India accuses the BBC of Tax Evasion. The luvvies claim it is an attack on the biased corporation because of the hatchet job documentary it did on the Indian PM Narendra Modi – someone they hate because they see him as a ‘far right extremist’ i.e. not someone like them, plus someone not sympathetic to their number one favourites the Muslims.

I wish our government would be as reactive as the Indian government is, not some simpering public schoolboy wetting his shorts and sticking his bottom lip out every time the BBC takes a swipe, but someone who take a positive reaction to unwarrented and politically biased criticism.

A friend had a minor bumper bash and admitted that it was his fault for not concentrating. He got out of his car to apologize and give his details to the other driver. He then saw that the car he had damaged belonged to a man who had dwarfism and he had climbed out of his car in a terrible rage, swearing and shouting terrible abuse at my friend. When the man had finished his tirade my friend quietly apologized and gave him his number and address and his insurance number. The short man was still very belligerent and finished up with saying “ I’m not happy you know “ my friend said “ oh, so which one are you then?”

    And there you have it:

objecting to your school aged daughter raped or sexually assaulted by an illegal immigrant is fascism.

“The Influx of Immigrants into Europe and the Increase in Sexual Violence

Hirsi Ali establishes a link between immigration and increasing sexual violence against women, and traces back the root of the problem to the cultural differences between Christian Europe and Muslim-majority countries.

In Muslim-majority countries the attitude is still that women can be blamed for being sexually assaulted.

Four European countries (Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, and France) host 70 per cent of Europe’s unauthorized immigrant population.

Alongside the increase in arrivals to Europe, sexual violence has proliferated on the continent, as detailed in ‘Chapter 3: Sexual Violence by Numbers’. Between 2017 and 2018, there was a 17 per cent increase in instances of rape, and a 20 per cent increase in other forms of sexual assault in France.3 In French public places, 3 million women have experienced unwanted sexual attention and advances. In Germany in 2017, the number of victims of ‘sexual coercion’ rose by 41 per cent. Compared to the previous year, Sweden witnessed a 12 per cent increase in reported sex offences in 2016—the staggering jump in these statistics is all the more shocking because rates of sexual violence were relatively stable in Sweden between 2005 and 2011. ”

    “The truth about Knowsley:

Britain’s media and political classes refuse to address the causes of the violent scenes in Liverpool

On the basis of an as yet unsubstantiated suggestion that the far-right may have been involved, an improbable narrative has been promoted in the media that Liverpool is the tip of the spear of British fascism, wielded by the Home Secretary against innocent migrants.

There is method to the madness. The wild claims steer the national debate away from the issue at hand — the impact of illegal migration on British communities, and the potential victimisation of vulnerable women and girls — and into the far more comfortable territory of condemning the bogeyman of the “far-right”.

We don’t yet know the veracity of the Knowsley video, any more than we yet know the extent of the far right’s involvement. But what we do know, from extensive government inquiries and in-depth reporting, is that police, government and social services have historically ignored the abuse of white working class girls by Pakistani gangs out of a fear of appearing racist. We also know that four Afghan refugees have been arrested for the rape of another 15 year old girl in Kent, and that in just one hotel housing migrants in East London, there were two cases of sexual assault of underage boys within weeks of each other.

In a context where the British public has every reason to believe that authorities may ignore and under-police sexual abuse perpetrated by migrants; where illegal immigrants are disproportionately young men, generally without employment, and whose criminal records in their home countries are unknown; and when there are numerous reports of incidents involving the hotels housing refugees, how can we dismiss the concerns of Knowsley residents as irrational and bigoted? And are their actions driven by prejudice supposedly inflamed by Suella Braverman, or is it precisely the inaction and silence of politicians that is provoking fear and anger?”

And where are the bbc on this ? oh yes here we are, quoting a deluded bint who gets her money from illegal immigration and is having sex with a lying, violent, arsonist, illegal islamist immigrant:

“The BBC couldn’t describe the protests as far-right, since there is as of yet no solid evidence that they were. Instead, they reported that “The BBC is yet to establish the nature of the protest” before going on to quote Clare Moseley saying what they could not. She told the BBC: “The far-right people were very organised and very violent.”

But just how impartial is Clare Moseley as a source? Even leaving aside her declared interests as a supporter of high migration, an advocate for refugees, and her role in running a charity that fundraises on this issue, there are more serious reasons to question her judgement and objectivity.

