Fedup2, it was still 24 hours. Your perceptions were manipulated much like al beeb wishes to do.

In any event, the bBc is out if control and needs to be broken up into “subject matter” enterprises. Let the profit making bit do as they like – without recourse to public funds, and let the news and public service parts continue with a much smaller publically funded trough to feed from.

Piers Morgan calls for end of ‘cancel culture’…
“She (Meghan) is just one of many whiny, privileged, hypocritical celebrities who now cynically exploit victimhood to suppress free speech, value their own version of the truth above the actual truth, and seek to cancel anyone that deviates from their woke world view or who dares to challenge the veracity of their inflammatory statements,” Morgan wrote.

“No, it’s about a far bigger issue than one delusional duchess, and that’s everyone’s right to be free to express our honestly held opinions, forcefully and passionately if we feel like it.”

BBC mind think has crept in everywhere now. Even ITV, SKY and many Newspapers such as The Times now bend to the inevitable legal consequences of resisting the ‘truth’ that George Orwell warned us all about in 1984.

Although not a Piers Morgan Fan. I am with him on this that Meghan is a serial Royalty abuser and self focused woke fantasist.

Well great, but isn’t this a case of the pot calling the kettle black? He’s renowned for blocking people he disagrees with…

He’s also a blustering bully. Look at the way he treated Tommy Robinson, Katie Hopkins and Piers Corbyn. His “interviews” with Matt Hancock were too painful to watch.

I’ve got to be honest, I absolutely loathe this repulsive creature with a passion.

He’s a loud, arrogant, gobshite of an opinionated bully. A foul creature. He doesn’t “interview” people, he lambasts them. He’s a tabloid shock-jock and one of the worst “journalists” in Britain.

Rumour has it he might be going to the BBC.
      Best place for him…

I agree with you. I don’t get up early enough to watch GMB so have never seen him ‘perform’, and he’s not my cup of tea, but he was the first one to call out Ms Markle on her ‘inaccuracies’ , – quite rightly, and only after he did so vehemently , did other journalists gradually start reporting the inconsistencies in that interview.

Of course he’s not immune to his own lapse of memory – writing in his column in a disparaging way of Gary Lineker, then 2 weeks later informs the reader that he spent a convivial evening at a restaurant in LA in the company of……. Gary Lineker !

It not cancel culture but the lying culture that has to stop. We will know when lying culture is dying when the Climate Change Big Lie is acknowledged as a lie.

This Climate Change lie hides behind Science, and has consequently debased the entire philosophy that underlies science – truth without fear.

As long as this continues, it will destroy whatever remains of free inquiry that is still left in the West. Its nothing short of insane that the staged speeches of an uneducated teenager, possibly autistic, is taken as the leading light of defining energy policy in the West.

NB: The East with China, Japan, and Korea, are now the acknowledged centres of manufacturing in all domains of industry. Consequently, all ground breaking research and development is going to come from there. If we go chasing the lie of Climate Change, we will consign ourselves to mediocrity. Future generations will regard this one as insane.

Same with the military. Its main purpose has to be the defeat of any threat against the UK. Its not supposed to be a Woke entity, full of the “right” mix of identities.

      https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2021/03/tucker_carlson_exposes_the_dangers_of_the_biden_military.html

Tucker is at the end of the article.

So it is with the police. The police has to have the respect of the community it serves. The majority community is White. The muscle of the police has to be White men. To appoint women and minorities will do nothing but make a bad situation worse. It insults men who have to do the dirty jobs.

Moreover, its unlikely that Hindus and Sikhs will trust a Muslim cop, and vice versa. Or even trust one of their own, such is the distrust within a minority itself.

      Same in the military.

Drag Race UK: Bimini Bon Boulash mural painted over
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-56555337

When is it a work of art, and when is it graffiti?

Does it depend if it’s the work of a self appointed ‘artist’ (yay!), or merely a ‘vandal’ (boo!)?

Or are these just phases of a non-binary spectrum, and we can all choose to be whatever we want to be, like gender?

Is it really earthshatteringly important, or merely another example of the ‘Emperor’s New Clothes’ overhyped by an obsessively fixated (and frankly rather loony) media?

