The boarding school ‘monster’ who always walked free
The two girls ran as fast as they could, fleeing through the dense forest to avoid being spotted by anyone at the school. Reaching a phone box by the main road, they unfolded the piece of paper they had been given weeks earlier and dialled the number hastily scribbled on it. They hid behind a wall and waited for their saviour to arrive. When she did, she took them to the police station. The girls told officers their headmaster had raped and sexually abused them repeatedly for two years. Physical tests backed up their claims. They were 10 and 11 years old.

Quite how this leads to ‘analysis’ escapes me.

Yes first and lots of news about the lack of effort to stop the Channel invasion and the French and the EU doing nothing about it.
Promises, promises and promises coming from Priti and Boris.
I was going to post the announcement by the French government that citizens should be alert to attacks by islamic terrorists and that the BBC has barely covered this – bias by omission
Its general dhimmification of society in Europe. France is showing some pointers that it is fighting back. Muslim nations realize this and are condemning France. France, along with Sweden and the UK , most Muslims thought, were on the way to be Islamic nations.
We are now in the last few days to the results of the US election. This will define America and the West- Europe too.
A few years back, Pres Trump warned of the danger of non-western societies, living parallel in No-Go zones in Europe. He was shunned, and called a “racist”. Many European leaders refused to meet him.
Things have changed. Pres Trump has become a world class leader, trumping China, destroying ISIS, and caging the mullahs of Iran. Japan, Australia, S Korea and India, see China as a real threat. Pres Trump looks likely to be back in the WH, and he is their only hope.
Pres Macron is belatedly getting tough with “radical” Islam – to the consternation of Islamic countries , who thought were on the path to conquer Christendom. The result is hysterical anger and threats of conquering Paris and Europe.
The presence of Donald Trump has changed the atmosphere in Europe. Nationalist parties in Europe – France, Germany, Italy and even Sweden, once the bastions of progressive socialism and multicultism, have the threat of nationalist parties disturbing their decades long sleepy rule.
Pres Macron is not really responding to threats from Jihadis only, but to the far more real threat to him personally, from Le Pen. Similar situation in Italy, Germany and even Sweden.
The EU looks increasingly shaky. Its a world they never thought they would have to deal with.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to America – but I really really think they will go with Mr Trump in a majority big enough to nullify the voting fraud the Democrats have been engineering .
But if I am wrong and I lose my £20 the consequences will be horrible and I fear that war follows pestilence ….. the effect of the Chinese virus around the world – in fragile states – is – in my view not possible to properly predict by anyone …..there is no ‘playbook’….
….. the nature of the ‘war’ might also be tricky . I was musing today that our economies are busily switching to depending even more on the internet – making it even more of a target to disable …. perhaps be state actors or some 15 year old ….
Charities are urging the government to create legal routes for refugees to reach the UK after four people – including two children aged five and eight – died in the English Channel. Fifteen others are being treated in hospitals in France after being rescued when their boat capsized, but authorities fear more people could have been lost. A major search operation is due to resume on Wednesday. It’s thought those who died were from Iran.
In response, Boris Johnson again vowed to crack down on the “criminal gangs” he said were facilitating the crossings, and the UK has repeatedly accused France of not doing enough to prevent migrants leaving its shores. But BBC Paris correspondent Lucy Williamson says French MPs argue no amount of policing will stop the UK being a draw and legally claiming asylum should be made easier. Charity Care4Calais said the loss of life “should be a wake-up call for those in power”, and the two countries must come up with a joint plan of action.

Ah, it’s from one Lily and BBC crew are doubtless en route to be re-embedded with.
First question: are there not safe legal routes already?
If so, are these poor souls simply ignoring them to try and jump the queue?
And the ‘think of the children’ thing seems almost Gazan in the BBC’s credulous or complicit inability to connect dots.

