Simon Clarke MP is ‘Levelling Up’ Secretary in Liz Truss’s first Cabinet (will there ever be a second one? – much depends on today in Parliament.) and was non-interviewed about the forthcoming announcement of a ‘Government intervention’ on energy costs to consumers. JustRemainIn asks a “silly question, really” (that RB moment) “Why can there not be a free market solution to the energy price crisis?” JustRemainIn is obviously worried that his children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be paying off the additional debt that HMG will incur today and that in the short term his Income Tax top rate might increase by 10%.
Why is that a silly question? The BBC have been nagging and propagandising over Global Warming and Climate Change for what seems like half a lifetime. Oh, hang on. It is half my lifetime, pretty much! The Conservative Government have therefore seen fit to steal the political clothes and indulge in cross-dressing with the Greens, the LiberalDemocrats and the Labour Party in condemning fossil fuel use and setting a stupid NetZero goal.
Simon Clarke missed a golden opportunity to destroy JustRemainIn Webb on air but then that is par for the course for Conservative Ministers and Secretaries, these days really. (that last bit best read with Australian accent)
Now we are hearing some pretty strong hints from monster dictator Recep Tayyip Erdogan that he is going to go to war with Greece.
Turkey currently has enormous financial and economic issues and has always adopted a turncoat mentality even in the cold war choosing whichever side it feels offers the greater benefit and unafraid of using its status to blackmail others.
It appears now to have chosen the BRICS groups as the more favourable partner and will force the issue by creating conflict in the Eastern Med.
Meanwhile we have Serbia and Kosovo on the brink of war as well and it is not going to be possible for the West (NATO) to be in all of these theatres at the same time.
This is quite possibly the worst time the world could have with a senile corrupt weak President in the White House, and it could well be that the hijacking of the election was done by China / Russia in the knowledge someone like Biden would be the ideal stooge for them to run rampant over the globe.
Thoughtful – playing the game of ‘who benefits ‘ from the Biden puppet being in charge is quite an easy one to play ,
But who actually runs Biden ? I’ve assumed it is really obamas third term – he having cut a deal with those who fixed the election to control the domestic agenda whilst leaving the likes of putin to do as he pleases …..
….but the financial support the US is giving Ukraine weakens this view .
I suppose Turkey going to was with Greece would be the least likely event – would not NATO see it before it happened ?
Both of them are NATO members Turkey invaded Cyprus and is still occupying it.
We saw the threats made by Erdogan at the time just before Brexit pushing Syrian (and many other nations) into the EU as bogus refugees which treacherous Merkel allowed into Germany.
Sanctions should have been applied back then to the Turkish state such as banning holidays there which is a vital part of their economy, and as it is very fragile anyway, it would probably have pushed it over the edge.
The northern part of Cyprus is certainly under de facto Turkish control. Turkey invaded in 1974, having first double-checked with another NATO member that happens to own territory on the island – the United Kingdom – who effectively said ‘Yes, that’s fine, as long as you don’t go near Akrotiri and Dhekelia’.

Apparently social media platforms are ‘breeding grounds for extremism’ that is amplified on ‘some’ news outlets’…hmmm…which outlets? I’m betting Fox and GBNews is in her little head.
What was interesting though, and not picked up by Myska still intent on decrying ‘social media’, was the claim that the problem was the MSM that focussed on the extreme voices and ideas and amplified them, making it hard for people to see other, more moderate, and more common, perspectives…..‘Common ground [between people] hidden by the media’.
The result of this is small groups of extreme, partisan voices drive the news narratives and people’s views.
Yeah…that’d be the BBC where a tiny group of like-minded people deep in their bunker attempt to control and rule the world, establishing certain ideas and beliefs as the only acceptable ones whilst portraying those with alternate ideas and beliefs as, well, ‘deplorables’…if not outright Nazis.
As examples of extreme polarisation the first clip was of someone shouting ‘What do we want? Brexit now!’…and then a clip of Jan 6.
So someone campaigning for Brexit is an extremist? And a rabble of protestors who went slightly too far…but possibly with encouragement from anti-Trump ‘government’ agents…and just how did they manage to so easily enter the Capitol building? Was it just too convenient to allow them in in order to then use that to create a whole narrative about ‘insurrection’ and Trump whipping up a civil war and thus justify a crackdown on political opponents? The power of nightmares? Was Jan 6 the Democrat’s ‘Reichstag’ moment…it’s cunning plan to steal power?
Who then are the real extremists…the protestors or those who invent ‘extremism’ in order to silence democratic dissent, who whip up the hatred of Trump and those who vote for him?
For example….no mention of this by Myska…Biden’s recent speech in which he demonised Republican voters as fascists…not to mention ‘You ain’t black if you don’t vote for me!’
Biden’s speech was an extremist lie…a malign attempt to whip up hatred and hostility, to turn ‘Republican’ into a dirty word, to make voting for them an act of hatred, to associate it with the Nazis.
Biden clung to the Flag, the Constitution, Democracy and ‘America’ whilst choosing to do so from what is possibly the Heart of America…as he said…no irony…

