Extinction Rebellion has shown little regard for people’s lives when it comes to blocking ambulances, so Guido’s not surprised to hear their protests are now affecting the vaccine rollout. Yesterday a friend of Guido’s turned up to a pop-up vaccine clinic in SW1, having booked in for their second jab. After a couple of minutes, a member of staff came out to inform the queue of around 10 people that there was a “problem with a few of the vials” and they weren’t sure they’d have enough to do everyone – all of whom had appointments.

The BBC continue to give the Imbecile-In-Chief a relatively easy ride. In one early report on his latest ‘news conference’, a BBC presenter intoned in hushed voice: “President Biden had this warning for ISK…”

Cut to the old fraud doing a laughable impersonation of Liam Neeson: “We will not forgive. We will not forget. We will hunt you down and make you pay”.
(I was waiting for him to follow up with “I have a very particular set of skills…”)

This from the man who couldn’t hunt down his cat on the White House lawn; whose military is in full shambolic rout; who’s currently crashing out of the very country from which he could “hunt them down”.
A man who can barely walk; who can’t talk without a teleprompter and even then bungles his well scripted and rehearsed lines.

Mercifully he’ll be kicked out soon, so he can go back to what he’s good at: sniffing little girls and doing crooked deals with his crackhead son.

But what then? The next two in line are even worse – laughing hyena Kamala and wicked witch Pelosi.

If that sorry shower were just taking America to hell, I wouldn’t mind too much – America voted him in (allegedly). But they’re taking the world with them.

While the BBC report, in the mildest terms, that ‘some people are criticising Biden for his handling of the withdrawal’, if you want to see the real, incandescent rage he’s provoking in some quarters, have look at Fox News or Newsmax.

TWatO Watch #1 – the lefty/liberal/socialist mind just does not compute

Very interesting and somewhat fractious ‘interview’ conducted by Lyse Doucet with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Afghanistan. It was very revealing of the complete collision between a Western Hard-Left Socialist view of the world and a man who is presumably a Muslim and represents a Muslim State to another Muslim country, Afghanistan.

I think the Hard-Left BBC Socialist view realises that their cosy liberalised victimised world is about to become seriously fragmented by terrorism. Lyse was scrabbling hard to hold on to her ‘position’.

Here’s another example of woke journalist meeting harsh reality.

This naïve female journo asks Taliban representatives whether people will be allowed to vote-in women politicians.

So far they’ve been successfully lying through their teeth about democracy and human rights etc, while just about managing to keep a straight face. But that question sends them over the edge.

While we are watching the Biden Disaster unfold – her is an extract from the DT today regarding our key subject –

THE BBC AND THE LICENCE FEE –

The BBC licence fee is in terminal decline because increasing numbers of people will refuse to pay it, the media minister has said.

There are currently 24.8 million licences in force, according to BBC figures, with that figure having stood at 25.8 million two years ago.

Moreover, around 260,000 over-75s contacted by TV Licensing have yet to arrange payment.

John Whittingdale, the minister for media and data, said he expected the downward trend to continue each year.

He told the Edinburgh TV Festival: “I think it inevitable that certain trends which are now clearly visible will continue. One is the switch away from linear viewing. The second is, in the longer term, the decline in willingness to pay the BBC’s licence fee.

“And those are going to put real challenges on all the UK public service broadcasters. So the debate about how to sustain public service broadcasting is only just beginning.”

Mr Whittingdale also discussed the potential privatisation of Channel 4 in a debate with James Graham, the playwright whose television dramas have included Quiz for ITV and Brexit: An Uncivil War. Graham warned that privatisation could lead to the UK becoming “a cultural colony to America”.

The Government has argued that private ownership could bolster Channel 4 in the face of competition from US streaming giants.

But Graham said: “I despair a bit at the idea that we have to raise the white flag on public service broadcasting because of the arrival of these majority-American online streamers.

“I adore my Netflix and Apple and YouTube. The quality of writing on these streaming platforms is incredible. The problem is, and I know this from personal experience in meetings about creating ideas for content, that because [a streaming service] has a global perspective it needs a British drama to appeal to people in Germany and China and, particularly America.

“That is going to have an impact on the idiosyncratic British worlds which Channel 4 really enjoys finding, and doesn’t massively care if a view in Idaho is going to watch it or not. We don’t want to become a cultural colony to America, which I think we will increasingly become.”