Its time for real change from the political philosophy that has run the West and Europe for over 40 years – Liberalism.
This philosophy was fine as long as the West had genuine borders. But cheap and easy jet travel in combination with Liberalism, is leading to an unsustainable situation. This cannot go on. Something will give. And the last thing I wish to see are people getting hurt.
If Pres Trump is back in the WH, Liberalism will finally be buried. So too Climate Change, Open Borders, and the side encumbrances of wind turbines, solar electricity, and the rest of the unsustainable hangerson of Climate Change.
This why the Liberal/socialist media of the BBC and its likes in Europe and the West, are so hysterically opposed to Pres Trump. Their 50 year program to destroy the West, is all coming to nothing because of “that man”.
PS : For the last three months I’m getting 8 page letters from the BBC. I dont know what about.
Guest Who
The BBC, like ALL Marxist/Communists never know when to stop attempting to slay their imaginary dragons. Been there, done that, had the brain damaged. However, thankfully, the Blair regime came to power and lo, the blinkers fell from my eyes and I was at last able to see the light. Thanks Tone for wrecking the Labour Party and converting me into a right wing Conservative. A Donald Trump victory in the US election and my life will be perfect.
Apparently four people, non British and with no allegiance to this country except perhaps as a source of taxpayer funded social benefits, including two children died in an accident entirely caused by their own decisions and actions in the territorial waters of a foreign power. They were of course trying to escape the clutches of the tyrannical despotic regime in…errrr…..France.
The BBC are in emotional apoplexy. Main news headline. Toady 0710 key interview with Labour’s Yvette Cooper. She has absolutely nothing constructive to say of course but that’s not the point. Just feel the emotion. And very clearly they want me to feel the same. But I have news for them. I don’t.
Unfettered open door immigration is of course a touchstone favourite issue of Labour and the BBC. And events like this give them the chance to show it. Boy, do them give them the chance. And do they take it. Get ready for the street protests from the woke lefties this weekend.
In other news. Around 30 people died in Great Britain last week in road accidents. Any number of families were affected by coronavirus deaths of loved ones. But the BBC handkerchiefs have not been out for them this morning. On an emotion per life basis, the economic chancers coming over the channel have it every time.
So – a white security guard says he was afraid to challenge the Islamic third world bomber because he might get called a ‘racist ‘ – so 22 died … why give that serious reporting ?
It is a real tragedy, but you have to ask yourself why did this tragic family need to make the perilous attempt. Then you read in the Torygraph…
“ They had told fellow migrants that they hoped to join at least one family member already living in the UK. A brother of the deceased father said relatives had tried to talk him out of crossing the world’s busiest waterway with small children.
“We begged him to not try to cross by boat. He insisted on going,” said Khalil Irannazhad, who last spoke to his brother on Monday. “It was the third time that they had attempted to cross to the UK. Two times they wanted to cross via train and the last time they wanted to cross by boat.”
According to Khalil, the family had reached Italy from Turkey via boat before ending up in France after borrowing money from family members to pay for the trip.
“He told me that there were giant sea waves. He said: ‘If I knew it was this dangerous, I would have never tried it,'” Khalil said of his brother’s journey to Italy. He added that his brother had initially decided to stay in Germany or Switzerland, “but I do not know why he changed his mind”.
Black history month has been a revelation on the BBC.
Before I turn on the TV I go down on one knee and subjugate
myself before being”educated” by the BBC on all my
faults as an unwashed indigenous Londoner.I just wish
there was course work accompanying the education.
I have written to the BBC to ask them if we could have
another black history month in the near future and meanwhile
perhaps a transgender history month for November. However
it may well of started on the Londonistan programme last night
where we were lucky enough in the capitol to be educated
on BLM issues, BAME issues and Transgender issues all in
the space of half an hour. You are so unlucky if you don’t live
in the metropolis for this nightly education.
By the way, I don’t know if it is spellcheckers or predictive texting but there does some to be an outbreak of ‘capitol’, a legislative building, on this site, rather than ‘capital’, what one might call the master city of a country..
Capital Jim.Thanks for pointing it out . Spelling has
never been a strong subject for me. It’s funny
though I am pretty good with world capital cities. I wonder
when like Constantinople was changed to Istanbul. London
will get an official name change to Londonistan. I reckon
four generations. Can you just imagine how head of diversity
at the BBC will take pride in this. when it happens.
Following this, I would expect the “red” nuclear buttons on ships and subs will be replaced with the rainbow button so no-one feels left out when they are disintegrated.
Apologies.
I have been corrected on another website.
It should be doubleplusungood.
I am waiting for the Cheka to break down the door and take me to Siberia.
‘Breakfast clubs which help children with chaotic parents who send them to school without breakfast so they can’t concentrate properly’
Part of a letter Tory MP John Penrose sent to a constituent – who tells me he is is furious with his MP. ‘It’s despicable. An insult’ he says. pic.twitter.com/Jsbd9dBD7m
Presumably ‘Breakfast Club’ is held before classes start so the parent who is ‘chaotic’ would have to send their helpless child to school earlier than usual.
Given that degree of organisation couldn’t they just give their child breakfast at the normal time?
Most five year-olds are perfectly capable of getting breakfast for themselves (and for that matter, walking to school, if they were allowed).