These are questions I ask myself every time the latest ‘masterpiece’ by Banksy mysteriously appears to grace some lucky wall.

Not as clear cut as that.

Graffiti is more than vandalism, it is criminal damage under the Criminal Damage Act 1971. And, yes, graffiti could well amount to CD. In Hardman v Ch Constable of Avon & Somerset, D drew a large painting with water soluble paint. Rain would eventually have washed it away but the council incurred expense in having it removed.
In trying to remove a car clamp, the car owner damaged the clamp. He was found guilty of Criminal damage.
Naturally, CD is not in vogue at present having been surplanted by the likes of Hate Speech coupled with the attitude now, Criminal Damage? ‘anything goes’.

As an aside to this story, in 2010 Camden Council re-named an alley way ‘Billy Fury Way’ in honour of the late singer. (My mum is a big fan of Billy.)
A mural of Billy’s face was painted at the West Hampstead end of the alley way – it’s a squalid, rubbish-strewn s***-hole, btw. The mural was so plagued by grafitti it was painted over black before being re-painted with Billy’s face, as per this story from August 2018:
      http://camdennewjournal.com/article/new-mural-of-singer-marks-billy-fury-way-in-west-hampstead
I happened to be passing just a few weeks later in Sept ’18, and it looked like this again:

Gee whiz, do you think maybe the locals object to having a picture of a Dead White Guy on their turf?
I don’t want to get into the argument about such ‘public art’ but the subject here is the BBC’s attitude. I would suggest that Billy Fury is a far more culturally important figure than Bimini Bon Boulash. Did the BBC raise ‘The Sound of Fury’ over Billy’s defacement? Not as I remember.

I have been reading the BBC article about Mozambique
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-56557623
and what struck me as I read was how flat it is. It is designed to avoid giving you negative feelings – talking mostly about people who escaped and survived with a kind of ‘Dunkirk spirit’. Yet it must be one of the worst and most barabaric attacks in recent years. The beach was littered with bodies – many decapitated. Just try to imagine the blood and gore as these people hacked and sawed their heads off with knives in the name of Islam. No other reason. It made me think of the highly charged wording they used for the ‘deadly Capitol riots’ where one single protestor got shot by a security guard. The only deliberate death.
Now I check and this monstrous act has been relegated to a small sub-story after only a few hours. It will off the front page completely by tomorrow. Swept right under the carpet.
The word ‘terrorist’ was not used. They are ‘Islamic Militants’.
They call it ‘The Forgotten Crisis’. When an attack like this is the headline for just a few hours before being hidden from view, we can see why. It’s because the BBC just want victims. They don’t want any spotlight on what Islam really is.
The double standards of the Left in the face of their agenda disgust me beyond words.

Just heard part of the BBC Radio 4 programme (TWatO ?), where some guy, commissioned by the Mozambique government, has been running helicopter gunships into the interior to rescue victims of ‘Al Shabab’, a local terrorist group (not to be confused with the other ‘Al Shabaab’, a group of Muslim Terrorists around the Horn of Africa, we are usually admonished by the BBC). He has been commissioned to do this because the Mozambique Army has been basically AWOL in its totality, we are told.

The guy being interviewed constantly refers to the terrorists as, well, ‘terrorists’. This word never escapes the lips of the Beebette conducting the interview of course, who is extremely careful not to denigrate this bunch of crazed thugs, murderers, beheaders, rapists, etc. The best we get is ‘insurgents’.

I wonder just exactly how bad you have to be to be labelled a ‘terrorist’ by the BBC ???

Silly me – for the BBC, all you have to be is a white protestor these days.

Seven blatantly anti Brexit stories appear right out of the page telling any fool daft enough to read them just how bad Brexit is going. They range from the police losing access to date, yawn, to NI protocol the EU going to take legal action against us, so what, to delays at the border, inferior health options etc. Forgot whether I’m allow to swear on here but sod it, already banned from twitter so going let a bit of steam off here. Is there no excape from identity politics?

Is it now, like corona viruses always were, always with us?

