      What’s going on there ?
Yep certain anti-vac campaigners can be deceitful and harmful so it’s right to call them out.
.. However it’s not good of the BBC to be deceitful in doing that.
*Selective* fact checking is inherently deceptive.

The BBC headline there is “They died suddenly – then the anti-vax trolling started”
..Is that a proper headline ?
The headline deliberately using the title of a documentary to get hits
The headline should be “FactCheck of ‘Died Suddenly’ the new internet documentary”

The Twitter line could be more accurate
“New documentary falsely blames Covid vaccines for deaths of SOME young people”

There is no need to apostrophy ‘documentary’ ..as all documentaries may contain misinfo.
Apostrophying is often a bullying technique that unfairly puts shade on people.
Just show the evidence and let the people decide.

The partisan antics around vaccination won’t go away.

There are side effects – but the BBC it seems won’t acknowledge problems with the medications and scope them out in a rational, transparent way – NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

I have as little time for the BBC’s position as for the plainly mad 5G nanobot crowd.

But then … why should the BBC take a partisan position at all?

Some irony when an explicitly tasked disinformation reporter assigned to try and hatchet by way of smear something that she has little knowledge of – but then Rachael has, it seems – quite a few “previous” smeary episodes:

Let’s not mention the BBC’s (STV actually) “Vaccinated” effort with Hannah Fry

Qatar has taken “real steps” to ensure the safety of gay fans attending the World Cup, Foreign Secretary James Cleverly has said.

Mr Cleverley told the BBC he had had “difficult conversations” with Qatari counterparts and had been clear how seriously the UK takes the issue.

The build-up to the tournament has seen concerns raised over LGBT as well as broader human rights in Qatar.

The media narrative is that the poorest people experience the average rate of food inflation.
My experience is that shops have jacked up some prices especially luxury ones lot
but a poor person can just buy the cheapest thing not the normal thing and shopping is still pretty cheap.

Whilst milk has gone up a lot from a super low, cheese and dairy is sold off very cheaply on the last day. etc.

In my opinion the biggest rip-off are Walkers Crisps. I really find it hard to believe that folks will shell out the best part of a pound for 25g of cooked spud shavings at the corner shop.

Spuds are still pretty much the cheapest raw material veg out there pound for pound.

I recall a bag of Smiths crisps used to cost threepence in the 1950’s and came complete with a separate bag of salt!

Then again Ebay are currently offering 1950’s threepence’s for 99p so maybe that’s how Walkers set their prices?

          https://planetradio.co.uk/greatest-hits/bath/news/banes-council-accused-of-dishonesty-over-anti-terror-plans/

The council wants the road closed for 12 hours every day, partly to prevent terror attacks where vehicles are used as weapons and partly to protect pedestrians from vehicles merely trying to park or drop off things, because the dead end road is so narrow.

The proposals would form part of Bath’s so called “Ring of Steel”, which has already seen other roads including Cheap Street, Westgate Street and Upper Borough Walls closed to cars from 10am to 6pm daily.

2:15pm R4 drama starts. It’s a repeat but I can tell from the voice and then the graphic that a black female is the main character
The writer Sian Ejiwunmi-Le Berre is black too.

The drama is about the meeting of two 18th-century women writers – Frances Burney and the French Germaine de Stael – as told by the latter’s African servant Louise-Marie.

    reviewer says
“The servant is an enslaved woman (at the beginning; she’s freed by the end), trafficked from the Congo and now called Louise-Marie, and thus literally embodies the social group with the least access to literature”

OK drama is drama, and there was no actual written account of what happened at that real life meeting.
The blurb says “Luckily, Germaine’s *real-life* African servant Louise-Marie was there, and she’s determined to tell the tale of Fanny and Germaine in their own words – and her own inimitable “novelish style”..
..em was there a real life black maid ?
Cos it seems to me that is a *fictional* character

Outside of pages about the play there is no source that says that says Stael had such a servant.

“…and don’t you worry. It’s coming to a place near you…we cannot have state subsidized preachers…give it up or give it to your deadliest enemy and pay for the rope that will choke you.“

Let us all stop funding UK terrorism!

