So even the First Minister of Scotland has finally had to agree that there are problems coming down the line in the rush to promote the trans nonsense. Especially when it involves an obvious bloke raping women then deciding he was a woman upon getting caught so he could go to a womens prison.

It was also jarring to hear the lady BBC reporter constantly referring to this animal as “they” on the morning news when it is obvious to a fool that “he” was trying to escape standard retribution for his foul behaviour.

Grow up BBC and stop behaving like a deluded first year media studies student.

What a mickey mouse situation the do-gooders have accepted and promoted.

My Dad as a child, was told not to wipe his greasy fingers on the newly decorated wall. Guess what? He hadn’t thought of doing so until he was told that. And then he did exactly what he had been told not to do.
Put on a deodorant, ‘don’t inhale’, and young people will.

Theresa May has said the decision to destroy the landing cards of Windrush migrants was taken under Labour.

The prime minister told MPs she was not home secretary when the move was approved, saying it happened in 2009.

She apologised for the distress caused to anyone told they must leave the UK.

“Truths turn into dogmas the instant that they are disputed. Thus every man who utters a doubt defines a religion. And the scepticism of our time does not really destroy the beliefs, rather it creates them; gives them their limits and their plain and defiant shape. We who are Liberals once held Liberalism lightly as a truism. Now it has been disputed, and we hold it fiercely as a faith. We who believe in patriotism once thought patriotism to be reasonable, and thought little more about it. Now we know it to be unreasonable, and know it to be right. We who are Christians never knew the great philosophic common sense which inheres in that mystery until the anti-Christian writers pointed it out to us. The great march of mental destruction will go on. Everything will be denied. Everything will become a creed. It is a reasonable position to deny the stones in the street; it will be a religious dogma to assert them. It is a rational thesis that we are all in a dream; it will be a mystical sanity to say that we are all awake. Fires will be kindled to testify that two and two make four. Swords will be drawn to prove that leaves are green in summer. We shall be left defending, not only the incredible virtues and sanities of human life, but something more incredible still, this huge impossible universe which stares us in the face. We shall fight for visible prodigies as if they were invisible. We shall look on the impossible grass and the skies with a strange courage. We shall be of those who have seen and yet have believed.”

Car production is at its lowest since 1956 and it is all due to Brexit. (I blame the remoaner BBC and Whitehall for that.) The Montacutie before she goes off for a long weekend led some hand wringing with, I presume, a firm Remainer who was a co-founder of arm (a UK silicon wafer chip maker) since sold to nVidia I think. I think he was introduced by the Montacutie as Herman Hause. That is strange, because he is not listed as a co-founder of arm.

Unsurprisingly the BBC have started referring to Windrush immigrants as “Windrush Victims” today.

As I see it, some poorer people living in third world country were offered the opportunity of moving to the UK, presumably free of charge to start a new life and many did and became part of the UK’s population and workforce.

So in my view any who are unsatisfied are victims of the society they left, not the one they came to.

There is no end to this rush for free money if you claim victimhood especially if you are black is there?

I think thanks to the Country that gave them new opportunities would be more appropriate.

Up2snuff, It was August 1972 when Idi Amin gave the Ugandan Asians their marching orders. Many arrived in Britain over the next few months. I remember this because my mum (a Red Cross volunteer) helped out at the reception camps set up to look after them. I think they were arriving at our airports that autumn with little but the summer clothes they stood up in!

Mum was a conservative, uneasy about mass immigration, but a kindly soul who knew her duty.

I remember a while back a family were criminally prosecuted for far-right offences because they had a son called Adolf. That puzzled me as I don’t recall too many Adolf names being a trouble in the UK in *recent* years. In fact there is an ‘Adolf’ buried in the American cemetery in Madingley with this name and he has a star of David tombstone.

But the ‘M’ name on the other hand has seen quite a bit of trouble in the UK. Should this name be proscribed? Should parents be prosecuted for calling their child with this name?

Memphis police officers charged over death

Five former police officers have been charged with second-degree murder after Tyre Nichols, 29, died following a traffic stop in Memphis, Tennessee. He was stopped on 7 January for alleged reckless driving, and died three days after his arrest. Footage of the arrest is expected to be released on Friday at around 18:00 (22:00 GMT) and the city’s police chief has urged the public to stay calm once the clip is made available. The Nichols family and their legal team privately reviewed the video footage this week. “He was a human piñata,” lawyer Antonio Romanucci said of its contents. “It was an unadulterated, unabashed, non-stop beating of this young boy for three minutes.” The former officers, who were all fired last week, have been charged with second-degree murder, aggravated assault, aggravated kidnapping, official misconduct and official oppression. Here’s what we know so far.

Seems ‘they’ don’t know some key aspects.