In 2017 the Sun reported that the (married) Clare Moseley had conducted an affair with one of the Calais residents her charity was supposed to be helping, a 27 year-old Tunisian man named Mohamed Bajjar who was posing as a Syrian refugee, and was also employed as a volunteer by the charity. When the affair ended, Bajjar attempted to set the charity’s HQ on fire, and threatened to kill everyone involved in it.

Despite this extraordinary lapse in judgement, Ms Moseley is still cited as a source and authority on refugee issues in the media. “

    Today
I had to laugh . Unusually there was a ‘debate ‘ on Today about an issue – meesh chaired it . Time was given . There was no rapid ending for ‘the weather ‘ as is the usual technique when there is even a whiff of unapproved views .

    The subject?

    Reducing the rural speed limit.

The argument between the parties ? Whether to reduce the limit to 40 mph or 45 mph .

Ok I admit – I did laugh at this nonsense . The proposals are all in the name of ‘safety ‘ of course…. Maybe the motorway speed limit should be reduced too – let’s make it 40 mph eh ?

The debate didn’t mention green crap – which is obviously the source of such poison .

In my life I have driven on roads where 100 mph is perfectly safe – and not unusual . Yet here some fool is proposing the limit should be 40 mph .

Trouble is though – once that false god of ‘community safety ‘ is raised – anything will be stamped down on – see the online censorship bill about to become law because the occasional teenager girl kills themselves ….

You beat me to it. But trouble is, you may laugh, I may laugh but those in power treat it seriously.
What excruciating nonsense this was. So just wait for it to become the next war zone against the motorist. A classic example of BBC impartiality, featuring one spokesman who want to reduce the speed limit and……..another spokesperson who wants to reduce the speed limit!

Our Mischal was of course fully on board. But then she has so much grasp of the issue, being a London-living person with a chauffeur to get her to the studios early doors. And if ‘safety’ doesn’t win the slow speed argument, why they would just move on to ‘lower fuel consumption to protect the environment’.

There was one fleeting moment which caught my ears. The cycling spokesman of all people commented , but blink and you missed it, that a ‘higher’ speed (which turned out to be 45 mph) was justified for people getting from A to B on the grounds of ‘economic benefits’.

Well, I never. Who would have thought that fast efficient private transport has economic benefits?
      Clearly not the BBC.

      Absolutely nauseating.

PS as I’ve written before, section 39 of the 1996 Road Traffic Act permits this stuff ad nauseam and public sector traffic officials love it as it keeps them in work ad infinitum. There is no logical maximum for speed limits if safety is the only factor as for any speed limit there must exist a lower one that is even safer. Time to unfurl all those Victorian red flags.

Transport authorities are using the Malicious Autocratic Design (MAD) philosophy:

      1) Make all direct routes indirect by rerouting roads via Timbuktu.
      2) Add extra junctions by infesting the countryside with Barrett housing box estates.
      3) Install road humps to increase fuel consumption and damage cars.
      4) Especially add traffic lights to increase congestion.
      5) Don’t fix potholes to damage cars.
      6) Install speed cameras to fleece motorists.
      7) Remove signs so motorists get lost.
      8) Be happy that every extra junction increases crashes.
      9) Close roads for years to do any of the above.

        Some additions
        10) change speed limits frenetically along a stretch of road with similar features all along and don’t use repeaters. Then convict motorists of breaking the speed limit when they do the wrong speed on the wrong stretch. ( try A413 between Denham and Amersham).
        11) ensure sequences of traffic light have no synchronicity, thus maximising queues
        12) remove bus lay-bys by filling them in and make the buses stop on the carriageway, thus holding up traffic behind them
        13) introduce draconian low speed limits randomly on ‘smart motorways’ irrespective of the actual road conditions
        14) treat motorists as if their brakes have not improved since the 1920s when introducing reduced speed limits before a hazard
        15) remove traffic lanes and rededicate them to cyclists ( usually young men effectively gaining a free alternative to gym membership)

“Notice that the protesters never have their views carried — unless they make a slip-up, an indiscretion or a politically incorrect remark. That’s because they’re easy to ignore. The working classes don’t have well-funded NGOs or a rotating cast of spokespeople to offer commentary and context. Where workers might once have looked to the unions for a voice, they now serve to police the spectrum of acceptable opinion. When Mick Lynch says “no person is illegal” he is taking the side of those in the British business community who equate immigration — all and any immigration — as a wages’ cost depressant and therefore welcome.

