Hmmmn…. there’s a coincidence, I just call by to see if Fed has put up a new Thread …. and he has. Am beaten to top slot by Emmanuel, well done EG. Will we get any surprises from the BBC this weekend? No? Probably not.

Just more lobbying against Brexit, more lobbying against our Royal Family and more lobbying against the Government and in favour of the Labour Party. Jonny Dymond should have tried harder not to show pleasure in his voice at the Chester by-election result on TWatO today.

Where did EG go? He was here? Oh, by the way, I thoroughly endorse Fed’s suggestion that you cancel your TV Licence and give up watching TV. It’s the only sensible thing to do in the-cost-of-living-crisis. Save £159 and spend it on food, on gifts, on the children and grandchildren and on a film from the DVD shelf at the Charity Shop.

Interesting point you make about DVDs, Uppers!

Our local charity shop is heaving these days, with all sorts of stuff which is normal for such emporiums, but the DVD shelf is a third of what it used to be!

I guess it must be that there’s so much money being spent on Netflix, or other streaming kit! Senora O’Blene and I just buy each other DVDs for Christmas, and Ebay saves an awful lot of the money we don’t spend on the TV tax, but she very nearly vetoed my selection of ‘Prime Suspect’, because the gorgeous Helen Mirren is the sort of lady that a red-blooded but ageing Scrobs appreciates even more these days…

So what … who cares ?

More visits to yoof clubs in Peckham / jartown

More coloured celebs getting gongs ( right Lennie ?)

More niceness to the coloured commonwealth

Trying to find a coloured commonwealth country which likes us( not just the handouts )

Yet another eat or heat whingeathon.

Not on the news. Record ski bookings, ahead of pre-pandemic levels to several Alpine resorts.

Not at all the sort of thing the BBC doom-mongers want to admit.

I understand that quite a lot of covid cash (furlough) was stashed during the lockdowns – although some of it is being burnt on increased cost of food / fuel – there must still be a surplus ….
There needs to be because the cost of flying now can really hurt ….

On BBC news, some BBC nobody catches the Tesco CEO for an interview.

Cue the inevitable sob stories about the high price of food.

The nobody then sticks in the politics of envy stuff. ‘Are your shareholders more important than your customers’..

You absolutely stupid bozo. Without share capital there would be no business. And then there would be no customers. And barely any food supply chain.

If the BBC really cared about those on limited incomes maybe they could unilaterally lower the licence fee. Or even remove it, saving poor families £159. How about that?

Anything to help people live where others don’t ask where you came from or your people/ families etc .

I remember a police constable ( who had a Scottish western isles accent) asking where I originated from because he detected a [____] accent from me . Most are surprised if I tell them I was born there. Needless to say I was mortified for three months thereafter.

How an election is stolen in more than one way:
Twitter famously blocked its uses from sharing the New York Post’s reporting of Hunter Biden’s laptop in tweets and in direct messages.

At the time, Twitter Safety alleged that the articles were in violation of its “hacked materials policy.” Twitter’s then-CEO Jack Dorsey admitted his companies actions were a mistake.

Many critics believe the suppression of the Hunter Biden scandal by Big Tech and the media at large was enough to sway the election in favor of his father.

“Twitter owner Elon Musk released bombshell revelations about what led the tech giant to suppress the Hunter Biden story in the final weeks of the 2020 presidential election.

After a lengthy delay, Musk outsourced his findings to Substack journalist Matt Taibbi, who published a lengthy thread about what had transpired behind the scenes at Twitter.

“Some of the first tools for controlling speech were designed to combat the likes of spam and financial fraudsters. Slowly, over time, Twitter staff and executives began to find more and more uses for these tools. Outsiders began petitioning the company to manipulate speech as well: first a little, then more often, then constantly,” Taibbi wrote. “By 2020, requests from connected actors to delete tweets were routine. One executive would write to another: ‘More to review from the Biden team.’ The reply would come back: ‘Handled.'”

Taibbi shared a screenshot of that October 2020 exchange featuring links to tweets Biden’s team allegedly wanted taken down.

“Both parties had access to these tools. For instance, in 2020, requests from both the Trump White House and the Biden campaign were received and honored. However… This system wasn’t balanced,” Taibbi wrote. “It was based on contacts. Because Twitter was and is overwhelmingly staffed by people of one political orientation, there were more channels, more ways to complain, open to the left (well, Democrats) than the right.”

