Midweek Open Thread 28 August 2019

With 64 days to go until Brexit it might be worth reminding the BBC that

270 voting areas voted leave – 406 constituencies
129 voting areas voted remain – 242 constituencies

Figures made unfamiliar by the biased MSM and worth remembering when traitors in the Bubble attempt to deny democracy.

Why is it the BBC love to “fact check” the likes of Boris and his pork pie , Dominic Raab and what he may or may not have said during Brexit campaigning, Nigel Farage, Donald Trump on every word they utter, the wording on the Brexit bus. And seemingly take great satisfaction from it !!!

BUT , never , ever pull up Corbyn, Mcdonnell, Abbott, Soubry, Lammy, Bercow , Swinson etc about anything at all ??? Constant , free reign , unchallenged , time after time on the Beeb.

Funny that. It’s almost as if you could sense a Left wing bias at the BBC !!!

    Impartial !!!! Do me a favour !!!

When they used to have revolutions in banana republics in the fifties and sixties the first thing the insurgents did was to seize control of the local radio station. They then broadcast fake news and propaganda and the established regime simply couldn’t get their own message out. Whilst the advent of new technology has made this method of operation less effective many people still get their news from the BBC. We on this site know the corporation is completely biased to the point of lying both by omission and commission , many don’t and still believe the BBC news. Getting rid of the state funded BBC would be just as great a blow for freedom as Brexit itself.

I love the BBC ‘Brexit Experts’ that are interviewed that nobody has heard of. This morning’s ‘expert’ on Toady actually said that landlords would sell up and “run away with the money” (sic).
I like it when somebody actually questions an “expert’s” facts. It doesn’t happen often on the BBC but when it does, it’s quite funny.

I listened to a piece on the BBC World Service early this morning about the state of journalism in India.
Apparently anti government newspapers are losing revenue as advertisers go elsewhere.
What tickled me the most was the beeboid was upset by a word I have never heard before but needs a wider audience. An Indian government minister called some journalists PRESSTITUTES
I can just imagine the rage and meltdown of the Beeb if it happened in this country.

Just tuned into Radio 2 by accident. Zoe Ball, that well known feminist and highbrow was promoting a programme on ‘heroic’ women (don’t know if it was on the radio or television), the plug went on for two minutes. What next, CBBC’s Dick and Dom promoting the EU Backstop position?
    The propaganda is relentless.

I can see a time in the not too distant future as women continue to masculinise themselves – in other words aspiring to behave like the worst sort of male yob, that the sexes will drift apart and babies will be processed in factories to order. You can see the start of it already.

She wasn’t promoting a trailer as I thought, she was wittering on about Mattel’s Barbie Doll and that Rosa Parks “The Civil Rights Activist” was going to be the latest “Female Role Model Doll”, following in the Mattel ‘Inspiring Women’ range of dolls (52m 20s into the show). I can truthfully say I have paid for my error as my brain has turned to mush listening to this idiot blathering away.

Nice bit of omission – Hattie Baldwin MP – introduced as a Tory MP – but no mention of her background . Yes a remainer – a May loyalist and a supporter of Jeremy Hunt this sacked by Boris from her ministerial job in July .

The power does not realy lie in Brussels with a load of old croakes but with the enormously wealthy famillies who control the world. The likes of Rothschild whose family operates all the central banks in Europe, and most of the USA as well as other parts of the world, its tenticles stretch everywhere. There are just a dozen or so such famillies that control all, every major international conglomerate, governments, secret services world wide-FBI and CIA instruments of the global elite-Rockefeller directly involved in the founding of both organisations. They have had control of most of all oil production since 1928 and Onassis was the shipping magnate who built the largest oil tankers in the world at that time. Interesting to note that in WW2 every Greek Ship was sunk, except those ships belonging to Onassis. How could his ships sail down every war zone without being attacked? For this to happen agreement at the highest level was necessary. With such power whatever suits at the time can be arranged whether it be the future of the European Union or even Brexit-mind you the UK’s decison to Leave took even them by surprise. Yes Brussels are flailing about somewhat desperately as the rope is tightened to strangle out the end of the EU as is now known.