This story has been bubbling away for a couple of weeks now, to the complete oblivion of the BBC. Although, realistically, the events of a police stop in another country are not of much interest to people elsewhere. Look for a series of follow-up articles along the lines of “Do black police officers adopt the racist ways of White police officers?”, “Was Tennessee’s history of racial segregation a factor?”, “Would an all-black police force be the long term solution to police violence?” etc.

    “who was George Floyd”

    This is significant:

“As years passed and acts of violence against unarmed Black men were captured on camera – sometimes involving police officers, like the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis – the movement became a revolution.

But now, some serious questions are now being raised about the group’s finances, especially after $90 million was brought in in 2020, with many local groups saying they haven’t seen a penny.

In a video produced in Minneapolis by the Capital Research Center, a conservative group that studies non-profits, local community members are speaking out about what they call a “shakedown” by BLM.

“Right now they have absolutely no impact in what’s going on in the decimation of our community,” said Rev. Jerry McAfee, a pastor at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church.

“They collected some $30 million off of the death of George Floyd, a Black man killed by police. And they’ve put not one dollar in our community,” he said in the video posted online.”

  28. Zephir says:

    And, further:

“The $6m BLM mansion: After the sickening George Floyd murder, $90m poured into Black Lives Matters coffers in just one year. Now, very awkward questions are being asked about how it’s been spent – including on this luxurious Californian home.

In a video they released on YouTube last year to mark the first anniversary of George Floyd’s death at the hands of a white police officer in Minneapolis, the trio — Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza and Melina Abdullah — toasted each other with champagne.

he New York Post that revealed how, since the BLM movement took off, she’d spent $3.2million (£2.5million) buying four homes, including three in LA and another in Atlanta, Georgia, with an aircraft hangar.

Alicia Garza — another co-founder of the BLM movement — had a message for their rich, white critics: ‘Y’all don’t know s**t about what it takes to live in a box here.’

A ‘box’? Well that’s one way to describe the house they were sitting in front of and which their organisation had just bought — a 6,500 sq ft, seven-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion in LA’s Studio City neighbourhood costing a cool $6million (£4.6million)

As well as a swimming pool, its palm tree-shaded grounds also boast a sound stage, music recording studio and two-bedroom guest house.

For an organisation dedicated to radical wealth distribution to help the disadvantaged, not to mention dismantling capitalism altogether, the deluxe property seems a curious choice. Which is surely why, according to an investigation by New York Magazine, the BLM leaders went to great pains to hide it.

Financial and legal experts, meanwhile, have expressed grave concerns that the mansion was purchased — and is being run — in such a way as to blur the boundaries between the Foundation, which is a charity, and private companies owned by some of its leaders.

Paul Cullors, Patrisse’s brother, is ‘head of security’ at the house, while her mother was approved for a cleaning job there. Patrisse has even used the mansion’s kitchen to film her own cookery programme. Charity experts say an official investigation may be justified to ensure donations are being spent properly.”

critics wondered if the BLM fan club had read the small print. In 2015, Cullors admitted that both she and Garza were ‘trained Marxists’. Echoing this, according to her publisher, Penguin Random House, Garza ‘describes herself as a queer social-justice activist and Marxist’.

Their organisation’s aims include ‘disrupting the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and ‘villages’ ‘.

What makes me laugh is how the BBC completely ignore what a violent sh1thole black rule has made South Africa.

It shows conclusively that the Left blaming white racism for the disproportionate crime and murder by black people is complete bullsh1t.

Just read the wikipeida page : it’s shocking.
      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_in_South_Africa

      Some quotes:
When compared to other countries South Africa has notably high rates of violent crime and has a reputation for consistently having one of the highest murder rates in the world.

The country relies on a criminal justice system that is mired in many issues, including inefficiency, corruption and internal polarisation.

South Africa is what we will become if BBC and the Leftist cretins get their way. Some cities in the USA are already there – but the BBC hypocrites don’t talk about them.

I see they have finally named the man responsible for trying to blow up innocent civilians.

No mention of his motivation, religion or anything at all so I assume we are all supposed to mentally link him with the recent lengthy front-page report on the BBC about how the Far-Right are the biggest risk for terrorism.

The name of this far-right terrorist is Mohammad Farooq.

        The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees wrote: “Migrants’ centers? Just concentration camps”. … The Italian Parliament this year established a “National Day to Remember Immigration Victims” by comparing it to the “International Day of Remembrance of the Holocaust Victims”. It is a powerful ideological ploy: in the “new Holocaust”, the flow of refugees to Europe seems unstoppable. The perpetrators of this duplicitous myth are playing dirty with the future of Europe. {gatestoneinstitute sep2017}

A man may take to drink because he feels himself to be a failure, and then fail all the more completely because he drinks. It is rather the same thing that is happening to the English language. It becomes ugly and inaccurate because our thoughts are foolish, but the slovenliness of our language makes it easier for us to have foolish thoughts. The point is that the process is reversible. Modern English, especially written English, is full of bad habits which spread by imitation and which can be avoided if one is willing to take the necessary trouble. If one gets rid of these habits one can think more clearly, and to think clearly is a necessary first step toward political regeneration: so that the fight against bad English is not frivolous and is not the exclusive concern of professional writers.