Mr Whittingdale said: “We want to preserve Channel 4 going forward and we do think this model is going to be very difficult to sustain because of the power and amount of choice available from the streamers. It’s about trying to make sure Channel 4 can continue to thrive in what will be a very different landscape to anything with which we have been familiar.”

He said that any buyers would be told that they must preserve the Channel 4 remit. ENDS

our biggest fear is that the BBC is funded out of general taxation – which a lot of less informed people would welcome because their licence tax ‘disappears ‘…. Then there would be no real accountability

The BBC have only themselves to blame . It should have been scrapped years ago when it went political.
But is their ‘swansong’ to deliberately irritate and insult the people of Great Britain and spite us with fewer and fewer white people on set and broadcast woke programmes ?
No doubt , if it does go, there will be big redundancy packages for the lefties at the top of the list.

The UK must not deport two Somalis convicted of serious crimes because to do so would endanger their lives, the European Court of Human Rights says.

The Strasbourg judges said the UK’s duty to protect the two from torture or inhumane treatment was “absolute”.

The pair, aged 24 and 42, were served with deportation orders after being convicted of burglary, threats to kill, robbery and dealing in class A drugs.

TWatO Watch #2 – is it going to be an uncomfortable Bank Holiday weekend for some Civil Servants?

Positions may or may not have to be considered. Anthony Loyd of the Times is allowed by friendly Taliban to enter the UK Embassy compound in Kabul. Loyd finds British documents scattered around and photographs them. They were job applications and included residence details of Afghans who wished to work for the British.

A report by Her Majesty’s Inspector of Prisons finds that Chelmsford Prison is on the point of collapse. The Civil Serpents on the spot have not been doing their job properly. The Civil Serpents in the Home Office have not been doing their job properly. The BBC, of course, naturally blames the Government and says they have twenty-eight days to respond.

The BBC will, no doubt, be calling for Priti Patel, the Home Secretary, and Dominic Raab, the Foreign Secretary, to be sacked by the Prime Minister. The BBC will, no doubt, not be calling for the Permanent Under-Secretaries at Foreign and at Home to be sacked. I have a suspicion this is a set-up.

KABUL, Afghanistan — President Ashraf Ghani of Afghanistan on Sunday said his government would release a last batch of Taliban prisoners, removing the final hurdle in the way of direct negotiations with the insurgents to end the country’s long war.

His announcement came after a consultative assembly where he had been advised by thousands of representatives from across the country.

The release of 5,000 Taliban prisoners, which the United States agreed to in a February deal with the insurgents that also began the phased withdrawal of American troops, faced opposition from the Afghan government, which is holding the prisoners. After prolonged pressure from the Trump administration, Mr. Ghani released 4,600 prisoners from a list provided by the Taliban but called for consultations over 400, who he said were accused or convicted of major crimes, including murder, that were beyond his authority to pardon.

Just when you thought Bidens incompetence (or maybe it isn’t and it’s more sinister) couldn’t get any worse, it turns out that the US has handed over details of all the Afghan people who aided and assisted the Americans in their time in the country, and also details what they did for them.
The Americans claim they did this so the Taleban would allow them to pass through to the airport for extraction, but what they have done in reality is handed over a kill list to their enemies.

It’s hard to think of a more incompetent thing to have done, but when you are dealing with Socialists every which way is incompetence!
The nutters encouraged Afghan Gays to be out and proud and flew the rainbow flag in Kabul – a more provocative action is difficult to contemplate, now those Gays are being hunted down by Radical Muslims who are following the instruction book!

    Berlin, Germany 2016

    Arrested German spy was a onetime gay porn actor — and a secret Islamist {washingtonpost nov2016}

“BERLIN — Two weeks ago, German intelligence agents noticed an unusual user in a chat room known as a digital hideout for Islamic militants. The man claimed to be one of them — and said he was a German spy. He was offering to help Islamists infiltrate his agency’s (In April 2016, the man began working for the BfV, assigned to monitoring potentially violent Islamists in Germany.) defenses to stage a strike.

Agents lured him into a private chat, and he gave away so many details about the spy agency — and his own directives within it to thwart Islamists — that they quickly identified him, arresting the 51-year-old the next day. Only then would the extent of his double life become clear.

It’s not only a rather bizarre, but also a quite scary, story that an agency, whose central role it is to engage in counterespionage, hired an Islamist who potentially had access to classified information, who might have even tried to spread Islamist propaganda and to recruit others to let themselves be hired by and possibly launch an attack”
