          August 22nd 2018

She is older now, her once dazzling looks undeniably faded, her famous beauty worn and creased.

“Sorry about that,” she says. “I was supposed to get ironed yesterday.”

Yes, it’s “that dress” — the dress that, 20 years ago this month, held the fate of a presidency in her lap. It has been two decades since the day she gave her dramatic testimony to the grand jury and then promptly disappeared into the federal witness protection program. Even as she recalls her brief moment in the spotlight, she looks drawn. But that’s because, following extensive reconstructive surgery, she’s been living quietly as a pair of curtains in Idaho.

“What do you think?” she says, saucily brushing her hem against the sill as her pleats ripple across the mullions. “It cost less than Paula Jones’ nose job.”

To be honest, I was lucky to get the interview. The dress was supposed to be doing the BBC — the full sob-sister treatment, Martin Bashir, the works—but, to protect her identity, they wanted to do that undercover secret-location protect-your-identity trick with the camera that makes part of the screen go all fuzzy and blurry.

“Are you crazy?” she yelled at them. “It’ll look like I’ve still got the stain.”

I don’t find it strange. you would nnever have found Mugabe attacking his own people, nor any of the African dictators so long as it suited them, and this is an apt comparison for an America which can no longer be regarded as a beacon of democracy, but more like a banana republic.

Jail toilets face away from Mecca

Facilities in a prison are being built so Muslim inmates do not have to face Mecca while sitting on the toilet.

The Home Office said two new toilet blocks are being installed as part of a refurbishment at Brixton jail in south London.

Faith leaders had told prison bosses it was unacceptable for Muslim inmates to face Mecca while using the toilet.

“The refurbishment has been carried out with due consideration for all faiths”, a Home Office spokeswoman said.
“Following consultation with faith leaders within the prison, various small adjustments were made to ensure the faith issues of all prisoners are taken into account.”

She added: “The money spent did not affect the overall cost of the refurbishment programme.”

    3) That the orchestrated delay allowed the instalment of continuity candidate Humza Useless.

From a female point of view – 95% of ads in weekly womens magazines portray black/mixed race models selling beauty products, Getty images showing relationship problems, and most fashion, so its not just white males who have been ousted, the white female is slowly being eradicated too.

Also in a show of diversity the shopping telly channel QVC have recently been showing on screen a model complete with headscarf. Thats ok, but when selling a short sleeve summer dress, this model wears a long sleeved up to the neck T shirt underneath and leggings that cover her legs up ! – not exactly the look that most white British women are aspiring too, and I suspect that most Muslim women don’t watch QVC anyway !!

Have you seen the TV advert set in a shop where a white woman asks a mixed race woman how she gets her glowing skin? She then grabs up an armful of whatever is being advertised.
Really, does this ever happen in real life? A woman asking another woman of a different race what skin products she uses?

      • BRISSLES says:

It would never happen. Beauty products react differently for a start, and lipsticks and eye shadows would certainly produce a different effect on deeply tanned or darker skin.

Advertising Agencies will never return to the status quo of a few years ago, they have taken a path that cannot be returned upon.

Does anyone know whether countries with an 80% majority of black people have advertising portraying mainly white people ?

In 2020 new NHS gender dysphoria services for adults will open in Greater Manchester, London and Merseyside.

These services will be delivered by healthcare professionals with specialist skills and based in local NHS areas, such as sexual health services. Full details will be available once each service is opened.

Initially, access to these services will be available to people who are already on a waiting list to be seen at one of the established gender dysphoria clinics.

NHS England will assess how useful these new pilot services are.

No holding back for ‘political correctness’ by the BBC for this one.

There is plenty of criminal low-life of all colours in this country. My problem with it is the vastly disporportionate number of the non-white 10% which is never mentioned by the BBC.

Here’s another from yesterday which I never saw:

Ghulam Sadiq: Judge makes weapons plea after murder conviction
    https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-london-65169358

Jurors have been urged to write to their MPs about the “shocking” availability of weapons after a man was convicted of killing a teenager with a 22in (55cm) zombie knife.

‘Emadh Miah, 18, was found guilty at the Old Bailey of murdering Ghulam Sadiq by his home in Leytonstone, east London.

    _129263323_miah.jpg.webp

He is also due to be sentenced over a separate hammer attack on a 16-year-old boy.’

It seems it’s all the fault of the shocking availability of zombie knives. Seems to me he only had that because it was cool. A kitchen knife would have done the job just as well.

Quite why headline of the the story is about a judge asking jurors to write to their MP’s seems very odd. Even cold blooded murderers are portrayed as victims now.