One asks oneself this on a morning when one’s internet browser unnecessarily – and somewhat ahistorically – tells one: ‘Behind every movement is a group of remarkable women who need to be celebrated‘ (Firefox)

Really? I need to be moved to celebrate on this dull Monday morning? Anyway, that sounds awfully similar to that hoary old saying “Behind every great man is a great woman”

Women, you’ve got to love them and all that, but… oh, apparently not necessarily…

BBC: ‘Norwich Pride: City march called off again over coronavirus concerns‘ – I’m sure had this event gone ahead it would have been fabulous. Thank you for telling me, BBC. I kind of… just finger in the air guessing here… would have assumed a postponement these days. Remembering the 1970s Burt Renolds (fantastic moustache, by the way) movie Deliverance, if there’s one thing worse to be prompted to think about at breakfast time than man love, it’s rural man love. Just joshing. Some of my best friends are farmers.

Since I’m busy offending all and sundry, I ought to pick up the Guardian frontpage here and note the feature: ‘Unlock the frocks. Dressing for a social life not the sofa‘ – some one has to say this – whilst it’s good to see women encouraged to put on something feminine – like a dress – and all best wishes to the non-zero size model the Guardian picks – I’m sorry but she looks just like she’s wearing a sofa.

In further sofa news: ‘Ex-mistress reveals she and Johnson made love on a sofa...’ (Daily Mirror)

Hey, thinking of sofas… DFS, I’ve got a new slogan you could use – ‘Sofas, any colour you like, so long as it’s BAME’

I’m not sure the Labour-supporting Mirror will find this form of attack cuts through with the public like it once did. We know Boris is a shagger and that’s already factored in to our opinions.

On the other hand there’s the endless wellness trash and psycho babble being pumped out in the media day after day: ‘How to handle chronic uncertainty. The foods OK past their use-by date. Plus more advice on your health and wellbeing‘ (“News” care off my i-phone pop up) – what am I, six years old? Stop telling me how best and when best to wipe my own bloody posterior… sorry about that unpleasant image, what with the pandemic and gay pride postponed – you must all be pulling your own hair out – what with the barbers being shut.

PM’s new drive to help Britons live longer‘ (Daily Express) – which I’m not so sure was the job description. Get Brexit done – yes. Personal wellness instructor to the masses – not so much.

Boris? He couldn’t keep his hands off me…‘ (Metro) – I know how you feel, luv. That gag never gets old. As the sadist said to his victim. ‘American lover who Johnson gave £126,000 of public money to confirms a 4-year affair‘ – a mere 126 large in a crony capitalist contract… that’s pretty small beer beside the likes of G4S, Serco and the like. And don’t even get us started on the big pharma vax deals.

It’s not often you see the word England outside of a sports context these days – so if you couldn’t be bothered to know that the nation that was the very cradle of team sports had squeeked a win at football against a minor backwater Balkan province, then you know what to do – as I’m sure many even fairly avid football fans did yesterday – look away now: ‘Albania 0 : England 2‘ (Metro)

I do like to give credit where credit is due. I like the headline in the ‘i‘: ‘Hooray Harry. Kane goal inspires victory in Albania

There’s also some peculiar celeb messaging in the ‘i‘ today: ‘Can you only connect?‘ asks Victoria Coren. And no, this is not a question about the grindingly slow lifting of lockdown restrictions on social gatherings (as the no doubt disappointed Norwich gays would testify): ‘Take on TV’s toughest quiz: 10 questions inside

Apropos of difficult TV challanges – another former BBC flagship is sinking fast: ‘Line of Duty has become a slog. Viewers may be tempted to throw in the towel‘ – cautions Anita Singh in the Telegraph. Don’t say I didn’t warn you hereabouts when I noted the excessive hype about this show.

Back to another of those strange celeb pronouncements in the ‘i‘: ‘Ray Mears: I want to rewild the human spirit‘ – steady on, Ray. I know it’s been over a year now but keep a grip on yourself, man.

Iranian-born British female comedian Shappi Khorsandi (I hear there’s not much of a market for her calling back at home – so it’s just as well she’s landed up in Britain) says: ‘I thought I’d had a heart attack. But I was just being a pillock‘ – further comment would seem superfluous, as I like to say.