It would seem Khalid Masood (Westminster Attack 22.03.2017 5 Innocents Killed) was on benefits which comes out of National Insurance payments by the workers of the UK. Thus, it would seem prior to these findings the workers in the UK were unknowingly funding terrorism.

But now we know terrorists operate using welfare benefits it would seem we are knowingly paying terrorists.

Can I suggest that the Government please make sure NI payments by UK workers don’t go into the hands of terrorists by removing the terrorists in the first place. Can you also calculate how much we have/are funded terrorism via welfare benefits by simply getting all known terrorists (left, right, islamic) arrested to-date and those on the watch list and check welfare payments made to them or their immediate family (under various names possibly).

Another example is where imams preaching intolerance such as Anjem Choudary (preached hate 1999-2016) to his hundreds of worshippers (5 times a day, everyday), can all imams be checked if they are on welfare benefits, paid by UK workers, and these payments be stopped immediately. It is the community that needs to fund the imams if they want religious teachings, similar to how the Church of England was funded with donations in the past.

      . . . .

The father-of-four (Anjem Choudary preaching hate 1999-2016) takes home more than £25,000 a year in benefits and lives in a £320,000 house in Leytonstone

      . . .

“…and don’t you worry. It’s coming to a place near you…we cannot have state subsidized preachers…give it up or give it to your deadliest enemy and pay for the rope that will choke you.“

No, the amazing thing was that, in a moment surely of madness, the BBC put up a graph of numbers of Home Office case workers versus number of decisions over time.

And here is the rub. Since 2015, the number of Home Office case workers decisions per day has declined from 1.5 to 0.6.
The decisions per annum is the same despite the number of caseworkers nearly trebling.

Can you imagine ANY business surviving with that track record of productivity?

This, dear reader, is the performance of the Home Office laid bare.

From the BBC website – somewhere odd…

“Retired people are switching from known brands to cheaper own-brand products as well as shopping around more. Remember to always check the price per kg on products: the big labels advertising offers are sometimes deceiving. Plus, meat is often the most expensive thing on the plate. A study from Oxford University showed that veganism could be a third cheaper than other diets, with vegetarianism close behind. That said, simply cutting back on meat and dairy as a ’flexitarian’ – eating a maximum of one portion of red meat and two of poultry or fish each week – saved 14%.”

What absolute bollocks! The beeboid which stuck this up should have it’s pension and huge wages bill stopped immediately!

Vague percentages, portions, expense of meat (ferchrissakes, chicken legs are just a few pence for a huge pile), all adding up to the drip drip drip of leftie control and innuendo and screams at citizens who are on a budget, but might listen to real advice, not disgraceful crap which is totally out of order!

Like I said earlier, I feed our dog on the basics which cost hardly anything; vegans and veggies (the latter being slightly more sensible) should wake up to the fact that they’re putting themselves at risk, but they know that the ennaychess will bail them out one day so they don’t care!

I watched PMQ’s today. Once again the SNP were getting quite a few questions. I understand they got six questions, a totally disproportionate number. Apparently questions are chosen by ballot so why so many for the SNP? I can only think that Speaker Hoyle went off piste and called them himself. It’s not the first time that I’ve noticed Hoyle doing that.
After a particularly long monologue (question) by Starmer, Sunak set off with a long reply only to be stopped mid stream by Hoyle. It’s not the first time he’s done that. I remember Boris being pulled up a couple of times by Hoyle, letting Starmer drone on.
Hoyle the Speaker is certainly not unbiased.

      What is the Barnett formula?
The Barnett formula is used by the UK Treasury to calculate the annual block grants for the Scottish government, Welsh government and Northern Ireland executive. It therefore determines the overall funding available for public services such as healthcare and education in the devolved nations.

In 2019/20[1], the Barnett block grant amounted to £32bn in Scotland, £16bn in Wales and £12bn in Northern Ireland (before adjustments to account for tax devolution). This reflects differences in population size as well as the range of devolved public services in each nation.

The wife wanted to watch some football tonight so I was forced to endure an hour and a half of the racist bbc black and sexist propaganda.