“The resulting slant in content moderation decisions is visible in the documents you’re about to read. However, it’s also the assessment of multiple current and former high-level executives,” the journalist teased.

He then quickly pivoted to the “Twitter Files” regarding the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story.

Taibbi tweeted “there’s no evidence – that I’ve seen” that the federal government had a role in suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story but that “the decision was made at the highest levels of the company, but without the knowledge of CEO Jack Dorsey, with former head of legal, policy and trust Vijaya Gadde playing a key role.”

And how is everyone’s first black Christmas going ?

All those millions of white wives enjoying themselves ? looking forward to two black eyes if the turkey is dry ?

Carribean domestic violence is endemic. Never to be mentioned at the racist bbc.

“Recent studies conducted in Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago indicate that 27-40 percent of women reported to have experienced violence at the hands of their partners.

The prevalence surveys also confirm that the persistence of risks of violence that women face in the home and the community is rooted in gender inequality. Inequitable gender norms support male dominance in intimate partner relationships. Over the past decade, efforts towards women’s empowerment and gender equality have also been undermined by a misguided notion of male marginalization in the region, resulting in pushback against interventions aimed at the empowerment of women and girls. There is a strong culture of silence and acceptance surrounding the topic of GBV in the Caribbean”

Alex Jones files for bankruptcy after Sandy Hook verdict
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-63837309

‘Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has filed for personal bankruptcy after he was ordered to pay almost $1.5bn (£1.2bn) for falsely claiming a 2012 school shooting was a hoax.’

Ordered to pay £1.2bn because of something he said. And you can just sense the hate from the BBC in the article.

Now he’s ruined and has been silenced. Just like Belfield. And like Belfield, he’s been held responsible for what other people did.

And they’re trying to get Trump for the same thing.

Meanwhile Muslim hate preachers get to live a comfotable life in the country they hate. This one has just been released and is free to start again:

    https://www.opindia.com/2022/09/hate-preacher-anjem-choudary-back-spread-his-bile-and-this-time-target-hindus/

Not reported by the BBC at all as far as I can tell. But I did find this in the DT about him and how the BBC gave him a platform:

‘The court heard how he had hundreds of media contacts who he would tip off before high profile demonstrations and stunts, including 31 journalists from the BBC.

Last night Tory MP Andrew Bridgen said: “The BBC has given this man hours of airtime down the years providing him with a platform to express his views.

“It was never with the intention of adding to the debate but simply for shock value. I wonder who the Corporation will now turn to as its voice of British Muslims?”

In 2013 the media regulator Ofcom launched an investigation into the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 after Choudary appeared on various programmes in the wake of the Woolwich terror attack.’

OFCOM found them ‘Not In Breach’ on all counts.

Hence fat women with GENUINE medical conditions should not be ridiculed.

All the others can be. It might do them good by making them diet and live longer.

Had a similar problem years ago when I took my elderly father to the doctors who said he needed to go to hospital due to being anemic.Dropped father off at the ward got home and received a call about an hour later.I couldn’t understand what the nurse was saying the only word I understood was father. After several attempts to understand her I just put the phone down.Thought I’d give it five minutes and call back hoping to get a nurse who spoke English but got the same one so phone down again! I was obviously a bit concerned as something may have happened to him so asked my sister to call I think she got the same woman but the upshot was the he shouldn’t have been sent to the hospital so had to go back and collect him.

I supposed the chances of getting a different nurse to answer were slim as there weren’t that many nurses on the wards. One that he was on once had three to look after thirty beds I was regularly going over to some of the other old geezers in his section when nobody came when they pressed their buzzers I got know the store room quite well as I was always fetching bottles for them to pee in on one occasion I even escorted one of them to the toilet. That was when we could visit him and the hospital wasn’t closed to visitors due to some outbreak or something not surprising as some of the rooms were filthy he once dropped something down the side of his little cabinet as I picked it up my hand came back out covered in dust and filth!

By the way this was under the government of Saint Tony Blair so it’s just not the Conservatives BBC as you would have us believe.

I had a similar communication problem with a therapist at the hospital, only this wasn’t recently it was around 40 years ago in the early 80’s !! My GP sent me to see a lady about marital issues – but when I was in her office, she clearly wasn’t married (ok), but was also of a different culture (awkward), but the biggest obstacle was communication, during the hour’s consultation, I lost count of the number of times I said “pardon ? “, “sorry ? “, “I didn’t quite catch that”.

