I hope to God this is an accident as the last thing the world needs now is the little rocket man kicking it all off again against South Korea.

Suella Braverman for PM. That’s my choice. Let’s hope Liz Truss doesn’t impede her work on dewoking the police and stopping the boats.

Most of the anti -Truss hysteria is hyped up by the Tory old guard which is pro rejoining the EU. I include Boris in that. They are hoping that the Labour Party win the next election and will take Britain back in. They think they will be able to say ‘we” had nothing to do with it”.

Every line Braverman spoke in at the Conservative conferance was planned for the audiance to applaud. What was the content of the speech, what did she actually say that would put a stop to the invasion of immigrants/migrants swarming onto British shores?
Being an immigrant her self, no doubt she feels empathy towards such. Being born in the UK does not cancel the culture or ideology which in her case remains Asian/Indian. Going back into the EU would without doubt de-bunk, to use that phrase, of what this did to keep us safe these past 100+ years. Britain fought to free most of Europe and it cost us dearly in lives, but by their attitude one would not think so-I lived in France for a number of years and the reaction I got from those French people I got to know, was that they had a great deal of respect for Britain and were very unhappy with their current President who they felt was not helping France with its very concerning problems- one being over immigration.

Tarien. Braverman is British. She is the one of the few MP’s with enough courage to stand up for the British Empire. She was a staunch Brexiteer all along before dithering Boris came along and is not a recent convert like Liz Truss. She might have an Indian cultural background but that does not mean she has any affinity with the illegal invaders. Name one white tory MP of any ability that is prepared to be as tough as she is towards the illegals.

      ….

As the fleet approaches the Suez Canal, Egyptian military forces fire a warning shot, causing the fleet to steer south, around the Cape of Good Hope. To the surprise of observers, the apartheid regime of South Africa floats out barges of food and supplies, which the migrants throw overboard. The international press is thrilled, believing the rejection of these supplies to be a political statement against the apartheid South African regime. Western leaders, confident the migrants will accept supplies from their “more virtuous” nations, organize a supply mission, funded by governments, charities, rock stars and major churches, to meet the migrants off São Tomé. However, the fleet does not stop for these barges either, and when a worker from the Pope’s barge attempts to board one of the ships, he is strangled and thrown overboard. The press attempts to contain coverage of the murder.

When the migrants pass through the Strait of Gibraltar, the French president orders troops to the south and addresses the nation with his plan to repel them. However, in the middle of the address, he breaks down, demanding the troops simply follow their consciences instead. Most of the troops immediately desert their posts and join the civilians as they flee north, and the south is quickly overrun by the migrants. Some of the last troops to stand their ground take refuge in a small village, along with Calguès, an old man who has chosen to remain at his home, and Hamadura, a Westernized Indian who is terrified of his “filthy, brutish” countrymen and prides himself on having more in common with whites than Indians. The troops in this village, a total of nineteen Frenchmen and one Indian, surrounded by what they deem “occupied territory”, remain the last defense of Western values and “Free France” against the immigrants.

Geert Wilders never gets anywhere meaningful in the Netherlands despite having the advantage of proportional representation. I wonder if they will finally change and lend him their vote?
When will the British revolt? Since narrowly voting for Brexit the timid right wingers have gone back into their shell.
I do see comments on various sites saying “we need a Giorgia Meloni here”. Oh, very adventurous.
What would happen if there was someone like that in the UK would you vote for them.
” No can’t do that” would be the response.
The ‘right wing’ Brits are always threatening to vote for the milksop Reform party but in the event even this becomes too radical for them.

Agree-the most dangerous foe that will eventually force itself upon us are those that follow the teachings of Islam-they are already in places of power including the Government, their satanic idiolgy has crept all over our Media, TV, every magazine, even into telling us how to cook our food, such as Nadiya Hussain on the TV every day, why? Obvioulsy to increase the growing intergration of ethnic peoples, and to push the idea of Islam into every aspect of our lives. ‘They are not different you know’! Of course they are differen, there is nothing within Islam that is anyway near Christianity, or the values of which this nation endeavours to live by. Multiculturalism does not work and is continuing to destroy this nation.