    BBC Online News Video:

“”Palestinian conflict: Diaries of childhood in Israeli military detention””

    Reporter: Megha Mohan
    Director/Producer: Yousef Eldin

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/world-middle-east-49484690/palestinian-conflict-diaries-of-childhood-in-israeli-military-detention

The video has the typical victim bias that the BBC favour. Slow tinkly piano music and you know straight away that the Jews are the bad guys. Holocaust interview style in reverse. Sympathetic interviews with the detained teenage Arabs who allege inconveniences such as not being fed on the day of their arrest. Visiting parents complain that security beeps at checkpoints feel like torture.
An Israeli prosecutor stated that all interviews are videoed and the allegations of being forced to sign confessions in Hebrew(!) are false. But the BBC’s Megha Mohan won’t let go, in that slow monotone croaky voice drawl that far left women favour. No ‘gotcha’ moment but hey, she and the Director Yousef Eldin are safely beyond criticism from the BBC.

Author Mega Mohen is far Left and a regular BBC contributor. From her website:

“As of September 2018, Megha Mohan is the BBC’s first ‘Gender and Identity’ Correspondent.

Prior to that she was a senior multimedia staff reporter at the BBC’s Digital Current Affairs department. There, she told stories on subcultures across Asia, Africa, the US and Europe, with a focus on gender.

Her original reports include the influence of the Alt-Right in global politics, the War on Drugs in the Philippines, the billion dollar livestreaming industry in China, meme culture in India, women in North Korea’s army, political instability in DR Congo, and the spread of propaganda and misinformation in Burundi.

She regularly appears on BBC News TV, the World Service and Radio 4.

Prior to joining the BBC, she spent extensive time working in the Great Lakes in Africa.”

Perhaps us of the older generation should give this reminder to the youger generation:-
Senior Citizens are constantly beign criticised for every conceivable deficiency of the modern world, real or imaginary. We know we take responsibility for all we have done and do not blame others.
HOWEVER, upon reflection, we would like to point out that it was NOT the senior citizens who took:
      The melody out of music,
      The pride out of appearance,
      The courtesy out of driving,
      The romance out of love,
      The commitment out of marriage,
      The responsibility out of parenthood,
      The togetherness out of family,
      The learning out of education,
      The service out patriotism,
      The Golden Ruel from rulers,
The nativity scene out of cities,
      The civility out of behaviour,
      The refinement out of language,
      The dedication out of employment,
      The prudence out of spending,
The ambition out of achievement or God out of government and school.
And we certainly are NOT the ones who eliminated patience and tolerance for personal relationships and interactions with others.
We most certainly understand the meaning of patriotism, and remember those who fought so bravely and died for our country in both world wars.

In the 21st century the older generation who are in their 60’s and 70’s are exactly the people who are responsible all the things you listed. The young angry students and militant feminists who wanted to tear down the system and smash the patriarchy. Tony Blair aged 66, Peter Tatchell 67, Germaine Greer 80, Richard Branson 69 for example. The first generation baby boomers are the people have had control of the government, culture and financial policies of the western world for the last 30 years and have brought us to this point.

This 70 year old and 99% of my generation is not responsible for taking “The Civility Out Of Behaviour”. Our parents raised us to say please and thank you, were taught to behave ourselves in company, were taught right from wrong, learned table manners, we respected our teachers and those in authority, and certainly would not use foul language in their presence – even men back then didn’t swear in front of a woman.

So, can you argue with any of that ? because as a result of that upbringing, those that are 60+ have all turned out to be pretty decent people. I’m not including any of those in power who actually have brought shame to the baby boomer generation ie Corbyn and McDonnell, but every generation have their pigs in poke !

