Grenfell : the media narrative is that it was all African
Someone just pointed out lots of white people live there
Even BAME activists say it was 37% were white
It is true that a lower percentage died, activists claim 85% of the dead were POC

    72 dead
    70 others were injured
    223 people fled
365 seems to be the total
    Some of whom were guests
How many white people lived there 135, 150 or something ?

France: Muslim migrant stabs police officer in throat, kills her, authorities not sure it’s terrorism

A female police officer was stabbed to death by a Tunisian migrant knifeman, who reportedly shouted “Allahu Akbar”, at the entrance of a police station in Rambouillet, France earlier this afternoon.
He slit her throat and was subsequently shot, while colleagues tried to help the attacked officer – who tragically died from her injuries.

Update – BBC ‘Europe ‘ section carrying ‘incident ‘ – no mention of ‘Alan’s snack bar ‘ or description of the killer ….

..as might be expected with bias by omission

  4. Fedup2 says:

I thought – if I wanted to find out more about the killing in France today – where better to go than the R4 news at 5pm .

It led with the post office debacle – but never talked about blame .

Then – gigsy- gigsy has been charged with something … that must be more important and a killing in France then …

… I was surprised that the BBC – so enthusiastic for Europe – declines to report on a murder not far away – and much nearer than Minneapolis- a place a lot of people might not be able to pinpoint on a map …
Biased news values ? Surely not …

BBC tv news reports – for about 20 seconds – a ‘terrorist incident ‘ in France – the killer is described as Norwegian – sorry – Tunisian …….

And in other news … great British traditions – the after school fatal stabbing – Barking E16 – age of victim ? 13/14… usual thoughts , prayers , flowers …

Ah yes “French police ruthlessly murder largely unarmed, largely peaceful visitor from Tunisia” ..sarc

ah BBC lay into the real nasty person here
\\Far-right leader Marine Le Pen tweeted condemnation of Friday’s attack before details of the suspect’s identity had been made public.
“The same horrors come one after another, the same infinite sadness as we think about the relatives and the colleagues of this female police employee who has been killed, the same type of person guilty of this barbarity, the same Islamist motives,” she wrote.
      //
How dare she guess the attack would be a Muslim

Then too be fair the BBCnews does list 5 attacks by Islamists on Police

        From France 24’s website:

“French prosecutors opened a terror inquiry Friday after a police employee was stabbed to death at a station southwest of Paris by a suspected Islamist extremist from Tunisia who was then shot dead by the security forces.

President Emmanuel Macron said France would never give in to “Islamist terrorism” after the attack in Rambouillet, a tranquil commuter town about 60 kilometres (40 miles) from Paris, which revived the trauma of a spate of deadly attacks last year.

France’s national anti-terrorism prosecutors said they had opened a terror investigation, also involving the DGSI domestic intelligence service, into the murder of a person holding public authority.

A source close to the inquiry told AFP the attacker shouted “Allahu Akbar” (God is Greatest) during the attack.

Chief anti-terror prosecutor Jean-François Ricard, who spoke outside the station along with Prime Minister Jean Castex, confirmed that “comments made by the assailant” indicated a terror motive, without giving further details.

        … … …”

Death of Floyd George is evidence of systemic racism in the police so the media agree.
    Remember this case.
In August 2016 Tony Timpa was knelt on for 13 minutes by Dallas police until he died. It took the family three years to get the video released.
Watch it and ask why this death did not have our footballers taking the knee and the BBC et al going crazy about systemic racism.
Not much about it in the news was there.
    Tony Timpa had white skin.

Whilst watching the BBC news to see about the suspected Islamic terrorist attack in France – I was treated to a section on the levels of vaccination across the world …

.. you might guess that ‘ethics ‘ and ‘morality ‘ got a big mention – and I am sure the BBC is to push for Blighty to become the ‘world vaccinator ‘ .

