    Just a thought…

Do the Actuaries dealing with the BBC pensions have to take into account the deficit due from all those normal citizens who refuse to pay the TV tax?

There must be some anxiety in the coffers-managers’ offices at the loss of income, so the eye-watering pensions splurged out to any retiring beeboid, however leftie or incompetent, must be under some scrutiny these days!

Best idea at Scrobs’ Turrets is to remortgage, sell the debt on as Equity Release, and the kids can have what’s left after we shuffle off and the house is sold.

And we’re spending as much as we can and enjoying every minute of it! We’re still of a generation which pays the awful bbc tv tax, because as I’ve said in past posts, Senora O’Blene is not going through the nasty, worrying letters days from when Gordon Brown was bankrupting the country, and pretty damn near our own business, home and livelihood.

Sod the next generation, they’ll have more problems with crap politicians, murdering muzzies, the awful bbc and serial ‘green’ wokes, than we 70+ year-olds ever had!

(We do love our kids and grandkids, but not for so much dosh that’ll be left on the table after the will is read!)

I suppose, looking at the triple lock being scrapped, the pension being so low means whether the ‘rise’ is 2.5% or 8% the difference is only about a couple of £ per week.
One of the advantages of having just about the worst pension in the civilised world.

For those of us second class pensioners who have to get by on about £40 per week less than the newer pensioners the rise is pitiful.
Surely there must be some kind of legal discrimination case against the two types of pension.
Maybe the longer you pay in the less you get out. I paid in for 50 years but get around £40 less than the new ones who pay in for 35 years (or is it 30)

Anyway, the bottom line is that pensioners are falling further behind all the time.
The vast majority, as well as being on the second class pension are also not getting the full pension. I bet the ‘rise’ for some of them will be pennies.

The government should be grateful that covid has killed off about 120,000 pensioners thus saving £billions. (Unless they are telling us lies and this is not the mass death situation they are showing us)
Covid, the gift that keeps on giving.

Please please please will one of the real right wing parties be taken seriously and replace the current left wing ‘Tories’ we are saddled with.
Seeing all the MPs up on their hind legs talking crap in the hoc just makes me sick.

    Today’s local news
#2 “Hull Islamic Sisters NGO is gathering materials for Aghanitani refugees”

#4 “A solar park is to supply energy to Castle Hill Hospital”
    today is the 7th
Yesterday after the story ran on breakfast TV I wrote
“I wonder how many times they are going to report the story
Sept 3rd they added the story to the BBC solar news page”
They then went onto air the same story on local TV last night
The solar story isn’t even news really, the project was reported on May25th anyway
I guess the radio news guys forgot they already aired the story on Friday
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p09rx97d
One new thing is they are admitting the solar park is being built on farmland … that means food has to be brought in from elsewhere at a higher cost.

#5 BBC Make A Difference campaign story

#6 New Anlaby football fields have been built low so they can be flood runoff stores in times of river overflowing

The presenter was then keen to push experts to give Covid doom statements
‘Don’t you think it would be best to force kids to wear masks ?” etc.

That is incredible that today Tuesday the local radio 8am news
reported the same solar farm PR as if it were brand new news
Yet the really did run the same story Friday 9am after the hospital announced they had got planning permission

I had to go back and re-listen to make sure
The difference is on Friday they reported it as if they didn’t understand it, they failed to report that the actual new thing was that planning permission had been granted.

I have heard it on 4 different BBC sources
      – from 9am Friday local radio news
      – Monday BBC local breakfast TV
      – Monday BBC local evening news
      – Tuesday BBC local radio news (as if new)

But should the item be in a 3 minute local news bulletin anyway ?
Sure a huge new factory would be news
but a £11m project is hardly big news
except for BBC being addicted to pushing green-PR

The 360,000 assault weapons those commanders left are already being used by cocky Talib enforcers to dispatch any civilians who get in their way. Even by the woeful standards of a corrupt and decrepit Pentagon that should have been razed to the ground a generation ago, it is difficult to attribute what the Beribboned Boys have done to an unfortunate oversight or mere incompetence. What has happened is so at odds with rational behavior that it has to have been, in some sense, planned. As Horowitz and Greenfield come very close to saying, if the Pentagon were working for the enemy, what would they have done differently?

    2015 …

Forget how it all works … videos, words, pictures … you don’t get to choose the arrangement …

Chaos as police stop Hungary migrant train – Gavin Hewitt – BBC -Sep 2015 @53s
“… the a really distressing incident happened. A women who was carrying a small baby began crying for help (photo of lady carrying baby). One of her companions tried to help her (photo of man with women on track, riot police reaching towards them) Somehow there became a push and a shove with the police. She ended up on the railway lines (by the male refugee dragging her and the baby to the floor, but this is not said) with the riot police trying to pull her back, and this of course inflamed all the other people…”
    -Gavin Hewitt – Sep 2015

Watch the video and the male refugee (companion trying to help?) drags the women and baby to the floor, by force.

Even the Mirror (03Sept2015) says “… this refugee couple cradle their tiny baby, after throwing themselves (NO! Male refugee drags women and baby onto train tracks) on train tracks as police try to take them to migrant camps in Hungary”

Gets better. Two days (05Sept2015) later the Mirror then report it as
“Refugee who dragged pregnant wife and baby son onto train track did it because ‘death would be better’”

    1. BBC Version uses words and pictures to hide the video version
    2. The Mirror shows the video but uses words to tell a different version

Can I suggest a little story – “Male refugee forces pregnant women refugee holding child down onto a train track, police drag him away for her safety? Riot police then lift women with child off track with tender arms.”

Why is there such a moan about younger people with their potential tax increases having to fork out for the care of older people ? Jesus, it was ever thus. The younger generation will get old themselves and will need to access the care service one day – regardless of whether they inherit a property from ‘us oldies’ or not.

Did I moan and groan when I was an earning 20 year old something that I was paying for my Mum and Dad’s health treatment ? NO, it never bloody occurred to me. Once again the msm love to question irrelevancies.

But because the MSM do question it the younger generation think that they are being hard done by and justified in feeling resentful. The MSM across the West have much to answer for in the fragmentation of our society and its forthcoming collapse.

I would also add that few ‘young’ people even bother to contribute into a pension pot for later life. So they’ll expect the State pension to cater for their needs then wont they.

I was invited at age 24 (1972) to join the company pension scheme – and yes I turned my nose up as I was only earning about £18 per week, and it was a minimum of £5 per month contribution – increasing with every pay rise. I did in the end, and I soon got used to being a bit light in my monthly wage packet.
Best thing I ever did. When I retired at 58 there was this lump sum plus a good amount of pension each month. If I could do it on £18 a week, then why cant this generation on a far larger salary put a few quid away each month ?

Not directly BBC and a bit of a rant

Nut nuts decision to finally – finally – do something about adult social care has to be welcomed . Anyone who thinks that taxes are not going up – one way or another – who ever is in power – must be living in a dream .

The nut nut manifesto never made sense , how could taxes not be put up whilst things like the NHS and social care would be improved ?

I’ve gone through adult social – poor care worker quality – 15 minute visits ( as a carer ) and the prospect of paying out -£900 a week for a dementia care home …. But I’m no longer a ‘player ‘….

Me ? I’d cut a couple of billion out of the overseas give away budget and put that into adult care – I’d starve illegal immigrants and make life so bad they wouldn’t want to come here …. Instead we live in a weak coke /pepsi political system . ..with foul tasting irn brew as a healthy option …

I wonder what the next tax to increase is going to be ? My money is on VAT ….
