Midweek 1 December 2021

For some reason the BBC decided to put out a 2 hour documentary about a ‘royal rift ‘. Unusually the Palace wasn’t granted a pre broadcast showing and there was the smell of injunctions in the air .Now there are suggestions that the piece was ‘toned down ‘to avoid further confrontation with the Royal Family . Perhaps the BBC isn’t so sure of itself after all?

Ahmadis suffer vicious persecution around the world. The main source of fuel for that persecution is in Pakistan, but what happens in Pakistan does not stay in Pakistan.

I know that from my experience in the Yorkshire market town of Batley. In August 1985, when I was 11 years old, my parents organised an inter-faith meeting in the town hall. It was interrupted and disturbed when, according to West Yorkshire police, more than 1,000 extremists, led by Pakistani hate preachers funded by the Pakistani state, were bused in from around the country. The mob brutally attacked my English mother and my father, a dermatologist; my eldest brother and I; and a Welsh Ahmadi schoolteacher who was with us. My first cousin, a GP, was by chance driving through the market town that day. He saw the mob and saw his family and friends being attacked, so he stopped. He was recognised, pulled from his vehicle and savagely beaten up.

The ‘elite’ once again decide, without any authority, to change our language, values and beliefs and force another set upon us…

‘Science Museum bows to pressure after complaints Boy or Girl? display excludes transgender people ‘

But again you have to ask…are organisations such as the Science Museum transphobic? Surely removing the two genders is transphobic as it implies trans-women are not ‘women’ and trans-men are not ‘men’….which they insist they are.

Odd how if you, a real woman, insist on being called a woman you’re a hate filled bigot and transphobe but Trans-women can demand to be called women…except, er, when they decide not to be so-called….and of course they can declare lesbians transphobic because they won’t have sex with transwomen who still have their crown jewels…lol.

Oh what a glorious world the BBC et al have ushered us into.

Can’t help thinking many people look on and think maybe just maybe other countries, such as Iran, have the right idea….standing up for your values and beliefs that is.

There we have it. Omicron has mild symptoms and in all likelihood the vaccine will work against it. Maybe not 100% but probably good enough until next years booster. And lets face it, it doesn’t work 100% anyway.

The main point of course is nobody knows anything at this point.

Yet it’s being used to justify increased lockdowns and now mandatory vaccination even though hardly anyone has got it.

There is furore in certain, ahem, media today. GPs are complaining that they have to roll out the enhanced booster vaccination programme and therefore cannot see other patients.

Having been to some large vaccination centres as well as my own GP surgery (12 consulting rooms) I have yet to see a single GP give a covid jab. It’s a very simple process and a junior nurse can easily do it.

So why exactly are the GPs whingeing? Might it be because they might have to see some real patients instead of just talking about it?

When Senora O’Blene was in hospital for a few weeks recently, she missed her booster which was going to be done at a local surgery, by our lovely nurse.

I asked the staff in the hospital, if she could have the jab there, as she had enough tubes etc., sticking out in all directions, and another wouldn’t hurt – would it?

They were very sorry, and of course extremely kind and competent, but gently explained that they actually weren’t allowed to do this!

I got my wife to the local jabbery last week, and she was seen outside the surgery, in our car, again by another lovely nurse and all was well, although she had a letter a few days later from the NHS, advising her to get the jab…

Quite a lot of letters to go out, and in two pages of languages as well…

The BBC’s Mark Easton gets around doesn’t he? A man whose open support for mass immigration fills our screens most days as he lectures us on the benefits we receive as a result of mass immigration and berates us for our racist anti-mass immigration views. He attended an EU conference on migration, not as a journalist but as a guest speaker….pretty sure he would have put the case for open borders….curiously he was also a speaker at a recent MCB event which was intended to put the case for silencing media reporting on Muslim affairs as the Spectator[lol] tells us….

‘Next week[30th Nov], the Centre for Media Monitoring publishes its report on ‘British Media Coverage of Muslims and Islam 2018-2020’. Its launch webinar will be addressed by, among others, Mark Easton of the BBC, Alison Phillips, editor-in-chief of the Mirror, and Emma Tucker, editor of the Sunday Times. The CfMM, run by Miqdaad Versi, is a project of the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) which, though arguing there is no one Islam, tries to insist that all media coverage of the subject must have its approval. ‘

    The report is here….