The difference in how Knowsley has been covered compared with “progressive” protests is brutally stark. On 7 June 2020, Sky News reported on Black Lives Matter protesters who (like the Knowsley protestors) attacked police in central London. To footage of officers retreating under assault, the report began:

They are the images organisers of this protest had desperately hoped to avoid. But for a second night, police officers under attack from an angry crowd around Whitehall. Running for cover as protestors threw bottles and other objects at them … This will be disappointing for the many thousands of peaceful demonstrators who turned up outside the US embassy earlier in the day … Two weeks after George Floyd was killed in Minneapolis, the passion and sense of injustice is still profound

Here’s how Sky reported on Knowsley:

Last weekend a far-Right group delivered leaflets in this area, and posted a video claiming people are outraged migrants are living here. Unverified footage on social media appearing to show a migrant talking to a 15-year-old girl sparked anger locally. The police are investigating but have warned of rumour and misinformation. I’ve just been speaking to two local women who didn’t want to go on camera but say they were at the original peaceful demonstration. They say they came here because they are concerned about approaches migrants have made to children in the area. When I asked them if they had any evidence that had actually happened, they said they’d seen comments on social media … The MP for Knowsley believes the anger here had been fuelled by misinformation.

Clare Moseley (yes, her again) is then brought before the camera to say “If people don’t want asylum seekers in hotels, they need to tell the government to process their claims faster and let them work.”

One event is reported as an extension of righteous indignation, and the other as a sordid affair sparked by misinformation, and by extension — the misinformed. The locals are denied a voice — but Care 4 Calais is given space to explain.

These descriptions could be entirely reversed. The BLM riots could be said to have been based on claims about racism that lack evidence. That misinformation about policing and racialised outcomes in the UK had fuelled violence on our streets. That far-Left and Communist groups had distributed leaflets and placards in the area to incite a mob.

And it could well be said the Knowsley protest was fuelled by a sense of injustice. The injustice embodied in these hotels standing as towering monoliths to inequality. That billions are spent accommodating illegal migrants in the middle of a housing crisis. That pensioners who gave for their entire lives are hiding under blankets in front of gas fires, scrimping and scraping to manage to both heat and eat. Why should this injustice be felt less keenly than the killing of a man across an ocean?”

So much of news is theatre and adverts for your mates

8am Radio4 “Andrew Tate has been taking strong legal action against an accuser”
.. strange since he’s in prison.
Ah .the actual story is ‘The BBC has just learned that he sent a decease letter way back in December ‘
Does that really warrant near top of the news space ?

Meanwhile local radio news opened with the news that their will be a vigil in Hull today to a murdered 16 year old.
Radio Lincolnshire news did that about a Lincoln vigil a few days ago.
The vigils are of course organised by trans activists
It’s as if they have a close relationship with the BBC.

Radio Humberside then moved to other charity PR
‘There was a charity sleepout in Cleethorpes last night organised by a homeless charity’
I wonder if the charity is Labour Party connected

Meanwhile for Knowsley shouting “far right” is often an indication of theatre.
It is worrying that the media are in such a grip of antifa types
and go so theatrical and conformist in covering such events
and not giving an accurate picture of what the situation is.

So BBCbreaking “Andrew Tate sent a legal letter 2 months ago !”

      Then the vigils
One gets top promotion and another is universally smeared as a “far right riot”
The trans community have every right to gather to show concern for violence against their community.
The people who come will be a varied group from some with soft beliefs, most in the middle to a few with some extremist views
eg that it’s OK for sexualised drag queens to be teaching in schools

Likewise the people in Knowsley have a right to their vigil
and there was a varied group there varied group from some with soft beliefs ,most in the middle to a few with some extremist views.

However look at the difference in news coverage
The tran rights vigil gets top billing in the news
The Knowsley vigil about protecting young girls from sexual harm is labelled as them all being “far right” “rioters”.

Even though as I explained at the end of the last thread the long form live videos seem to show a huge peaceful crowd with lots of women and older people
.. and 3 or 4 hooded guys smashing up a police van
And later a few scousers pretending to be hard by shouting at police lines and then running away when police did move .