I think I could write a guide book for emerging political parties. I was once in a party of the mild Left which began to make a name for itself and fell apart after an internal dispute following a unexpected election reversal. The setback was not devasting but the acrimony was.
I can’t see Richard Tice’s Reform Party getting anywhere, they’re not hungry enough but something could arise. Don’t give up.

      “define climate”

      “bbc says it is”

“so, a warming of the arctic, leads to fresh non salt water entering the North Atlantic bottom drift, which is salt water.

Fresh water will disrupt this leading to our climate being similar to Canada and Moscow who are on similar latitudes.
      Not warm.

but for arguments sake let us call it the gulf stream which I am sure you are more familiar with: I will defer to Wikipedia: this time:

The Gulf Stream, together with its northern extension the North Atlantic Drift, is a warm and swift Atlantic ocean current that originates in the Gulf of Mexico and flows through the Straits of Florida and up the eastern coastline of the United States then veers east near 36 latitude (North Carolina) and moves toward Northwest Europe as the North Atlantic Current. The process of western intensification causes the Gulf Stream to be a northwards accelerating current off the east coast of North America. At about 40°0′N 30°0′W, it splits in two, with the northern stream, the North Atlantic Drift, crossing to Northern Europe and the southern stream, the Canary Current, recirculating off West Africa.

The Gulf Stream influences the climate of the coastal areas of the east coast of the United States from Florida to southeast Virginia (near 36 north latitude), and to a greater degree the climate of Northwest Europe. There is consensus that the climate of northwest Europe is warmer than other areas of similar latitude at least partially because of the strong North Atlantic Current.[1][2][3] It is part of the North Atlantic Gyre. Its presence has led to the development of strong cyclones of all types, both within the atmosphere and within the ocean.

Absolutely right Zephir-the use of American speech, they call English, has pushed itself into our daily language-‘No one ain’t taught English like i was’. No indeed, reading, writing, and arithmatic, those were the main subjects I was taught, and until I had mastered those, I would not have moved up to other subjects, such as Physcis, Chemistry, Languages, et al. In my first job as an apprentice, I had to write a note to a customer and this was checked by by immediate boss. There was a pride in what we did, that followed on into later life. I can’t stop my Grandchildren from saying ‘Like’ but apart from that they read and write their language well. What will be their future? God alone knows.

As I said before, I am no expert in economics but I do appreciate
Our new chancellor has studied economics in detail, how many on here can say that ?

warteng was born in the London Borough of Waltham Forest on 26 May 1975,[3] the only child[4] of Alfred K. Kwarteng and Charlotte Boaitey-Kwarteng, who had emigrated from Ghana as students in the 1960s.[5][6] His mother is a barrister[7] and his father an economist in the Commonwealth Secretariat.[6][8]

After starting school at a state primary school in Waltham Forest,[9] Kwarteng attended Colet Court, an independent preparatory school in London, where he won the Harrow History Prize in 1988.[10] Then Kwarteng went to Eton College, where he was a King’s Scholar and was awarded the Newcastle Scholarship prize.[11] He read classics and history at Trinity College, Cambridge, achieving a first[11] and twice winning the Browne Medal.[12] He was a member of the team which won the BBC quiz show University Challenge in 1995.[6][13] At Cambridge, he was a member of the University Pitt Club, and has since returned to visit.[14] He was a Kennedy Scholar for a year at Harvard University,[11][15] and then earned a PhD in economic history from the University of Cambridge in 2000, with a thesis titled Political thought of the recoinage crisis of 1695–7.[16]

The countries of Africa, no doubt have some very intelligent capable people who could do so much to improve their own nations if given the opportunity, which sadly their governments will not provide-its easier for them to remain in the corruption scenario and enjoy the fruits of what their own people should be getting. So don’t blame Britain for your troubles Africa, its your governments that should d be blamed. Will it change? I doubt it as long as the pickings are so generous.

BBC bias all too clear this morning.
On Toady, the Bee Lady ‘interviews’ one of the BBC’ s go-to favourites, Gordon Brown. I say interview, but as usual more like a cosy fireside chat among buddies.

