Long Weekend Thread 20 March 2020

Spare a thought for those biased BBC employees in departments which no longer exist such as Sport . It’s a pity other branches of the biased organisation are not extinguished as well… instead of spending their time undermining the response to the threat from the Chinese virus .

Yesterday a friend & I were looking at the Pakistani twitter feeds to find out what our ‘trusted’ national propaganda service weren’t telling us. It was very interesting!

Imran Khan the PM told the nation that because of the poverty there, forcing people to stay indoors was not an option as they would inevitably starve to death, and the country didn’t have the resources to enforce it anyway.
They were in addition unable to offer much in the way of medical services to those who were in need of hospital treatment.

Other tweets mentioned dead bodies in the street and one in particular was very angry and if the people there found out who he was he wouldn’t need the virus to kill him! It went like this:

Allah is not going to save you
Burn the Qur’an like they are burning our dead without even a shroud.

There is however a deeper point here though.

What is the point in the UK wrecking its entire economy forcing people to undergo weeks of isolation if people from countries like Pakistan who are not even attempting to contain the virus are allowed to freely enter the UK and vice versa?

All that will happen is that super spreaders will be allowed to destroy all the work and suffering which has gone on.

In Italy the people blame a Pakistani food delivery driver for spreading the covid 19 after he returned to Italy from Pakistan.

So why aren’t the BBC reporting any of this?

One thing sparking another I find it difficult to believe that the cowardly useless incompetent Tories can close the parks, shops, ban the ‘vulnerable’ from going out for 12 weeks, yet flights are still being allowed in from hot spot countries such as Iran and Italy without any checks at the airport what so ever !

It’s not just me that thinks this, the BBC behaviour is questionable –
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/51980731

“Research shows that chloroquine also has strong potential as a prophylactic (preventative) measure against coronavirus in the lab, while we wait for a vaccine to be developed.
So far, no country – nor the World Health Organisation (WHO) – has officially published treatment measures against Covid-19, but in China and South Korea, guidelines already outline the use of chloroquine as an “effective treatment”, the report said.”
