Not watching the BBC sometimes leaves me blissfully unaware. The Daily Mail is stating after the havoc caused by storm Otto, there is now temperatures of minus 7 expected. Was there havoc? Here we had just enough wind to blow a few leaves out the garden and about 5 minutes of rain.
I am still worrying more about Grant Shapps and net zero. Could the BBC find out what qualifications Bill Gates holds in climatology that provides his expertise in advising the U.K. government on net zero. However the BBC’s agenda stops them even asking if the tweet was real.
OK our wind here isn’t storm force
The weather app says 15mph but staying in that l=range until it gets to 19mph tomorrow lunchtime
Even by 4pm it’s still 16mph
The council have a rule that the market must close if the wind is 20mph
Tuesday the peak is 10mph
I checked the radar and the stormfront during the night seems to be on the top Northwest part of Scotland
it could descend bit , maybe go through Edinburgh
We have had strong winds in the West Midlands but very little rain. Basically we’ve had weather but the alarmists will claim Global Warming if it gets naturally cold.
Over at TCW Defending Freedom Kathy Gyngell is urging everyone to give up their TV Licences as a protest about OFCOM and its censoring of Mark Steyn. I agree with that and I would add that to write to your MP and the D-G, Tim Davie, with a complaint about his recent LF scoff, noticed by more than one newspaper, but also about restoring ‘catch up’ iPlayer rights.
BBC WEB-SITE Watch #1 – it must be very upsetting for the LeftyLibMob
Both at the BBC and elsewhere. Nicola Sturgeon resigning and all within a month of Jacinda Ardern stepping down, too. Phew! It has been so traumatic for Laura Kuenssberg that she has forgotten to put her blouse or shirt on: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-64680838
Guy Martin is doing his prog on Solar/Wind
Of course you expect the prog to be full of propaganda from the firms
So the prog is not emphasising how much fossil fuel the industries actual news
but guy has just done his HELICOPTER safety training
and is at the airport with the 3 helicopters that make multiple flights each day to the wind farms
It takes them 20 mins to get there !
never mind the time they spend working from the helicopters (not that much cos usually they work off the boat)
It took guy 3 hours to get from the airport to the site to the turbine to the top of the turbine.
The site has 165 turbines
The turbines emiot a massive amount of heat so there are huge radiators
Doh they are WARMING the Globe !

A guy called out Hull Labour MP
for the way he saw a BS tweet that seemed to make UK look bad
and automatically retweeted it
Jesus Christ Karl these numbers are so obviously fake.
You’re an MP ffs
but Turner did two extra things
#1 He blocked replies that means that people can’t directly correct his thread
#2 He left up his retweet of BS tweet instead of correcting it or deleting it
Because @RishiSunak is incompetent? Because he’s a Tory? Because he’s FRIT of taking on the predatory private profiteers? Because he’s weak? Because he puts the wealthiest before the ordinary hard pressed, hard working public? 🤷🏼♂️ https://t.co/FCqDOBrOb4
Now whereas BBC climate activist reporters send out dozens of tweets often barely getting 20 Likes
the journo who tweeted the BS stats got 18,000 Likes
and an army of lefty human-twitter-bots endorsing him in the replies
That’s all for FAKENEWS !
Lefties love it

