Funny how sopel gets away with a constant stream of abuse toward Trump and BBC comedy programmes can pump out relentlessly anti-Trump, anti-Brexit hate but Andrew Neil is censured for a bit of comic, and astute, observation about Carol Cadwalladr…otherwise known as Karol Kodswallop….the New Statesman is not impressed by Neil’s comic turn…‘Andrew Neil has deleted a sexist and wildly unprofessional tweet about a fellow senior political journalist. ‘ Shame Codswallop’s work is far from professional…or indeed from the truth.

Why is it OK for everyone else in the BBC to abuse Trump and Brexit but as soon as the Left’s heroine, who has been caught out again and again spreading fake news, is Beano’d there is an outcry?

Why then, in a similar vein, does the BBC not delete all its ‘journalism’ based upon the work of Codswallop that claimed Cambridge Analytica had used stolen data to manipulate the Brexit vote, thus ‘stealing Brexxit’? This has been proven completely untrue, Cambridge Analytica having had no part to play in Brexit, the data it had was for the US elections not UK and it was obtained under the rules then working on Facebook.

The BBC, having filled the airwaves for weeks with Codswallop’s claims, now doesn’t say a thing when she is proven to have spread lies and misinformation…and in fact seems to be defending her instead of putting her in the dock as they should be doing.

Where is the outrage about the almost completely “hideously” white attendees at war memorials across the country ? where was our “diverse” population hiding ? where were all the black husbands of white wimmin ?…where were the burkas and the beardy ones? featured every single day on the bBBC as our typical population so… again, …where were they all ?

Careful! It doesn’t work that way!

Clearly the rememberance ceremonies aren’t ‘New Briton’ friendly. Perhaps the Ode of Rememberance needs to be performed as a ‘rap’, all those ‘colonialist’ crosses need to be pulled down and the women to be sheeted up and put at the back.

One has to wonder why so many of our institutions ‘need to change’ to better ‘integrate’ our ‘New Britons’ who weren’t exactly forced to come here.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
      We will remember them.

This is what led to the formation of United People of Luton, as they wanted to march to the war memorial and lay a wreath to show their support for the Army. The police said no , several areas contacted to say it was the same where they live and the EDL was born. The neo Nazis hijacked it and Tommy Robinson left and went solo.

Stew, you have been very restrained about the local news report on the survey about people wanting a second referendum. The reporter did admit the survey was conducted by an organisation dedicated to getting a second referendum so no surprise about its findings. But at 10.30 they had about 5 people’s voxpops with 4 of them saying the people had already spoken. Could they only find one person to speak for a second referendum?

When I remember the terrific American acts like Count Basie, Rosemary Clooney, Andy Williams, Mel Torme, Pat Boone, Perry Como that have been the headline acts in the past, and compare it to the soap actors and unfunny supposed comedians that the audience have to sit through now, there’s not one iota of comparison. Sadly we shall not see the like of all those ‘greats’ again, and we’re left with ageing ‘boy’ bands on reunion tours who cant sing if they’re lives depended on it.

Not just the BBC but also the NT that has given up on the indigenous population. We don’t count anymore. And they wonder why Nationalism is on the rise. Are they totally dumb?
    From Today’s Times:

National Trust’s date with political correctness
The National Trust has warned staff at its properties to stop dropping “before Christ” and “anno Domini” in dates after a stately home in Wiltshire switched to a modern alternative to “avoid offending non-Christians”.

The Trust’s notification was sent out after “BCE” and “CE”, meaning “before common era” and “common era”, were used on a timeline explaining the history of Avebury Manor in Wiltshire.

The National Trust has pledged to inform staff at the manor to amend signs and said that its internal style guide has a preference for BC and AD.

Terms including BCE and CE have been used by the BBC and some local education authorities in recent years although critics claim that leaders of non-Christian faiths do not consider the traditional versions offensive.

David Pearson, a retired banking consultant who visited Avebury, told the Daily Telegraph: “BC and AD go back an awful long way and they work perfectly well. If it isn’t broken, why tamper with it?

“All it does is offend Christians, yet I very much doubt people of a different persuasion, or no persuasion, are offended by the normal version. Nothing good comes of this sort of thing except someone high up somewhere gets a satisfied feeling because they have done something modern.”