I think you will find that many schools are in effect children’s morning clubs now so letting breakfast roll on all morning would have little or no effect. The teachers would then have more time to peruse the Guardian or check out Facebook etc…
All that’s left now is for these starving children to be given evening meals then these ‘parents’ don’t need to feed their children at all.
Perhaps then they can move on to free clothes for these millions of poor starving little mites.
Then free phones….laptops…..you name it, but free.
If you don’t agree to giving all this free stuff away then you are an awful hatey person and deserve all the names you will be called by the liberal wokerati.
TBF the phones and laptops, tablets, x-boxes, V-R headsets etc will be essentials in the hastily reset smart cities, for otherwise how will the cycling and recycling transhuman occupants fulfil their function and earn bitcoin playing real world dataminecraft for the one-world party?
The Times this morning tells us: ‘Food tsar serves up £1bn meal plan to PM. Government is “morally oblidged” to feed pupils’
Look how quickly a benefit turns into an absolute moral right.
The Daily Mirror promotes former preacher and Labour supporting life peer Lord Griffiths, of Burry Port, to share their elevated moral pulpit with millionaire footballer Marcus Rashford: ‘I knew hunger as a child… I know what Marcus felt. An old Etonian has no idea’ – this being the: ‘Lord’s moving speech to Parliament’
Mind you an extra thousand million these days spent on the tax payer credit card is hardly here or there, I think you’ll agree. Partcularly with all this covid going on.
The Guardian has: ‘Calls for national lockdown grow as UK death toll exceeds 60,000’ – yes, we know most of those died six months ago but it’s scary, right?
The Telegraph front page, promoted to number one in the BBC’s press line up this morning, has a frighteningly big graph and the doomwatch style headline: ‘Second wave forecast to be more deadly than first’
The lessen we seem to have learnt from lockdown is most of us can happily sit at home doing practically nothing economically productive for months on end whilst big brother State takes care of the bills. I’d go further and suggest lockdown has taught us that socialism actually works. And seriously, there’s probably no need to worry over the debt. Someone super rich will pay all the tax hikes, right?
Well, probably not. You know this thing those strange bow-tied economists call “negative interest rates” – sounds a bit weird I know. How can that have any effect on me? Yeah, I know I don’t get interest on my bank account nowadays like I once used to, but negative rates, how does that work?
‘HSBC hints at charges on current accounts’ (Telegraph). Negative interest rates will mean you pay the bank more to hold your meagre cash – because you’ll hold less and less actual cash. Cash transactions are tricky for the Government to track and trace… and tax. Cash is mucky and what with all this covid we’re switching to more contactless payments.
The Express is explicit: ‘Millions face the end of free banking’
The banks need to do this, don’t they? ‘HSBC and Santander see brighter prospects as bad loan risks recede. Strong third-quarter earnings. Worst of crisis declared over. Push to restart dividends’ (Financial Times).
The Times invites us to speculate on a US election race that’s a clear foregone conclusion from where I stand: ‘Melania v Jill, who gets the Flotus style vote’? They’re kidding us calling this a close one, surely?
In unreleated news, the Metro features: ‘The Witch Report. Get in the zone with Hollywood’s crones’
The giveaway Metro further invites us to inquire into: ‘Tangled love life of the killer cop.’ The “serial womaniser” PC looks to have been punching well above his weight if the pics of mistresses one and two are anything to go by. Must have been the uniform. And they reckon our cops are overworked?
The Mail has: ‘What a drama! Fay Weldon, 89, in toxic split from husband No3’
More to our taste the Express celebrates: ‘Nigella: I’m so gald I’ve made it to 60. See page 3’ – the tabloids do know how to tease.
Winsome BBC history docs nerd Lucy Worsley brings the lefty culture war to bear on our Royals: ‘TV historian investigates royal palaces’ slavery link’ (Times)
BBC favourite former comedian Lenny Henry meanwhile strives to thrash our big charity telethon with the racial whip in the Guardian: ‘Times have changed. Comic Relief ends use of “white saviours”… African people want to tell their own stories’ – perhaps white people should be banned from contributing to African charities?
Ever wondered whether you had suddenly awoken in some sci-fi dystopian nightmare? This could be the clincher: ‘Scots pubs to reopen, but alcohol is banned’ (Telegraph)
AISI, various business sectors and industries may be in trouble from the Pandemic or the digi-revolution but there is one sector that is thriving.
The PR industry is working like never before, getting all sorts of folk onto the front pages of our nation’s newspapers. Today it is Nigella Lawson and Fay Weldon. I hope they are not using old photos or stock (Picture Library) photos as a photographer friend of mine could do with some more work.
Encourage single women to become mothers, then provide state subsidised housing, child benefits etc.
The children don’t have good male role models so they end up needing state-funded social workers, police officers, prison warders, probation officers, social workers and benefit clerks.
Open the borders to maintain the ‘gimme’ voter base and we need more ‘social’ housing, immigration officers, lawyers, translators and border ‘guards’.
Having destroyed the culture of the indigenous people we have more crime, more police officers, court officials etc.
It’s a one-way slide into chaos, yet they have the nerve to call it ‘progressive’.
Total dependency, Sluff, from cradle to grave. Blair and Brown had some thoroughly evil (from my point of view) plans in that regard and up in Scotland, The Wee Nippy has picked up from where they left off.
Continuing my theme from the last thread about the actual cost of food in supermarkets versus the £3 per meal Free School Meals voucher value demanded by the outraged LeftMob.
Without going through the list again but briefly…
Pasta and Sauce followed by apple and custard. Total £1.90
Soup, ham sandwich, an apple and a chocolate bar . Total £1.40.