What was that Fawlty Towers line spoken by the Major that BBC had to cut? It went something like – ‘The strange thing was, throughout the morning she kept referring to them as BAME. “No, no, no,” I said, “You can’t call them BAME. These people are…? ”.’ Which is pretty much the headline in the Telegraph this morning: ‘Scrap use of BAME label, race board tells Johnson‘ – and quite what the alternative would be I can’t yet tell you. But if there’s one thing you can rely on these days it’s that the BBC will put you right soon enough. It’s a public service you know.

As they never usually wear formal suit jackets on this programme there can only be one conclusion. A deliberate hostile and not so subtle suggestion that the flag could be used to blow your nose into and two fingers up to the people who dare criticise them but who pay their salaries.

This is just insulting childish peevish behaviour and it’s high time the BBC grew up and took a long look at itself

However, if they’d revealed that Johnson admits “year long lockdowns have been a catastrophic failure. Economy is on its knees. There’s going to be mass unemployment. Hancock and Whitty must go immediately” Blimey, I might consider buying a copy.

No doubt there will be large numbers of vexatious ‘complaints ‘ from the start because deep down these lefty troll type fools know how frail and shallow their views are ….

The BBC had Mohamed Shaheen on the ‘Today’ programme, an MEP and member of some European health body.

He literally just lied his way through an interview by Martha Kearney, with comments like the following (some of which I have paraphrased to cut through the crap he spewed).

“I believe EU has a problem with vaccination – and the name is AstraZeneca” . But AZ has done nothing wrong, there’s absolutely no evidence to support this theory – sorry, this lie.

“AstraZeneca has been breaching its contracts with the EU”. No evidence has been produced anywhere to support this claim – and if the evidence were available – why hasn’t it been produced, and further, why has AZ not been taken to court ? There is only one reason – this is a lie.

“I’ve had the privilege of looking at both contracts (really ? how ?), and most lawyers say AZ has breached it’s contracts, and there’s no difference between AZ contracts with the UK and those with the EU.” Who are these ‘most lawyers’, because I’ve never seen or heard of this vast number of lawyers that believes this at all. Basically, a lie.

“The EU has exported a large number of vaccines…” – actually the vaccines exported from within the EU do not belong to the EU – so the EU has exported no vaccines at all. However, companies operating inside the EU have been fulfilling contracts with other nations because these other nations put up the money and the commitment, which the EU failed to do until it was too late. The claim that the EU is exporting vaccine doses is just a lie.

It’s shameful that Boris Johnson has claimed that greed and capitalism played such a role in the UK’s vaccination strategy…” Actually Boris said nothing of the sort (he was actually saying -very badly – these sorts of factors play a part in any successful enterprise – because, without motivators such as profit, there is no incentive to spend billions in any form of R & D.) But hey, yet another lie.

He claims that the profit motive (‘greed and capitalism’, as the film ‘Wall Street’ might put it) have no place in the world and especially not with a pandemic in place. Hmm….AZ, a terrible company in his view, is making this vaccine at cost, around the world, and has allowed other companies (e.g. in India) to produce the vaccine at no profit to itself. Shaheen ought to be pointing the finger at Pfizer and other European producers, for instance, who are making billions in profit from selling their vaccines. The UK has, in fact, as well as contributing to the development of the AZ vaccine, as well as contributing mightily to the international group which is distributing AZ and other vaccines all round the world, has lost out big-time from taxes which it would have accrued from any profits which AZ could have made, as a result of the UK’s investment. The EU, of course, will benefit from taxes on the profits made by other manufacturers. So, he’s a two-faced liar as well.

But most of my ire is directed at the Beebunny, Martha Kearney, who, pretty much without challenge, allowed this MEP to vent his spleen, and, without any evidence whatsoever, delivered a series of outright lies against AZ and the UK.

You’re supposed to be working for us, Kearney, we’re the ones who are paying your wages. Utterly disgusting, but nothing I wouldn’t expect from the BBC these days. Wait till she gets a UK government minister in front of her, and see if she doesn’t pounce like hell on any small slip, never mind a rabid bunch of lies like we had this morning from a European Parliament member.