MP promises to repay the part of £5,822.27 expenses claim for second home energy bills that relates to electricity for stables
“When Theresa May quit as Prime Minister back in 2019 there was a swift and predictable response from Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.
After paying tribute to May’s service to the country, she twisted the knife saying: ‘Given current circumstances, it also feels deeply wrong for another Tory to be installed in No 10 without a General Election.’
When May’s successor fell last summer, Sturgeon’s ‘tribute’ described Boris Johnson as a ‘disgrace to the office’, but still she couldn’t resist rattling the tin for another election: ‘One Prime Minister that we did not vote for replaced by yet another Prime Minister that we did not vote for and would not vote for given the chance.
‘For Scotland, the Westminster system doesn’t represent our best interests and that is why we don’t just need a change of Prime Minister . . . Scotland needs a permanent alternative to Westminster.’
By the time Liz Truss quit after 49 days in office, Sturgeon had got into her stride. ‘The interests of the Tory Party should concern no one right now. A General Election is now a democratic imperative.’
So what about a new Scottish Parliament election, now that the First Minister will be packing her bags next month, two years into the SNP’s fourth term? Not a word about it in Sturgeon’s tearful press conference last week.”
Today
Oh joy . Our Justin has a wonderful chat with lord Henry dimbleby . You may recall that Henry is a ‘go to ‘foodie for the bbc .
Sir Henry has volunteered to use the huge wealth of the dimbleby clan to fund universal food for primary school kiddies in all London schools .
Isn’t that scumptious?
Actually dimbleby isn’t paying – Londoners are – whether they like it or not . And I don’t like it .
Dimbleby is one of that breed of posh types infesting the public domain – Andrew plebgate Mitchell is the leader . They are wealthy and well connected and love spending poorer peoples’ money on their hobbies . And of course they are loved by the BBC .
The future ? Free everything for everyone ….except the bbc licence of course ..
Made a mistake . I didn’t watch the BAFTAS … judging by the reviews it was a mess both in content and presentation – with the BBC cutting keys bits ….. even the ‘today ‘ reviewer couldn’t avoid it .
Must have been a bit sour for a war film to win it – but I suppose the Germans were played by coloured girls in the Great War …
As I write that loopy Mary beard is blabbing on about ‘free speech ‘ – approved speech of course ….another BBC favourite ….
The bias in selection of people on the radio is so obvious as to be embarrassing for anyone claiming the BBC is of the ‘right’…
Following that came moaning sadiqui with a bit of pro Islam propaganda …. Oh bbc
There is turmoil at the diversity department at the BBC.
” BIG BROTHER” wants to know why the BBC were covering the BAFTAS.
if there was no “quotas” on who won. There hasn’t been such
an outcry at the BBC since the Brexit result. And the 100%
white girls won the Euro football. AND the BBC could not even
show adverts which would of made up for the lack of “inclusiveness” or what the BBC like to call “positive discrimination”
Never mind BBC . One could of watched Sky’s Tottenham-West
Ham game . ” And the award for the best banner to be shown over the screen at least 100 times ” Say no to racism” wins !!!”
I’ve been banned again from commenting or even ‘liking’ the comments of others on the Daily Telegraph. No idea why this ban has been imposed nor how long it will last. This is the second such ban inside a month. I might see if I can find out why the censors have imposed it and why they have banned me from even liking comments let alone posting them.
Slowly the noose is tightening around the neck of free speech . We see Ofcom shutting down Mark Steyn at GBN , no doubt threatening GBN owners with fines and loss of license to broadcast if he continued . Personally I had been expecting him to be removed from GBN for months and was very grateful to him for his fearless exposure of the vaccine scandal and police complicity in the Muslim rape gang scandal and much else of course.
Neil Oliver will be on Ofcom radar but his monologues , although highly critical of the ruling elite , are not as specific as Steyn’s were . Individual named members of the elite don’t have their crimes and misdemeanours shoved as far up them as Steyn regularly did. But Oliver does tread a fine line and often could be interpreted as urging outright rejection of entire corrupt political system which now masquerades as democracy. Something with which I increasingly agree. The piece on his show regarding the Ukrainian war was certainly a challenge to the elite narrative .
If he starts naming names he will suffer the same fate as Steyn. If so then GBN must ask if it is worth continuing, what is its Unique Selling Point? We have plenty of purveyors of the elite globalist party line . Most well to the left a few a bit closer to the centre but all of them inside the Globalist tent eg Portillo . What GBN gave us for a while was a challenge to one world globalism that was universally broadcast in the UK. It was bold, refreshing and sorely needed. We all wondered how long it would be before Ofcom started to reel it in on behalf of the elite. We have our answer .
Double – I disagree that the noose of free speech is slowly tightening . It’s fast – the next attack is the online censorship bill – which exploits the suicide of a teenager to increase regulation OFCOM style and worse .
The Neil Oliver stuff is nothing – just a sermon from a pulpit .
I think the purpose of GBNews is to build an acceptable brand so that the owners can make a profit when Murdock buys it .
The pretence that it is ‘different ‘ has now been exposed as a lie -with all those now ‘moving on ‘ from mark steyn damned for their loss of integrity – including Farage …. Who should have been the first one to walk away ….
Fifty years ago it was a proud boast that we in our country could say whatever we pleased . We had no need of a constitutional right to free speech , our right was enshrined in common law. Since then our right has been continuously chipped away at. Hence slow strangulation. I agree the on line harm bill will result in curtailment of what little freedom that we have left.
I disagree about the original aims of GBN. I do think that it aimed to deliver news from a different perspective and it delivered on that aim . Steyn was the hardened tip most of the rest were padding to try to keep Ofcom happy. It hasn’t worked , the elite are very sensitive to having their narrative challenged and now GBN is losing its original USP.
Murdoch may well be interested in buying it but I don’t think that was why GBN was set up in the first place.
Em Steyn was not a GBnews original
Before he came they had already sacked Dominic Frisby
for a joking “effing Jews” (As if invoking a Jews control everything conspiracy, Frisby is Jewish himself)
and sacked Abby Roberts ( for anti-vaccine statements)
The discussions on TalkTV and GBnews are both often topics other media omit
But their actual on the hour news has been rubbish from the start
the same narrow conformist stuff the other networks do.
I haven’t had a comment accepted on the Times since I reluctantly accepted that I needed to post under my real name, not the clever pseudonym which I used there, which is not the same as my moniker here. I’m very polite and totally non-controversial there, unlike here.