There was a story – possibly apocryphal – that somewhere in some backwater locale too under-funded to afford a million the show title had to be translated to Who Wants To Be Very Rich?

Warburtons pick up at One Stop. Subject to availability. Terms and conditions apply. (Daily Star & Daily Mirror) – in case you were wondering and fancied a slice of this generous offer. Seems we can choose between Medium soft white and Toastie thick white.

Speaking of terms and conditions apply: PM faces Tory rebellion on Northern Ireland protocol (Guardian) – BBC staff’s bestest favourite paper of choice tops the press pile once more over there at the BBC online press review today.

Well, if it worked for the FT yesterday with the selfsame story and similar headline, albeit in the rather more ponderous lingo of that pink market paper: Sunak gamble on Brexit endgame spurs warning from Eurosceptics – catching the BBC eye and winning top spot, then imitation is the sinisterest form of BBC flattery – or somesuch?

‘Everyday without Nicola is a struggle’ (Daily Telegraph) – nope, nothing to do with woke nationalist politician Nicola Sturgeon’s recent resignation – or in Who Wants To Be A Millionaire speak: ‘walking away’ from a question she just couldn’t answer, leaving the game with the cash amount she had already banked.

The FT tends to agree: Sturgeon departure leaves questions unanswered

But that Telegraph frontpager is in fact the continually evolving, yet no new developments since jump street, story that our BBC progresses this morning with the line: Why TikTok sleuths descended on Nicola Bulley’s village (BBC) – that’ll be because our media made the story a major cause celeb and then wonders at the public interest. And of course this line appeals to the BBC’s ongoing guerrilla warfare scare campaign against rival modes of media.

Berk of the Beeb – says the Daily Star – no not: Sir David Attenborough comes home (Telegraph) – the globetrotting naturalist and broadcaster having feathered his nest very nicely.

‘Arrogant’ BBC under fire over licence fee boast – fires back the Daily Express over: …remarks by BBC boss Tim Davie about forcing viewers to pay the licence fee. He said it was “amazing” people are “happy” to find the £159 – there was of course a time when the BBC had the confidence to regard itself as the proverbial best thing since sliced bread. Now they sense they’re lingering on hanging by a thread care of our older generation’s inertia and perhaps the Tory government’s liberal tendency to do nothing.

Our politicians do nothing for us but simultaneously like to involve themselves in every aspect of just about everything: Now Rishi questions conduct of Nicola police (Daily Mail); PM ‘concerned’ over Nicola cops… Rishi wades in on hunt for missing mum (The Sun) – I’m going to side with the feminists here and question how come a woman always has be defined in the media as the wife, girlfriend or mother? There is of course another female archetypal indentity – the whore…

    Busted for some blow

In other female news: Love Island Kaz’s torment… My Jail hell in Dubai… Star in cell with 30 women (The Sun) – echoes of our Scots Nicola’s career-ending prison-gender over-woke misstep aside, this smacks of old TV show Prisoner Cell Block H. How come Kaz got banged up in the arab micro state, you ask? She was freed without charge after being quizzed over an old video of her snorting a substance (The Sun) – when in Rome, luv.

Meanwhile in a similar drugs-related vein, so to speak, our DIY NHS progresses: Prescriptions could be obtained without GP (Telegraph) – Big Pharma rubbing its hands.

The brutality of politics Female MPs speak out – shrieks the Guardian – their frontpage rather arty pics featuring heroines the likes of Sturgeon, Abbott and Caroline Nokes (who she?). In other words, if I don’t get my own way – just like Just William’s girlfriend Violet Elizabeth Bott (there I go again defining a female by her relationship to a chap) She’s going to: ‘scream and scream till I’m sick’

Turns out he’s a footballer from Ghana who used to play in the Premier League. Could the fact that he is….errr…shall we say non-white …possibly have anything to do with the elevation of this story to the same front page priority level as ……….Mackenzie Crook’s missing relative. So Christian Atsu will be a big name in Ghana since he played 65 times for the national team.
He moved to Hatay in September to play for the local team and had recently scored a winning goal, so he was probably popular there.
But is his death British news , more than the deaths of the other 40,000 ?