Last night a spokesman for the National Trust said: “The National Trust’s editorial style is to use AD and BC when writing dates and this has been the case for many years.”

Sometimes I wonder, what are you really waiting for, this platform could make a difference, I would not defend profanity but have used it myself on this site, and noted that this was the only occasion that I had people directly communicating with me, which is sad, I think sometimes that this forum is often like a room with everyone shouting out loud, no one listening to each other, and someone swears and it all goes quiet, and then they carry on shouting.

I am not making a judgement, but, observing how this forum could do better with people actually comunicating rather than a list of rants, communication and dialogue could be encouraged and fostered

I wasn’t looking for approval regarding my opinionated attitude , I just wanted to know that there were others out there who saw what I saw and that I wasn’t alone .
I never cease to be amazed at the input from contributors to the site and as a result I check out my news from multiple sources now.
People finding and coming to the The Biased BBC aren’t necessarily visiting to comment , some might actually find the fact that the contributors here are so clued up a little bit intimidating ( I did )

Lauren Southern has a tremendous amount of courage. She recently toured the killing fields in South Africa and spoke to whites about horrific black violence against their friends and families.

Look closely at the latest Xmas jumper appeal, last one sent the money to the most corrupt nation on earth : south sudan billions stolen from their oil resreves by the government and we feed their kids

A new Global Witness investigation shows how South Sudan’s state-owned oil company, the Nile Petroleum Corporation (Nilepet), has fallen under the direct control of President Salva Kiir and his inner circle, and is being used to funnel millions in oil revenues to the country’s brutal security services and ethnic militias, with limited oversight and accountability.

“While South Sudan’s population continue to suffer a senseless war and economic crisis of their leaders’ making, Nilepet is failing its true constituents, serving instead the interests of a narrow cabal, and being used to prolong the brutal conflict,” said Michael Gibb, Campaign Leader for Conflict Resources at Global Witness.

Happy Xmas jumper day ! lets all feed his starving kids while he lives on his billions of pounds, why not ?and while we are on the subject, lets feed all the starving kids in yemen and syria while their fathers spend all their money on guns and bombs and if we give them enough money apparently they will not rape children also ..

…I did not really wish to bring Brexit into this piece. If you are like me, you long ago became bored to tears by it and the machinations and chicanery, so obvious to the seasoned observer, to prevent it happening. However, Brexit brought our new hegemony out of the shadows: the civil service, the Treasury and senior members of the Tory government. News media, dominated as it largely is by middle-class Left-liberals churned out of the universities in their thousands with the same opinions, published every disaster forecast by the Treasury quite uncritically. Mark Carney, the Canadian Governor of the Bank of England, made himself a laughing stock when almost all of it was wrong. At the national newspaper where I worked in the months after the referendum, news editors suddenly announced themselves ‘European’ on their Twitter feeds and their jobs largely became copying and pasting apocalyptic press releases from the Treasury and civil service. No one in my trade seems to have considered how much damage this foolish and obvious puppetry would do its reputation: fake news as a concept could gain traction only among a public that has become jaundiced by news routinely skewed to a particular agenda. The BBC in particular, a prime weapon of the ‘occupying forces’, has ruined its reputation with its bias to the Left in all matters (while resolutely claiming to be the final bastion of defence against fake news)….

I just watched on the 10.00 pm news an item about Alternative Provision schooling. Just what did the governors think they were doing allowing tv cameras in school. Of course these children will play up for them. The Headteacher looked so young, I would be surprised if he had the experience to really manage the school even if he has the enthusiasm of youth. But of course according to the item the problem is funding and wicked Tory cuts. It isn’t, it is the chaotic home lives these pupils have and that is often due to drugs and family breakdown.