I noticed that the ‘intervax’ or whatever the UN clearing house for vaccine distribution didn’t get a mention ……

I’m delighted that I just got my invitation for a second jab – and that – if you see the daily figures ( if trustworthy ) 400 k second vaccines and 100k first vaccines seem to be a ‘norm ‘ – the threatened April shortage seems not to have happened – yet …

Yes – mine is coming in at 9 weeks – might get my vaccine passport in time for a flight out of the UK- and not coming back if the hotel thing is still in place…

Yes mustapha – when the BBC spouts stuff about ‘morality ‘ you know they want to send our money to the third world in return for nothing .
Our morality starts and ends with ensuring the British are protected from the virus as much as possible – after that ? What’s in it for Blighty – and not just ‘thanks ‘…

Someone on Twitter said that no pharma company would ever produce something at cost price again – because to the likes of the EU that means nothing ….

Churchill doco is explaining how he lost the WW2 election
say the publics opinion changed overnight with the “Gestapo speech” warning abut socialism
When German is beaten, but Japan war needs to be finished he said
Socialism starts with the best intentions and ends with Gestapo.”
“Socialism is, in its essence, an attack not only upon British enterprise but upon the right of an ordinary man or woman to breathe freely; like having a harsh, clumsy, tyrannical hand crash across their mouths and nostrils.”
and adding that private citizens could do reform but that Labour’s state based large scale way was just not possible, cos of lack of money.

On Twitter Labour supporters quote a great paragraph where Atlee rebuts Churchill
However it seems it’s not true
cos I cannot find an actually Atlee speech which contains the phrase
“freedom for the rich & slavery for the poor”
        =============

The doco then says after the election Churchill took it on the chin
saying ‘Of course the public can choose Labour
This is what we fought the election for
.. for the freedom to choose’

Westminster bubble stuff – the swamp gets all excited – real people still worry about summer holidays -17 May – the coming end of furlough and the like – that’s my view anyway .

Personally I hope what happened with the Post Office destroying people because of a computer system they knew was dodgy – gets followed up .and that some person is held accountable .
There could be a knock on for us – because the post office undertook the prosecutions as private – in the way that TV licencing goes after good people without licences –

And if that practice is pulled in – that would be one good thing .

I owned a Post Office and if you believe that Bull about a computer system then I wonder what else you are prepared to believe when the the media spins you a yarn?

Nothing they say is true, believe nothing until you get it from a different source.

This was an orchestrated defrauding of small business owners by the Labour BLiar government.

Think about this, the figures the media has given indicate a surplus of £30 Million you think the Post Office didn’t know about this?

When they finally got to me in two main postcodes of Manchester there were just two of us left. One of the guys who lost his office was a chartered accountant and lost it simply because he filled in the car tax form weekly instead of daily.

Even those who did survive long enough to get the pittance the BLiar government paid them had it taxed to death.

This should be a major scandal, bigger than it is, but the media are protecting the Labour party yet again and hanging the Post Office staff out to dry,
No one will receive any compensation no matter what you read in the press.

Ok thoughtful – then why were they prosecuted and convicted. If it wasn’t a dodgy computer system what was it ?

I haven’t read the judgement yet but are you saying the Court of Appeal and CCRC got it wrong ?

        • StewGreen says:

@Fed you misread him. Thoughtful is alleging management orchestrated it on Labour government instruction, rather than it just being a dodgy computer system.

But come on £30m is nothing to a government.
And they only screwed a few dozen business people not thousands.

          • Thoughtful says:

£30Milion might not be anything to a government but each cash centre balances to the penny each week.

It was orchestrated not by the Post Office but by BLiars Labour goverment because they didnd;t want to pay the compensation for the closures.

Rather than an ‘accidental’ computer glitch as is being alleged, it was in reality deliberate and calculated.

So does the blame lie with the woman who was in charge of the post office ? And got a CBE when she retired ? It’s easy to say ‘Blair government ‘ but who ?

              • Thoughtful says:

Both of them. She did what she was told to do and maintained the lie for the politicians.

When BLiar destroyed the Post Office network he was pushed kicking and screaming into offering some form of compensation, he wanted to pay the subpostmasters nothing for their investments and assets, so the corrupt weasel did it a different way instead.

I see Simon Webb has pulled the video he put up this morning
“Racial Justice Officers or Race Grifters?”
It seems to have been a video into his troll Ruwan who tweets at him from multiple accounts.
Webb said he had second thoughts about doing a video that attacked the troll, cos he was afraid for the troll’s mental health.

People liked the video, I wish I’d seen it.
