Editorial here, a subject I have touched on before:

“PETER HITCHENS: The country was misled on a vital matter – and it wasn’t Boris Johnson’s parties

This country’s attitude towards events in Ukraine is based on a slavish decision to do what the Americans tell us to do, rather than on any serious estimate of our own national interest. I believe this may drag us into prolonged war.

Even the poor King must take part, forced to say during his German visit that the Russian invasion of Ukraine was ‘unprovoked’. This assertion is highly contentious and makes our monarch look silly and ill-informed.

Even the anti-Russian Washington hawk Robert Kagan has clearly stated that it was provoked. Provocation does not, of course, justify any such invasion, but admitting that it took place might make our own policy less wildly militant and risky.

It is regrettable but true that most of our media and political class are unaware of one of the biggest events in modern European history – that this crisis began with the lawless overthrow of Ukraine’s legitimately elected president, Viktor Yanukovych, in 2014. There is little doubt that this coup had Western backing.

Peaceful protests in Kiev had been infiltrated by ultra-Right thugs.

As the Ukrainian sociologist Volodymyr Ishchenko wrote in The Guardian soon before the putsch: ‘Before the start of full-fledged street violence on 19 January, Western media were naively celebrating the ‘European values’ of the movement – despite the fact that the xenophobic, homophobic, nationalist Svoboda party had, with even more extreme groups, been involved in Euromaidan – as the protests are known – almost from the beginning.

They were using far-Right slogans, fighting with the police, leading occupations of administrative buildings and dismantling monuments.

Yet neither the incidents of torture, lynching and public humiliation of alleged thieves in the protest camp, nor the beatings of homeless and drunk people nearby, have made it into the international media.’

David Roman, then a correspondent in Kiev for the Wall Street Journal, has since described the events: ‘I must correct the impression… that a courageous popular response to armed repression led to victory for the protesters.

On the contrary, on the last days of February 2014, armed thugs – many, if not most, heavily armed far-Right and neo-Nazi activists from western Ukraine – stormed Maidan square, killing and capturing police officers and forcing the hand of a government that, as well as being unpopular, was bankrupt and diplomatically isolated.

Some people… may think this good and proper, so that Ukraine has a pro-EU, pro-American government.

Personally, I was struck by the image of a democratically elected president escaping his country in the middle of the night, chased by hooligans holding Waffen-SS banners.’

The Neil Oliver Show on GB News interviewed Dr Jim Thorp, Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Must be the first mention of the Pfizer documents on GB News since Dr Naomi Wolf on the Mark Steyn Show. Talked about the experimental mRNA jabs for pregnant women. Other doctor called the mRNA jab a vaccine and did not seem to be working on a pregnancy ward. Pfizer documents show that 100 people died every week. Massive increase in pregnancy problems after the mRNA jab rollout. Dramatic decrease in infertility. Dr Jim Thorp mentioned that hydroxychloroquine had been used for many years for autoimmune conditions. Mentioned US Government data showing that 33% of Americans had complications after an mRNA jab.

Living in an April Fool’s paradice edition

One reads how the Dunkirk evacuation in 1940 took nine days, or some such, to bring over 300,000 troops back to Britain.

Rishi has six months to sort boats crisis – so says the Sunday Express this morning. Six months! Doesn’t quite add up, does it?

Not when you further consider the government could bring in innovative powers to shut down half the economy and lock us in our homes in March 2020 by executive dictat – practically overninght.

Staff can sue their boss if customers offend them (Sunday Telegraph) – nope, that doesn’t make much sense either.

Another present day conundrum is how come the supposedly Tory Times and Sunday Times titles now regularly shill for the Labour leader: I know what a woman is, insists Starmer

I’m not sure that even Tony Blair’s spin doctors par excellence – Mandelson and Campbell – ever had the Sunday Times editorial singing from their hymn sheet.

Cows will get flatulence blockers so UK can hit net zero goal (Sunday Telegraph) – please, god, someone tell me that’s a late April Fool’s gag!

Update on mountain bike: police said to put it in a communal area. I contacted a local cllr to put details on facebook but the bike disappeared overnight after 11 pm.

The only people walking at that time are returning from the pub up the road.

If someone does respond to Facebook I will advise they sue the police for cost of replacement.

lol – a new way for the BBC to tell us a story without having to give us any information whatsoever about who did it by referring to them by their age !!!.

‘On Saturday evening four men, aged 24, 29, 36 and 38, were charged with affray and disorderly behaviour.

The men aged 24, 29 and 38 were also charged with common assault.’

While I was there, I did a check to see what else was buried in ‘regions’ that I didn’t see which would be far more significant than a story about how old 4 men are.