Lineker and three blacks, an ex England black player, and they managed to find an ex Belgium black player and of course a black wimmin footballer who is obviously an expert on mens’ football..

She excelled herself talking about “Canadia”

Alongside good old Rio Ferdinand an’ his missin “g”s, still at least he has some experience to offer.

And at half time, one wimmin expert interviewing the Welsh mens’ team and another wimmin expert for the England mens’team of course.

Still not quite as gruelling as listening the the wimmin footballer ITV had the gall to be advising the commentator in the last tournament.
FFS, her inability to use the English language was astounding for someone paid to use their voice, it was painful to listen to.
She sounded like a reject from Birds of a Fevva with a strangulation of the King’s English that would have made Peggy Mitchell from the Queen Vic blush. I was so annoyed I fired a complaint in “wiv sum choyce kwotes from ‘er” but received no reply.

And I see FIFA are excelling themselves finding black referees and two wimmin linesmen, one black of course, and one token asian, Jesus wept it never ends.

The readership may be interested in the following (as the BBC won’t be, as it’s in an EU country. I thought that the EU was progressive, humanitarian, open and friendly, welcoming to guests etc. Meanwhile in France.

    https://www.thenewhumanitarian.org/news-feature/behind-the-housing-crisis-for-asylum-seekers-in-france

If the link does not work I’ve included a few lines of the report from The publication “The Humanitarian”. It tells us –

The French policies directed towards foreigners incites people to leave.

In the years since 2015, the housing situation for asylum seekers in France has only gotten worse, according to rights advocates, despite promises by President Emmanuel Macron early in his term to make sure all were housed.

At the root of the issue is a chronic shortage of housing units for asylum seekers that advocates say is part of an intentional strategy by French authorities to try to dissuade people from seeking protection in the country.
“There is a chronic under-budgeting, which means that the state will never have the resources to meet the demand [for housing],” said Christophe Pouly, head of Sciences Po Law School’s legal clinic on migration. “From official information and what government actors say, we can see that it is not just a budgetary problem. There is a desire to put less money towards this.”

Instead of investing in ending homelessness for people seeking protection, French authorities have cracked down on makeshift encampments erected to provide shelter for asylum seekers and migrants left on the streets. The often forceful expulsions by police have continued during the COVID-19 pandemic, leaving thousands of people without alternative shelter.

Meanwhile during times of economic difficulty we pay £7,000,000 per day to make sure we put ungrateful migrants in hotels so that they can trash them and complain that we don’t do enough. Well for me enough is enough. Whenever any politician, councillor, tax collector etc wants my vote, opinion, comment, money my response will only to direct them to our borderless country and continuous invasion and once they have dealt with it then we can move on.

It would be good to see people bring the country to a complete standstill until immediate action on the control of our borders is made. This is a national crises and should amount to putting us on a war footing when ‘drastic’ action can be taken such as towing boats back into friendly waters and accelerating the repatriation of those who are unhappy in hotel accommodation with free available GP’s, dentists, food, etc.

Vote REFORM, all else are a lost cause.

They said that every day they have a ‘target’ which is someone they have all taken great offence at. The example given was something like a parent (male of course) who only gave his daughter a can of beans to eat one day. He became the target for the whole twitter groupthink gang to vent their unpleasant and cantakerous characters at. In their minds, he deserved such utter humiliation and scorn.

    Hail, Caesar edition!

Gold coin proves ‘fake’ Roman emperor was real – our BBC there reporting that experts have just declared the obscure third century Emperor: Sponsian the first, who was purged from history by experts – wasn’t fake news afterall.

In a minor article the Telegraph also happens to remind us of the fallibility of so-called experts and the moveable feast that is The Science: Scientists ignored lab link theory for Covid …including Sir Patrick Vallance were warned that Covid-19 could have evolved in laboratory animals, but collaborated in a paper that shut down the lab leak theory – I’m not sure why the Telegraph substituted the word ‘link’ for the more eye-catching ‘leak’ in their headline to this report. One also notes the passive voice doing a lot of heavy lifting evolving that virus in that lab. Certain people unwilling to mention the Chinese in an unfavourable light?