Btw, perhaps I should admit I did switch to BBC, just to confirm my suspicions, you know. And guess what, their reporter was in such a state she couldn’t even get the location of the lady she was interviewing correct. She guessed, “Edinburgh”, and got the reply, “Aberdeen, actually”. On radio bbc Newcastle this morning when the news of proroguing Parliament was breaking they had 2 people on to interview.

The first, a remainer university teacher(?) who was outraged against this affront to parliamentary democracy.
The second, a labour remainer mp who was outraged at this affront to parliamentary democracy.

Both given uninterrupted time to tell us how bad this was and how it was against ‘parliamentary’ democracy.
They couldn’t say “democracy” because the majority voted out. It’s just because most of the MPs want to be ruled by Brussels so the majority IN PARLIAMENT ONLY is to remain.
That’s the difference between democracy (17.4 million votes to leave) and parliamentary democracy (fewer than 500 who want to stay under eu rule)

They came up with the usual “nobody voted for…” and the “ ….. wasn’t on the referendum”. You all know their usual ‘arguments.
They are outraged at this closing of Parliament yet are perfectly happy with the remainer Bercow playing fast and loose with all parliamentary procedures.

All the remain stream media have been going completely over the top since Boris took over from remainer May. It’s embarrasing how biased they all are.
    Enough.
Where is the one MSM broadcaster that sees what 17.4 million of us (probably many more now) see, all the positives of being free of this lumbering bloc.

”This has been an extraordinarily long Parliamentary session, and governments have the right to shut up shop and return to announce their proposals in a new one with all the golden carriages, fancy Westminster costumes, banging of doors and splendour that goes with it.

But that new timetable means Parliament will be suspended for longer than had been expected – likely now to be prorogued, to use the technical term, around 10 September, instead of going into recess on 14 September ahead of conference season.

It’s only a matter of days. But those are days that might matter enormously, because the crucial and controversial political side effect is that MPs will have less time to try to change the law to stop Boris Johnson taking the UK out of the EU if he can’t agree a new deal with Brussels by the end of October.”

    Translation:

”This has been a terrible long parliamentary session as yet no one has yet stopped Brexit. Now our faithful MPs who are doing everything that they can to stop this Brexit will have less time to do anything about it.

Here at the BBC this is bad news as we do not wish for the UK to leave without a deal as aside from the mass starvation that we expect everyone to face, we will no longer get as much finding that puts our BBC employees at risk. We do not like being proven wrong and it frustrates us that our scaremongering towards the public no longer works.”

There’s much to be pessimistic about but luckily all the moves Boris makes are not on that long list. And although it might be cynical to suggest that all his plans are based on nullifying the Brexit Party – just as Cameron’s referendum was calculated to nullify UKIP – that would be both cynical and pessimistic. But luckily, we don’t think that way. Do we?

Well the Brexit Party would have no existed had we actually left the EU in March. Farage had warned about the party with the intention of standing in the EU election which he ultimately won. The Brexit Party was in some ways a protest vote were warning shots had been fired from Tory and Labour leave voters and a few moving from UKIP with the hope of the new party getting more ground.

A lot of those warning shots hit May and thus she resigned. Johnson now has the chance to avoid any more shots but the guns are there ready, just in case.

As for Corbyn he has had many more shots hit him yet he refuses to go down. Quite pathetic really

Bercow whinging !!! LOL. Have a taste of your own medicine sonny jim !! Well done Boris , well done indeed.

The government has asked the Queen to suspend Parliament just days after MPs return to work in September – and only a few weeks before the Brexit deadline.

Boris Johnson said a Queen’s Speech would take place after the suspension, on 14 October, to outline his “very exciting agenda”.
But it means the time MPs have to pass laws to stop a no-deal Brexit on 31 October would be cut.

House of Commons Speaker John Bercow said it was a “constitutional outrage”.