    Click to access CfMM-Annual-Report-2018-2020-digital.pdf

Not had time to read it but one thing jumped out immediately…its list of sinners ranked for their anti-Muslim reporting on page 38 of the report….The Spectator topped the badboy list along with the Mail on Sunday…but fourth and fifth were Christian Today and The Jewish Chronicle.

Hmmm…might give us a clue as to how the MCB defines Islamophobic reporting…anything that shines a light on Islamic violence and racism…of which there is a lot.

No doubt the MCB condemns the reporting of the attack, but not the attack, by almost certainly Muslim assailants of a bus full of Jews on Oxford Street….a sure case of Islamophobia in the media.

Christian Today would almost certainly be pointing out the endless vicious attacks on Christians around the world in Muslim countries and similarly The Jewish Chronicle would be reporting on attacks on Jews…but the MCB wants to cover that up…just as the other media would be reporting on issues relating to Islam and Muslims…and we all know the media does the thing…if it bleeds it leads….whether it’s Christian, Muslim, Hindu or Jehdi Knights….the media doesn’t do feelgood stories.

If the MCB doesn’t want Muslim bad behaviour reported then suggest they ask Muslims not to behave badly.

And I just can’t imagine what Easton had to say….oh..maybe I can…Yes, we’re terribly guilty of not being nice to Muslims, the BBC included, we must all bend the knee and only report good things about islam….so the MCB will get its wish… nothing at all will appear on the BBC…lol.

I note the BBC is having MCB infiltrators slip into the BBC unannounced…or undercover of being in the MCB’s ‘Centre for Media Monitoring’……on the BBC’s Media Show…

Sooo….the dread Omicron did not originate in South Africa…..hmmm…maybe the BBC will apologise for instantly spreading fake news that the variant arose in South Africa because of the lack of vaccines there due to our selfishness. Apart from the fact that there is no shortage in South Africa, just a reluctance to get jabbed, and the fact that vaxed to the max UK had vastly more infections than SA, it’s now clear that the developed world’s greed in vaccinating its own people was not the cause of a mutant strain running rife in unvaccinated SA…..that was just BBC wishful thinking and opportunistic politicisation as they continue to lobby and pressure our government to vaccinate the world instead of insuring the health and safety of our own population first.

The BBC…the world’s biggest, most corrupt and most dishonest lobby group.

Yet more racism, and funded by the taxpayer:

The worst play ever would be funny if it didn’t epitomise the hard Left tripe passing for theatre today: ‘Inept’ said The Times, ‘crass’ wrote The Guardian. Yet it’s on at The National which gets £16m of public money
The National Theatre’s brand new big-budget play, called Manor, has been more savagely panned by the critics than any other in living memory. The reviews have been truly toe-curling.

‘Breathtakingly inept,’ said The Times — giving it a rare No Stars.

‘A soggy disappointment,’ said the Daily Telegraph.

‘Schlocky — basically nonsense,’ said Time Out.

Even The Guardian, usually a great cheerleader for the theatre — especially Left-wing theatre, of which this is a such a prize example — called it ‘Clumsy, crass and unconvincing,’ awarding it just one star.

Manor — which is directed by writer Buffini’s sister, Fiona — is a sustained and shrill political diatribe about the terrible threat of both climate change and the Far Right, which according to the play are somehow mysteriously interlinked.

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-10265247/The-worst-play-funny-didnt-epitomise-tripe-writes-CHRISTOPHER-HART.html

These puppet-characters are so cliched and condescending that you can only groan: among them are an elderly gay vicar, a heroic black nurse, and a far-Right troublemaker who wears black wellies that look a little bit like jackboots. Geddit?
climate change and the far Right. Our cultural elite love the far Right as a subject, insisting it is one of the biggest threats to society today. There are, of course, other pressing political issues they could tackle — Islamist terrorism, for instance, or the far Left and its rampant anti-Semitism.
But the Left-wing theatre is terrified of touching the subject of Islamism, and does so only in the most cautious and kid-gloved way. Indeed, whenever contemporary theatre deals with politics, it almost always gets it wrong.

