The ugly scenes at the Perth Hustings last week is ( we are told) being investigated by Police Scotland.

Don’t hold your breath they are just as enslaved to the SNP as bBC Scotland .

We can hope that these events left an indelible mark on the future of the next prime minister and that a full attack is delivered
in due course to the SNP using all the powers of the state.

‘So to summarise, the energy company owned by the French government wants profits kept high and the government to chip in so the French government owned company can make more money from the British people.

If we have to have a nationalised energy company, it should at least be owned by this country. Ditto for the railway system, which is siphoning off money to European train operators. Likewise for the five foreign owned water companies, including the one partly owned by Kuwait, Abu Dhabi and Red China (Thames water).

Ian – I was musing about the current crisis . Since the whole MSM is wedded to the ‘net zero ‘ crap – it won’t criticise any politician who refuses to either pull more stuff out of the North Sea or get fracking .

So we will be paying over the odds for fuel for the firseeabke future because all the politicians and mass media favour it .

But I wonder – if we have a very cold long winter and there are shortages / blackouts and deaths – whether such a position can be held ?

I’m so glad the clown in number 10 is gone – I can’t think of anyone making more of a mess of things . He will still be popular because of his ‘act’ but otherwise good riddance to your puppet Carrie …..

As an aquaintance of mine who worked in the energy sector explained it to me – nearly 20 years ago – “if we reduce the supply of oil and gas to 1/4 of the current level, it will last four times as long and we can charge at least four times as much for it, whilst pretending to save the planet”.

When they talk about ‘sustainability’, they mean sustainable profits. When they talk about ‘green’, they are referring to greenbacks (dollars). Artificial shortages in energy, food, transport and health care are all part of the plan – basic manipulation of supply and demand economics.

Turkish army pension fund to buy British Steel
        https://english.alaraby.co.uk/news/turkish-army-pension-fund-buy-british-steel

The Turkish military pension fund OYAK said on Friday it had signed a provisional deal to buy British Steel after the UK steelmaker was forced into liquidation in May.

OYAK said it hoped the takeover by its investment vehicle Ataer Holding would happen by the end of 2019 and was part of its “regional growth ambitions” in the steel sector.

Erdogan epitomises the infectious madness inhabiting most World leaders at present. Turkey inflation, now at about 80%, went up like a rocket when Erdogan LOWERED interest rates a couple of months ago. Now its nudging 90% what does the man do? LOWER interest rates again. Are we witnessing a sickness infecting some originating from the Davos laboratories?

Who would want to buy British Steel when the World is lurching into a massive recession?

The police in Liverpool have given a description of the ‘man’ they are looking for in the killing of a 9 year old girl.

They say things like the colour of his trousers and describe his trainers, his height and many other things.
One thing they don’t mention is….yes, you’ve guessed it. It’s the thing that rules out 97% of the population. A massive piece of information.
I don’t know if he is one of the 3% but as the police have avoided saying it I suspect he is. That’s the usual procedure.

The latest movie in the Despicable Me franchise premiered in China on Friday – albeit with a different ending, as local viewers discovered.

Minions: The Rise of Gru follows antihero Gru in his teenage days and sets up his evolution into a supervillain later in the series.

Warning: There are plot spoilers ahead.

But unlike the original movie, the Chinese version does not end with Gru and his mentor Wild Knuckles riding off into the sunset.

Instead, Wild Knuckles is jailed while Gru “becomes one of the good guys”.

Posts and screenshots of the film, shared on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, showed censors had added a series of subtitled still images into the credits sequence.

In it, they explain that Wild Knuckles was caught and locked up for 20 years after a failed heist. He also discovers a “love of acting” and sets up a theatrical troupe.

Gru, meanwhile, “returned to his family” and being a father to his three girls became his “biggest accomplishment”.

Notice the comments from politicians always refer to the community in tragic cases like this.
There appears to be some need to collectivise.
Background assumptions of a multi-diverse community thinking with one mind.

” Harry Doyle, Assistant Mayor of Liverpool and Councillor for Knotty Ash, says people woke up in disbelief this morning to the news of the incident. “A lot of people are shaken today in the community,” he told the BBC
West Derby’s Labour MP Ian Byrne, whose constituency includes the street, said residents were “all struggling to process it as a community”.