Does anyone from the BBC, or especially Marcus Rashford actually do their own supermarket shopping?
Or are they too busy guzzling the pre-dinner Bollinger? Bought by their housekeeper, naturally.
Sluff there’s a pasta in a packet thing – with a sauce built in – you can buy at supermarkets for pennies. You need some fresh milk and maybe some optional butter plus a hob on which to cook it. You can buy broccoli for pennies, especially if its on a special at Tesco (wear your mask), Asda or the German supermarkets. Add a bit of grated cheese. Hey ho: a meal for two adults or an adult and two or three children.
Note: Tesco and Asda actually promote healthy eating with displays of discounted vegetables (subsidised by the producer, mostly, and more occasionally by the shop chain) in many of their stores facing the main entrance.
Should I add on the subsidised LA grants to many in OAP homes and other subsidies to exacerbate the savings? Fact is, time moves on and when dead there follows another ‘crop’ of unfortunates moving in to provide another round of savings. No savings? Wakey wakey.
Being extremely cynical – but with first hand experience.
The biggest beneficiaries of Coronavirus are people whose elderly relatives are in care homes and don’t have the privilege of being disadvantaged and so have to pay their care costs in full. Typically around £1000 per week.
BTW for the ‘disadvantaged’ of course it’s paid in full by the state ie the rest of us, along with all the other freebies mentioned higher up this thread.
Pity the poor sods who work hard for a living and are just above the thresholds. They are worse off than if not working. What a great incentive for society that is. Not.
Sluff – please tread carefully on this subject . I lost a friend in a locked down state care home without being able to say farewell and others are unable to get their relatives out of those places … I’ve also faced the prospect of paying £1000 a week for a specialist dementia care home … but couldn’t find one I’d put a dog in …..
Fedup
4 years experience with Mr S senior.
My reply- and note first three words, was to Stew and in that context.
But actually by the time Mr S could no longer recognise me, was doubly incontinent, could no longer walk, could speak less than a handful of words, and was forgetting the importance of eating, a little coronavirus may have been no bad thing, and in reality not dissimilar from the pneumonia that got him in the end.
Wish you and your dependent elderly relative well. Don’t be surprised if it is not an easy road.
R4 -almost a fully-fledged 24 hour propaganda channel, seems to have taken a huge shine to Bernadino Everisto, or whatever her/his name is. Regular poems/appearances on Toady now.
Only the Rt Hon Marcus Rashford OBE MBE VC DFC DSO George Cross etc etc is more popular.
Wonder why?
But then lately, black presenters, producers, writers etc starting to pop up everywhere. So there’s the answer. Even a programme on environmental activism yesterday had been taken over by blacks. They see the environment as directly linked to issues of ‘social justice’. The programme itself was crap, nothing illuminating on the environment, just a call to arms to ‘protest’.
How soon before we rename R4? Radio Lagos in the UK, perhaps? Or would that upset the Caribbeans?
FNW,
I note another item announcer with an unpronounceable name on Toady earlier. Probably described as, ‘British’. Our, ‘Worlds Most Trusted’ must be queuing up at Heathrow/Southampton to take them on as they emerge.
Unusually for me, nowadays at least, I caught some of ‘Today’ on R4 between about 8:30 and ‘Yesterday in Parliament’ from 8:40 or so.
In the 8:30 headlines, there was something about Blacks being more likely to be affected by job losses caused by Covid restrictions; then an interview with George Eustice about food standards; next a reference to Blacks complaining about stop-and-search; finally a reasonably good poem about the wind by … wait for it … Bernardine Evaristo, who seems to be ‘soupe du jour’ at present.
This incessant promotion of the concerns of an ethnic group who are only 3-4% of the UK population, is out of all proportion to their numbers and importance. I’m fed up with hearing about them.
I think the white population will be consciously biased against certain hues because of the Marxist outfit which is part of the bbc fabric now . No licence . Ever
That would be Bernadine Evaristo, the lassie from Woolwich, yes? She won the most recent Booker Prize you know; a book called Girl, Woman, Other. It’s rather good, have you read it? I guess not. Some are saying it’s the best Booker winner for quite a few years. You should read it, you might enjoy it. And learn something.
Here is one of the stories on the BBC about the Covid infection which depressed my mum- unecessarily because it just isn’t true.
Here is a summary of it . More details on the link below
ONE of the researchers at Imperial College London has said that the study there
showed that anti bodies dropped off after a few weeks of recovery from Covid infection and this meant that even after having the virus you can get it again.
The truth is that anti bodies drop off after fter any infection.Israeli scientists say this is not related to protection against re- infection. T cell protection is imbedded in the white blood cells for life.
What it may mean is that when the we have the vaccine you may need a booster a year later like the flu injection.
I think the bbc is not only a horrible partisan activist organisation that everyone must pay for, but also a pretty naff sensationalist tabloid at times.
So, we’re now being lectured by a middle-class, Mockney actor, whose main claim to fame is that he appears in an appallingly unrealistic soap opera, that depicts the east end of London as it might have been sixty odd years ago. Let me tell you, you’re far more likely to meet native Urdu speakers in that part of the capital than any Cockneys… we’ve all moved out.
This luvvie has got the bleedin’ gall to lecture us about the sort of “real people” we need running the country.
Eastenders is about as realistic as Star-Trek and Danny Dyer is about as real a Cockney as I am a bloody Zulu.
I just hate being lectured by luvvies, whether it’s Emma Thompson, flying in (first class obviously) to wag her finger at us about climate change, or gormless pillocks like Dyer, who believe their own publicity blurb.