The manor house in the play is a clumsy symbol of Britain, whose history is nothing but ‘War’ and ‘Slavery’, we are told.

The far-Right agitator is the only assertive straight white male on stage, and thus the very personification of evil. He abandoned his wife and children, he beats up his girlfriend, he is, as the saying goes, ‘full of hate’.
Perhaps he represents all straight white men.
And if you’re not sure, to make it quite clear, one of the characters explains about climate change: ‘It’s white hormonal men! Their testosterone is going to destroy the world!’

Another unintentionally hilarious moment was when we learned that the far-Right villain was preparing to launch a ‘Tenth Crusade’ in England to ‘cleanse’ his country, and had the plans for it all ready in his briefcase. (Yes, really, I’m not making this up.)
But then his deadly plot was foiled when his briefcase was stolen — by two teenage lesbians

The museum was originally focused on telling the stories of the more than 7,000 people who inhabited its 22 cramped apartments in the 19th and 20th centuries
At the time, the building had been inhabited by Jewish, German, Irish and Italian immigrants – there were no black people living there
But when researching the life of an Irish man named Joseph Moore they discovered another man named Joseph Moore who lived nearby
They both worked as waiters and were around the same age, but one was black

    This from LAST year:

When the BBC announced that Mrs Brown’s Boys would once again feature in their festive programming, it was impossible to ignore the savage response on social media.

“Forget Covid, there’s my Christmas ruined,” one Twitter user exclaimed.

“Root canal work is an attractive alternative to Mrs Brown,” wrote another.

“As if 2020 wasn’t bad enough, Mrs Browns Boys is back. Still not found anyone that admits to watching it… I demand to know who watches it and who likes it?” asked another.

    Critics agree.

“The worst comedy ever made,” was how Grace Dent positioned it in The Independent. And last year, Guardian columnist Joel Golby posed the question: “How did the worst show on TV become a festive must-watch?”

I’ve managed about 15 minutes once.

The show is a complete ham luvvie fest which I presume is why the BBC love it.

And the BBC bubble being the BBC bubble, they will be totally unable to comprehend that others don’t.

As Graham Norton said, we all have different groups of friends in life. One group being our ‘theatre friends’.

Other people in the world are shocked at the looting going on in San Francisco. So I went to check on the internet and videos of it were very hard to find. That had the alarm bells ringing. Then I saw one site which was far more concerned with not calling it ‘looting’ than what actually happened.

    Fox news had it though:

And – of course – the reason was clear. And exactly as expected. All the looters are black.

No mention of it on the BBC. Or the interview with Farage and Trump.

But they did find space for a very sympathetic interview with fellow Trump-hater : ‘Rust: Alec Baldwin says he didn’t fire gun on film set’.

Interesting defence for which the BBC are fully on-board saying: ‘Ms Hutchins was shot and killed as Mr Baldwin rehearsed with what he believed to be a “cold” – or safe – gun ‘

So the narrative now seems to be that he didn’t shoot her, the gun did.

The BBC are simply ridiculous now. They are like some 3rd-world country propaganda outlet. I would LOVE to see a photo of the line-up of their staff these days.

God give me strength – is there a single new film being made which does not contain left-wing agenda ?.

I noticed a newish film ‘The Power of the Dog’ as I like the escapism of a Western set in the early 1900’s. The fact it was directed by a woman and won multiple awards rang some alarm bells so I checked the trailer.

Half way through, the cowboys are sat at a table with some flowers made from paper. The main character says ‘I wonder what little lady made these’. A male and very clearly gay waiter who just happened to be stood in earshot steps forward and says ‘I did sir’. The music changes to funeral-style as the main character sets fire to the flower and puts it in the water jug.

I see why it won awards and I won’t be watching it. The Left have poisoned everything.

Totally agree. Almost everything produced in the last twenty years in the UK or US is rubbish and unwatchable unless you place adherence to Woke right think above entertainment , or if it a documentary, above truth and facts.
My recommendation is to watch Walter Presents on , ironically , Ch4 , which has European TV drama on it and, although there is plenty of Woke infected dross , doeshave some decent non Woke programmes eg German, Polish and Danish made series seem mercifully Woke free.