The cost of the Ukraine war for one Russian regiment
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-65179074

I almost burst out laughing reading this article which is almost 100% fiction presented as another pointless ‘Russians are losing’ propaganda piece.

The idea for it is obviously to make us think the Russians are losinbg a lot more troops than Ukraine. In fact, the unthinking BBC reader will have assumed Ukraine aren’t losing any soldiers or tanks at all because they are never mentioned.

Anyway, the bottom line is that the BBC have no idea at all how many people this regiment has lost but they seem obsessed with it. Here is their evidence that it is a lot:

‘We had confirmed 39 fatalities by April last year, 62 by late July, and now the toll has reached 94.’. Is that all ???.

‘Much of the work compiling this list has involved combing social media accounts on V’Kontakte, the Russian equivalent of Facebook, and local media reporting. We can then cross reference this with satellite and Google Street View imagery.’

Right. So they are looking at ‘facebook’ and Google Earth. I wonder if the ‘journalist’ even knows google earth maps are not real time and can be months or years out of date.
    So here it is:

‘The actual number of 331st’s dead is probably much higher. Some of the soldiers are from towns outside Kostroma, which makes tracking down information about them much more difficult. Several soldiers have been reported missing – some of these may count among the dead.

When one considers those seriously wounded or taken prisoner, it’s reasonable to assume that the Ukraine war has cost the regiment several hundred soldiers.’

That’s the basis of an entire article demontsrating that Russia are losing.

This article is a good example of how the BBC weave their lies into a narrative. This one has many lies by inference – for example:

‘The call-up of paratroopers, part of Russia’s wider mobilisation, underlines the degree to which the Ukraine campaign has exhausted the country’s professional army, of which the 331st has been a showpiece. In footage of November’s parade, 150 conscripts were shown before their dispatch to the front.’

What this paragraph ACTUALLY says is that 150 conscripts were sent to the front. What you are MEANT to believe is that they were all replacing losses in the 331st.

It’s an extremely desperate article. General information and inference is randomly scattered all over it but worded to make you think it is all part of the same story.

This is the useless BBC guy who wrote it – Mark Urban who works for newsnight, which says it all. His twitter shows he has no real clue about anything he is talking about. He shares a ridiculous propaganda video of a DJI drone under another drone. The lower one simply flies upwards into the other one. He believes it’s a Russian drone being downed by a Ukranian drone. He also shares Marianna’s videos.

‘Inquiry as teen fatally shot by officer sitting behind him in car’
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-65197857

    or

‘Armed black car thief shot by policeman trapped in car after refusing to stop’

Depending on what you want people to think.

This article links to this one:

Why do so many police traffic stops turn deadly?
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-64458041

I know the answer to this one already and I know the BBC article is going to all be about racism.

The answer is this : if a car is pulled over and the guy inside is black, it is very likely he has a gun under his seat or in the door pocket.

If he refuses to comply with what he is told to do and makes a move somewhere in the car, they shoot him, Because there is a high chance he is going for a weapon.

So I check that lengthy article and sure enough, that one single overriding reason is not specifically stated anywhere. It is just alluded to somewhere in the middle.

Another huge lie by omission from the BBC. You cannot trust ANYTHING they say to give you the real picture.

I presume it’s all part of the pre-written plan in the run up to nuclear war. It will be very useful to warn people where fallout etc is going to land.

I suppose it could also be used locally to get everybody to hide inside when Alans Snackbar opens for business.

Can’t think of any other reason for it. And I bet nobody in authority mentions those two.

Since the far left have given up the pretence that we live in a democracy, with far left judges appointed to witch Hunt a political opponent before the 2024 US election, whilst corrupt Hillary and sex criminal Bill still walk free and unmolested…
With the far left, endemically corrupt SNP demanding Tories hold an general election when they change leader but shut their gobs when they do the same, and hold leadership debates behind closed doors and delay a corrupt leader’s husband arrest until after another one is appointed, etc etc

I recommend Conservatives take a leaf out of Putin’s book and learn the fine art of defenestration of opponents as the only way forward. Starting with Lineker and Spring please.

Nil points and a quirk of typographical synchronicity in this seemingly interminable Eurovision edition

In entertainment news this morning: You’re nicked… Sturgeon husband arrested in £600k funds inquiry… Police search house, garden and HQ (freebie Metro) – we see photos of those familiar police forensics tents set up all over the Sturgeons’ garden – we know they’ve nicked the husband and searched the house and garden – but have they taken the garden gnome into custody yet?

But seriously, in entertainment news this morning: Eurovision 2023: Every song ranked, from Albania to the UK (BBC) – ‘ranked‘ – a harsh but fair critique in my experience.