      Lo and behold these men:
      _129181220_sharmakeconvicted.jpg.webp

Were found guilty of murdering this man:
      _120679492_sharmake.jpg.webp

      … and also this man:
      _122560263_mdr226-21-zaianaimable-lina.jpg.webp

Was stabbed right through the heart and lung by yet another 15 year old ‘who cannot be named for legal reasons’. And the BBC don’t bat an eyelid because they don’t care.

They should have a separate main section called ‘enrichment’ to put these in so we can find them more easily and see all the lies by omission the BBC get up to.

to their mission to poorer communities; to children,

Sustainable means that churches need to have plans in

The far-left BBC’s choice for the UK at eurovision, Mae Muller, (no, me neither) has been outed by The Telegraph as being an anti-Tory, anti-Boris, anti-British far-left activist. “I hate Britain”, being one of her choice comments. As with all lefty types, she is a total hypocrite – she is more than happy to take the coin and adulation to represent the country she hates and has clearly held her back so badly.

Why, one might ask, did the BBC pick this person?

I think we know why. Everything they do, and I mean absolutely everything, has an agenda behind it. Nothing is accidental.

        Close them down.

According to even the most conservative estimates, China will overtake the United States as the world’s largest economy by 2027 and will ascend to the position of world economic leader by 2050. But the full repercussions of China’s ascendancy-for itself and the rest of the globe-have been surprisingly little explained or understood. In this far-reaching and original investigation, Martin Jacques offers provocative answers to some of the most pressing questions about China’s growing place on the world stage.

Australia : Are Tories always a bit thick ?
People like complicated stories they prefer simplistic untruths, but buckle up

Kellie-Jay Keen (Posie Parker) took her Let Women Speak rallies to Australia
.. antifa prepared the ground by rigging her Wikipedia page to falsely say she is associated with neoNazis
Someone arranges for a bunch of blokes who look like cos-play-Nazis to turn up at the rally in Melbourne
One seems to do a friendly fist bump with a police officer as the police let them through into the rally.

An Australian female Liberal MP (ie Tory) Moira Deeming attends the rally to speak

The frothing Labour an frothing media froth

John Pesutto the state leader of the state Tories then makes a decision
“Oh I don’t like the lefties and media saying nasty things about our party, so I WILL SHUT THIS WOMAN MP UP, I’ll throw her out of the party .. ”
He then goes on TV to say “I’m disgusted that this woman attended a rally where there were Nazis and here’s a big list of times the speaker Kellie-Jay has associated with Nazis, Hate Hate Hate ”
reads out the false list he got off Wikipedia.

She shuts up off the media but does speak in the party meeting
Saying her background is she was raped multiple times as a child
and that her close uncle survived the holocaust.
    Thus MPs don’t expel her
Instead he expels her for 9 months and runs to the ABC saying party are not evil Nazis they are nice and that Moira Deeming has condemned Kellie
Moira then tweets that she hasn’t

Then there is a local By-election which the Liberals lose for a variety of reasons
And then Billy Bragg tweets : ‘see the Liberals are the party of Hate , that’s why they didn’t win’

officially called vocational education and training centers

The Xinjiang internment camps,[note 1] officially called vocational education and training centers (Chinese: 职业技能教育培训中心)[12] by the government of China,[13][14][15][16] are internment camps operated by the government of Xinjiang and the Chinese Communist Party Provincial Standing Committee. Human Rights Watch says that they have been used to indoctrinate Uyghurs and other Muslims since 2017 as part of a “people’s war on terror”, a policy announced in 2014.[1][17][18]
The camps have been criticized by the governments of many countries and human rights organizations for alleged human rights abuses, including mistreatment, rape, and torture, with some of them alleging genocide.[19]

Some 40 countries around the world have called on China to respect the human rights of the Uyghur community,[20] including countries such as Canada, Germany, Turkey, Honduras and Japan.

The governments of more than 35 countries have expressed support for China’s government.[21][22][23]

Why is it that our government is doing all the things that the majority don’t want while at the same time not doing all the things that people actually DO want.

We (the majority) do not want heat pumps, electric cars, LTN and ULEZ zones, 15 minute Cities, windmills, all the woke rubbish, all the net zero rubbish, all the green crap, all the diversity bosses plus everything that goes with it, we don’t want to lead the world by ruining our economy to reduce our 1% of the man made carbon which is only 3% of all the carbon produced making our contribution 0.03% and all the other things they are doing to us against our wishes.

What we DO want is migration/immigration controlled, Brexit done properly, police tackling proper crime and not hurty texts, real sentencing for criminals, actually do something about the tens of thousands of little girls being raped by these enricher grooming gangs, stop the boats completely and do not allow anyone ashore plus so many other things that we want doing but are being ignored.

I wish Reform, UKIP and the others would get their act together.
In the Netherlands, the Farmers are now the biggest Party and I bet they will become much bigger next time as people realise it’s not a wasted vote.
If these Reform type Parties get a decent vote I think the next vote will be much bigger when people see their vote is no longer wasted.
Instead of voting for one Party to keep the other out or voting for the least worst Party people can vote for a Party that will do what they want.