Mickey Beurke of BBC fame tells it to the telegraph –

STARTS Freedom of speech is under threat at the BBC, Michael Buerk has said, as he expressed fears that The Moral Maze may fall victim to woke ideology.

Buerk has presented the Radio 4 programme for 31 years, chairing debate on the ethics behind the news stories of the week.

Radio 4, Buerk said, had a “hopeless yearning to connect with yoof” and was struggling to square its Middle England listenership with “its voguish, increasingly woke-sounding board”.

He is concerned about the show’s continuing ability to be provocative in a time when “public discourse, poisoned by social media, is ever more inclined to regard anybody with a different view as not just wrong, but evil”.

    ‘New orthodoxies are beyond challenge’

Writing in the Radio Times, Buerk said: “We used to pride ourselves it was a programme on which ‘the unsayable gets said’. There were no holds barred, the audience were grown-ups and didn’t need protecting from views they might not like.

“The arguments weren’t curated or choreographed, and they didn’t need censoring because the whole point of the programme was to test them to destruction.

“It survives, even prospers in a modest way, despite the temper of the times. In the wider world – and, it has to be said, in some parts of the BBC – more and more is being put off limits, things that cannot possibly be said, new orthodoxies that are beyond challenge. I do think freedom of speech is seriously under threat.”

He added: “I won’t say we don’t feel it on The Moral Maze … Maybe we’re a bit less abrasive than we used to be. To their credit, Radio 4 bigwigs have largely kept their nerve. I honour them for it, but sometimes worry about how long that will last.”

Buerk, 75, has spent 52 years at the BBC and said there was “nervousness” among veteran broadcasters after Adam Boulton, the Sky News anchor, announced he was “past his sell-by date” and quitting the station.

“Time was, he’d have gone on growing into his 80s. But times change, the boxes he ticked so well are now labelled ‘privilege’, and the old guard is being replaced by one that is conspicuously, purposefully, less uniform,” said Buerk.

He claimed that Radio 4 was more stable because its audience “can’t stand change” – although half the audience “feel like drowning themselves in their cornflakes” after listening to the Today programme.
    ENDS

I disagree that the big players are being replaced by a ‘less uniform ‘ brand of presenter – the new brand is young female and coloured – with an overtly totalitarian outlook ….

…a number of comments run ‘the BBC -is that still going ?’ – we are winning …

If there is ANY doubt whatsoever that the bbc is a racist biased organisation it is this:

A MASS race hate crime committed in Oxford Street, London and caught on video

Not a single mention on their front page, I repeat, not a single mention and already slipping down other MSM pages

Just imagine if it was white people doing the same to a black or asian victim ?

I am so glad I am the age I am so that I will be unlikely to see the inevitable consequences of this bloody sickness infecting the west, the consequences of the divisions and hate created by the bbc and msm

not just the importing en mass of vicious violent racists and gang rapists but allowing them to act out their race hate upon the streets of London and little or nothing said, and the sanctification of violent black criminals because of their colour whilst ignoring white victims of police brutality or race attacks

I didn’t pull the trigger – Alec Baldwin

“I would never point a gun at anyone and pull a trigger at them. Never,” says actor Alec Baldwin. He reveals this in his first sit-down interview after cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was fatally injured on the set of his film Rust. She was shot during a rehearsal with what Mr Baldwin believed to be a “cold” – or safe – gun in New Mexico. The gun is believed to have fired when he removed it from a holster during rehearsals for a forthcoming scene. Ms Hutchins died in hospital following the shooting that also resulted in director Joel Souza being injured. The 80-minute interview with Mr Baldwin was “raw”, according to George Stephanopoulos from ABC News, who describes the actor as “devastated” yet “very candid” and “forthcoming”. “I’ve done thousands of interviews in the last 20 years at ABC,” says Mr Stephanopoulos. “This was the most intense I’ve ever experienced.”

The fact he believed the gun to be safe but didn’t KNOW the gun was safe before he pointed it at someone and pulled the trigger is the entire reason he should go down for negligent manslaughter.

The BBC won’t go anywhere that. He’s on the ‘approved’ list, despite being a nasty character full of hate. Every single person at the BBC falls into that category.

Minimum 6 months. I’ll bet my house they twist the rules and he doesn’t serve a day.