      STARTS
Brussels bullies seek to bring Brexit Britain down to their level
Words like “reciprocity”, “proportionality” and “solidarity” can’t hide the EU’s hostility

Faced with its own incompetence, under fire from all sides, the EU Commission lashes out
On Wednesday last week (24 Mar 2021) the EU Commission announced another of its “Implementing Regulations”, which was clearly targeted at Brexit Britain.

The new Regulation, like its predecessors, has had no parliamentary scrutiny. These Regulations are diktats from the unelected Commissioners residing in the Berlaymont building in Brussels. In effect these are laws made by unaccountable technocrats.

“Export authorisations are to be refused by the Member States,” says the EU Commission, “to countries which have a large production capacity of their own, while those countries restrict their own exports to the Union, either by law or through contractual or other arrangements concluded with vaccine manufacturers established in their territory.”

“Member States should refuse export authorisations accordingly.”
      ( EU Commission, 24 Mar 2021)

Under fire for incompetence, the EU Commission lashes out
Those who purport to run ‘Europe’ from Brussels have come under increasing fire from member countries, furious at the disastrous progress on vaccinations since the Commission seized control of the whole process last summer.

This was the first time that the Brussels machine had extended its grip into the health sector to such a degree, and it used the COVID crisis to make the power grab.

With the EU machine ill-equipped, inexperienced, and institutionally slow, Facts4EU.Org saw this move by the Eurocrats as an accident waiting to happen and so it has proved.

Now Brussels is desperate to deflect blame
Last week the EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen commented on the new Regulation, saying:

“This is why the European Commission will introduce the principles of reciprocity and proportionality into the EU’s existing authorisation mechanism.”

The EU Commission defined one of its new terms as follows:
“Proportionality – are the conditions prevailing in the destination country better or worse than the EU’s, in particular its epidemiological situation, its vaccination rate and its access to vaccines.”
      (EU Commission, 24 Mar 2021)

In other words, as the United Kingdom Government has done far better than the EU Commission in rolling out its vaccination programme, the UK’s performance must be brought down to the appalling low level in the EU which exists under Frau von der Leyen’s management.

      That Dutch factory
Readers may have seen stories about a Dutch factory which the EU suspected of supplying AstraZeneca vaccines to the United Kingdom. It was even visited by the EU’s Single Market Commissioner.

It may therefore be interesting to know that this Dutch factory was only approved on Friday (26 March 2021) to produce vaccines for the EU by the ‘European [EU – Ed.] Medicines Agency’. Before that, no vaccines produced there were authorised for EU use.

If this isn’t fake news, what is?
In her statement on Wednesday, Frau von der Leyen made an extraordinary claim.

“The EU has an excellent portfolio of different vaccines and we have secured more than enough doses for the entire population.”
(Ursula von der Leyen, official statement, 24 Mar 2021)

If this were remotely true, why the need to raid factories using paramilitary police (finding nothing amiss) and then seek to impose vaccine export bans to the United Kingdom?

      OBSERVATIONS
The EU Commission claims that “the EU” has exported vaccines to 33 destinations. No it didn’t. Pharmaceutical companies did, many of them using the core ingredients imported from factories based in the United Kingdom.

It might reasonably be asked whether the level of hypocrisy and misinformation coming out of Brussels is now resembling pandemic proportions.

Why are they bothering with a trial for the accused in the death of George Floyd ? Watching the coverage of events today on the news channels, and those being interviewed for their comments, there is clearly going to be a guilty verdict, anything else will result in riots all over the country. A member of ‘the family’ maintains the defence will give a character assassination of Floyd – well that wont be hard, he was a thug, yet now he is being beatified.

Regarding the trial of the cops accused of killing Floyd George, like you I expect a guilty verdict, but the fact that the trial will be live streamed and as all can watch it might counter the likes of the BBC/CNN/ etc who cannot misrepresent the case for the defence.
There will be great embarrassment among the media and UK leaders if the defence win. Of course the peaceful riots, celeb kneels, across the UK and UK will deflect attention from the evidence.

Well, listening to reports, picking a jury isn’t going to be easy, because with all the publicity, they’ll be hard pushed to find (14) unbiased jurists, white or black. There will clearly be black people on the jury – if not a majority, and even having them there, the defence will be up the Swanee without a paddle.

