“West Midlands Police has secured a closure order for a shisha lounge after its second major Covid-19 breach in weeks.
The order was issued to Kasablanca in Highgate, after the police found more than 150 people still inside the venue at 1am on 24 October.
The shisha lounge had already been fined £10,000 for an earlier breach.
West Midlands Police said video showed how people poured out of the venue when officers broke open the doors after being refused entry.
“We found crowds gathered inside with no social distancing. The order is reviewed every week by the local authority, and the venue will have to have prove it is complying with the law before it can open again,” the police force said.
West Midlands Police said it had also issued a venue in Sandwell with a £10,000 fine last week for flouting COVID-19 restrictions.
Police were called to Viollet Salon in Smethwick on 10 October following reports that a large wedding was taking place.
“When we arrived, we found up to 70 people inside with no regard to the current legislation,” West Midlands Police said.
Chief Superintendent Andy Beard said: “It’s unacceptable that these businesses continue to flout the law, putting lives at risk and increasing the risk of infections as this deadly virus continues to spread.
“This is a difficult time for everyone, but we won’t be able to control this pandemic and return to a sense of normality if this continues to happen.
“We all need to help stop the spread of coronavirus, and no one is above the law when it comes to that.”
“A shisha lounge has been stripped of its licence after breaking Covid-19 regulations and having a “complete disregard for the law”.
The Soin Lounge, on Oxford Road, in Denham, Buckinghamshire, was told it would no longer be able to keep or sell alcohol by the local council.
Buckinghamshire Council said the licence holder Moyn Uddin had a “cavalier attitude” to the law.
Mr Uddin did not challenge the “overwhelming” evidence against him.
The venue opened in August, having taken over the former Dog and Duck pub.
Neighbours reported allegations of “sexual indecency”, “violence”, and “intimidation” associated with the venue, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
There were also reports of breaches of Covid-19 restrictions around social distancing, and staying open after the 10pm curfew.”

Just been painting the walls at my workshop and only had my FM radio. As Norton and the woman who helped him have FO’ed I figured I would not have to listen to him and her trying to out-ego each other or Graham making catty remarks about how he just wants the show to end so he can go home. So I thought I’d give radio-2 another chance.
Sure enough it was a woman. Niki Chapman. First thing which struck me was there was absolutely zero wit. It was Zoe Ball part 2.
Then came the first guest. A woman (of course) publicising her new book on Veganism. She was about 18 I think and it was such low-grade, it was embarassing. Like our local radio. They both gushed about Vegan food – even informing me that boiled lentils are ‘vibrant’.
Next guest was another woman (of course). This one has written a book on ‘creativity’ which was 5 minutes of meaningless platitudes including using the word ‘incredible’ five times in the first minute. The conversation finally detriorated into fawning about famous people in the same way Zoe Ball does.
Finally, to sign off, Nikki threw out a virtue-signal by playing Bowie/Queen ‘Under Pressure’ and informed us that she ‘was feeling a bit emotional now’ when it ended.
What a complete pile of sh1t. It was like listening to children. Back to MP3’s of old Wogan shows.

Apparently he had gone bankrupt due to Hodges giving him a £10,000 fine for leaving the lights on. Feeling miserable, I then walked into the Butchers Shop. Jones had hanged himself on a meat hook. Saw the poster again, but this time it was a poster of a miserable Boris Johnson, with a two finger salute that said F*Off. I then wolk up with a jolt when I was run over by a German or Chinese Tank.

Finally, some good news? Daily number of Covid-19 deaths plummets by 22% from 1,325 to 1,035. Oddly enough, the drop of 290 in today’s figures compared to yesterday’s is not reported positively by the BBC and other news outlets. The caveat is that the number of deaths varies each day, so may go up and may go down. However, the direction of the reporting is always one way only…

So is the bubble about to burst. It may be. There is a mystery about what happened to the CIA servers inside the US Consulate in Frankfurt. Was it a false flag by the bad guys. I haven’t heard anything from Trump but his team say the servers ended up with the good guys. This is important because the CIA servers will contain the only evidence of an attack by the CIA. CIA systems like Hamr and Kraken are designed to leave no evidence of Election Fraud.
So maybe the military is waiting to act after the inorgriation of Biden. That way Trump will not be President when the Insurrection Act comes into force. A peaceful transfer to Biden as a puppet under marshal law for one year. A rerun of the election, Trump versus Biden. A restoration of democracy in January 2022.
At the moment, that’s my best guess.

It’s very cynical of the BBC to tax the over 75s, who have paid for licences over many years, but expect to attract the younger generation.

Off the record – I used to do a bit of teaching of ‘adults ‘ in a past life – I hated it – but I can see how it could be an easy number for those who ‘can’t ‘…
As I have said many times, very similarto local authority employees who have honed two particular skills to the point of genius:
1) To find as many reasons as possible not to do something (favourites include: not in our remit, health and safety, data protection, duty of care, legal liability i.e. we might get sued later etc etc)
2) if they are cornered like a rat in an alleyway and finally required to do something, will shift it onto another persons desk with alarming finesse ( the usual tactic is to feign ignarance, ask another for advice, repeat a few times and then say “well as you know so much more…”
Regarding point 2 this will usually take a few weeks of pointless emails or “meetings” until whoever requires the work will either forget or give up in complete and utter frustration

( any relatively “normal” person who has attended an internal local authority meeting will truly believe they have shifted into a parallel universe, any meeting before 10am and half of them will be eating bowls of cornflakes and toast etc (and in London Boroughs garlic bread) as they have been dragged out of their beds at such an ungodly hour, whilst discussing last nights tv for 30 minutes with frequent trips back to the microwave / kitchen to restock)
I vividly remember trying to discuss an issue with one of them whilst they tried to talk whilst stuffing grapes in their mouth, and another was sitting next to be loudly cruching polo mints finishing a whole pack through the meeting