I hesitate to give too many details, but I am occasionaly involved with a secondary school for boys who are excluded from everywhere, it is sometimes their fault maybe, some autistic, but mostly their family or lack of it. my heart breaks sometimes, many are not clothed properly or fed each morning but their school does this for them…so sad they will never achieve academic success but we do other things with them like the Duke of Edinburch award and I have found, the most valuable thing is not what we do but the casual conversation we have while doing things, they can unload about anything to someone who just listens, an adult role model whatever or just someone who cares

        Anun,

One programme in particular at the weekend highlighted the positive influence that the Army Cadets can have by providing guidance and skills to young men and women all over Britain, but especially in more socially and economically deprived areas such as the East End of London used by them as an example. Of course, this being on the bBBC, it centred mainly on the achievements of a Muslim Cadet leader, whose name I can’t find, but who did seem a genuinely dedicated, respected and inspirational man.

The Cadets seem to offer opportunities for many through developing self discipline and a positive attitude, to build self-confidence and to nurture practical thought. Ultimately by enabling them and allowing them to aspire, to have some national and civic pride and some self-worth.

Now why can’t Labour and the left see the benefits that organisations like this can offer and support them more?

I am in a similar position to Annunaki and could weep for every child in the school’s care but it isn’t just a place to dump pupils. The school and its staff are determined to do the best for every child. And there is always OFSTED waiting to highlight inadequacy. I would not besurprised if the school shown on the BBC tonight isn’t noticed by OFSTED and triggered an inspection after what we saw on our screens.

          Deborah,
I am in a fortunate situation that I do not work in those awful places but am in a situation where I can help them, and I do as my company has a social responsibility care and I hold them to account for it. This will happen more and more as local authority officers are lazy and useless from my direct experience

Al Beeb informs us “We’ve had kids collapse from spice”.
The nation is in a mess, the end of stop and search, knife crime, drugs, democracy, propaganda on a supposed impartial media, uncontrolled immigration, so-called ‘hate crime’, etc etc etc.
Blame the root cause – Mrs Chamberlain.

Why (and how) are there Somalis in this country? They even make up a statistically significant proportion of the criminal population.

Afzal said “You may not know this, but back in 2008 the Home office sent a circular to all police forces in the country saying ‘as far as these young girls who are being exploited in towns and cities, we believe they have made an informed choice about their sexual behaviour and therefore it is not for you police officers to get involved in.’”

I left home this morning to go to work. Of course, I was having breakfast, so I really only kind of half left. Then her inside wanted some chores doing, so while I got on the bus, I also did some repairs to the conservatory. I should be in town in a few minutes, but now she, who must be obeyed, also wanted me to clean out the toilets.
She only uses the en-suite, while I use the guest loo, so the question arises: which toilet am I obliged to clean, especially since I’ve already arrived at work? This entire issue is very complex.
My toilet’s looking very messy, so I’ll need a backstop. Only, the instructions on the package aren’t very clear.
The boss has rung in to ask why I’m not at work. He says, if he doesn’t see me soon, he’ll fire me but also offer me a new contract.
Only, I won’t be able to look at it. I really hate this signing stuff I haven’t read!
I ask: what’s your problem? I am at work, at my desk, fully a part of the company, doing my thing. I’ve even brought my backstop, just in case.
He says I don’t know my boundaries, while I say he doesn’t know his!
The missus insists I hoover the carpet before I leave for work. She’s going to speak to me one-to-one about that. Now.
The boss says I’ve created new boundaries. So I’m going to apply for my job again, he simply doesn’t recognize my previous application. He wants a one-to-one with me about it.
I’ve started mending the kettle under supervision of my better half.
(I recognize her gender superiority, you see).
The boss wants me to sign, but says he still can’t see me. Ditto the missus; she now wants to know where I am.
Now I’m going to explain to both of them how complex leaving for work really is not. They pretend they don’t understand me. I think they simply don’t know what my backstop rules are.
I tell them it’s not so difficult. I close the door behind me, get on the bus, and go to work. Bugger the chores at home. Let the other half do them. I bring home the bacon.
Bacon? But is that in the agreement?

It’s very simple: fill a glass with half a Treezer. Then add a quarter of Soubry. (Careful of the Toady, it bites.) A slice of Morgan can now be added. Add a dash of Johnson, but be careful to get the right bottle.
Sprinkle liberally with some Keir. Stick in one of those little Jeremy umbrella thingees. Add Abott le of ice, or even just a cube.
And there you have it. Take a large gulp. Yummee, it’s Lammy!