The make up of the jury is in the link here, not a majority black jury but more than representative of the population. And hidden from view.
More women than men and manly young, which is most likely to favour guilty verdict.
If it is established that the cause of death was due to drugs and that the cop was carrying out a recommended kneeling procedure, and he had no racist beliefs (his wife is a person of…) then he may avoid a guilty verdict. Or, a guilty verdict might be hard for the media to support.

I think they would rather have a sort of witch trial along the lines of…. Chauvin gets shoved in a lake face down and six members of Floyds family sit on him for an hour, if he comes up alive he is guilty and put to death if not…. oh well, he was just another cop!

    • Zelazek says:

Watching the police video of the incident, I see Chauvin as simply doing what he was trained to do and as part of a team that was carrying out standard procedure. None of his colleagues indicated that Chauvin was doing anything wrong. I feel it would be very wrong for this police officer to be found guilty.

At no time during the video do you get the sense that the police are intent on a racist killing. They are clearly being very careful with a known thug and armed robber who is obviously off his head on drugs. Drugs, which we now know, that are about to cause his death. I expect Chauvin to be acquitted.

      Sopel’s reporting is a disgrace.

Covid : I’m looking at Wordometer
#1 Official cases per million (which misses loads if they are mild and you don’t test them)
    and #2 Deaths per million
It’s difficult to compare countries cos patterns of testing change
UK used to have little testing and lots of deaths
now we have lots of testing and not that many deaths

But some countries really stand out
If we divide by 1000 to get cases and deaths per 1000
UK ….. 64 case & 1.85 deaths = 3% test to death rate.. similar to may countries

    Iceland 18 cases & 0.085 deaths = 0.47%
    Norway 17 cases & 0.12 deaths = 0.7% death rate
    Finland 13 cases & 0.15 deaths = 1.1%
    Denmark 39 cases & 0.4 deaths = 1%
    Sweden 77 cases & 1.3 deaths = 1.7 %

The point is they always say “Sweden is doing badly compared to its neighbours
Yes but its neighbours are incredibly good at cases not resulting in death
Maybe even the weakest Scandinavians have good resilience
or maybe a lot of the weakest already live in Spain, so don’t show up in the stats

If it was an island effect The Isle of Man has about the same case rate of Iceland’s but that results in 4 times the death rate conversion.

At that point, he claims the man told him: “No, you can’t come in my mosque.”

“I’ve been requested to leave properties, I’ve been threatened, I’ve even had emails sent to work saying they would quite happily decapitate me on the side of the road.”

Tom says he has been on “hundreds” of calls to Muslim homes that have been free of incidents and the homophobia he experiences is in a minority of cases.

I have just been watching the 10pm BBC1 news. I didn’t realise that our schools were such centres of sexual harassment for girls and young women. I have a solution. We should split the genders and have single gender schools. Oh, I forgot; it was girls who demanded the right to attend boys’ schools.

When they want to teach 5 year olds how to masturbate then this should be more than acceptable to the lefty teachers really. Don’t know why they are so touchy about a few lewd gropes really.

A 5 year old taught by adult teachers about manipulating sexual parts has a more than even chance of growing up as an abuser at best.

Maybe if there were less ladies having lip injections to try to turn their mouths into vaginas and less tv shows dedicated to having young women judge blokes by their penis on full on display, there might be a bit more level-headed consensus on the fit and mutual respect between the two sexes?

I went to an all boys Grammar School in the sixties. Once a year we were subjected to a “Dance Gala” where we forcibly got together with the nearby Girls High School for one night. The predators at these events were always the girls I can assure you.

Its not rocket science to realise that all this ‘sexual activity’ in schools (if its as rampant as we’re made to believe) is down to social media. Before this, we only had the rare occurrence of a teacher getting a bit frisky.

Digg is spot on though, the sexualisation of nubile young female students doesn’t help matters. I’ve said it before, Mums from my generation ‘looked’ older than their years and were not their kids best friend. Todays Mums want to look like a big sister and do little to discourage their offspring from looking older than their tender years.

