This is a very sad day…

I’ve been watching these sad, though hardly unexpected, events unfold on GB News.
I think their anchor man, Alistair Stewart, might have had a few; on two occasions he has said, “The Queen is dead, long live the Queen.” Eh?

She’s the same generation as my mum, known every prime minister from Churchill to Truss and seen our country change before her eyes. To some degree all of us feel as though we know her. She’s been there all our lives.

What ever you think of the monarchy, a very sad day…

Just awful news! Loved and revered by any and all who truly mattered.
May those who have added to her recent burdens pay the appropriate price.

God bless and care for our Queen.

Matthew Sweet waves a fact check against Steyn
A fact check that seems not robust

Yet when I glanced #1 it feels unscientific, and has obvious typo
#2 It has a line “There is also no evidence suggesting a link between COVID-19 vaccines and cases of sudden death.”

FFS think about that, it sounds like a massive over claim
cos the government is accepting that and IS paying out compensation
#3 Furthermore there is Viruses Journal paper that does show EVIDENCE
“We hereby present five cases (four men, mean age 64 years, range 50–76) of sudden death secondary to MI and tightly temporally related to COVID-19 vaccination”
    It’s not proof of course

I am not claiming to have debunked the whole fact check
    other points may still stand
It concerns me that Sweet would wave it as a Gotcha
    when it feels so sloppy

      Detail
That Matthew Sweet thread got 553 Likes but is ratioed as there are 3 times as many replies

      His second tweet

relies on this 29 Aug 2022 fact check

It’s from healthfeedback.org registered in France and “a member of the World Health Organization’s Vaccine Safety Network”
Their About Us page is opaque and lists no names, OK they maybe afraid of terrorists, but I was expecting something like explaining which org founded them https://sciencefeedback.co/about/

The title says “COVID-19 vaccines reduce the risk of death, contrary to Mark Steyn’s misleading interpretation of mortality data”
CLAIM “[T]he peak of vaccine mandates in America […] coincides with massive excess mortality among people in the prime of life”
.. em there is no reason for that T in brackets .. it looks like an error
So how error free is the rest ?

        StewGreen,

Stupid. Steyn provides zero evidence that any of the deaths he trots out were caused by the covid vaccine. A classic example of the; “saying but not saying” genre, beloved by snake oil salesmen.

.. em there is no reason for that T in brackets .. it looks like an error

What Steyn said was; “Well that was actually the peak of vaccine mandates in America…”. No error; the capital T is in brackets because it wasn’t the start of a sentence in the original quote.

So how error free is the rest ?

        Pathetic.

@StewGreen Thanks, spot on the money.

What BBC cretins like Mathew Sweet fail to understand is that traditional vaccines are supposed to be *proven* safe before general release. *Any* concerns and they get pulled and withdrawn.

However in the Covid case a leaky mRNA gene therapy is given emergency use authorisation (EUA) either because of panic or corruption of our politicians.

Worst of all this drug is released for use on children who are not at risk from the virus. In the US the reason for doing this is that once a drug has EUA on children then the pharmaceutical companies cannot be sued because of adverse reactions.

The BBC wickedly does not tell us all this. I would recommend reading the book by Robert Kennedy Jnr about the Real Anthony Fauci.

Another dubious fact-checking organisation dismissing some very important signals.

“…SADS is the result of genetic mutations that disrupt the electrical system regulating the pumping action of the heart. This can lead to abnormal heart rhythm (arrhythmia) and sudden cardiac arrest in young, apparently healthy people under the age of 40. However, no evidence suggests an association between COVID-19 vaccines and SADS…”

Lots of data showing heart inflammation post-vax now in under 40s. And they ‘fact check’ another study with evidence that the mRNA gene therapies can reverse transcribe into DNA — by citing in vitro studies as not being “representative of healthy cells or a human being, to study whether the vaccine mRNA was reverse-transcribed. The study’s results therefore cannot be extrapolated to people.”

Funny because the FDA have just approved the new bivalent vaxx for rollout after a study on 8 mice (no people involved).

Neither the data from public health agencies or the claims of the (ever increasing) fact-checking orgs can be trusted on C19. (Marianna / BBC are even further down the league table.)

BBC WEB-SITE Watch #1 – well, you asked for something to be done, BBC

Along with the print media of socialist, conservative, liberal and no particular political position (I can’t comment for the TV companies, obviously) the BBC has been screaming for something to be done on its web-site and R4 about the-cost-of-living-crisis that has been created largely at the behest of the BBC and others. Now, something has been done, the BBC go out to find someone exceptional that will not be helped (apparently) by the Government’s initiative on energy costs for domestic and business users.

I find some of the BBC’s ‘cases of complaint’ to be extremely dubious.

The first person mentioned has not put his heating on for eight months. But Kircaldy is some way inland from the coasts of Fife where North Sea winds can be bitter, so while Michael Ball might need some heat in winter and early spring, it is extremely doubtful that he needed heating in the last four months. But see for yourselves the blatant anti-Conservative Government campaigning here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-62823884

Should have mentioned that Kirkcaldy is some way down the coast from St Andrews where a North Sea nor’Easterly sweeps in and can be truly bitter at any time but especially in winter. The ‘wee haars’ are something to behold at anytime of year. Kirkcaldy (K not pronounced but is correct spelling) is sheltered somewhat by the St Andrews, Kingsbarns, Crail and Pittenweem peninsular.

You’d think that BBC article would have a Labour Party logo on it
Real title “Here’s a list of people the Bastard Tories are not doing enough to help with on energy”

      First guy
and get an air source heat pump installed in his flat.
If not, he will have to move back in with his parents.

#1 You don’t put heat pumps in flats they go under houses
#2 You need £20K upfront , so if he’ struggling with leccy bill how would afford that

Already struggled at old cap £1,971 came in in April.

“I’ve not put on my heating for eight months because I just can’t afford it,” he says. “The price was already too high in April.”

The last one the Brighton cafe owner
complains she only used to pay £100/month got leccy
But it’s a posh cafe bet a coffee and a sandwich was £10.

The article talks about a bill of £30/day ..but sounds rubbish
        Then they say £2700 /year
        That’s about £10/day for a 5.5 day week
It’s only 45 mins of staff pay so I reckon she’ll cope.
