My mother just said “I’d there was supposed to a minutes silence today”

Earlier in the R4 drama the opening scene was a London street one year ago
character “oh look everyone on our street is clapping the NHS”
… never been like that in my village.

When all this happy clappy stuff was occuring I read somewhere that you could use this to your advantage. If you was splitting up with your Wife or Girlfriend make sure they left the house at 8pm on a Thursday, so they would think the whole street was glad to see the back of them.

Has anyone else noticed the shift in Global perception of the USA in the past few weeks? It’s becoming like a ship that has lost it’s rudder. The right pointing out the decline in the Countries standing and the left with their fingers in their ears cheering on any rag-tag pressure-grudge group they can.

I fear that the once great Country has fractured and is beginning to disintegrate. Maybe the power brokers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes actually planned that this would happen?

Biden is practically useless and surely it can’t be long before he is replaced with one of the commissars waiting in the wings.

I think if another election were to be held now it would sweep Biden and his cohorts away.

I just hope he continues with this non-leadership to ensure the Dems get nowhere near the driving wheel again.

I would guess the USA is nearing a massive slump, sad after all the work put in by Trump. Lets see how that goes down with the voters.

I disagree about the outcome of another US election . Biden would win by a landslide – he’d get at least 105% of the vote .

How it goes down with the voters doesn’t matter – their vote has no value and – incredibly – it appears that a sizeable number have accepted it .

Biden can be a stuffed dummy cum the next election – what he says or does – doesn’t matter ….

And I doubt whether Kamala Harris is really primed to replace Biden. If Biden goes, she could be the paper figurehead, but the notion of an elected POTUS has been removed. God knows who is in charge, but it is not someone chosen by the voters.
I wish my US friends could grasp this, as they are thinking of Trump standing again, as if elections were to return.

If one accepts that Biden won the election fairly then clearly he isn’t the man that they thought they were voting for.

No-one wanted the cackling, lying witch, but the electorate don’t get to choose the V-P per se.

The American people should be able to vote again as the contents of package they have been given doesn’t match what was on the label.

          GWF,

I think that some of the American electorate know this already, the traditionally independent and Republican Texans might well be the first to float the idea of secession from the United States amongst their voters.

Their energy industries under threat, illegal immigrants, drugs and weapons being dumped in their towns and cities, placing their lives and livelihoods at risk, attacks on their religious beliefs, their characters, their morals and governed in a heavy-handed manner by a detached and metrocentric Democratic party, itching to scrap the 2nd Amendment and any freedoms it ensures.

If Texas and others like it can self-govern and self-finance or amalgamate with other similarly-minded Red states why wouldn’t they? They must be considering it.

    Covid positives by age group
    Clear effects
..groups recently vaccinated : positives halved
    .. Middle aged, positives same
.. School age 40% higher (some will be false positives, some will equal cases that were never detected before, but show up due to increased testing)
    Today’s cases/deaths are 1% higher than 7 days ago

If fewer people in the older, vaccinated groups aren’t catching Covid then the percentages of the other groups must increase so as make up the 100%.

Personally I wouldn’t waste any time on any of these ‘statistics’ – absolute numbers of elderly catching Covid might go down because:
      1. Most of that group are now dead.
      2. The weak have been killed off and the strong aren’t going to catch it ever.
      3. The vaccine works.
      4. Aston Villa lost to Tottenham Hotspur.

“It is important for the health of the whole nation that the maximum numbers possible take up the vaccine. Unfortunately, there are a great number of undocumented persons who are unable to come forward to receive their jab. Therefore, purely in the interests of the country’s health the Government is offering an immediate no-strings amnesty to all non-citizens. We realise that this may not be enough to encourage all to come forward so we will incentivise them by providing all that agree to take the vaccine with guaranteed social housing in the area of their choice, an income equal to the national average wage, permission to bring in their immediate and extended families, free education for all relatives under the age of 35 and, of course, free health care”. Obviously I made this up but what’s the bet that something like it has been suggested by our caring Civil Service and would be welcomed by the beloved BBC.

Long account of the Bristol Riots
First thing : s that it was a proper burn and destroy riot
wheras the Capitol event wasn’t that was a couples of grades down
yet it was labelled “violent insurrection.

    Daytime
Broad spectrum of naive people, thousands Although I could wholly sympathise with the cause of the protest, it was pretty disappointing to see that nearly everyone I spoke to didn’t have much of a clue what they were talking about. The people holding placards saying ‘KILL THE BILL’ or signs about Boris Johnson and Priti Patel were completely stumped – literally almost speechless – when I asked about the actual details of the legislation they were protesting against.

    Night-time : Proper rentamob 500-1000 people
I rushed back down at around 7 pm, when it began kicking off,
around 500 people gathered around Bridewell police station in central Bristol. Many had managed to climb onto a large wall next to the entrance.
hooded .. balaclavas to conceal their identities.
repeatedly throwing rocks, bottles, missiles, fireworks and any other objects they could find at the entrance to the police station. The heavily reinforced glass at the entrance of the police station was slowly breaking more and more every time an object was launched at it. Every time there was a new crack, there was a huge cheer from the crowd.
they mainly came across as young, angry, and drunk.
    with a sinister, violent edge.

On her Telegram channel, Loomer wrote, “Source tells me shooter carried out attack in the name of ISIS. Biden admin has already given orders to keep it under wraps to avoid conversation in the media about Islamic terrorism and reversal of trumps travel ban, which the terrorist was opposed to”.

Speaking to National File, Loomer explained that her source is embedded in Boulder, Colorado law enforcement, and spoke to her on condition of anonymity. Loomer explained that the Biden administration was briefed on the shooter’s allegiance to ISIS, and is attempting to contain the information for fear of a second immigration scandal.

Just been checking which comments the BBC moderators have removed today.

Seems any mention that Welsh Labour may loose the next election is a reason for the comment to be removed.

The BBC have gone full on North Korea.

@Tabs do they have any excuses ?
#1 The topic is Covid: Wales deaths”
So they could argue that elections is OFF TOPIC
#2 They could plead there are election purdah rules

But #3 But they do allow anti-Tory posts
      “Ganymede 20:19
I can assure the Tory posters on here your numbers are over represented as a proportion of Welsh voters
On here you buddy up and clap one”
      etc.

Very useful – good evidence of the BBC political support – much more is welcome .

Im opening the midweek thread with tje news that Nut Nuts’ husband had told the 1922 committee that he hopes the BBC could become more in tune with the British .
The DG thinks that having the union flag atop TV Centre is enough … dolt .

And whereas MSM patronise BAME by only airing “the left kind of blacks” TP-UK do have regular vids from BAME non-wokemob like Mr Londoner.

..they then just hired a BAME editor
except before she started they fired her for 10 year old non-woke tweets Mark Dice’s thread

      Since that front seems quiet
maybe payments and non-disclosure agreements were made.