Liverpool Mayor Joanne Anderson said it was an “appalling act of evil” and urged anyone with information to “come forward”, adding: “Guns have no place in our communities.”
Labour’s Paula Barker, the MP for Liverpool Wavertree, said the “mindless violence simply has to stop”.
She said the city would “come together in adversity”

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer said in a tweet that his thoughts were “with the little girl’s family” as it was “devastating news, for them and their community”, while Liberal Democrats leader Ed Davey tweeted that it was “a heartbreaking tragedy for Liverpool and the whole country”.He added that he was sending his “thoughts and prayers to her family and friends, the other victims of this senseless shooting, and the whole community”.

      Community ….

Ahmadis suffer vicious persecution around the world. The main source of fuel for that persecution is in Pakistan, but what happens in Pakistan does not stay in Pakistan.

I know that from my experience in the Yorkshire market town of Batley. In August 1985, when I was 11 years old, my parents organised an inter-faith meeting in the town hall. It was interrupted and disturbed when, according to West Yorkshire police, more than 1,000 extremists, led by Pakistani hate preachers funded by the Pakistani state, were bused in from around the country. The mob brutally attacked my English mother and my father, a dermatologist; my eldest brother and I; and a Welsh Ahmadi schoolteacher who was with us. My first cousin, a GP, was by chance driving through the market town that day. He saw the mob and saw his family and friends being attacked, so he stopped. He was recognised, pulled from his vehicle and savagely beaten up.

Tanzania is thought to have the largest population of albinos in Africa. I think this is worth a watch just because it brings home how bad things are going to get.

I hear a lot of people moaning in the usual Socialist way about profits made by certain companies or the fact energy companies were privatised without any kind of insight or even education what so ever!

UK energy prices are indeed high, but they are not as bad as they are in Europe, and unlike them we are nowhere near as likely to experience power or even gas outages. UK energy prices could be much lower if our feckless squandering government cut the damn stupid Green insanity taxes on power !

One piece I read the other day regarding the promised energy production of wind farms suggested the maximum output managed was just 22% of what they were supposed to produce. Now if you’ve planned an energy grid based on even 50% of that then there’s an enormous shortfall whichever way you slice it.

Anyway, here’s a guy whose an accountant by trade talking about how bad its getting in the US and Europe, and how China is buying up all the food and no one is stopping them.

‘When the British left India, they divided the country into two independent nations – India and Pakistan. Millions of people were displaced, and religious violence killed hundreds of thousands.

Many young people of Indian and Pakistani descent across the world are reckoning with the scars left by partition on their families.’

Ah yes…Britain gets the blame….but it wasn’t Britain that ‘partitioned’ India, it was Muslims who demanded a state of their own…..all that resulted came because of their apartheid and division.

So what do we all learn from partition?

Having large communities of people who don’t want to be part of your society inside it is a bad idea…when the time comes for them to demand their own little state what will happen?…so importing millions of them only for them to set up their own parallel society with mini-Pakistans etc can’t bode well for the future…if not the present.

    Oh really?

Two separate reports on Today but both had a familiar narrative.

One was on renewable energy….Today told us that Truss [but no mention that Sunak is against onshore wind as well] was against wind turbines on land…but wait…the BBC assures us that polls show ‘the public wants them.’….really? Battlelines being drawn already for the fight to boot Truss out of No10…should she get in.

Second….worker shortage….again ‘polls show the public wants more immigration’ to solve the shortage. Really? Naturally the BBC doesn’t tell you that the shortage is nothing to do with Brexit and all to do with workers changing their jobs or lifestyles….and post-Brexit immigrants from non-EU countries flood in here still.

‘It is a notion which is easily disproved, however, by a simple figure published this week by the Office for National Statistics which went woefully under-reported. There has been no drop in migrant workers in Britain. On the contrary, there were 6.3 million foreign-born workers at the last count – a record high. This amounts to an extraordinary 19 per cent of all workers – higher even than the United States. We don’t hear much debate about these numbers. Perhaps that’s because, since Brexit, immigration has become less controversial – as one would expect with the system now being under democratic control.

It is true that the number of EU-born workers in Britain has fallen slightly, from 2.44 million to 2.39 million. But this has been more than offset by the rise in foreign workers from outside the EU. This figure has risen from 3.37 million to 3.86 million. Indians, Nigerians and South Africans are now among the biggest groups of incomers. ‘

Some Australian schoolkids have started to identify as cats at school. Allowed by the teachers to stop speaking, crawl on all fours etc.etc. All day.

