Midweek Thread 15 January 2020

The biased BBC is going through the motions of box ticking on Operation Augusta – the failed inquiry by Greater Manchester Police into the sexual exploitation of young girls by Pakistani Muslim Paedophile Rape gangs .The report will be forgotten in a day , lessons won’t be learnt even after a report on it. The fear is that in forgotten towns in Britain vile sexual crime against young girls is still going on with both police and so called social services looking away with the Main Stream Media (BBC) complicit in failing to confront it. But let’s spend more media time talking about an American actress who married an English Prince .

I see QT went a bit wrong last night when a BBC plant in the audience smeared the entire white population as waycist.
Then she accused actor Laurence Fox of being a white privileged male, to which he angrily shot back that she was the one being ‘racist (of course we know that for these people you can’t be racist against white people who they hate with a passion).

Of course the cowardly useless incompetent Tory on the panel who should have stood up and been counted was as much use a limp rag.

It now transpires that this woman is in fact a regular BBC correspondent who describes herself as a BBC Breakfast newspaper reviewer. She is “a lecturer in race ethnicity at Edge Hill University on Merseyside”.

This is the swamp Boris the Bottler should be dealing with, but he and his party simply lack the courage and the competence to do it.

No surprise that the BBC view someone like this horrible vile anti white race hating Fascist as suitable for their programs

    Bias? What bias?

      Well spotted, Thoughtful!
No chance of me noticing any of this.
I haven’t watched QT for years.
I just can’t stomach it. The endless bias, the audience plants. The partial umpire. I mean surely someone has to take them to task.
If you were to gauge political opinion in this country by watching QT you would think we hated Donald Trump, we loved the EU and Labour, the lib Dems and the Greens would have stormed the elections.
I think it went downhill when Sir Robin Day left…

Thoughtful. The continuing harassment by black activists of white people being accused of racism (and all branches of it), only makes matters worse. Those who never had a racist thought in their head suddenly have the seed planted because we are told that’s what we are !

Talking to friends who never had an opinion one way or another towards ethnic groups, now have decidedly negative opinions about them, and more so the older they get.

Funny how we all used to ‘rub along’ ok, then a few gobby activists have got to change the atmosphere, and we are where we are.

Not reported in UK media but horrifying in its implications for us here, because the Fascist Left tend to copy the loons over there:

“A campaign organizer for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders warned about mass violence and advocated for the use of gulags for “re-education” in a conversation caught on tape by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas. In the undercover video, Kyle Jurek, an Iowa field organizer for the Sanders campaign, said the country will have to “spend billions” on re-education for people that are “Nazified.”

Jurek suggested the use of gulags for “re-education” of Trump supporters and praised political labor camps. He said gulags have been misunderstood and were actually “a lot better” than described, noting people were paid “a living wage” and allowed conjugal visits.

It won’t be long before the left here are promoting something similar.

As expected the BBC have pressed the launch button on their Climate Silly Season with all the bells and dog whistles going flat out.

Of note when they provide quotes in the running ticker tape at the bottom of the screen the responding author is always given as “Scientists say” no names, no qualifications etc. so we can bet that most of these “Scientists” are probably just activists and most likely BBC back-room activists.

They have declared open-season on stifling any negative debate which of course is in line with their entitled no-platform attitude to any negative response to anything they declare to be the case.

I expect this to get shriller and shriller as the days go on.

They also tried to explain “Carbon Offsetting” so that they can justify sending their people all over the Globe. It seems that what “Carbon Offsetting” really is apart from planting a few twigs here and there is a tax which is then gathered and given to “Charities” operating in the third world so expect an explosion in the number of well-paid fat-cat NGO’s senior staff.

My car was in for work and the TV in the waiting room showed BBC 1. Its so long since I have watched the BBC that it is easy to forget the inanity of its output. Firstly, for over 2 hours, it was nearly all women. There was a single item on Victoria Derbyshire which had a male vo, and towards the end of the program a male handled a dog while the ladies chatted. Otherwise the news that followed relentlessly was women interviewing women with a few blokes because they happened to be, for example, the Secretary of State for Health.

The topics were straight out of the women’s section of The Guardian and discussed without any nods to the real world.

As an example, they interviewed a lass who claimed, possibly correctly but there was no evidence presented, that she was beaten up because she was a lesbian. No one mentioned that most people who are attacked are heterosexual male. Most casualties from attacks are male, most people who are murdered from attacks are male.

Why should we have to pay for programs aimed at Guardian letter writers? No one at the BBC appears aware of the revelations of child rapes from Manchester or Putin’s grab for power, far more important than the vacuous lead story on the news of Glasgow being carbon neutral within a few decades – which is, of course, impossible.

Thank you BIASEDBBC website so I can get this out of my system.

Like so many champagne socialists she could have said, ‘I love humanity it’s just people I can’t stand.’

Equally champagne socialist is the fact that she hid out in a ‘bijou shepherd’s hut’. A bit like Marie Antoinette in her faux rustic cottage in the lavish grounds of Versailles.

Let us hope the same fate doesn’t await our Sandi, come the revolution.

With the 1 o’clock news devoted to climate change, headed by Glasgow’s aspiration to be carbon-free by 2030 followed by Microsoft yearning to be carbon negative – going back to the 70s to reclaim all the carbon used in setting up the company – it would appear that the merry-go-round is in danger of spinning out of control.
The claims, hopes and dreams are becoming beyond ludicrous, pointedly aimed at impressionable yet fundamentally ignorant Gretaphiles, the perfect fodder for the burgeoning new religion.
What this won’t allow is for any assertion that, for instance, Microsoft’s fanciful project is based firmly on financial grounds: ‘Look how holy we are, doing more than all those nasty unprincipled others, so buy our products with a clear conscience’.
To which the only proper reply is: ‘How dare they!’

We have to treat it all with the same indifference as we did each time someone pronounced that all the polar ice was going to be gone by (insert your favourite year, here…).

After “wolf” was called the first time, we became increasingly wary on each successive occasion. We all know, in our heart of hearts, that their desires will be improbable, if not impossible, but we will still all suffer the consequences of them trying it on.

We also know that should any company or authority announce the achievement of their carbon neutrality, it will be a lie, and merely figures manipulated and spun to serve the purpose. When they’re caught out, they’ll just shrug.

OG & Beltane, ” it will be a lie, and merely figures manipulated and spun to serve the purpose”

Thanks to BBC R4 and the TOADY Prog with their Uni visits we know one such lie is already being prepared by a young academic at Queens, was it? He apparently is researching how unused spelt as well as used spelt (from the brewing process) might be turned into fuel. The argument being something going to waste* & creating methane in landfill could instead be burnt to generate electricity. The absorbed CO2 obviously not being released but spirited away by unicorns or leprechauns or something.

If it ever happens, I wonder if any BBC News Presenters will be sharp enough to ask “Why not burn wood from trees or even coal?”.

        No?

        I thought not.

The clip of QT deserves closer analysis.

      1) How sadly predictable that the inane ‘racism’ charge receives knee-jerk applause from a public brainwashed into seeing racism everywhere, and brainwashed into thinking it’s cool and virtuous to systematically denigrate your country.

      2) How brave of the actor Laurence Fox to deny the charge of racism, and the equally moronic charge of ‘white supremacism’. He even said ‘we’re the most tolerant lovely country in Europe’.

      What?? Facist!!

      3) But could this be another straw in the wind that the tide is turning, and people have had it up to their back teeth of liberal-lefty pc wokeness – even luvvies?