The speaker, who does not traditionally comment on political announcements, continued: “However it is dressed up, it is blindingly obvious that the purpose of [suspending Parliament] now would be to stop [MPs] debating Brexit and performing its duty in shaping a course for the country.”

It would be “an offence against the democratic process and the rights of Parliamentarians as the people’s elected representatives”, he added.

Oh and the other 2 plebs …… Grieve and Hammond … full on MELTDOWN…. what a great day !!!

    ‘Utterly scandalous’
Mr Grieve – a former attorney general – told BBC Radio 5 Live: “If the prime minister persists with this and doesn’t back off, then I think the chances are that his administration will collapse.

“There is plenty of time to do that if necessary [and] I will certainly vote to bring down a Conservative government that persists in a course of action which is so unconstitutional.”

Former Tory chancellor Philip Hammond called it “profoundly undemocratic”

It would be better is people just stated their opinion . But that’s me .

As for what Boris is proposing . I’m guessing the Queen must have known the formal request was coming so that she would not be in an embarrassing position to say ‘ no’ if that is her view .
It would be good if we could evidence the attitude of the BBC MSM in such dramatic circumstances.

The purpose of the stream of Tweets is to demonstrate the BBC’s Bercow-like impartiality. I’m not sure how else one could list this, unless Twitter bias is off limits here. Personally, I find the BBC’s Twitter bias to be most enlightening as they tend to let their guard down.

As for the Queen, I can’t imagine this wasn’t discussed and agreed beforehand so as to do it in a manner that keeps her out of the politics. There is a Tweet from the BBC conceding that she has no option but to comply here, but in the spirit of cooperation I shan’t post it. ????

Twitter source material is often hard to decode. If Jacob Rees-Mogg, (heaven forbid!) tweeted “Boris!” presumably he would mean something different than if Jess Phillips tweeted “Boris!”. If Mark Eaton re-tweeted JR-M would that be approval or sarcasm? What if he re-tweeted JP?

I heard Shameless Shammi wittering on about Boris’ lack of honesty, decency and truth. The words felt dirty coming out of her mouth after her investigation into anti semitism, which found there was absolutely no evidence of it in The Labour Party.

“Jeremy Corbyn announced her (Chakrabarti) as the only Labour appointment to the House of Lords in August 2016, which some Labour MPs said undermined the credibility of the anti semitism inquiry she had led.
The Community Security Trust, which monitors anti semitism in Britain, said the move was “a shameless kick in the teeth for all who put hope in her now wholly compromised inquiry into Labour antisemitism”.
Marie van der Zyl, vice-president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, called it a “whitewash for peerages scandal.” When asked about the appointment, a spokesman for Corbyn said that Chakrabarti was “an ideal appointment to the Lords”.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shami_Chakrabarti#Labour_antisemitism_inquiry

On 6 September 2016, Chakrabarti was created a life peer (despite only being a member of The Labour Party for five months) as Baroness Chakrabarti, of Kennington in the London Borough of Lambeth.

    The BBC… (B)eelzebub’s (B)roadcasting (C)orporation
For those unfamiliar with this figure, in the Old Testament Beelzebub (or, more properly, Baalzebub) was the name of the Philistine god associated with the city of Ekron in southwestern Canaan.   Other names attributed to him were dung god, prince of devils, and lord of the flies (probably because of the association with dung).   By the time of Christ, the name had become explicitly associated with Satan, the prince of demons.  It may be remembered that the Pharisees famously accused Jesus of casting out demons in the name of Beelzebub (Mt 10:25; Lk 11:14-28), a charge categorically denied by Jesus, who pointed out the logical absurdity of anyone attempting to cast our devils by invoking the name of the head devil waging an unremitting battle to seize control.

