Heaven for the Far Left BBC – a fired Conservative Chairman and minister . Inquiries into that ‘Tory’ minister and this ‘Tory ‘ minister . Spoilt for choice . And still no sign of the need for the BBC to br shown to be fair and neutral .

    World at one

The sainted Liverpool supporters – lessons from 1989 will be learned . There will be a ‘culture change ‘…. There will be a duty of candour …..
I mean – what crap people – a duty to self incriminate ? What planet ?
And culture change from 1989 ? Maybe amongst footy supporters . I’ve had some horrible experiences with Liverpool supporters which colours my view about sainthood – charging barriers to get in ….
Naturally the BBC is full on for ‘change ‘…. The reflex action . But hillsborough now ? Sad . So many dead . But 1989 …? Senior plod will always cover themselves and pass the blame downward – every organisation – except maybe aviation – will cover up ….. and shift blame … including the BBC

    Rant done

BTW – quote from Lady Brooke – “ on brexit – we ll be hearing a European perspective “ – look in the mirror – what’s new ?

    • BurnaTyreForGreta says:

It has been going on since before my neice started School , she has since moved house twice and has two children, that is quite long enough , we know there were some dreadful foul ups but no one deliberately set out to cause what happened ,even if the supporters on that day were totally innocent , there was still a whole culture of football Hooliganism below the surface , although it had passed its peak of the 70s it was still there.

    • Scroblene says:

Nobody ever seems to recall the Ibrox disaster, when the safety rails collapsed and everyone fell down the stairs, finishing up in a heap at the bottom!

I remember that horrible one at the same time as Hillsborough, as during the Liverpool game, we’d just moved house the day before, and the girls were sat watching the box to keep out of our bloody way…

Last years Oscars.. “Oh they are elitist , they never choose black actors from *fringe* films”

Today’s racebaiting from black director Chinoye Chukwu
‘Oh the Oscars are racist, they’ve chosen a white actress from a *fringe* film, not my black mates from big budget films’

    • MarkyMark says:

Have grey squirrels replaced “the native red”?
It is true that grey squirrels are not native to this country (in the sense in which it is appropriate to talk of “native” on territory that was scraped clean by ice 10 000 years ago). They were introduced from American in the 19th century, at a time when it was fashionable to move animals between continents. Now there are between 2 and 3 million greys and between 150 and 200 thousand reds, which represents a substantial difference. So, on the face of it, it seems to be an open and shut case: the greys replaced the reds.

The reality, however, is not as straightforward as that. To properly unravel the accusation, we have to consider the actual history of red squirrels in Great Britain.

Everyone to live 15 minutes from a foodbank or warmbank…lol.

      • MarkyMark says:

        15 minutes from a Mosque?

The first mosque to be built in the Western Isles is proving to be a huge hit with tourists. The Stornoway temple opened its doors in May to provide a place of worship for the area’s 80-strong Muslim community.30 Sept 2018

  4. StewGreen says:

They’ve named the dead dog walker as “Natasha Johnston” but media show zero photos
Until now they had taken the unusual step of suppressing her name
stoll the media show no photos.
They say she was new to the job and with 8 dogs was breaking the byelaw that says the max is 4 or 6

  5. StewGreen says:

Times TMS says that BBC lost Ken Bruce, cos although they were prepared to offer him more money and terms, they didn’t send the paperwork in time.
“according to reports” ..that is no proof of course.

    • Johnda says:

That’s a bit like saying the cheques in the post or the dog ate my homework

      • Scroblene says:

They’ll make up any old tosh story to cover their arses; this rates a 2 out of 10, Savile 12 out of 10, Rolf 3 out of 10 etc etc…

Luckily hardly anyone ever believes them these days!

  6. pugnazious says:

During WW2 the British troops hated the BBC….it all too often gave away information about their battleplans allowing the Germans to counter them.

The same during the Iraq War….when the Americans were preparing to attack Fallujah the BBC was busily reporting on our troop movements and locations that would support the Americans….this was during a politically sensitive time back home….a big strike on British troops would have no doubt swayed the election against Tony Blair…then the BBC’s chief hate figure….is it too cynical to suggest the BBC were trying to encourage the Iraqis to attack British troops in order to damage Blair?

