Weekend Open Thread 29 June 2019

The MSM campaign to ‘ get Boris ‘ trundles on . As a result I bet both candidates see MSM involvement – such as hustings – a mistake . This shows how the MSM has put its own personal view above the needs of the public .

I think Boris need coaching from Donald. He’s doing the same things as Donald – resisting lefty media bias and refusing to be drawn on his private life.

Problem is, he just doesn’t have Donald’s swagger and style and the ability to deliver the devastating one-liner – like his response to the latest no-doubt fake claim of sexual harassment:

    She’s not my type.

How is an accuser going to respond to that? It has a touch of brilliance to it as well as a dose of humour.

Donald has the ability to let it all just wash over him. Boris can also do it, but he needs to up his game.

      Good point, True!

Boris is good at ignoring anyone else’s agenda, dismisses questions which he feels are irrelevant, and generally beats the autocue-readers at every turn.

The’managers’ in the bbbclbgtshdy67ckjj bunch don’t know how to deal with this sort of response – they never have, so Boris really does what he wants.

But you are right about him needing to ‘up his game’, because the proper press (not the tax-payer-funded bbbc or sky), will use his good statements well, whereas the weaker leftie press will dither about lobbing insults, which just ‘Bounce off Boris’!

(There, I’ve engineered a slogan for the guy, and I’ll share the commission with you 50/50, as it was your post in the first place)!

(Reminds me of Trump’s offer to Hilary Clinton to buy the fireworks her campaign spent a fortune on to celebrate her ‘victory.’

Trump said, “I’ll give you ten cents to the dollar.”)

Yes I do, I do see the Border, I see it, I see it. Its above and below the sign about no borders. In fact the sign about no borders is hanging on an internal border around the Glastonbury Concert site. The BBC has borders like that one, with security guards and dogs patrolling the perimeter, keeping Islamic terrorists and Blacks with knives out, protecting Lord Hall from being murdered. All paid for by the licence fee. Proving that the BBC loves borders. ABOLISH THE LICENCE FEE and use the money to build a wall around Londonistan to protect England, instead of Lord Hall.

However I can not pass on this one and I’m at a loss as to the silence on this latest announcement by our Muslim Home Secretary. Do you notice the smug smile from him when emphasises that the majority of the (refugees) will be from Africa and the Middle East. If this doesn’t send shock waves then god knows what will.

            Mood,
The greatest disservice the UK media and the BBC did to the public, is not to explain to them what the UN Compact was all about. If you had not searched/trawled YouTube you would simply have not known. Just as Treason May slipped clandestinely over to Morocco to sign the UK up to this outrageous act of Treason the media kept equally as silent. We are at war and that war is internal to the UK as is equally the rest of the EU being similarly manipulated.

The author Vincent James states the obvious – most people would like to live alongside people of their own kind. So we see Sajid Javid expressing his wish, and as he is the Home Secretary, he is going to allow many more Muslims and Africans to settle in the UK. Has he determined if the people of the UK wish so. Of course not.

In a BBC interview, Dalai Lama warns: “Europe is for Europeans,” EU will become “Muslim” or “African” if migrants allowed to stay

Asked what was wrong with the scenario of Europe becoming Muslim or African?

The above question was asked by the BBC reporter. More, the BBC reporter was female and Indian – Rajini Vidyanathan.

This BBC reporter has no concept what Islam did to Hindu India, in its centuries occupation of India. It also wiped out Buddhism in lndia, a land where it was founded.

Rajini Vidyanathan, clearly has no loyalty to historic Britain, and that is why she has no misgivings or regret, to see historic Britain destroyed. When and not if, Britain is Islamic, Hindu “idolators” ( in Islamic law), such as she, will be persecuted, forced to convert or driven out. When that happens, she knows she has a bolt hole back in India. Thus confirming the Dalai Lama’s view.

Only a sprog but I remember my parents Italian neighbour grew a watermelon in his greenhouse, it was delicious and a real novel treat back them.
Never done it since and he’s in his eighties now. I asked him once why he never grew any more, was it because of the ease of buying them in the supermarket I wondered? Oh no was the reply, I always plant a few seeds every spring, but it’s never been hot enough for long enough, especially the difference between day/night temperatures. Too extreme for the plants to really cope with.
Mmmmmmm I thought, there’s some real world practical experience.

Two years ago, Brissles, I grew 89 tomato plants in various parts of the garden and on our allotment.

The whole village had some, and we still have several bags in the freezer, in case we get late blight this year…

Senora O’Blene has instructed me to reduce the number of plants this year, with the added intention of immediate castration, and possible mutilation as well, especially with the withdrawal of tinctures thrown in…

I like your idea of growing them on the windowsill though – never thought of that!

Hows this for a ‘tomato’ laugh.