“When Vladimir Putin sent up to 200,000 soldiers into Ukraine on 24 February 2022, he wrongly assumed he could sweep into the capital, Kyiv, in a matter of days and depose the government”
He wrongly assumed – did he? or just got the bBCs word for that
I wonder what the truth actually is as to what is going on in Ukraine, because we know the bBC isn’t going to tell us
The police have made proper fools of themselves over the media cause celeb case of Nicola Bulley.
Walkers spot woman in river… mile from where she vanished (Mirror)
The media too have been wrong – targeting a couple of mystery chaps who happened to be nearby and finding a random glove near the riverside scene of the poor woman’s disappearance – but that mud won’t stick.
We’re told rubberneckers and armchair sleuths turned up (would an armchair sleuth bother to leave home – that’s surely a contradiction in terms? I think what the media was upset about was people talking out of turn on social media). Now the media could blame the public for the very fascination with the case that they – the media – had stoked and provoked.
The trouble with the police is that rather than function strictly by the book they chase public opinion and they think they can do this nowadays by bending over backwards to the fashionably politically correct.
In this case of a respectable middle class white woman’s disappearance they mistakenly impersonated – as they tend to do – many of comedy state of the nation TV sketch show Little Britain’s chav character, Vicky Pollard’s catchphrases: “…cos what ‘appened was, was… this whole thing happened what I don’t even know nuffin’ about… Oh my god, you’re so racist! (misogynist?) I SO can’t believe you just said that!! Yeah, but, no, but, yeah, but, no, but…”
If a middle aged bloke goes missing, firstly, it doesn’t garner much national interest. Secondly, if the police explain he had been a bit of a boozer and had health issues – there would be scant issue with that statement. What a patriachy we live in!
The bluest of blue Tories likewise buys into this malarkey: Suella: Police MUST treat violence aganist women as ‘national threat’ (Daily Express) faint echoes there of Boris Johnson’s bizarre outburst that Putin wouldn’t have invaded Ukraine if he hadn’t been such a misogynist – women, by the way, tend to be the swing voters – get it now?
Now this would be highlighted (headlined) as downright creepy were a chap to do it: Flirty Kate enjoys touching moment with her prince (Express) – you’ll have to check the photos – and see pages 2 & 3
Kate’s opera gloves steal BAFTAs show (Daily Mail) – love the opera gloves… Mr AsI hereby launches a campaign for us opera glove lovers to have the initials OG added to the LGBTIQA+ amalgam – it’s only right we get a fair crack of the whip – so to speak. Too much information?
There’s another institution that’s a fool to itself – ruining its former fine reputation by getting down and dirty dabbling in trendy politics…
BBC news concerns… Staff on the new BBC news channel… fear it will be short-lived and “crash and burn like Liz Truss” (Times) – oh dear me, there they were attempting to appear the balanced and unbiased news purveyors… and what did they do? They blew the gaff. They just couldn’t help themselves making that anti-Tory gag.
Anyone for a cup of the old chai?
As one might offer one’s droog in Nadsat – the Russian-influenced youth argot used by the teenage gang members in Anthony Burgess’s dystopian novel A Clockwork Orange.
If you do still enjoy a nice cuppa this one’s real horrorshow: Price of a cuppa: Sexual abuse on Kenyan tea farms revealed (BBC)
Proving perhaps what we might have guessed – these days, nothing is sacred.
Has anyone been to Kenya ?
i wouldn’t say every woman seems like a prostitute
but it seems not far off
The values there are quite different to the UK
That is often bad for women
but BBC find a way to make their sexual culture all the fault of whitey tea drinkers in Britain.
“Some of the women carried mixed-race children to a demonstration in Nairobi as “evidence” of the alleged rapes. But officials said they suspected that some were prostitutes who conceived the children after soldiers paid to have sex with them.
The RMP concluded that dozens of complaints of rape recorded in Kenyan police files were forged. Among the discrepancies were accusations against army units that were not in Kenya at the time.”