    All hail the experts, eh?

Meanwhile German sportsmen, formerly well accustomed to that political gesture known as the Roman salute, have a new one for us – you’ll recognise it as the motion associated with the third of the three wise monkeys – speak no evil.

Actions speak louder than words – paradoxically and presumably unironically (tongue in cheek, anyone?) asserts that corporate advertising freesheet that is the Metro: German players cover mouths to protest ruling

This of course in reference to the prior Qatar World Cup furore that was: Arm band stand (Metro) – the Germans collectively regretting being stripped of the chance to wear a rainbow emblazoned on that fabric article of ideological identity which they made famous.

I’m being more than a bit naughty joshing with the Jerries about a certain period in their history, for which I ought to apologise and I’ll say nothing about their old axis alliance pals the Japanese beating them 2-1 in the football.

There’s only one phrase suitable to describe all this stuff – taking the knee, rainbow armbands, speak no evil gestures… and we all know what that term is…

Post credits stinger? Blooper reel? Call it what you will…

One had to smile at this one: Waitrose changes Christmas advert after complaints (BBC) – wot, not enough black people?

    Au contraire…

Waitrose has changed a part of its Christmas advert that showed two farmers comparing sun tans… (BBC) – has light-hearted joshing about skin colour upset the ethnic lobby, perhaps?

    Wrong again…

…it was criticised by skin cancer patients. – I doubt that. How thin-skinned can they be?

More like social media fantasists with nothing better to do. See here: One person who has melanoma commented on Waitrose’s Facebook post of the advert, saying she found it “absolutely astonishing that a company like yourselves should be showing farmers glorifying in their sun tans” (BBC) – yep, I’m sure you have, luv. Glorifying in is bad English – you’re either foreign or a fairly youthful graduate of our modern schools.

And of course the boys and girls at the Beeb thought this would make news – as opposed to fake news.

And on that awkward note… social media fantasists and all… that really is the last word… for today.

Fed, will you be using the Dominion machines to count the vote or will it be done honestly?

EG – we will use the Biden counting method . This involves running dominion machines to count votes which you have already cast .

A week after the vote closes we will have disposed of unapproved votes which through the net and replace them at 3 in the morning when thevCCTV cameras are switched off . No one involved may possess a mobile phone …

The 2024 vote result will be published at the same time …

TOADY Watch #1 – the BBC newsreaders report with a certain enthusiasm ……

… that Civil Servants in several departments are to make complaints against Dominic Raab. They forced the removal of Boris Johnson, they endlessly attacked Priti Patel when Home Secretary, now they are going after Dominic Raab while saving the PM for later, no doubt. Is it just me or is there a very nasty smell about all of this?

Never mind the rats and the crumbling stonework, Parliament’s £13 billion restoration project has a new priority: gender-neutral bathroom targets.

In “gender identity” documents leaked to the Telegraph, both the Commons and the Lords’ Diversity and Inclusion teams – yes, they both have one – have stated that any new buildings on the estate should have “minimum” gender-neutral toilet targets, with the aim of having “70 per cent gender-neutral toilets with a 30 per cent split between either male and female facilities”, with existing buildings having at least 10 per cent.

Jail toilets face away from Mecca
Facilities in a prison are being built so Muslim inmates do not have to face Mecca while sitting on the toilet.

The Home Office said two new toilet blocks are being installed as part of a refurbishment at Brixton jail in south London.

Faith leaders had told prison bosses it was unacceptable for Muslim inmates to face Mecca while using the toilet.

“The refurbishment has been carried out with due consideration for all faiths”, a Home Office spokeswoman said.
“Following consultation with faith leaders within the prison, various small adjustments were made to ensure the faith issues of all prisoners are taken into account.”

She added: “The money spent did not affect the overall cost of the refurbishment programme.”

      MM,

Boy how the Marxists laughed !!. They never believed such a short application of ‘Critical Theory’ would have such a beneficial effect for their cause………………

Exposes just how gullible those with the power in this country, are. ‘Dim’ doesn’t begin to cover it.