A few years ago in Switzerland a lady passed away, and was buried in the local cemetery. She didn’t have much family, but an elderly loving sister who would regularly visit the grave. Rather than keep replacing cut flowers, she decided to put a few plants around the headstone. (you know whats coming next…..)

A few weeks later, there were frantic phone calls from visitors to the cemetery, to the husband of the deceased saying the grave was awash with tomatoes !!!! Photographs were taken, and not to sound disrespectful, it was one of the funniest sights I’ve seen. The poor woman’s grave was covered in heavily laden plants with an abundance of tomatoes. The husband had to uproot them, and left a box of the produce at the cemetery gates, inviting people to help themselves.

The latest on Astronomy and Global Cooling not on the BBC: This is the latest satellite based global temperature graph. Notice that they say its nothing to do with the Sun. They are talking about Solar irradiance, not Cloud Albedo changes. What is important is the Hale Magnetic Cycles. The one before 1996 was 20.4 years long, the one after 1996 is expected to be 24.1 years long. The average Hale Magnetic Cycle is 22.08 long, shorter than this causes Global Warming, longer than this causes Global Cooling. The present cooling started after 20 years of the second cycle starting. The next cycle is also expected to be much longer than usual. The second graph shows the cooling reaching a minimum in 2042. Producing a predicted cooling of 1.2 Kelvin from 2016 to 2042.

The beeb positively convulsing in ecstatic adoration of someone called Stormzy, real name Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Yaxley-Lennon.
“Three songs in, he flashed crime statistics on the video screens, while sampling a speech by Labour MP David Lammy on racial disproportionality in the criminal justice system.

Later, the star invited a classically-trained dancer on stage to highlight how racism and privilege are present in all walks of life – even ballet, where shoes have only just became available in different skin tones.”

So blacks committing disproportionately more crimes shows how racist the country is, as do ballet shoes the wrong colour for all those multitudes of aspiring black ballet dancers. Man’s inhumanity to man, eh? The wrong coloured pumps – it’s enough to drive a young man to drugs, crime and murder.

As the beeb drool, “thought provoking” indeed.

    Pur-leeze.

Yet somehow all that racism didn’t stop our Stormzy making it to the top of c-rap.

Imagine if the head performer were a white nationalist saying you should stamp on black people’s faces.

This is what Stormzy encourages, and much worse. And you can’t say he’s using ‘artistic licence’ and does not really mean it because eight people have been murdered in the last fifteen days. I have not heard a word about it on the BBC, let alone the hysteria over the Stephen Lawrence murder. Just one man died in that attack whereas thanks to this rotten culture EIGHT have died in fifteen days!

The SJW house of cards falls apart when an oppressed group turns oppressor, as we saw so tragically in Rotherham. Having some groups above criticism was what the SJWs rightly fought against in the first place. Now it has gone full circle and we have the darkly surreal spectacle of someone who incites extreme violence upon minority communities held up as a paragon.

BBC has an intrepid reporter on holiday in New York to report on a gay pride celebration.

“Everyone is really happy,” he reports.

I would be happy as well if I were at a party in the greatest city in the world. Do we really need him on the ground reporting? We know in advance what he’s going to say anyway; if you have been to one protest/demonstration you have been to them all. If he really needs to watch it there will be a live stream online somewhere. Should pensioners really go to prison just so BBC staff get free holidays like this all the time? Something like 450 covered Obama’s inauguration – how ridiculous. Again in 2016 they seemed to have someone on holiday in every single state. Totally unnecessary – just Skype someone if you want word from the ground.

It’s the same with Brian Cox: surely science is everywhere. Why must he take a crew to deepest Brazil when with a bit of imagination he could illustrate the same idea on Canvey Island? They have a bottomless pit of other people’s money so they waste it.

Even worse they love to signal virtue about ‘Tory cuts’ etc but when they had the chance to actually BE virtuous rather than signal it (keep licences free for pensioners) of course they could not do it.

A bloke rapping on a stage is being treated as one of the biggest stories in the world by the fawning BBC today.
Stormzy’s highly politicised Glastonbury set flashed crime statistics on giant screens and sampled a speech by the divisive, racist Labour MP Mr Lammy.
The BBC predictably just luurved it because it fitted right into its diversity driven, anti Tory agenda.
Now, I don’t actually have any problem with Stormzy’s pitch as such – it’s just that it doesn’t deserve to be treated as big news.
The guy is being clearly dishonest about black gangs and their drug culture, and is inciting hatred, but the BBC does not wish to go there.
But you pay your money, you take your choice.
My choice has been to follow bands like The Who, an act from another era who also highlighted youthful anger, political frustration and had a two fingers attitude towards the establishment (My Generation, Won’t Get Fooled Again etc.)
Unlike Stormzy, however, they were proud to be British, celebrated London youth culture, and literally wore the Union Jack with pride, not as a stab vest. Daltrey now gets it in the neck for slagging off the EU while Townshend remains one of the few true geniuses of rock music.
The Who have headlined Glastonbury twice. The BBC covered the shows, of course, but didn’t make a lot of them, certainly not on their news pages. Too old, too white, too “rock” probably.
But Stormzy? Expect endless repeats, much analysis, BBC sainthood, gush gush gush…..