Our Justin has a nice chat with the emir of londonistan about taxpayers paid free school meals for all primary school kiddies in Londonistan …. On and on .. no question of cost ,,. No challenge … no contrary view ….
And even worse no question about the coming ULEZ SCHEME which will seriously harm millions of car owners in the 32 boroughs in 6 months time – £12.50 a day to a ‘normal ‘ vehicle …..
No debate on this – yet millions will be adversely affected .
I live in Barnet the largest populated borough in London,. With well over a population 400,000. For the first time the borough voted Labour at the last council election. This has come about
because of demographics and the birth rates of sections of our
“multicultural ” community. These voters will vote for their Emir. And its as sure as night follows day that this trend will finish up going on all over the country.
The result is that Barnet is the only outer London borough in agreement with Sadiq Khan the emir of Londonistan over the ”
Ulez extortion racket.
Scotland had Nicola Sturgeon .And we in London have this
male version . There are thousands upon thousands of hard working folk in the borough who are just not going to be able to afford this £12.50 for using their cars locally. I believe that
you will see in the outer London boroughs something like civil
disobedience that what we have seen up to now , look like childs play !
l
Foscari
I really hope there is widespread refusal to pay – and I wonder how much avoidance there already is for the existing scheme .
They know apathy will lead the way . Sunak won’t do anything because there are no votes in it for him – that will change red to blue . Londonistan is lost and he is speeding up the process . The remaining white flight is taking place rapidly – and even the woke whites in places like Hackney – Islington to have to move out – if only to save their kids ….
I read that in Sweden the woke white lefties flee the cities because , as you describe, they fear for the safety of their children. But that the silly sods still vote ‘liberal woke’ from their safe white havens far away from the aliens they voted to let in in the past. The same extraordinary phenomenon occurs when liberals flee the hell hole of liberal California for safer states. They flee what their politics has created but they don’t ditch their politics!
It seems beyond dispute that liberals are terminally dumb.
I don’t understand Barnet, and Finchley in particular. Houses in the leafy streets are not far short of £1 million. Yes the shops in the High Road are full of newly arrived and Afro Caribbean women pushing really cheap buggies with a child and often another couple in tow. I simply don’t understand how these people afford their rents or a month’s rent as a deposit. These are the families who will take advantage of free school meals. I guess they cannot afford a car, so don’t care about ULEZ.
@Tomo Chill out
I guess you participated in some threads where Just Stop Oil had tweeted
The algorithm simply suggests you follow other people in the thread
hence they suggest JSO to you
I thought that too but they must pick those suggestions off the IP address or similar identifier as one account in particular has a very different profile imho.
The Meteorological Office is completely signed up now to “CO2 causes Global Warming and Climate Change” so they keep telling me that is mild and I expect that. This household’s gas use for heating is less than last week but is still at winter levels. Therefore it is not that mild. I think of past Februarys long ago (before AGW was invented) with some fondness and nostalgia when temperatures were really a spring-like 15 or 16°C, and sunny with it.
However, Sarah Keith-Lucas presents todays forecast where she deals vaguely (imprecisely!) with the half of the UK where the overwhelming bulk of the UK’s population live in 10 seconds but then spends the rest of the forecast’s three minutes of air time on mostly Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Quite useless for 60 million people but possibly quite useful for 10 million people.
I see Kenyan sexual abuse warrants a bbc investigation
Meanwhile the undoubtedly biggest sexual abuse scandal in British history involving the industrial scale rape of underage british white schoolchildren in every city in the uk by muslim men ……
What does it mean? Well, we're not too sure at the moment.

