If I was Putin I would be pissing my pants with laughter.
And for true strength and leadership all we need to do is take a quick glance across the pond. But in this topsy turvy world of liberal logic – that would never do.

“The BBC has learned that FIFA is in discussions regarding the possibility of a large-scale boycott of the 2018 World Cup in Russia this Summer. Behind the scenes, numerous countries have expressed their concerns over the behaviour of Russia with regards to the possible murder of overseas dissidents, interference in the 2016 US Presidential Election and the UK’s Brexit vote, plus its support for the Syrian regime in killing its own people. There is also concern over the lack of LGBT rights in Russia itself. One idea which is gaining strength is the idea of an alternative ‘Diversity World Cup’, which would feature women’s football, teams made up of refugees, LGBT teams and para-football featuring disabled athletes. The stadia being prepared for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar are not yet ready, plus a spokesperson who did not wish to be named said there may be ‘cultural issues’ in using Qatar. However, the BBC understands that London is being proposed for the event and the broadcaster has confirmed that it could provide its resources to facilitate global coverage of the event.”

Anyone watch the thing about Putin, the ‘new Czar’ on Bbc2 last night?
It was exactly as expected, right down to some neurologist chirping in at regular intervals to talk about Putin’s mental hangups. It was confirmed, that the KGB man was a bad and naughty person, and just a bit twisted.
So twisted that when Merkel visited him, he deliberately brought out a large doggy to scare that nice, old lady.
I would have thought they had a lot in common: They both ‘came from nowhere’ (with interesting backgrounds in Communist societies) in a very mysterious fashion; they both have been in power forever, and shown no signs of wanting to leave. They both enjoy the slavish devotion of their national broadcasters, and they both ruthlessly sideline potential challengers.
Putin is allegedly -at the very least – well-informed about plots to dispose of ‘spies’ and ‘traitors’. Merkel invites large-scale foreign invasions into her country, as a result of which many Germans have already been killed and assaulted.
Perhaps the BBC will now give us a programme on Merkel, the ‘new Empress’, just to show us they are still as fair and impartial as ever.

Whereas Cliff’s lawyers say he has a right to a private life.

Oh hang on the honourary president of Mauritius is set to resign over a scandal.
She was given a credit card by a Londin based NGO Planet Earth Institute and bought lots of goodies..

Times Business section points out that Fiscal Conservatism is not a Conservative thing
Corbyn wants to borrow like crazy
But that’s not what prized socialist states like Scandinavia and Switzerland do.
They do really practice fiscal control, they spend big but they tax big , collect 50% of peoples earning in taxes.

Not bias but just extremely poor quality. I was baking this morning so with hands covered in flour the so the off button was off limits. Radio 4 Saturday at 10am. A young woman was phoning her friends asking them to live every day for a period of time as though it was their last. All I can say is that I am glad I was doing something useful because my ears weren’t. When I think of years ago when filler programmes were about all sorts of interesting FACTS. Sorry for the shout but it might have been a little programme about daffodils or diamonds or why peas are green or the sky blue. I used to know a lot courtesy of the BBC. This programme did nothing for greater human knowledge, it was a full programme where a young lady paid for by the license payer (ie most of us) presumably then paid her friends to talk to her. Boring programme and the BBC wasting my money.

Scientist on Toady Saturday morning talking about the man who has recently died who mapped a fly’s genome and protected the human genome from being patented. The man being interviewed explained the the recently late scientist had said that he didn’t need to be paid more than a dustman for doing work he enjoyed. I have never heard Sarah Montague move on so quickly.

Deborah, I heard that in the car. I also laughed when one of the scientists colleagues said how the man campaigned for bettering the position of the world’s poor and described himself as a ‘Green Marxist’. If any two philosophies have done more to keep the poor downtrodden and in poverty, I like to know :0)

Just goes to show that so-called intelligence and expertise doesn’t necessarily translate into other fields.

Yes Rob, I heard that bit too and agree with you. But I was transferring the idea that for example Sarah Montague and even John Humphries might do something they like (spreading propaganda for the Left on the Toady programme) and be paid the same as a dustbin man. It would save us quite a lot of money. And if the same applied to the crisp seller…….