More sport. Formula 1 is boring. McLaren have won all the races this season. The BBC talk to F1’s Marketing Director or Development Director or somesuch, a wimmin, and at the end, the Beeboid claims that there are not enough wimmin in Formula 1.

The Beeboid is fairly ignorant in his feminism and gender baiting and the F1 spokeswoman firmly puts him right on that. There is a team where the boss is a woman. There are female engineers, too, in the sport.

Actually cars and driving (and cycling come to that) are very egalitarian, have been from almost the beginning and are a great driver (no pun intended but you may chuckle anyway) of upward social mobility. If only politicians and others knew that.

The BBC, sadly, will not inform or educate them. Agenda? What agenda?

    (see also https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/9391204/remainers-brexit-hardship-poor/)

This plan – even the fact that elite Remoaners are contemplating it – is very revealing.

First, it confirms that these people are not, as they constantly claim, merely worried about the wellbeing of ordinary people in Brexit Britain. Rather, their overarching, obsessive aim is the same as it has been for three years: to stop Brexit from happening. It’s all they care about.

Secondly, it utterly explodes all their fear-mongering and politicised hysteria about No Deal Brexit. It confirms that was all just propaganda designed to scare Brits out of their commitment to Brexit. That these people are now contemplating the very scenario they said us Brexiteers would bring about – government mayhem – shows that for them ‘chaos’ is just a political tool to be wielded against Brexit.

And thirdly, it shows what those of us who believe in democracy are up against. We are up against a political class that will stop at nothing to prevent the UK from making a clean, full break with the European Union. They will bring about hardship, hamper essential government activity, and trash democracy itself, all in pursuit of propping up a rotten status quo that the people have clearly rejected. These people are serious about trampling all over the democratic will – supporters of democracy must get serious too.

Tell us something we don’t already know.
    Still, it’s worth repeating.

The USA team is more diverse than the England side with their

No problem for me. The game between the USA and FRANCE was
pretty good last night and it would take a good under

The problem for BIG BROTHER is that I do not believe that Jonathan Pearce can be coerced in to support a foreign country when England are playing them, even if costs him his job.

      Foscari,

I see you are not among our esteemed colleagues here who pour scorn on women’s football. I’ve seen a few highlights of the Cup on YouTube and it didn’t look too bad but of course you can’t judge the quality of the play just by a few minutes. And so I’m going to reserve judgement until I have watched the quarter finals today between Italy and Holland and Germany and Sweden.

Israeli TV is being kind enough to broadcast both matches on a local free-to-view channel and I will return here to report on them.

I’m also skeptical of the claim that an under-15 boys team beat the national women’s side 7-0.

Re the BBC dilemma on whether to support the England side or the US when they play on Tuesday, I think the fact that the US has a lesbian player who loathes Donald Trump will make what there is of the BBC’s mind up for it.

But I guess it is possible that the old British instinct for fair play will kick in (pun intended) and the BBC will at least show the same enthusiasm for both sides.

I was listening on the World Service to England vs Trinidad and Tobago, I think it was, during a previous world cup played by men when the announcer flatly stated that England had scored, without a trace of enthusiasm in his voice. Obviously he was supporting the other side, and he didn’t even have the professionalism to keep his bias out of his commentary.

I’d never heard anything like it and I hope I never will again.

I must admit I quite liked the energy and desire seen by the women’s footballers. Quite the opposite with most of our English Prem male footballers.

Still, with all those high earners you would expect a few of them to be weighed down with all that cash in their pockets.

          Wimmin footballers.

As a boy during the 1950s I used to watch the local football club getting hammered every saturday. Such a bunch of wusses but we loved them. One day two teams of wimmin footballers arrived in a coach and played their hearts out to an audience of about 40 . They came from St Helens, near Liverpool, and were brilliant, and when they fell down they got up again without a visit from the man with a magic sponge in a bucket of water. We spoke to them at half time. Just working class women with jobs during the week in shops or factories. I never continued with my interest in football, but wonder why women’s football is being presented as something new

It was, apparently, very different one hundred years ago, G.W.F. A small conflict took all the men away for a foreign holiday and Wimmin worked in factories and played footie for fun. And money. The BBC don’t do history – aaagggh! – I’ve just remembered another TOADY Watch I should have posted about this morning’s prog.