Dover MP Natalie Elphicke told the Commons that the BBC’s “shocking report” contained the “breath-taking” disclosure of free French public bus services being used to ferry migrants from camps to Dunkirk beaches.
Today the BBC journalists Michael Keohan and Colin Campbell released a shocking report on the channel crossings. It showed people smugglers selling their wares brazenly in the migrant camps and many children living in unsafe and dangerous conditions, as well as—this is breathtaking—a free French public bus service that migrants can use to travel directly from the camps to the Dunkirk departure beaches. Will my right hon. Friend allow a statement on the issue of tackling the small boat crossings and the Government’s response in their work with France?
“ Dover MP Natalie Elphicke told the Commons that the BBC’s “shocking report” contained the “breath-taking” disclosure of free French public bus services being used to ferry migrants from camps to Dunkirk beaches.”
Lord Nige had this on GBNews, the only watchable news programme, about 10 days ago!
Funny that isn’t it – and shows a certain colonialism within the dna of the bbc – why has nt Kenyan plod – government taken this on …. ?
Maybe Kenyans who pay the tv tax licence will say …

Monday morning, the BBC local radio station has put out to 2 promo tweets about the item it had on promoting Green innovation Festival from the Green PR dept of Hull University
“The Festival of Green innovation is March 1st @_aurainnovation”
The 10am presenter decides to open by excited talk of the Hull wind turbine factory advertising for 300 new workers
Siemens Gamesa is made up of the German corp buying the assets of the bankrupt Spanish wind industry maker.
More wind turbine jobs in Hull, means more wind turbines, which means more costs on the grid compared to gas, means more costly electricity.
Only the blades are made in Britain, the towers and everything else are imported.
Local BBC news have put up an article about a film about historic poverty.
Now is that news ?
no it’s PR for a York University film
Why today ?
You have to wade to the bottom of the article
“Originally intended as a resource for students,
the film has been made available online to mark World Day of Social Justice on 20 February.”
In the Daily Express I’ve just read that the police are saying it may take days to identify the body found in the river a mile downstream from where Nicola Bulley disappeared.
Is it really so difficult to identify a body where they have the name, lots of people who can confirm the identity and what must be a load of forensics such as dna, clothes and a complete body.
They must be able to say how long the body has been in the water and unless bodies are being dumped there regularly surely this one must be easy to identify.
If it’s been in for ages and is a skeleton then the family should be told immediately instead of keeping them from knowing.
Similarly, if it’s a child or a man, they should be told.
I just can’t see how it’s taking so long.
Maybe they’ve already told the family but if so I would expect that to have become public knowledge quite quickly.
No matter what, the police have been quite hopeless in this case. Good job a member of the public spotted the body (that’s what has been said) and the police response was that there was debris there which is why they missed it.
You would think debris would be more likely to snag the body than a clear smooth river bed and that they would concentrate on such places.
SILENT WITNESS watch:
After nearly 4 weeks binge watching I am now on the current series 26. Conclusion : all the police SIOs are bombastic, bullies, and downright ignorant. Strangely none of the pathology team at any time told them to f….. off. Nikki Alexander needed a good slap several series ago. Jack is almost unrecognisable with the weight he has put on, Nikki has aged and looks gaunt. The influx of diverse characters since Clarissa left made for disjointed viewing. The black eco pathologist Simone was the worst actress ever, over-acted in every scene, so was glad she was given the boot. Now we have a young Jewish lad who struggles with his religion, and a know-all data professor who was asked by Nikki to be her boss – WTF ???? and that’s before I get to the disney style story lines.
Since Vanessa Beeley lives in Syria
where most people keep their head down
but she drives a bright pink VW with the giant Assad banner on the back screen
she does seem like an Assad agent
(could always be a double agent)
Nothing on the BBC about the massive peace protests in the USA at the weekend called rage against the war machine attended by many prominent peace loving people the BBC don’t like, and seemingly a complete abscence of the usual Left Wing trouble makers who are normally permapresent at these kind of demos.
Clearly to them peace is only acceptable if they are the ones with the jackboots stamping on that human face forever.
I don’t think it will become nuclear, all in. The EMP will do the trick. Certainly for the UK. In 2012 the House of Commons Defence Select Committee found our readiness for such an event (whether natural or nuclear):
“The reactive posture described by the MoD appears somewhat complacent. Prior wargaming and planning is required to assess the likely involvement of MoD resources in dealing with the consequences of EMP events. (Paragraph 82)”. (HC 1552).