When I was at school in the 80s there were some pretty ‘hands on’ male teachers (some with the boys too – one PE teacher in particular), but most of us had the sense to make sure we were never alone with them.

That was the era of Jimmy Saville, and most of us were well aware what a pervert looked like, because there was one on the BBC pretty much every evening. I recall my Mum telling my sisters and me that Saville was ‘clearly’ a pervert, even back then, you could see it in the way he looked at the young girls – how could anyone NOT know what he was? I still don’t believe his ‘handlers’ at the BBC didn’t know what he was up to.

Anyway, back at school a few boys liked to boast about their ‘sexual conquests’ (more imaginary than real, I’m 100% sure), but if anything it was the girls who were more active that way – girls generally grow up earlier, and it was the era of the ‘teenage mum’, and I’m pretty sure some had a mental checklist of potential ‘baby daddys’ worked out by the time they were 14, aiming for a flat and a govt. stipend for their 16th. More fool any boy (or man!) stupid enough to fall for that!

Then AIDS came along, and some seriously terrifying videos and talks at school, and adverts on TV. For most of us of that generation, our ‘sex lives’ were (quite sensibly really) put on hold until Uni at that point.

I swear my son (16) is scared crapless of girls, all of his mates seem to be as well, and my nephews. My sisters are seriously worried their sons are going to be gay, because they’ve all said they never want to have a relationship with a girl, or get married… ever! One of my son’s mates had a girlfriend for a while, last year, but it didn’t last more than a couple of weeks, and I’d swear it didn’t even involve holding hands. I did ask the poor lad why he broke up, and he just mumbled something about her ‘wanting it to be serious’, apparently even the thought of that was terrifying for him.

They have had some very weird and wonderful ‘sex education’ classes, which started in my son’s case when he was all of seven, and really confused him at the time. “Dad, do you and mum have anal intercourse?” was one, particularly memorable query…

That’s an outrageous headline and it’s straight from the BBC handbook of misleading propaganda.
It strongly infers guilt of an inhumane killer but doesn’t actually say it. How on Earth could the ‘cop’ know he had no pulse when restraining someone with that standard technique where people don’t usually die ?.
If Chauvin is found innocent, the headline is still true. And if this happens, does anyone think there will be any retractions and apologies ?. Of course not. There will be front page outrage leading to riots, more murders of cops by BLM and – of course – more free TV’s and trainers.
This trial will make interesting reading. I’ve already noticed the prosecution are getting emotive, lengthy paragraphs on the BBC while the defence get a couple of sentences.

George Floyd ‘fading away’* during arrest

The last harrowing minutes of George Floyd’s life have been heard on the opening day of the trial of Derek Chauvin, the white American police officer accused of killing him. Donald Williams III, a witness for the prosecution, said Mr Floyd was “slowly fading away” during the nine minutes Mr Chauvin kneeled on his back and neck. His lawyer argued his use of force was “unattractive but necessary”. Mr Chauvin, 45, who was dismissed from the police, denies murder and manslaughter charges, which carry sentences of up to 40 years in prison.

In May 2020 Mr Chauvin was captured on video kneeling on the neck of Mr Floyd, who is black, in the city of Minneapolis. This sparked protests in the US and across the world against police brutality and racism and this trial is being seen by many as a pivotal moment in US race relations.

BBC US correspondent made it absolutely clear what the BBC demands are towards the trial of the cop. Nothing less than 100% guilty will be acceptable or else!

All the hallmarks of a communist show trial in effect!

Chauvin is white, male, cop, hasn’t got a hope in hell.

I hope his mother loves him because when the BBC, NBC, CNN, NewYork Times have finished with him nobody else will.

I just hope they all meet their just rewards when they go to meet their maker and stand accused of sending an innocent man doing his duty down…

BBC moving to Manchester has made a big impact locally!
A new child sexual exploitation unit in Manchester, England, has been launched after years of failure on so-called “grooming” rape gangs.

Who would have thought it possible? Lessons will be learned (except in the BBC, get ignored). Manchester has its ‘unique’ sexual attractions for the BBC which is why they moved there. Its cheap (of course), life is cheap there, lots of drugs too.