The topic is the threat of the evil Tories not increasing benefits by inflation but instead by the lower.average pay rise of the suckers who have to pay for it all

The Bee Lady, to be fair, does pick him up on his selective assertions. She points out that Universal Credit only went down last year because it had gone up to cover the Covid period. She points out those on benefits are getting £1050 towards their energy bills.

But crucially she allows him to get away with it every time. He just swats these comments away and carries on with his thesis, as an experienced politician should. There is no follow up, no challenge.

There is not a cat in hells chance that the same gentle questioning and acceptance of the obfuscatory answers given would be used by the BBC on the Tories.

GB News has many virtues , one of them is the reasonable questioning of guests who are climate change fanatics or liberals supporting mass migration.
In both cases as their lies, deceits , exaggerations are stripped away they fall back on the argument that their position is the only moral one and that our country must set an example to the rest of the world.
They seem to forget that back in the first half of the nineteenth century we did in fact set an example by outlawing slavery and we lost a lot of sailors and spent billions in todays money on enforcing that ban.
We took the moral high ground and defended it against all comers. It hasn’t done us much good has it!

The Indian government has supported the Russians

Chickens are about to come home to roost today, and we in Britain are going to pay the price of the criminality of the Mafia Democrat crime party.

In an attempt to bribe Americans into voting for them the criminals have been releasing 1 million barrels of oil from the strategic oil reserve. This reserve was meant for a time of national emergency, not so criminal hucksters could use it to bolster their election prospect, and there now needs to be legal measures to prevent Socialists doing this in the future.

OPEC has decided to quietly wait in the wings until the SOR is depleted to cut back production, not wishing to enter a tit for tat war with the US and appearing to be confrontational with a man who they know has absolutely no morality, and to whom criminality comes naturally.

So they have waited patiently while the criminals got on with bribing the US electorate, and now the West is hit with a number of problems all at the same time which the criminal and incompetent Socialists have created for us.

Aside from the fact the lunatic Democrats have swallowed the Green pill and destroyed Americas energy independence they are now going to have to buy oil to restock the SOR at a time when there is less oil and it costs a lot more money. This is going to put pressure on the remaining oil supplies forcing prices up even further.

Today OPEC meets to decide on the scale of the cutbacks in production, and it would not surprise me to find the price per Litre of fuel by Christmas is hitting £3 a litre

Just to make the criminal incompetence even worse the EU is about to decide an energy price cap on Russian oil and gas, which will work by sanctioning countries who buy it at full price. This is suicidal and it’s not as if the lunatic Socialist w***kers in the EU don’t know it, they’ve had enough warnings, but just as the Germans were warned about gas, no warning is strong enough to knock sense into those thick heads.

So now we have a situation where the worlds oil production is threatened even further because if countries say they won’t buy Russian oil they have to get it elsewhere, and if they do at a lower price they gain a competetive advantage over others. If India and China both buy at full price the West will not receive the goods it absolutely needs for its citizens to survive.

Therefore the pressure on the price and availability of oil becomes even greater, and there might even be an oil shortage. I would urge everyone reading this to make sure your tank is full and regularly topped up, and if you have available storage, fill that as well !

Speaking yesterday to The Telegraph, Ms Hughes, who works in the private sector
said: ‘They can do that to me because of their media policy.
I am not allowed to say anything.
I have brought the company into disrepute so *yes I am being sacked*’

Asked if she meant what she said by host Jeremy Vine, she replied: ‘No, of course I would, of course I would.(resuscitate a Tory)’

‘But it is appalling the way we have been treated. All nurses have been slapped in the face.’

“That is the point I was trying to make and yet I had someone goading me from the other side of the studio and laughing. It made me so angry and I directed the comment at him.”

Mrs Hughes added: “I lost my temper and I said something inappropriate. Now I am going to lose my job because the Twitterati have gone to town.

“I am being vilified for being some monster that doesn’t care and unfortunately the problem is I care too much.”

Mrs Hughes stepped down from a front line nursing role in 2020 and became a trainer at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust, as part of the education and workforce development team.
She left the trust last year.