So Beelzebub, the father of lies, is the enemy of Christ.  Which brings us to the BBC

Last week, in its supposedly flagship (one and only) Christian programme, Songs of Praise, the BBC saw fit to include a same sex marriage ceremony between two men, who were ‘married’ in Rutherglen United Reformed Church near Glasgow.    This occurred regardless of the fact the Bible prohibits any and all sex outside marriage, laid down as between one man and one woman for life, for their mutual support and encouragement, and for the bringing up of any children that may result from their union. Biblical doctrine could not be clearer – all sex outside marriage is prohibited – as are non-heterosexual marriage services by all mainstream denominations, including the Church of England, the Church of Wales, and the Roman Catholic and Orthodox Churches.  In fact, it is no exaggeration to say that worldwide traditional believers are united in condemnation of this demonically inspired push to recast Christian belief.

Which says a lot about the BBC.   Because, in its wisdom and commitment to ‘diversity’, it has chosen to over-rule this core doctrine of Christianity in favour of what it clearly sees as a more acceptable form of liberal faith.   In response to howls of outrage from concerned Christians across the nation, it says self-righteously, ‘Songs of Praise tells the stories of Christians across all denominations in the UK and, in so doing, aims to reflect the balance of opinions on different issues.’    But only certain opinions, it appears.

The arrogance of such a stance, claiming the right to redefine what Christians are permitted to believe, is staggering.  Indeed, the conclusion is inescapable that in 21st century Britain the BBC has become no more than an ideological tool for promoting an agenda hostile to Christianity; and doing so deviously – not in open opposition, but by rewriting doctrine, so that it appears to conform to its agenda.   This is blatant social engineering at its worst, and goes far beyond the remit of the BBC as laid down in its Charter, renewed in December 2016.

It is, in fact, increasingly clear that we are in an ideological war, with Christianity under unremitting and vicious attack. Beelzebub is taking control and is challenging the Christian heritage and values of our nation.

PLUS (over in the US) the UN are busy on the next phase… that the BBC will use next…

If you have the energy support those in the US where the UN is trying to redefine the word ‘family’. The UN has a conference which we need to insist on the word ‘family’ is not dead yet. The aim to make abortion part of the ‘family’ of measures which the left advocate through the UN.
The UN are busy at work on a ‘UN Civil Society Declaration’ that will destroy a pro-life, pro-family perspective. Make it difficult for our children to have a ‘family’ and be encouraged to have abortions instead.
Sign here to support a US declaration to counter the UN “inclusivity” (non word) hypocrisy outlined above. Something the BBC are very well advanced on creating with its social engineering, here in the UK. Abolishment of the aspirations of ‘family’ are required to end ‘conservative’ values which they see as contradictory to Marxism.

They (UN) want ‘western democracy’ to collapse and global marxism to take over. A bit like Corby’s ‘Universal’ governance to create more ‘equal’ chaos to create a new marxist order. The BBC chips away at our democracy, our conservatism, our ‘family values’, and call it progress, equality, diversity and sexuality a ‘choice’. The end result is Agenda 21, leading to a rapid depopulation of western nations which can then be imposed (by so called financial ‘aid’ to poorer nations to embrace ‘Climate change’ and adopt abortion) as a human right. Not for the right of the unborn (which is a Christian ethic). The BBC likes to make fun of families, conservatism and our our ideas of nationhood and family and democracy and love of patriotism and ritual. All countries have it, that is why they want to destroy the family. It another step in the ‘abolish family’ agenda. Sign to protest and support us in the US:

I remind you this was gleaned in seconds. Reasons for him to say ‘no’ was climate change (predictable) and they may be made redundant (her response was that if that was the case they could go on benefits). His final attempt at a reason not to have a child was ….the rise of the far Right. He could have said his concern that Corbyn could become Prime Minister or Macdonnell be in charge of the Treasury. Knife crime is insanely high, robberies, everything you can imagine as happening in these sink estates mostly populated by Africa immigrants. White people that live there have given up. But no-one was doing anything about it. The woman herself obviously didn’t realise there was anything wrong with it, because she was doing it as if it was the most normal thing in the world. The problem is not with her personally, but with the authorities in London who’ve completely given up trying to enforce British norms of behaviour.