And yet Biden, from the place where the Declaration of Independence was made, makes a speech, ‘dark and disturbing’, that was fully intent on destroying the very things he declared were the very essence of America, that bright shining light, a beacon for the world as he denounced Republicans as fascists….following on from Clinton smearing them as ‘Deplorables’.
Myska and the BBC admit no recognition of Biden’s and the Democrat’s extremism and polarisation….the authoritarian attempt to use a crackdown on ‘dissent’ as a way to make America a one party state…their whipping up of hatred, anger and paranoia, their collusion with the Russians to unseat the President, destabilise US politics and to steal and corrupt the result of the 2016 election as well as their use of ‘militias’ as proxy armies to intimidate and bully opponents and others to ‘bend the knee’, to surrender their values and beliefs and instead submit to Democrat ideology and dictat.
No irony that the BBC doesn’t see any of this or of its own ‘liberal’ extremism as it campaigns for mass immigration, climate, abortion, the EU and against gun-rights, Brexit and white people and ‘whiteness’….campaigns for and demonises those who have different ideas.

Part 2 of David Dimly’s ‘Days that shook the BBC’, a brave breastbeater on BBC probity contained a couple of questionable features.
Divided into two sections, Iraq and Saville, the first provided ample and continuous evidence of Alistair Campbell’s utter contempt for truth and his arrogance when challenged on any aspect of his interpretations of it. This has to leave us wondering just how and why the BBC continue, repeatedly, to regard this lying thug as the go-to source of information and opinion and how the BBC reconcile this with DD’s theme.
On Saville – bearing in mind the program is supposedly an honest appraisal of the events surrounding the peroxide paedo’s exposure – not once despite frequent references to Newsnight and the burying of their lengthy research was the name Yentob mentioned. He appeared for a few frames in the audience at an Entwhistle press conference but that was it.
As an aside, Entwhistle’s brief tenure as Director General was revealed, perhaps accidentally, as that of the fall-guy – which tends to explain why someone with such a very common name could have been elected by the aloof elite on Floor 6.
Dimly’s 3-part work has simply shown that the BBC concept of honesty is continuously crafted to suit the circumstances, which is no honesty at all. But they don’t seem to appreciate the fact.

Adding to my last post, drilling a hole in a truck tyre is a very dangerous thing to do. Truck tyres are inflated to much higher pressures than car tyres and the sudden escape of high pressure air could theoretically cause the whole tyre to rip open and explode and possibly catch fire. The consequences to the driller or anyone in the vicinity could have been life changing as they were blasted by high velocity shards of rubber.

What I find shocking is how weak men are these days. The woman in that video handles a drill very well but the men put no effort into it.
Same for the lots trying to smash the petrol pumps with a hammer. None of them can get any weight behind the hammers and have to hit 20 times before they can break a 2mm thick plastic window.

It has been droughting on and off all day here, and we have had at least 35 minutes of very firm rain the like of which we have not seen here for some time, possibly all year so far.
I’m in Gosport, Hampshire and here we have had quite a few inches of torrential rain in the past 24 hours. I took the chance of a break in the rain to get my rotavator onto my allotment as the ground has been baked hard up until now.
I managed most of the plot before I rode over what looked like a damp patch only for my rotavator to dig itself 18 inches down into a sea of wet mud!
It is a vintage Howard and very, very heavy so getting it out of the hole was quite a challenge involving ropes round trees with pulleys!
Last week when using it it was bouncing and skipping over the ground as if it was concrete.
What a change in just a few days, must be Global Damping!