Agree – no need for flash bangs – just frying the puters will close the UK . Sometimes I look for parallels between 1913 – 1938 – and now ….
If Ukraine does spread – if putin does a spectacular for his spring offensive how does that really roll out ? Assuming putin doesn’t cause the population of European enemy countries to fight like rats in a barrel ….
But tinned food …and bottled water …
Biden is a wholly corrupt, poisonous old git barely aware of much at all.
Anything that comes out of his mouth seems to have been learned by rote these days. Watching him in the Democratic POTUS candidate telly debates was enough for me – I came away detesting the swine.
Re: the Bulley case, it was sounding last week more and more like the main threat according to the MSM is online speculation, with missing persons being a secondary issue.
Fact-chucker Marianna’s article used the word ‘frenzy’ three times to describe unregulated commentary by the great unwashed. (A frenzy being by some order of magnitude more serious than e.g. a mostly peaceful riot.)
We can see where this is going. When the government clamp down on social media and independent journalists, people will believe the real dangers to ‘community safety’ are being tackled.
“Selena Gomez has been praised for explaining how her body changes when she takes medication to treat lupus… [she] has previously been open about her diagnosis with the condition – but she’s recently been subject to nasty comments about her appearance.”
BBC love the bravery of women being open about their experiences of fat shaming. Body changes from forced injections of experimental biotech on a scale never seen before? Forget it, they’re not newsworthy.
I watched the interview with Peter Faulkner – the underwater ‘expert’ who came in to “assist” the police.
One sentence made me look up. He said “my remit wasn’t to search the reeds” (where the body was found about a mile from the bench).
Hang on, er, doesn’t searching a river mean above and below ? And hasn’t anyone else noticed that this is the time of year when there are no leaves or fresh vegetation growth about to give cover to a body, – all the undergrowth is either dead or dying, and even a cursory look in the riverside reeds and banking would have brought forth a result.
Does he say he searched that actual stretch next to the road where the body was found?
Looks more like a few bushes and dead grass, than reeds.
River is only approx 30 feet wide maximum there.
Myrie was absolutely gushing over the visit on the 1pm news. ‘We’re in the middle of a war zone the border is only about 30km that way and we have a president on the ground this is a huge moment’ I turned off at that point and grabbed the nearest sick bag!
Now they are banging on about lack of buses .some people only get a bus every 2 hours . That’s a luxury.
That’s another control plan gone out th e window
BBC More Or Less used to be truth seeking
but then BBC realised they could do weaponised factchecks against the Tories
This created a bit of a cult following on Twitter.
So in the last episode someone asked them to look at OECD figures that show UK nurses only are about average for the EU but ~20% less than in richer countries such as Ireland, Netherlands, Germany
The thing is the OECD first did some PPP adjustment Purchasing Power Parity (PPP)
ie they factor in the different buying power
So a nurse in Turkey might earn less , but the property costs way less ..so for stats you upgrade their salary
Interesting I’ve never seen this done for other jobs like MPs salaries .. I expect an adjusted measure would show the foreign MPs are paid more
So UK nurses first seem second in Europe €42,588 vs €46,829 in Germany
but then they adjust that down to Germ. €44.1K .. UK. €34.5K
However a couple of people on Twitter pointed out an unfairness; NHS pensions are very generous with the employers contribution being 20.6%
whereas in Europe & in the private sector it’s 5%
Bottomline If you are going to compare raw salaries that’s one thing
But if you are going to do adjustments then you have to factor in full costs and full benefits
So your annual benefit each year is your salary plus employer pension contributions
Your costs might be your annual nurse registration, which might be nothing cos it’s tax deductible
Then you should factor a British nurse retiring at 67 and a Turkish at 54 etc.
I can understand the need for employers to take care with diversity issues. The law is the law and there’s plenty of employment law covering discrimination etc. With the prospect of multiple expensive employment tribunal cases if they don’t address diversity issues, we all have to accept the need for understanding them. However, all NHS Trusts must have HR departments, diversity isn’t that complex, surely? HR managers should be capable of dealing with it I would have thought.
Let’s cut the crap please
Flotsam
Who voted for diversity laws & issues ?
Those who came into this country should accept our culture and laws . Not the other way round.
Yes “cut the crap”.
Wow – a liberal …. On this site …. Wow ….laws can be
changed – with the Right outlook . The whole race industry – which you appear to support – is damning Blighty into a polarised country just like another country with a very different past but which , unfortunately , kinda speaks the same language .
I will always be against multiculturalism because it does not enrich us – it diminishes us .British people never had a choice ….
Who, me? A liberal?
Not a chance. I’m merely stating that the legal framework currently existing has to be complied with as unfair dismissals are extremely costly as are the legal costs
I think employment law is out of control and we really need to move to a hire and fire system.
I do know about employment law, my son does a few cases a year as an employer. Employment law and tribunals are a farce. The Unions act an advocate and funder for the employee. The Union people are stridently left wing and the Tribunals.tend to be favour the employee.
Flotsam – on reflection – I apologise – shouldn’t insult anyone by called them ‘a liberal ‘… and I don’t think I’d waste my time trying to engage with a ‘liberal ‘….
Most of the population have been conditioned to believe what they are told by the ‘authorities’ , government , MSM, ‘scientists’ etc. They are constantly subjected to the official line on vaccines, the climate emergency, Ukraine , mass migration, white privileged etc etc. They are subject to this brain washing day in day out. Unless they take a deal of trouble they get no other perspective , no debate, no alternate way to view events. In a flourishing robust democracy the media would hold the ‘ring’ and ensure that there was this robust debate and questioning but it gave up doing that in the eighties.
It’s no wonder that the vast majority of folks believe the official narratives and are therefore easily led down the path the elite wants.
Those magic unicorns are handing out money again .. this time for Coronation PR Community groups, town and parish councils and voluntary organisations across the area can get up to £250 to help kickstart their celebrations for the King’s Coronation.