I returned to my GP and said ‘that was a bit useless, you send me to a lady who isn’t married, is not of our culture, and I couldn’t understand her ! ” As it was a different time, he apologised and hadn’t realised and referred me to someone else. Today he probably would have mealymouthed his way around it without outright calling me a racist.

In particular when it comes to news on

There are one or two things going on here. It’s either
Getty’s from whom they get the imaging from, only use
black models.Or BIG BROTHER from the diversity department
tell Getty’s that they only want imaging of black models.
And I very much expect that it is the latter. Because out
of a 3.5% Caribbean, African ethnicity in the UK . Getty’s

Even if you are angry with the international plan to destroy the West and its so-called, ‘Democracy’, you at least have to marvel at the mechanics of the plan and its execution/progress. There must be an army of personnel tucked away somewhere, constantly watching developments and making fine adjustments. What tacticians! Overseeing the overall destruction with its individual country plans is truly amazing. Imagine the consternation when Trump was elected? But they overcame the obstacles with joint efforts between their tentacles. For example the MSM/BBC/CNN et al.

Not long to go now, they must be telling themselves. The US fiat Dollar is about to be ditched for the Chinese currency backed by Gold. That’ll make reversal of their efforts impossible. Let’s face it, the efforts of the cabal is designed to emulate the form of Chinese control of its people and extend it Worldwide. No ‘leader’ can baulk at that. Control they’ve always sought. Some even voicing their desire for a Communist system (Trudeau).

We are living through the relentless punishment right now and the hate is piling on, palpably, day after day. I don’t think destruction of the West will stop at replicating the Chinese system. The cabal will not stop until people die in their millions if not billions. Naturally, the West was first to be destroyed: the only hope of challenging the looming Communism was from the West. But the tacticians were there first. As Klaus announced, they have people (agents) in all Cabinets. For us, the agents are in the two top prime positions in Government.

    San fairy ann.

Posts in education, the Civil Service and NHS were successfully secured and there is no turning back. There is currently no one right of centre capable of changing this status quo. The best hope is that it eats itself, like communism eventually does …

Instead if complaining direct to the palace Marlene waited 18 hours and then went public on Twitter
Mandu Reid cooperated by tweeting simultaneously, as a backup, cos she had been there accompanying Marlene
Racebaity journo Nadi White put out an interview 4 hours later with them.
Strangely her Twitter account @Nadine _Writes has been shut down.

Note the nasty and rude tone of Shola”s tweet.

I must remember to write to my mp and ask why the public has not been given the alternative telephone number for the Chinese Police.

BBC WEB-SITE Watch #1 – that could have been phrased better, where’s an Editor when you need one?

On the Home News page that links to the article, the clicky is titled ‘Major Cities plan zero wheelchair-accessible homes which suggests it is a future goal ….
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-62638644
… whereas the article is titled ‘Revealed: Major cities failing to plan for any wheelchair accessible homes’

which is rather different. I actually do not believe that article because I seem to remember a big fuss being made by the Labour Party not long after they came to power and John Prescott got a major change in building regulations through Parliament. I actually live in a house built to the Prescott Regulations. Maybe the fault is that of Building Inspectors (a.k.a. Civil Servants) who are not checking that houses and apartment blocks fully comply with the Prescott Regulations?

In addition to the dodgy writing (got the trainees and work-experience students in again?) the BBC Picture Editors have made a poor choice of Getty Images for their headline picture. It is obvious that the wheelchair occupant can reach the wheelchair access button but is deliberately trying to make out it is beyond his reach. In addition, he has approached it head on whereas you would think that someone of intelligence would approach it at an angle in their wheelchair so they not only could reach the disabled door open button easily but be lined up ready to go through the door as it opens.

    Ooooops! Massive failure, that one.

US Air Force unveils new B-21 Raider nuclear stealth bomber
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-63845082

Someone should tell Marita that a) It is just a bomber : it can carry any type of bomb and b) just about all the the other aircraft they have can carry nukes as well. She writes the article like this is something unique to this aircraft.