I don’t care if our political leaders go to Eton, Rugby or Bash Street Comprehensive. All I require is that they are competent.
GW
“”we need some working-class people, people that have lived a real life” to get involved in politics”
WTF?
Every time I do some research on a Labour MP it’s the same story.
#1 Left wing school.
#2 University – BA in underwater knitting.
Leader of Labour group at “uni”, successfully pushed for a real academic to be sacked because they did not worship the great god Karl.
#3 Researcher for the Labour Party.
#4 Local Councillor.
#5 Candidate for Parliament in a safe Labour seat, which she had to find on a map.
#6 Elected on to the gravy train.
Where she demonstrated, repeatedly, that she had the IQ of a goldfish.
Real life! IDTS.
Only found in the Conservative Party where many have business experience, risking their own money.
As I am looking up how extra black programming seems to extending beyond Black History Month
a trailer for tomorrow comes on
The Twitter picture shows another black face.
Or did originally, maybe the BBC changed the preview image
Next Wednesday’s 9am Radio4 show
“Are American approaches to combating racism worth trying in Britain?”
Both panellists are black
: Policy researcher Kimberly McIntosh (Strange they don’t mention that she writes for the Guardian, hatey articles against Tories)
: and journalist Tom Owolade (who calls out lefties)
Morning ITV had 3 non white anchor presenters , Morning BBC had non-white outside reporters, so how they can justify the argument that the BAME community is not represented is beyond me.
(I see fatty Boulton is on a diet, he’s practically wasting away 🙂 )
The BBC morning news had the head honcho of Heathrow Airport on. The dusky BBC newsreader informed him gleefully and forcefully that Heathrow was no longer the busiest airport in Europe.
(….bit like saying that everyone off ill is no longer at work!)
I think she was really expecting and hoping for him to go into a Brexit rant but he avoided and mumbled that after the pandemic Heathrow hoped to regain the position.
She didn’t follow up with the positive effects on London’s air quality of course, Brexit trumps everything!
Yes they often seem to forget the environment when there is a chance to blame Brexit for something. Suddenly they go ultra pro business, and who cares about the externalities. Weird that.
TOADY Watch #1 – if Autumnwatch is back, I guess I had better look sharp
Listened to some/most of the first hour this morning, switched off to avoid being propagandised and forgot to switch back on at 8 a.m. again for the big interview. Oh well, BBC’s loss, my gain; had a cuppa and some breakfast in peace.
I am surprised at the ignorance of Beeboids at times.
JustRemainIn Webb if I recall correctly has been BBC North America Editor. As such he must have attended receptions and events at the UK Embassy in Washington. He really ought to know that an Embassy is not necessarily regarded as ‘foreign soil’ but is very defintely, along with Consulates, the place to make application for asylum. You do not have to stand on the soil of the country you wish to enter and reside in, to make an application for asylum.
In fact the rule exists, that you should make an asylum claim in the first safe country that you manage to enter. The route for that is via the Embassy or Consulate. Think this is known as The Dublin Convention.
That was the misleading impression given on the TOADY programme this morning following the news of another tragic drowning of boat people who were acting as illegal immigrants to the UK after help from traffickers: you have to stand on British soil to apply.
No.
That is untrue.
A lie presented by the BBC, a ‘trusted’ broadcaster?
They are the operators of a large number of newspapers and news sites across the UK including a large number of outlets deemed as a tad right of centre such as The Daily Mail, Express etc.
At sometime I must have registered with one of their sites, probably to comment etc.
Today I had an unusual and unexpected email notification to say they were changing their terms and conditions.
I then noticed a new line in the conditions whereby they are saying they will allow the full sharing of my information…
• To manage our business and to comply with the law.
Now call me suspicious but I smell a rat……
Especially if I read this new para in the terms…
“We will disclose your information and co-operate with appropriate bodies and authorities in good faith where we are required to by law, a court order, a regulatory authority, or otherwise, including with the police, trading standards, regulatory authorities or other relevant authorities. We may share information about you with credit reference agencies.”
I’m a bit more concerned about NewsQuest UK – a wholly owned subsidiary of Gannet Inc of Fairfax Virginia that run 200+ local rag titles in the UK – and that town’s other large employer…..
I wish this woman a speedy and full recovery, but other than for propaganda purposes, why show this? Many older people’s bodies are ‘taken over’ by nasty respiratory illnesses every autumn and winter. https://t.co/QbawCdb2pb
The admission by a security guard that he had a “bad feeling” about the Manchester Arena Islamist killer but did not approach him for fear of being branded racist has been reported by the BBC.
But you have to look hard to find it. This truly shocking revelation from the official inquiry is not featured on the BBC web home page.
It is not on the U.K. news page, or on the England news page.
It is only flagged up as the third item on the local Manchester page.
Twenty-two of our own murdered as a consequence of woke brainwashing? A wake-up call? No such questions asked by the biased BBC who obviously cannot wait to move on.
No real surprise: the Rotherham and other child rape scandals would have been exposed much sooner without fears of the racism accusation, as was revealed in the report by Dame Louise Casey.
You know how the MSM goes on about being truthful and fact checking and avoiding false news ?
Welll … uk press gazette today reports the sorry tail of high level websites being caught out on a totally ficticious story about woolworths coming back to the jigh st .
Grounded on a twitter account and nothing else . Im sure the BBC reported it … screen shots all round.
So if msm pumps out lies such as this – unverified – what else are people seeing ?