The BBC is another media outlet that seems to have an obsessive fascination for Begum, producing both a film and podcast series regarding the former ISIS member’s so-called journey to Syria. The broadcaster announced on July 11, 2022:
“The BBC has today announced a landmark documentary for BBC Two and BBC iPlayer and a 10-part audio series for Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds, on the story of Shamima Begum. The podcast comes from the team behind the multi award-winning I’m Not A Monster, the BBC’s most awarded podcast series.”
Instead of focusing on the genocidal crimes ISIS committed against its victims and interviewing the victims directly, the BBC’s series and documentary largely deal with a glossy portrait of why and how Begum joined ISIS and her subsequent life there.
BBC viewers forthrightly responded, according to The Daily Mail on February 8:
“‘Why are the BBC giving Shamima Begum more airtime?’: ‘Sickened’ viewers slam broadcaster for airing 90-minute documentary that ‘parades ISIS bride as a celebrity’ just weeks after it launched 10-part podcast ‘retracing her steps’.
“Viewers have vowed to cancel their television licenses as they slammed last night’s ‘sickening’ 90-minute Shamima Begum documentary on the BBC.”

The bBC will soon be looking for the positives as each of the declared runners and riders prepare to enter the parade ring to replace Wee Burney.
The runners and riders can console themselves that even in a 3 horse race there will be a runner up and a 3rd places.

Rider 2 Ms A. Regan , an unknown filly but with lustrous red hair .
Rider 3 Mr. Humza Yousaf , jokingly known as “Useless” who’s form sadly ends with falls at the final hurdle. Someone with an even worse record of failure than Burney, herself.
It does make you wonder if its all a set up for Wee Burney to have a change of mind and return to die a second death on on that gender recognition hill…..surely even she couldn’t, t be that mad ??

Usual left hypocrisy:

From The Guardian, 2006:
“British soldiers cleared of rapes in Kenya:”

TOADY Watch #1 – it is not that mild

So the BBC item is part of PR for “World Day of Social Justice”

Probably a lot of red tape involved like asking the dead body what their personal pronouns are.
After all if you have a dead body how else could you possibly determine what their gender is?

Definitely the Leo and Harry years were the best.

Watching Biden in Ukraine. To me it sounded like the USA was effectively declaring war on Russia.
Putin can now only come to the same conclusion. Biden has given him no option.
WW3 now looks inevitable as I rather suspect that China will now throw its full weight behind Russia.
I also rather suspect that he is simply gambling that this will win him the next US presidency.

I wish China and India etc would join the cause against these globalists and supply Russia with weapons.

Who, me?
The Union people are stridently left wing and the Tribunals.tend to be favour the employee.

trusting enough in vaccines and in masks

From Uzay Bulut [Gatestone Institute, 20/2/2023]:
“The Newswashing of ISIS Bride Shamima Begum”
“… … …
… … …”
I do so like that last bit about cancelling those telly tax payments!

The bBC will soon be looking for the positives as each of the declared runners and riders prepare to enter the parade ring to replace Wee Burney.
The runners and riders can console themselves that even in a 3 horse race there will be a runner up and a 3rd places.
Rider 1 – Ms Kate Forbes , a young new mother. Kate has previous experience in accounting…