Apparently the BBC’s memory only goes back 50 years, although even then they can develop Half Centenary Amnesia when the event is about someone protesting about a lack of democracy in Europe. Funny that.

If they forget the centenary of the end of World War One, they will not remember the Wimmins footie back then.

But they did manage to remember the 50th anniversary of the launch of Apollo 11. Not the moon landing. Just the launch.

Naturally the BBC aren’t going to mention the number of ‘creative’ fouls and artificial dives from the US team – that might suggest they are picking up aspects of the men’s game and, as we know, the ladies are both gentler and more chivalrous.
Even the lavender-haired Ms Rapinoe was seen to smile, but only after scoring – goals, I mean.

Have to admit I’m not much of a sports fan. When I had a TV licence I’d occasionally watch Match of the Day but with the crisp salesman’s political witterings his smug face got more and more irritating. Now I only catch the odd match in the pub.

I’ve watched a few YouTube clips of the wimmin’s football. Lots of ponytails bobbing up and down amongst the ‘sensible’ short haircuts of players like gobby Ms Rapinhoe. I watched it thinking ‘it’s not really football is it?’

I usually like the USA to do well in international competitions, this time I hope the yanks are sick as parrots next week as our own team of bobbing ponytails see them off. I won’t be watching it though.

    Guardian Opinion Brexit
I’m a civil servant – and we can’t make Boris Johnson’s no-deal fantasy into reality
    Anonymous

[Followed by a number of assertions, and no evidence. Project Fear part XXXIII. With a sneer at Donald Trump.
Possibly written by a Guardian “Journalist”, or even Theresa May.
Brexit is too difficult for us, it’s too much work.
We are starting again. Really? Did you shred all the earlier work believing Brexit had been cancelled? Probably shredded with the alacrity of a Rotherham mass rape report.

Brexit will be a disaster for the EU, so I will claim it will be a disaster for the UK. To make it convincing I adduce this report, prepared by, well, a civil servant!

When a problem with Brexit implementation arises, due to deliberate left wing civil servants (LWCS) negligence or indolence, we LWCS will, as one, say “there, I told you so”. Boris or May or Farage or the electorate will be blamed. Three years spent thwarting Brexit.

Comments allowed and chock full off Remainiacs claiming to be former civil servants and gleefully pointing to the “evidence” and saying “I told you so”.

This is a further example of why a future Conservative or Brexit Party Government must give these cheating, conspiring, lying lefties their P45s and bring in their own people who can be trusted,]

The BBC’s Sally Bundock is being taken to well-earned task for her biased and interruptive interview of Tim Martin, Brexiteer boss of Wetherpoons.
There’s comfort to be gained from picturing Ms Bundock in her regular roles on the Fast Show. She was funnier in those days, before some producer saw her true potential – though the permanent surprise in those goggly eyes can still raise a smile.

UK petition 246,733 to Abolish the BBC television license will be debated in Parliament on 15 July 2019.

Now is the time to lobby your MP to support abolition, I suggest you do not use bias as a reason if your MP is Labour or Blue Labour though, focus on costs to poor people, the usual things they bleat about !

Three bubble dwellers calmly talking about the need to extend A50 beyond 31 October – because there isn’t enough time to get stuff done ?

Are we in a time loop?

Are these people so out of touch that they do not get the fury with which people who want to see an independent UK will react if the traitors put it off again. ?

How out of touch does the journo – political class have to be ?

Another of those little political anomalies in David Gauke’s successful fight against deselection. In a constituency which voted 46% leave to 53% remain, those supporting their MP rose to 120/60, so being Tory heartlanders, they obviously know something the rest of us don’t. Or the vote was rigged, even though experience has shown how unlikely that might be.

If I’m right, the BBC/Left may have a problem with this. From the cap badge in the photo, the soldier could have been a member of the Parachute Regiment.

“local authorities underfunding social care”, whilst advertising for yet more diversity officers and similar overpaid lefty drone sinecures.

Brexit Party Manifesto, demand the money back from the Swiss, if not returned, sanctions.
Brexit Party Manifesto, May global warming trillion, just cancel it.
Brexit Party Manifesto, overseas aid, cancel it, stand on your own two feet.

For the past couple of days , all I have heard on radio 1, has been people ringing / texting the show asking for a shout out as they are stuck in traffic going to Glastonbury.

Caller after caller telling the host how they are 4 hours into their 10 hour drive to Glastonbury!!!!!

Remember. These are all the ones who will be holding banners about climate change and saving the planet. But they drive hour after hour, likely in diesel cars to get there !!!!

The hypocrisy of these moronic libtards is sickening. It really is. Just like that little weirdo Greta flying all over the world. They just don’t get it do they !!!!!