But hey, facts never stop a BBC clone writing stupid headlines. To be fair, I am almost certain she has never even seen a military aircraft up close and knows absolutely nothing about them. But she got taken on and they have to give her something to do to make her feel important (as is her God given right as a woman).

Here she is. Writing about military aircraft. Another example of the ‘new’ BBC:

The Four Pests campaign (Chinese: 除四害; pinyin: Chú Sì Hài), was one of the first actions taken in the Great Leap Forward in China from 1958 to 1962. The four pests to be eliminated were rats, flies, mosquitoes, and sparrows. The extermination of sparrows is also known as the smash sparrows campaign (Chinese: 打麻雀运动; pinyin: dǎ máquè yùndòng) or eliminate sparrows campaign (Chinese: 消灭麻雀运动; pinyin: xiāomiè máquè yùndòng), which resulted in severe ecological imbalance, being one of the causes of the Great Chinese Famine. In 1960, the campaign against sparrows was ended and redirected to bed bugs.

TOADY Watch #1 – as Stew has noted the NHS are desperate for some work for GPs to do

A GP was on TOADY this a.m. having a whinge about the workload, a campaign in the media to ‘demonise’ doctors and probably a lack of resources, too, ie. more money from the taxpayer. There’s said to be a crisis coming down the line with GPs potentially leaving the profession, either due to age or pressure of work or ‘targets’ or a desire to become bricklayers or plumbers instead.

JustRemainIn Webb had travelled all the way to Bristol in order to talk to this lass and overnight or even have a few days off at his property in Bath. Unfortunately, Justin was not fully briefed (informed) as a journalist should be and could have shot back at the woman GP the fact that she was able to run a private business, choose how she worked, when she worked, and had a guaranteed supply of customers. Unlike many SMEs, she did not have to go out and find customers, clients or assignments.

Methinks the lady doth protest too much.

It’s not really about the BBC – but about the law – at the moment those under 18 can’t be named if charged with a crime .
So in the case of the double stabbing murders of 16 year old children in londonistan last week only one of the 3 charged with the murders can be named – the 18 year old with a (where do you come from ?) name .

Now I understand the reason for non naming is to ‘protect their futures ‘. … but that law comes from 1974- and Britain has changed since then ….
Anyone charged with killing deserves to be named ….

TOADY Watch #2 – a culchahral reminder if you need it

As part of the Saturday TOADY, the Editors have scheduled ‘a bi’ o’ culcha’ in Blairite Estuary English-speak, instead of doing some serious news gathering. This morning it was a writer, Simon Moss, (hope I got the name correct) talking about his favourite walk along the Somerset coast. It was a walk he was unable to do in the immediate aftermath of a stroke but when he had recovered sufficient energy he found it helpful in remembering things that the stroke had wiped from his brain.

Simon Moss is a bird watcher (tick) but also a firm believer that there is a Climate Emergency (untick and boo hiss). I wonder if he complained to the TOADY Editors about the unnecessary journeys undertaken by TOADY Presenters just this week to places where there are perfectly adequate or even experienced correspondents. The BBC like to preach to us that we should not travel, should not fly, should not drive, should not make unnecessary journeys but the BBC’s people do it all the time. BBC = a Climate Emergency all of their own.

TOADY Watch #3 – er, have you forgotten something?

I listened this morning from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.. On a Saturday ‘the look at the papers’ is usually done twice instead of three or four times but at 7.45 a.m. and 8.45 a.m.. In all the excitement of ‘Climate Emergency propaganda pushing’ the TOADY Presenters forgot to do the 8.45 a.m. one.

I wasted 20 minutes of ‘the-cost-of-living-crisis’ electricity waiting in vain for that.

The post office is introducing bar coded postage stamps . The ‘old ‘ ones can be used until the end of January 2023. You need to ‘trade in ‘ old stamps to get the bar code ones .

But you need to fill out a form – which is on the post office site but needs to be printed out and sent with the stamps to the post office .

I have no printer so you can apply to the post office on the internet to get a blank form – which I have done . What a fuss…

I have an aversion to post offices – but I went to one – they were queuing out the door – and there’s the threat of violence in the air …

Each stamp has a unique code. This means when a package is received they can track the exact route the package came from.

I always wondered why the poor sods in the post office had to type in the destination postcode of every one of the 200 large letters they would stamp and send off when if I stamped them myself then this was not required. The Post Office works in mysterious ways.