#1 I guess it’s rooted in the way the media rush to copy each other
#2 The Press Gazette reports how newspapers then rushed to cover up their error by STEALTH EDITING their headline
.. this is unethical .. It’s called altering the news record
They should have a better system for demounting false stories.
I didn’t find evidence that the BBC had run the fake story.
I first saw this story on the bbc, who got it off Jimmy Hoffa’s twitter feed.
That fake news about Woolworth’s reopening might seem less important than coronavirus or political disinformation – but it reveals a lot about how falsehoods spread online!
BBC Headline – See the battle with Covid-19 inside Londonderry’s Altnagelvin Hospital – one of the busiest in the UK.
A extract – For one day we observed Altnagelvin Hospital’s fight against the virus – just one 12-hour window into a pandemic which is now into its ninth month.
There was talk of staff burnout, post-traumatic stress disorder and coping with depression.
Almost like an army coming back from a war, these hospital workers are feeling the impact of Covid. And the battle isn’t over yet.
To fill rotas and to ensure colleagues and wards are not left under-resourced, many nurses are working five consecutive days of 12-hour shifts.
They are supposed to work one week of four – the next week three. They say that rarely happen.
Oh dear, poor sods, no time for Tik tok !!! Shame they didnt ask them how their workload has been for the past 3-4 months !!! You know, with NOTHING happening at the NHS.
BBC will be promoting clapping again soon and priority shopping etc.
So he can afford to be charitable with his easily earned money. But listen up everyone, if he were not of a black colour how newsworthy would he be against this issue? Nil. Indeed the the news should be with the people who so generously give their time into running Food Banks. Trust the next honours list will include such folk.
……….make that £200,000 a WEEK which is reportedly his 4 year deal he, or more likely his agent, negotiated with Man U last year. With bonuses, personal appearances etc he is likely to earn around £250,000 a week so just one week’s pay is £100k more than the PM’s ANNUAL salary. £13,000,000 a year although less tax etc and the usual Premiership players toys should still leave enough to make a substantial contribution to his free school meals campaign – is there any news on that?
Hopefully Real Madrid or Juventus will step in and buy Rashford (particularly if Man Utd fail to achieve anything)
He can then take his campaign to Europe and it would be interesting to see reactions there to free school dinners, paella or bolognaise. I guess they may suggest none too politely that he returns home again, with an ‘Off’ at the end.
I have to agree, as a Utd supporter I would sell both him and Pogba tomorrow.
Rashford is now managed by Roc Nation Sports, a company founded by Jay Z, racist rapper and ex-drug dealer, who is married to the over-indulged wailer Beyonce, of “Black is King” fame/ infamy.
Their sub-division Roc Nation Philanthropy helps ” athletes, artists, partners and the company as a whole maximise the impact of charitable giving and activism by providing comprehensive philanthropic support”. Activism.
Another of their clients Aston Villas’ Tyrone Mings, not necessarily known for being especially erudite, has sent a “powerful message” on diversity to football clubs in todays Fail. Diversity of course meaning black.
Roc Nation are obviously activists from the same left-wing swamp as all the rest, the media are as usual blatantly complicit, especially the bBbc, and Marcus Radford, skilled but highly overrated and terribly inconsistent on the pitch, is merely their puppet.
Some snowflake called runcie – or rancid – as the spellcheck put up – has written a piece in the telegraph saying that Radio 4 does Halloween very well ….
………………………the comments could go better after identifying said kidult as a relative of someone big in the BBC …. and I bet she went to a decent school of the TVL dime …..avoid
Hate speech laws in Scotlandistan, says Moslim Justice Minister, Humza Yousaf, will involve prosecution of hurty hate speech at the dinner table. No sneering at Mo the prophet over Christmas dinner.
He who tried to stop Brexit, Get Jeremy elected, and more crap Labour stuff…
After the collapse of his last setup he has a new one…
“One Rule for Them” (any inference to Cummings?)
Mr McNicholas described One Rule For Them as “a grassroots political start up”, which would be “working independent of political parties with the sole focus of defeating the Tories in marginal seats”. (A bit of a contradiction in terms to begin with!)
Mr McNicholas said his new group had no formal links to the Labour Party.
“I have friends who work for Labour so I talk to people who work for Labour but the project is entirely independent. It’s me and my team of volunteers,” he told BBC News.
My Take….
Mr N is basically a Momentum Activist who has found a way to ply his trade and make money from gullible Labour bigwigs.
He comes across as a typical bitter and twisted lefty determined to seek revenge whilst at the same time making a few bob (He’s crowdfunding!)
The BBC obviously sneak in an advert for his outfit at the bottom of the home page with a suitably obscure headline.
Of course the BBC are treading carefully with this story as Mr M’s target is not white (Sunak) but they manage to get the underlying mantra though anyway!
The WA must be scrapped. The EU have already demonstrated that they signed it in bad faith and had no intentions of upholding any part of it they were required to. Therefore we are no longer under any obligation to uphold it either! That’s why we should openly rip it up to show the EU we have as much contempt for them as they have for us! Just for everyone’s sanity Boris, just do what was promised
The lying BBC tries to malign the police who shot an armed man in Philadelphia by emphasising his alleged ‘mental health problems’ in the misleading first para of their report.
“The family of Walter Wallace Jr says he was suffering a mental health crisis when officers opened fire on him.”
Leaving out the minor detail that he was also attacking them with a knife at the time.
Here a (black) ex-police officer explains, frame by frame, why they were following standard procedure in such a case, and why tasering or shooting at the aggressor’s legs was not an option.