Now she works for some Surrey Uni business.
    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/10/04/nurse-says-conservative-voters-dont-deserve-resuscitated-nhs/

So AFAIK she hasn’t actually been sacked yet
I don’t support instant sacking of people for speech-crime, there should be a proper process.
Heat of the moment comments are special
I’m more concerned how she was *selected* for two different shows.

    • StewGreen says:

Until you meet scientists and talk with them it is easy to believe the myth that what “scientists say” is science.
With Simon Webb’s info we contested scientists on 3 occasions in Leicester.
The BBC’s official DNA expert told us she did not mis-speak when she said lots of African slaves were brought to Britain
Indeed she doubled down and insisted that black Africans had been in Britain since Roman times and were quite common
So we asked “Do you have DNA evidence for that ? cos that would mean the DNA would show up in lots of modern people”
She replied “No we don’t see it. that DNA must have become diluted”

The FA’s sociology expert on football hooliganism seemed to be of a similar mindset.

A University archaeologist also made similar claims.
      So we asked about DNA
He said African DNA had been found in one body 80,000 years old
and that for the rest in the last 2,000 years it was skull shape provides the evidence and DNA proof is sure to come sometime in the future
.. That of course is not a scientific way of speaking.
So I conclude that in education there is strong groupthink that black Africans must be quite common in Britain’s history.

Saudi Arabia has won the right to host the Asian Winter Games in 2029.

The Games will take place in Trojena, Neom city, a planned mountain resort that is due to be completed in 2026.

Surrounded by the Sarawat mountains, temperatures are cooler in the region and it aims to be a year-round destination for winter sports.

Neom chief executive Nadhmi Al-Nasr said the venue “will have a suitable infrastructure to create the winter atmosphere in the heart of the desert”.

The tourist destination will have the Gulf’s first outdoor ski resort, a man-made freshwater lake and is planned to be powered by renewable energy.

There will be natural snow on the mountains but some artificial snow will also be used.

OPEC have now agreed to cut oil production by double the expected amount 2 million barrels a day. It’s worse than that though and the Biden mafia crime party know it only too well with Transitory Yellen on the phone to Saudi begging them not to cut production completely snubbed.

This of course is unlikely to be reported.

    But it gets worse

2 million a day is the cut, then there is the ending of the release of 1 million barrels a day making it 3 millions effectively, then on top of that the US has to replenish the strategic reserve which is going to have to be at least .5 million a day meaning the world is going to be seeing a reduction of 3.5 million barrels a day.

On top of this we have the loons at the EU attempting to cut off Russian oil supplies to the world completely – something has got to give and it is going to be supplies of fuel to ordinary people, and huge rises in the costs of food and other essentials, as we have built a society where food production has been steadily moved further and further away from consumers.

This is not a good sign for the coming Winter keep your vehicles filled as you never know when fuel will go into short supply.

I ve just watched Mark Steyn on GB news and found it the most depressing show ever. It’s depressing because Mark hammers home the uselessness of our institutions relentlessly with brilliant analysis and real examples.

The police have abandoned law enforcement as we once knew it , in favour of political policing anything which might be construed as anti woke. The police are becoming the enemies of ordinary folks who once supported them to the hilt.

The idea that we , citizens of the UK I mean, might expect our government to protect our borders has been abandon in favour of what is in reality an open house .

The rights of migrants are clearly much more important than those of native Britons.

Events of the past few weeks clearly demonstrate that despite Brexit our government still does what it told to do by supranational organisations. The whole point of Brexit was to stop doing this.

The government is clearly preparing the ground for the hand over of Northern Ireland to the Republic in the next decade or so.

The NHS and the rest of the health industry has been complicit in the international vaccine scandal.

The MSM has joined the international liberal establishment and just spews forth WEF propaganda. The Online harm Bill will just be used to further undermine free speech and the ability to tell and hear the truth. GBN is very likely to be forced to toe the line on the official narrative or face closure.

The Tories are almost indistinguishable from Lib Dems and Labour. Therefore we don’t have a democracy.

I could go on but the feeling of systematic betrayal by every PM since Lady Thatcher is overwhelmingly depressing.
