I have a friend who lives in Australia, spoke to her today and she told me about the astonishing speed at which the newly elected Labour government has managed to wreck the Australian electricity supply.
First they decided to put a cap on energy prices which was below the cost producers could generate it, this resulted in rolling blackouts as they turned off the least efficient stations, so the unbelievably stupid Socialists decided that if they couldn’t guarantee continuous supply they would ban them from the grid, thus they generate and contribute nothing, but save a lot of money into the bargain.
So now at night Australia is dark more or less everywhere and friend told me everyone is having to buy high power spot lamps for cars because hitting a roo at speed will probably kill you and certainly wreck your vehicle.
It makes me wonder how many times stupid stupid people will believe the lies and fall for what is effectively an adult version of the child catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, because they are too dim to see past the lies.

‘If we don’t see diversity in the production team that’s not a commission that’s going to go ahead’ he told the Wales Screen Summit.
The BBC executive said if there was not ‘meaningful diversity on screen’ that would also not work as a project.
In 2020 the BBC said it wanted suppliers to commit to the 20% figure for production teams. Under-represented groups include those from ethnic minority, disables and lower-income backgrounds.

I think the BBC idea of diversity is “White,Conservative, male hetertosexuals need not apply” But the BBC is not alone.The media in general, given that we still have a white majority in Britain, appears to be infected with the same malady.
I firmly believe in and love the idea of diversity between nations but pushing too much diversity within a nation, in my view,will eventually lead to the death and destruction of the indigenous culture. I am assuming that the BBC is OK with that.
Well I, along with millions of whities are not. There will be resistance.
By the way I,m 82 years old so the coming conflict will not affect me much but my grandchildren will have decisions to make.

6pm BBC1 news. There are several items already I could have commented on including adverts for LGBQT season on BBC3.
They had to talk about the weather and mention climate change. But they had a lady of colour reporting about the heat from the Cambridge botanic gardens. This was where the highest ever temperature in the U.K. was recorded a couple of years ago, but she didn’t tell us that nor did she explain it was because there were fans for the glasshouses close to the thermometer.
But the reporter was full of word salad. Apparently the average June temperature is 20 degrees. Today it was 32 and she said some sort of rubbish like it was temperatures were already high for this time of year (32 Celsius is 90 Fahrenheit which I am sure will have happened before) but what the lady said was just rubbish, she is a reporter for the world’s best loved broadcasting (!) and she couldn’t make sense.

When I tried to locate the GB News tweet it said that the tweet had been removed by the author. I have given up the attempt to locate and supposedly have to accept that I must have made the story up.
However, I swear that the tweet stated that the officer was killed and then the story followed with the snide comment about Trump. There were many replies almost all pointing out that the officer died of natural causes.