I far from agree with all the politics on here but that’s ok, its discussion. I generally move in circles where nearly everyone was left and remainer and I started to have problems with it. Then I started to have massive problems with the bbc that really worried me. So I turned to this site to reassure myself.
Sky News host Chris Kenny says the US media lefties who have been saying there is no way President @realDonaldTrump will be re-elected are starting to realise he has a “very clear path to victory”.https://t.co/3aks5EvuKm
“There’s no doubt that the polls in the key swing states are close,” Mr Kenny told Sky News host Paul Murray.

As for opportunist Starmer saying the drownings are “truly heartbreaking” – does one so blithe to sell out his own country and people in pursuit of personal gain expect us to believe he has a heart?

By banging on about people's skin colour makes YOU part of the problem! Skin colour, whether it's green, blue, black or white is utterly irrelevant. And you really need to stop using the word 'community' – it's divisive, and it's anti-social #oneplanet#onespecies@ukhomeoffice
The BBC are all over the US cops shooting another knife-wielding black man tonight.
No mention of the knife or the violence and danger the police faced trying to restore order, to the BBC it’s another instance of Trump-supporting white police brutality to ram home as hard as they can.
The BBC is right behind the “black” cause, ignoring or accepting murder, looting, violence, torching, disorder etc. even accepting that more black people might lose their lives as a result in the cause. The only thing they are focusing on is that even if black people don’t actually go to the White House and drag his bloody corpse into the street, they must get to the polls and vote Trump out.
My guess is that the BBC would love to see this violent disorder come to the UK even if it means cars and offices burning in W1.
Demented, deluded fools!
It’s stomach-turning in its utter swivel-eyed craziness.
They refuse to consider that the USA might be in a new dark place if Biden wins.
On the news tonight Clive Myrie reported from America that black activist Bruce Franks Jr. was arrested for “taking part in a peaceful civil rights march”.
I very much doubted that “taking part in a peaceful civil rights march” had recently become a crime so I did a quick Google search.
He was arrested for:
1. Aggravated assault on a police officer.
2. Participation in a riot.
3. Resisting arrest.
4. Trespassing.
5. Soliciting others to commit criminal offences.