TWatO and TOADY Watch combined – it seems that the BBC is determined to push Bhuddism on us

I guess that the BBC in their wisdom think Bhuddism will keep the Islamic wolf from their door, some hope, and so TWatO yesterday gave us a dose of ‘mindfulness’ (a.k.a. Bhuddism) and this morning’s Thought for the Day was from a Yoga teacher and Bhuddist. I resisted via the Off Switch on both occasions.

Agree. Democracy died in the UK at the beginning of this century. This was due to the slow strangulation of free speech , the abolition of the right to hold and voice opinions which the elites didn’t agree with, endless mind numbing propaganda pumped out by the state censored media , an education system which regarded indoctrination as more important than education and finally an elite who not only hated the country but also believed that their duty was to the world as a whole not to the country that they lived in.

The combined effect of the above is such that the majority of voters have not yet realised how there has in effect been a coup which has disenfranchised them. Such is the degree of state censorship that they dont get informed of this from the mass media. But in time I think that they will realise what has happened and at that point the elites will need to use force to maintain their control. This may or may not succeed . But whatever happens it is going to be one hell of a mess.

In essence, a glacially-slow civil war has been taking place in Britain for several generations, waged by the establishment against the ordinary population. Daily, weekly, monthly… the changes are inperceptible. Annually, barely so. But, over the decades and generations, the process continues inexorably and the chickens are now coming home to roast. It began with the passing of the British Nationality Act 1948, which effectively gave the right to live in this country to a quarter of the World’s population. That was the trigger event for most of what has happened since.

    – The week before that a woman called Jarral a Pakistani name. She made a series about traveling to Muslim countries

    All 3 men were white
    – One is Irish traveller, one an artist,
    – One a former journalist (Thy fail to mention he worked for the BBC as a Radio4 presenter)
    – One was badly injured by the Libyan bomber in Manchester

The topics include : Traveller comedian.

This Valentines day I did the regular scope out of the meal deals on offer at the big supermarkets deciding that M&S had the best deal on offer I took a look see at their menu surprised to see the number of vegan and vegetarian opions on offer.

I’m not anti these foods by any means and as believer in freedom believe people have a right to choose a diet they feel suits them, but the main courses came to that and steak (2 cuts) or lamb rack.

So I rolled up there to find perhaps predictably there were no meat mains left and the shelves bulging with vegetarian and vegan food which had clearly been over ordered.

Three days later I returned to do the usual vulture picking of what hasn’t been sold and was reduced, and yes predictably bulging shelves crammed full of unsold and unwanted V and Ve food, which is probably going to end up at the food bank or worse landfill, which I hope teaches a lesson to the loons in the marketing department that although a small number of voices can scream very loudly, there aren’t very many of them and they don’t buy very much – probably because they are stoodents or claiming benefits.

The wider point here though is that those who shout very loudly might be few in number, but are unfortunately listened to by people in power. The so called silent (or prehaps better silenced) majority are simply ignored.

I have noted here some time ago that Waitrose had slipped vegan cheese (well that is how the label describes it) on the same shelf as proper cheese. If it wasn’t for a small sign on the front saying it contained coconut oil, I could have easily bought in error. But being allergic to coconut, and it being high in cholesterol, I certainly wouldn’t want to buy the highly processed stuff.

But was in Tescos the other day. They had a whole fridge section full of vegan cheese including vegan Philadelphia. It made me start to notice the huge amount of vegan stuff on the shelves. There are huge area of shelf dedicated to fake milk, pretend meat, etc etc. I like to know what I am eating. I presume all these vegans don’t care what they put inside them.

I was playing about with the “AI” Bing search and, coincidently, tried to see what it came up with concerning Vegetables and plants because of the continuous hype about plant based foods.

The answer was “A plant is a general term for any organism that is not an animal and can make its own food by photosynthesis . A vegetable is a specific term for a plant or part of a plant that is edible. For example, a carrot is a vegetable, but not all plants are vegetables.

By that definition plant based foods could contain inedible plants.

Just asking as I read in the Daily Mail this morning that an all-female reboot of Starsky and Hutch is being prepared by Fox, with the characters renamed as Sasha Starsky and Nicole Hutchinson.
    Thoughts:
    – Weren’t Dave Starsky and Ken Hutchinson a couple of big girl’s blouses anyway?
    – Is this all they can do now, remake old stuff but change the men into women or the whites into blacks?
    – Lastly, define “woman.” Picture below from that other 70s cop show CHiPs, of occasional guest star Caitlyn Jenner.