Maybe our politicians think they are being macho by defying and denying the voters wishes or they might even think they are right but they are voted in to run the Country for the population and not to ignore all the things we want whilst doing all the things we don’t want.

    Here’s a question.
Are they doing anything that the majority want them to do (and I don’t mean Brexit because they are making a right dogs breakfast out of it)

I gave up being deluded that I live in a democracy . It isn’t – maybe it never was . But recent years have highlighted the Westminster group think – the majority in the Commons are made of the same stuff – controversy is manufactured – but their policies ‘ outlook are broadly the same – and not mine . I used to vote Tory out of self interest and my distaste for welfare dependency . But I won’t be doing it again .

When the next election comes hundred of blue labour MPs will look like stunned cows in the slaughter house as they lose their seats . The red lot will jump up and down – but in truth there won’t be much difference – taxes will go up – restrictions on freedoms will continue .

It’s unfortunate that voters like ‘popular ‘ figures like Johnson – but when he gets power – 80 seats – he did what his woke wife told him to do and thankfully got dumped .

Richi believes in the same thing as starmer – there is no one of the Right . I’m seriously thinking of leaving Britain – mainly because to me it’s not Britain any more – it’s rapidly declining mush with no one to stop it ….

.. the nearest we got was the shyster Farage – who prefers the TV to real change – if he believed in anything – he’d have engaged the political process – but I suppose he got bought off somewhere ….

    Climate Change now on Countryfile
Drought Porn is really importan to the BBC these days , so Tom Heap is doing another item
So he can shout Climate Change and pretend the UK is becoming a desert
Which is actually far from true.
IPCC have always predicted the UK would have warmer wetter summers.

Heap is showing us dry fields of Richard Heady in Buckinghamshire
Must be old footage cos in March Buckinghamshire had more than double normal rainfall.

February 6.1mm rain, March 107.9mm rain😲, a lot can change in a month!
I guess I’ll keep busy with the winter cattle feeding and bedding routine,
and not field work for a while! #farming @SencropUK

What an utterly pathetic piece of poor, uninteresting rubbish the beebesses have produced here.

‘Insisted’, and a reference to something that happened in another shithole five years ago doesn’t fill me with much interest, but presumably the lefty undermanagers have done a Google and found something to wet their little knickers about!

    Pathetic!

Time to ask Danes and Sandi Toksvig for money back ….

    Dane-Geld
    A.D. 980-1016
It is always a temptation to an armed and agile nation
To call upon a neighbour and to say: —
“We invaded you last night–we are quite prepared to fight,
Unless you pay us cash to go away.”

And that is called asking for Dane-geld,
And the people who ask it explain
That you’ve only to pay ’em the Dane-geld
And then you’ll get rid of the Dane!

It is always a temptation for a rich and lazy nation,
To puff and look important and to say: —
“Though we know we should defeat you, we have not the time to meet you.
We will therefore pay you cash to go away.”

    And that is called paying the Dane-geld;
But we’ve proved it again and again,
That if once you have paid him the Dane-geld
You never get rid of the Dane.

It is wrong to put temptation in the path of any nation,
    For fear they should succumb and go astray;
So when you are requested to pay up or be molested,
You will find it better policy to say: —

    “We never pay any-one Dane-geld,
    No matter how trifling the cost;
For the end of that game is oppression and shame,
And the nation that pays it is lost!”

2:15 News about the gay lack South African dancer from Strictly who did their same sax dance segments
His 2 tour dates in Bridlington got cancelled at the last moment.

2m35s Caribbean WWII RAF memorial in Filey to crew unveiled
The black bloke Glenn said some ridiculous things
‘There are people both young and old who simply don’t know that People of Colour fought and died alongside their British counterparts in both WW1 and WW2

Sad that these brave young men who came from the Caribbean has been pretty much erased from the history books
.. they’ve been made invisible , with this plaque they will become visible gain

Invisible, nope the media give them plenty of time,
    Disproportionately.
And the two wars were world wars and people from across the British Empire helped out
it’s just the numbers from the Caribbean weren’t huge
A total of 236 Caribbean volunteers were killed or reported missing during the Second World War
Whereas Over 27,000 Australians were killed during World War

And for WW1 1,200 Caribbean soldiers were killed or died
86 metals were won for gallantry
For Australian soldiers the latest figure for those killed is given as 62,000.

He said it was a battle to get a memorial
I’m not sure if that is true
He said his uncle trained at RAF Filey in old Butlins camp so he wanted to put in in a park alongside the memorials to local people who had died
but the council thought it would detract away from them
So his memorial is on a house down the road.
Dunno why the didn’t put it near to the actual base which is 2 miles south of Filey.