Hardline ultranationalists and reconciliation events edition

We note Britain doing its brave little bit to help throw back the invading hordes threatening to overrun Ukraine…

Wimbledon told to stop fans waving Russian flags (‘i’)

The trouble with a phoney war is that it has the potential to turn into a real war all of a sudden – as 1940 taught us.

And the trouble with a proxy war fought at arms-length – as tampering in Vietnam ought to have taught the Americans… well, we don’t need a precis to the plots of Apocalypse Now, Full Metal Jacket, Platoon, Born on the Fourth of July or The Deer Hunter to remind us how that went awry – not that the Vietnam conflict impacted the American psyche and culture at all – I jest of course.

Like the uber nerd Sheldon Cooper of The Big Bang Theory fame, our news media do enjoy ‘fun with flags’

The Russian red white and blue may be verboten at Centre Court in SW19 this year but the FT’s frontpage hot pic illustrates: A protester holds a Palestinian flag during clashes near the Israel-Gaza border yesterday.

Kumbaya Israel, says the corporate FT editorial which yesterday was almost embarrassingly keen to sell more weapons of war to Ukraine – whereas this morning referring to the recent anti-terrorist action: The raid is the first since Israel’s new hardline government took office last month, with ultranationalists in key security posts…

Well, they don’t want this Israel-Palestine conflict to turn hot just now – imagine the conflict for the likes of Jeremy Bowen, our left-leaning press, et al, attempting to square the circle of heartfelt calls for a ceasefire and a halt to the killing on the one hand… and empassioned pleas for more weaponry to be delivered so as to stir the pot on the other.

Speaking of hardline ultranationalists in key security posts (I jest of course): ‘A slap in the face’: anger at U-turn over Windrush… Suella Braverman confirmed she would not implement two key changes that would have increased independent scrutiny of government immigration policies and a third promise to run reconciliation events… (Guardian)

Reconciliation events…? Let’s see… this coming year we’ve booked in Black History Month, Gay Pride Month, International Women’s Day, Disability Awareness Day, etc, etc, etc… I’m not sure we have diary space for much more.

Hardline on immigration? I think not. Think Agatha Christie’s Ten’s (of thousands of) Little Indians coming to university towns near you: PM’s foreign student plan to shore up economy (Telegraph)

Because Rishi knows exactly how to run a business successfully and how to recruit and manage the very best workers (sarc) – just look at the lazy load of slackers he employs: Public sector decline to cost billions… productivity fell 1.3pc in the three months to September… blamed on weak management and working from home… This compares with 0.1pc increase in the output per hour across the economy. (Telegraph)

But surely new immigrants to the UK work like Trojans and are as bright as buttons: Police ‘illiterate in English’ recruited in diversity drive (Telegraph)

In political news I’m getting déjà vu all over again. The Tony Blair regime came to power in the UK in 1997 on the back of a concerted media campaign against Tory ministerial sleaze (tick) and with a veritable fanfare of super celebrity endorsement (still working on that one).

Hand over to Labour, Rod urges Tories (Telegraph)

‘Wake up, Maggie, I think I got somethin’ to say to you’

Sir Rod Stewart called a Sky News phone-in on the NHS yesterday… saying it was time to “change the bloody government and give the Labour party a go” (Times)

Women’s purchases may help spot cancer

Ovarian cancer can be a death sentence for some women because it is often diagnosed late. But new data, from a study into what female shoppers buy, could be used to improve early diagnosis. Doctors have found that frequent purchases of over-the-counter painkillers and indigestion tablets reveal a higher risk of ovarian cancer.

BBC headline….HMRC do not fine you if you’ve made an innocent mistake…thus Zahawi is not ‘innocent’.

Today kept up that narrative this morning…however in a separate story which followed minutes later we heard that….

Hundreds of thousands paying wrong tax fines

Nearly 400,000 self-employed people on low incomes are being penalised for filing their tax returns late when most of them don’t owe any tax.

Penalties can build up until people owe thousands of pounds, according to Tax Policy Associates.’

Everyone knows the HMRC will fine you if you’re late filing however accidental or innocent the cause….you can hear people on other stations making that point.

Funny how the BBC does not challenge the claim when it is so obviously untrue…as their other, totally separate, report illustrates.

The comments by Jim Harra, head of HMRC, were clearly political and not themselves ‘innocent’….he knew exactly what he was saying and how the likes of the BBC would interpret and use them to attack the government….the BBC of course delighted to oblige.