BBC Moaning Emole of course has a ‘quote’…

Channel deaths ‘a wake-up call’
***

But I think we DO know why.

Beam me up, Scotty!

AISI, various business sectors and industries may be in trouble from the Pandemic or the digi-revolution but there is one sector that is thriving.

it’s worse than that.

Without going through the list again but briefly…
Pasta and Sauce followed by apple and custard. Total £1.90
Soup, ham sandwich, an apple and a chocolate bar . Total £1.40.

What it may mean is that when the we have the vaccine you may need a booster a year later like the flu injection.
http://ch7.io/cbgY6
Why should pensioners pay for a service to be made more anxious and unhappy by stories that not only don’t offer hope but are not true..
Oops – should read “even after havng the vaccination” and NOT “even after having the virus”
” Not true” should read ” only tell half the truth”

Obviously the purpose of that story was to implant the idea of not only one, but annual toxic vaccinations.

Alas…

Anyone heard of Reach PLC?

Concrete,
I have to agree, as a Utd supporter I would sell both him and Pogba tomorrow.
Diversity of course meaning black.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8886307/Tyrone-Mings-warns-black-players-NOT-sign-clubs-havent-joined-new-diversity-code.html
Roc Nation are obviously activists from the same left-wing swamp as all the rest, the media are as usual blatantly complicit, especially the bBbc, and Marcus Radford, skilled but highly overrated and terribly inconsistent on the pitch, is merely their puppet.

“We don’t really consider ourselves a traditional agency – we really are a movement.”
Apparently, according to him, they are focused on ” protecting and defending those who can’t protect and defend themselves”.

I see a Mr Adam McNicholas is surfacing again…
The BBC obviously sneak in an advert for his outfit at the bottom of the home page with a suitably obscure headline.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-54706214

2. Participation in a riot.
3. Resisting arrest.
4. Trespassing.
5. Soliciting others to commit criminal offences.