This morning I heard a BBC correspondent in Ukraine telling us that the Ukrainians wanted to keep their intentions concerning a new offensive secret for obvious reasons….he then went on to tell us how Ukraine was withdrawing its best troops from one location and thus we could infer that they were preparing a new offensive soon.

So…one, the Russians now know that location has lost its best troops and is weaker, and two, that troops are massing elsewhere for a new offensive soon.

    Cheers BBC.

UK expected to be only major economy to shrink in 2023 – IMF

What impact has Brexit had on the UK economy?

Best give the losers somewhere to vent off – when will the likes of the bBC united?

I remember the bBC saying we would run out of sandwiches if we voted for Brexit. Still waiting

I wonder if the EU sponsorship dried up when we voted out and the beeb needs the money to continue its propaganda

  8. StewGreen says:

Dominique Day was part of a UN team that said the UK is such a racist place
and that stop & search needs to be banned.
The government called the report superficial.

His new response “Ah using the word ‘superficial’ is a racist trope used to mean lazy.

The government replied a report that tries to group people using the term “people of African descent” is itself using a racial trope
that denies the diversity within non-white or black people.

  9. StewGreen says:

The Times has a letter saying dowsing works

Well the “Starmer ” club who’s sole member does not know what a woman is, has now been joined by an unlikely 2nd member…N. Sturgeon (aka wee Krankie,Das Boot etc)

    A delightful couple .

9pm BBC2 actress Emily Atack presents a documentary about how “men” send some women dick pictures.

#1 Isn’t ot a repeat, a similar prog was on before
#2 It’s the internet, you can’t just assume the real person is the person in the profile
A man’s account might well turn out to be an account a 13 year old girl uses for trolling.

Or more often 20 male accounts turn out to be the same man

  15. pugnazious says:

    LOL….the Telegraph reports….

‘Vladimir Putin might never have invaded Ukraine if Britain had not voted for Brexit, Guy Verhofstadt has said.’

Apparently the disunity and rancour distracted us all and allowed Putin to slip iinto Ukraine….5 years after Brexit…and never mind Crimea in 2014.

And you have to ask who was one of the main instigators of rancour, division and disunity as he worked so hard to smash Brexit instead of working to provide a smooth exit? Oh yeah…that’d be one Guy Verhofstadt…..given plenty of airtime to spout his disruptive rubbish by the BBC of course during negotiations.

Thus the invasion of Ukraine is completely Verhofstadt’s fault…blood on his hands.

The BBC doesn’t seem to have caught up with this new angle on Brexit….pretty sure it will be a question slipped into the Today stream of nonsense about Brexit tomorrow.

    • MarkyMark says:

Has the media ever mentioned …. Guy Verhofstadt’s book ….. For Europe …..

Europe is in crisis. How did we get here? What didn’t work? Faced with such an emergency, are the euro zone states not creating an undemocratic monster? Is euroscepticism not reactionary? Could a federation of 27 actually work? This book is a call. A wake up call directed to every citizen. It is an exercise in lucidity that encourages reflection. And it is also an alarm bell. The tone is frank, passionate. The arguments hard hitting: “Europe must once and for all get rid of the navel gazing of its nation-states. A radical revolution is needed. A large European revolution. And a European federal Union must emerge. A Union that enables Europe to participate in the postnational world of tomorrow. By laziness, cowardice and lack of vision, too many of our Heads of State and Government prefer not to see what is at stake. Let’s wake them up. Let’s confront them with their impotence. And give them no respite until they have taken the European way, the way to a Europe of the future, towards a Europe for Europeans. The era of empty summits and statements is over. Now is the time for action.”

    • Fedup2 says:

Pug – no sniggering – it’s a fact . Russia fears the might of the British military – and even if it had stayed with Within the peace loving socialist democracy of EuroReich …. Of course the ex kgb colonel now in charge of the USSR would have held back from his onslaught on Ukraine – and crimea of course …lol

    • Rob in Cheshire says:

Someone should tell Verhoftwat that if the EU had not been so busy trying to get Ukraine to join, there would have been no Russian invasion in 2014. He can’t handle the truth.