The kids are obviously badly mentally damaged, the real crime however is the “supportive” attitude of the teachers in the interests of diversity.

How can these adults not see that they are colluding with the onset of mental breakdown.

These kids need guidance, help and support, not encouragement to be freaks.

It’s quite simply child abuse by these totally warped teachers.

A private school in Australia is reportedly supporting a young “non-verbal” student identifying as a cat.

The behaviour is often linked to a “furries” subculture being adopted by many teens, where many furries feel a deep connection to a particular animal that they take on their “fursona”, according to Gerbasi et al.

A source close to the family said: “No one seems to have a protocol for students identifying as animals, but the approach has been that if it doesn’t disrupt the school, everyone is being supportive,”

I wonder how many of Bazza’s 40 *actual* truckloads were “classified” ?

Declaration Saying “There is No Climate Emergency” Trends on Twitter – Greenies Have Meltdown

“Professor Dr. Knut Loschke studied crystallography, chemistry, physics, mathematics and computer science. In the course of a long career he founded an IT company, and is an honorary professor at the University of Technology, Economics and Culture in Leipzig. As part of his work at the University, he deals with the energy industry and climate change. He served the German Bundestag as an expert in ‘Artificial Intelligence’. But Professor Loschke is annoyed…

    “I’m sick.

Or, to put it even more clearly: I’m fed up with permanent and increasingly religious climate ramblings, fantasies about the energy transition, worship of electric cars, horror stories and doomsday scenarios from Corona to conflagrations and weather disasters. I can’t stand the people who shout into microphones and cameras, or print it in newspapers every day. I suffer from having to see how science is turned into a whore of politics.”

The WCD is signed by no less than 235 professors drawn from a wide variety of scientific and other academic disciplines. Thirteen of the 28 WCD lead supporters are professors, seven out of the 10 Greek signatories likewise, and 11 out of the 24 from Norway. The climate scientist and writer Willie Soon recently listed a number of the academic disciplines that are helpful in studying the changing climate. They include: astronomy, solar physics, geology, geochemistry, paleoclimatology, glaciology, oceanography, ecology and history.

Maitlis in a very self-serving whine and highly, highly political attack on the Tories[and Trump]….incredibly one-sided and, well, Meghan Markel-like in its self-delusions and self-obsessed, self-important, self-pitying snivelling….

Apparently the Media should be free from vilification and interference….lol…she rails at Boris for being an unaccountable dictator-in-the-making and yet she expects one of the most powerful establishments in the land to be beyond examination and criticism…coz she works there. Such a Princess.

Laughed at her intro…by no less a person than the race-baiting Afua Hirsch of course…..truth and honesty…that’s Maitlis in two words!

This speech is why Maitlis was so unfit for any unbiased news organisation…her highly political spin and misinformation on events attacking only the usual suspects….how is it she missed the Democrats attempt to mount a coup using a fake dossier basically straight from Russian intelligence…oh..hang on…the BBC were fully behind the Democrat’s corruption and collusion with Putin….no wonder Maitlis looks the other way….want to talk about ‘normalising’ corruption and treachery? She’s just done it. And Trump not accept the result of an election? Well…outrageous and unprecedented…except for Hilary Clinton who to this day tours BBC studios claiming her election was stolen and she was the real President…and note…she voted for a security barrier and demanded a stop to illegal immigration…but you never heard that on the BBC….just that Trump was such a racist for wanting that ‘Wall’.

You also didn’t hear that the EU, Irish government and their mouthpiece, the BBC, recruited the terrorist murderers, torturers and drug dealers of the IRA to their cause….threatening to start the violence again if the British didn’t sign up to the Backstop….a device designed to blackmail Britain….even the Irish press recognised it for what it was calling it literally ‘dynamite’.

And let’s not mention the BBC helping to spread anti-Semitism around the world or its highly toxic race reporting….spreading hate and division[and not a few cops being murdered] rather than peace and unity.

Maitlis has been part of an organisation that colluded with Putin in trying to destroy US democracy, that allied itself with murderous terrorists [both Irish and Islamic], that spread anti-Semitism around the globe, that promotes the murder of White people and the destruction of their civilisation and society, that mounted a coup against the British PM…the BBC deciding it would have the final say not the voters.

The BBC is the most dangerous organisation in Britain…and Maitlis was fully signed up to all of that…..even now spreading the lies, half-truths and disinformation that she and her colleagues did so well at the BBC…and yet wilfully ignorant of her own part in all that as she piously preaches to us from her high horse….though some might say it’s more ass than horse.

