What on earth is happening with Smarmer’s and Ginger’s Beergate Police investigation? A fairly simple investigation is taking an inordinate time to complete.
You’d think the BBC would have something to say about it.

Flotsam – the press at the weekend said that the Durham Questionaire had been returned at the end of last week .

I’m sure the content was fully co ordinated and drafted by the best labour legal heads . I reckon the result of the investigation / white wash won’t be announced before the MPs go on their holidays ….
If I could put a bet on no penalty notices I would – but with a bit of luck maybe cinstabularies like Durham could be put into an enlarged outfit to cut costs – getting rid of political control through those disgraceful ‘police commissioners / commisars …

How about the one Ronald Reagan found in 1981 for the 11,000 striking air traffic controllers: sack the lot of them.

Apparently a station ticket clerk is on average £30k, they’d get less in a similarly skilled role elsewhere , eg Coral bookies near me is advertising, in their window, for assistants at £10 an hour..

I’d thought I’d post this, what appeared at first to be an odd lady talking about what appears to be choice but isn’t at all, what appears to be competition, but isn’t, and how a very small number of companies control almost all the farming, chemicals, drugs, media etc and how those are actually owned by just three other companies.

It really is quite an eye opener and rather scary stuff

This seems to right out of the Elizabeth Warren school of claiming she was a Red Indian when she is as white as the driven snow as proved by her DNA.

Close to how the old joke goes, I have forgotten half of it.

Mick Lynch calls a meeting of the RMT members.

He says’ Listen comrades. We’ve been offered £55k basic wage, 35 hour weeks, overtime at double time. Eight weeks holiday. Two tea breaks of 15 minutes a day, enhanced pensions, a year off paid for maternity or paternity, retire at 55 and free travel anywhere in the UK for the whole family and we only work five hours on Fridays’.

There’s a shout from the back of the room, ‘Every Friday?’ he chimes.

And that’s why they voted against going back to work.

      Eight weeks holiday. Rubbish.

A year off paid maternity leave. Rubbish.

A year off paid paternity leave. Rubbish.

      Retirement at 55. Rubbish.

Free travel in the UK for you and family. Rubbish.

Hope that clears it up for you.

I know plenty of rail staff, I used to run the GWRSA where I lived. I knew the H****r family quite well, they live three streets away.

Driving a bus is harder and more stressful than a train, but pays half as much.

Wow I know the media in the country are as bad as the Left Wing political parties, obssesed with something they call racism, and a number of other meaningless victim words, but I had no idea they had completely given up reporting the dire economic news for the world.

I can understand them perhaps not wanting to report about the UK being as bad as it is, but inflation in Germany – head of the EU is now running at over 33.5% for two months running!

This in a country which has the Euro and doesn’t have its own central bank which can raise interest rates to curb inflation and has to look to countries like Greece and Italy where interest rate rises might wreck their economies.

    https://tradingeconomics.com/germany/producer-prices-change

If this isn’t dealt with it could easily spiral out of control and lead to economic instability in Europes largest economy.

And yet the media think it’s something they should just ignore !

      Thoughtful.

Are you sure about that inflation rate.
I just googled it and it says May 2022 inflation rate is 7.9% in Germany.

      • Thoughtful says:

Read the graph, there are different inflation rates some of them are basically little more than lies which is why they call it the CPLie

This is the producer prices index which is the inflation producers are seeing, and they have to pass that on to their customers, meaning this price rise is in the pipe line.

        • Emmanuel Goldstein says:

          You’re right about the lies.
I don’t for one minute believe our inflation stats (or population or numbers of immigrants etc)

I thought you meant the 33.5 % was their equivalent of our 10% or whatever they tell us it is using their own manipulated figures.

If their admitted inflation rate is 7.9% which is a couple below ours then what must our producer prices index rate be. Logically it would be higher than Germany but it’s all a bit beyond me.

If our rate is above 33% then that’s another 0.25% rise in interest rates next month by our brilliant B of E who are doing a Sterling job of keeping inflation at 2%.

        • Fedup2 says:

Yeah the profucer prices index is the kiddie for a true indication of inflation .

The bank of fools are frightened to increase rates above .25% each time so inflation will be above 10% by 2023. Rates will have to go to 6% in 2023 . Its gonna hurt…,

The triple lock is being bought back in so it may well be an election sooner than later …

AstraZeneca: Vaccine death payout of £120k ‘inadequate’ – fiancée
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-61885899

“A woman whose partner died after having an AstraZeneca jab has become the first person to receive compensation over a Covid vaccine death.
Vikki Spit’s former rock singer fiancé Zion, 48, of Alston, Cumbria, fell ill eight days after he had his injection and died in May 2021.
She was awarded the maximum settlement of £120,000 but said it was not enough.”

Shouldn’t get anything, he was dumb enough to take an experimental jab, when not even in a high risk group.

The money is from public funds, no point is suing AstraZeneca as our government gave them indemnity against liability for side-effects.
Maybe sue BBC for hysterically promoting the vaccines.

    Meanwhile:

BERLIN, June 21 (Reuters) – Germany’s government will not agree to European Union plans to effectively ban the sale of new cars with combustion engines from 2035, Finance Minister Christian Lindner said on Tuesday.

In its bid to cut planet-warming emissions by 55% by 2030 from 1990 levels, the European Commission has proposed a 100% reduction in CO2 emissions from new cars by 2035. That means it would be impossible to sell combustion engine cars from then.

The independent Ukraine war reports all concentrate on the inevitable surrounding of the Ukrainian forces in a large area in the Donbas and the alternatives of a large loss of life and/or thousands of prisoners being taken in any surrender.

The BBC don’t go near that as it’s against the agenda. Instead their headlines include:

    ‘Ben Stiller visits Zelensky’

‘Ben Stiller (again): Actor speaks about ‘distressing’ scenes on visit to Ukraine’

‘Ben Stiller (again) meets Zelensky in Kyiv as ambassador for UN refugee agency’

‘Ukraine war: ‘My kids cried every night asking if we’re going to die’ (Off-the-scale empathy piece)

‘The family separated by war in both life and death’ (Another off-the-scale empathy piece)

I cannot even begin to imagine the horror of being stuck in there waiting for the inevitable death or capture. That’s what bravery actually is. And the BBC are more interested in chasing ambulances. And it seems Zelensky is quite willing to sacrifice them all as well. Maybe a good slaughter would get him the kind of publicity he wants.

This is the true face of the Left. They don’t care one bit what damage they do or what happens to people in the real world who are of no political use to them. The agenda and confirmation to themselves of their moral superiority through virtue signalling articles is all that matters. What shallow, callous people they actually are when you scrape through the veneer of hypocrisy.