  16. pugnazious says:

    Guido suggests, rightly, that…

‘Naturally the projections from the IMF are being treated as if God personally inscribed them on a stone tablet and handed them down from on high. ‘

And on cue here’s the BBC’s Faisal Islam defending his and the BBC’s coverage of the IMF’s predictions…..he must realise most people are sceptical of the claims as Britain is classed a basket case way, way below Nigeria, Kazakstan and even Russia, and thus has rushed to hype the IMF….

‘How much should we care what the IMF thinks?’

Apparently quite a lot….the BBC of course making it headline news….despite the IMF’s very dodgy track record when forecasting growth.

    • MarkyMark says:

Christine Lagarde: IMF chief convicted over payout
      20 December 2016

As French finance minister in 2008, she approved an award of €404m ($429m; £340m) to businessman Bernard Tapie for the disputed sale of a firm.

Ms Lagarde, who always denied wrongdoing, was not present in court, having left Paris for Washington DC.

The IMF board said it retained “full confidence” in her leadership.

BBC won’t remove naked boy statue created by paedophile sculptor targeted by protester

    • Jeff says:

I don’t go along with removing statues as a rule, but if there’s one that should be destroyed, then that’s it.

The sculptor, Eric Gill, was so sick he gave other paedo’s a bad name.

Not content with merely raping his two daughters, he also raped the family dog…I mean, just how sick can a man be?

Actually, thinking about it, keep the statue where it is.

It says, far more than mere words, just what the BBC stand for…

Just imagine if this was a Trump…….or how it may have affected the election if it was not suppressed..

“‘Set phone up so I can spy on you showering.’ Hunter Biden threatened to withhold cash-strapped assistant’s pay if she didn’t FaceTime him naked, texts show – as it’s revealed she’s the FOURTH employee with whom he had a sexual relationship

Texts obtained by show First Son asked assistant for video sex.
‘The rule has to be no talk of anything but sex and we must be naked,’ he wrote. Biden filmed their sex sessions and saved the images on his laptop hard drive.”

Matt Hancock’s car crash interview admitting to breaking the guidelines but not the law. Many knew at the time that the regulations had no legal basis, but the government relied on fear of a health crisis and fear of police action to subjugate the country.

Just as informed consent is required when offering a medical treatments… generate enough anxiety and dread so people won’t notice they weren’t informed about risks and benefits but were forced into consenting.

It’s quite amazing what Brexit is reponsible for.

It’s even crashed all the economies across the world and caused a war in Ukraine.

Sorry, the last bit was a mistake. That was Biden demonstrating that Afghanistan was not a fluke.

The Ministry of Truth is real, led by the BBC & helped cause 20m Excess Deaths due to C-19 Vaccination:

    • JohnC says:

      The article mentions:

‘The BBC’s Trusted News Initiative is a powerful partnership that includes organizations such as AP, AFP, First Draft, Google/YouTube, Twitter, Reuters, Financial Times, Meta (Facebook) European Broadcasting Union, CBC/Radio-Canada, The Hindu, Microsoft, and The Washington Post.’

… which absolutely explains my earlier observations about how certain agenda-based stories seem to appear simultaneously across many different sites and swamp the news-feeds.

      ‘Ministry of Truth’ indeed.

I always get Emily Atack mixed up with Emily Head. Both blonde, both known mainly for The Inbetweeners, both from showbiz families.
Atack is the daughter of Kate Robbins, niece of Ted and a relative of Paul McCartney.
(Head is the daughter of the bloke from the old Gold Blend adverts.)

Look North Tuesday 6.30 and an item about the teachers’ strikes tomorrow. At the end of the item Peter Levy read out an email from a schoolchild saying how they fully supported the teachers, not just in support of their pay but also as it supports the children’s future. I just wonder how the BBC staff knew it was actually from a pupil and not their parent, or even a union rep purporting to be a child. Maybe they have Unit 77 (or whatever they call them). But of course if it fits the Left and the BBC’s agenda.

  26. StewGreen says:

Hey boys and girls, I just wonder, will anyone be watching a revolutionary Storyville later tonight at 22.00, about “Casa Susanna”?

Maybe I’ve been living under a rock the last few years, but it’s about a group of cross-dressers, living in a house together in 50s / 60s America. God, I simply haven’t heard about this topic before!