  45. pugnazious says:

LOL….just listened to the rest of Maitlis’ rant…boy…must have been on the Jim Bean when she cobbled that together.

    1. The BBC must not give a platform to its critics….nor must it give critics of the orthodoxy or mainstream, dominant thinking a voice…if 500 economists think Brexit is bad the BBC must not go out to find the one economist who has a different view….never mind that 499 of those 500 don’t think so on economic terms but purely political…a love for the EU superstate….but let’s not ask their motivation as we don’t ask climate scientists why they back climate change so vociferously as they collect their grants so dependent on it.

    2. Robbie Gibbs is an active agent of the Tory Party…never mind he worked for 25 years for the BBC…even as Newsnight editor, before going to No10 under May for a couple of years. Maitlis has nothing to say about Craig Oliver who went to work for Cameron…an ardent Remainer and frequent guest on the BBC now….and oddly nothing about the Chairman of the BBC Board, Richard Sharp…a Tory. Why nothing about him? And as Gibb is Jewish does that play into Maitlis’ criticism of him? He made loud complaints about the BBC’s lies about the Jews who were attacked on a bus by Muslims. Why is she so venomous about Sir Robbie?

    3. Maitlis quotes Robert De Niro trashing Trump for his alleged comments about bleach and covid….Maitlis sniggers and mocks Trump and continues the lie….and refrains from telling her audience that Trump never said that. She asks if she should have got a Trump-supporting actor on as balance…no…all she needed to do was tell the truth…do her job…but that’s clearly beyond her…too afraid and too enthralled to contradict a superstar actor.

    4. She wails that she was hung out to dry by the BBC over her anti-Dominic Cummings tirade…there was no due process…the BBC rushed to reassure the government….all due to that ‘active agent of the Tory Party, Robbie Gibb and his populist accusations.
Purely her own Clintonesque spin on her own failure.

    5. And onto the populist danger facilitated by social media to our democracy…a long-time favourite of a BBC determined to keep control of all information, the news agenda and ‘the Truth’. People being able to get their hands on information and knowledge the BBC would rather they didn’t…and all unfiltered by the BBC commissars…appalling…the Deplorables thinking for themselves…..it must be stopped!

    6. Two results of that appalling populism….Brexit and Trump….Maitlis says we can’t rest…they’re still with us….you know…havoc at Dover…due to Brexit….er…no…due to French officials not turning up to work…hence now at work things go smoothly….a pure lie by Maitlis.

    7. Brexit, she implies, is a conspiracy against the British people…..er…no…that’d be the BBC’s own reporting trying to overturn Brexit and the people’s vote as they did with Boris and his 80 seat majority.

    8. The media, she says, is reluctant to talk about Brexit…to reveal the true horror of it…lol….really? Clearly she never listens to the BBC or even her new station, LBC.

    9. Journalists must battle populism….must callout the populist playbook tricks…and she segways from Infowars Alex Jones to Trump, Boris and Nadine Dorries clearly trying to create some connection and impression that they are all the same as Jones and thus to discredit them….a very nasty trick.

    10. Boris & Co are afraid of scrutiny, they reject the legitimate checks and balances that the media imposes on them…..no…Boris did over a hundred interviews in the election…Trump quite rightly complained of a biased media when 90% was openly and actively trying to unseat him.

    11. Maitlis rails against ‘false equivalence’….her example Trump comparing the FBI raid on his home to the Watergate burgalry…well…that’s somewhat flamboyant but arguable…..unlike the BBC, indeed Maitlis herself in this speech, claiming Jan 6 was an ‘insurrection’ intended to destroy democracy in America. In what way was that an insurrection?

    12. We must change our journalistic style…do more podcasts where we can throw off the shackles of ‘formality’…ie…rules on impartiality and bias, honesty and truthfulness. Can’t really see that as a change for Maitlis…pretty much her on Newsnight.

    13. She claims the Media are the mediators between Power and the People….must be fair and robust…lol….I await that with great expectations…lol. The Media must interpret and filter information for the great unwashed….they’re just too stupid to understand it themselves…..Maitlis curating enormous power to herself and her buddies…along with those huge wage packets.

    14. She wraps up with a final word from labour party stooge [active agent of?] Lewis Goodall…so all’s well that ends well… running out of lols!

    15. We must not be campaigners….but……