Mr AsI gets to recycle a gag there that he’s used before hereabouts because our BBC adopts the language and style of the Guardian newspaper – who’d a thunk it!

Sly Stone’s greatest songs – ranked! (Guardian); Pulp’s 20 greatest songs – ranked! (Guardian); The National’s 20 best songs – ranked! (Guardian); Tina Turner’s 20 greatest songs – ranked! (Guardian)

You get the idea. And of course the politics flows downstream of the entertainment – or is that vice versa?

Apropos Eurovision: By Mark Savage, BBC Music Correspondent: All 37 songs have now been submitted, with lyrics addressing everything from demonic possession to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. (BBC)

    Oh, the politics…

Apropos what is probably the musical near antithesis of all that Euro-tat, the American downbeat earnest left-leaning cerebral U2 or Radiohead equivalents – ie The National – the poncy rather than prancing: The National: Fake Empire (2007) Their breakthrough song, thanks in part to Barack Obama using it on a campaign video. But despite its affiliation with a presidential run built on hope, Fake Empire was about disillusionment and wanting to leave the US, rendered in a futile escapist fairytale. Based around magnetic polyrhythms and with a frenetic, pointillist horn section inspired by Steve Reich, it also represents the growing influence of Bryce, who was building a reputation as a composer in his own right. (Guardian)

And for balance Mr AsI brings you the counterpoint, so to speak: Why I Hate The National by Carl Wilson, Slate… It dates to the first time I heard “Fake Empire,” the breakout single… If someone doesn’t stop me I’ll go on to call them portentous, monotonous, self-conscious, and deficient in character and eccentricity… The National makes me feel that rock music, like much of American literature and visual art before it, has died and gone to graduate school. The band delivers certifiable Quality-with-a-capital-Q, a perfect product of the English and music departments

Delving back down-market to the lobotomised rather than cerebral Eurotrash (as Antoine de Caunes might have put it): What follows is a highly subjective attempt to rank them all. You’ll undoubtedly disagree, and I’ve inevitably snubbed someone’s favourite. But that’s the beauty of Eurovision: Everyone gets a say, and my opinion is no more important than anyone else’s. (Also, I have a terrible track record in predicting the winner, so there’s that.) (BBC) – our Mark Savage abdicating all responsibity there – so as not to offend?

Let’s have some fun with this… but first… where’s the press review this morning, you ask?

OK, let’s get this out of the way. Frontpage feature from the formerly serious now liberal and female only interest Times: Women down tools! We’re going on strike – accompanied by a pic of a woman brandishing aloft the following demo placard motto: “Girls just wanna have Fun-damental human rights” – I kid you not.

Inside Times 2: Country love… My rural dating diary

Top headline in the liberal and socialism-curious Times: Tory MP in cash-for-access scandal

Remember, dear readers, Mr AsI’s daily press review’s main raison d’être is to perish the myth of the so-called Tory (read conservative) press – which in candid moments BBC journos tend to use to justify their left-leaning slant.

    You want more news review?

The Guardian goes with a frontpage full-frontal attack on the monarchy: Revealed [not Ranked?] Royals took £1.2bn in private income from estates – putting the Sturgeons’ £600k in perspective – but perhaps that’s the point?

Police face questions over possible delay to arrest at Sturgeon’s home (Telegraph)

The Mirror wants more pointless law: Murdered Sabina’s sister backs bid to force killers to sentencing

The FT wants more pointless war: Ukraine ‘ready’ for Crimea talks with Kremlin if counteroffensive succeeds… Peace talks so far ruled out

In the words of Mark Savage, BBC music: With that in mind, let’s have some fun… You can listen along with an alphabetically-sorted playlist on Spotify, on Apple Music or on YouTube. – excuse me if I don’t. Should he be advertising like that?

Albania: In a quirk of typographical synchronicity, Albina is Albania’s representative for 2023… A former runner-up on The Voice, she’s performing Duje, a dramatic ballad about families being separated, and the impact that has on children. The performance typically ends with Albina collapsing to her knees in tears. – what’s up Albina, luv, daddy abandoned the family and buggered off to Britain in a rubber dinghy?

Meanwhile this sultry Armenian songstress goes route one in search of benefits in another sense: Armenia: Brunette – Future Lover: “I just wanna make art, read books and just find someone who likes me enough to kiss my face.” – is this a song or the wording borrowed from some dodgy internet catfish scam?

I’m done and out of here and I haven’t even finished the ‘A’s yet… Austria… Azerbaijan… did they squeeze Australia into Europe again this time around? Who cares?

‘Through no fault of their own’ Eddie said.

I beg to differ. It is entirely their fault as a people. They are part of the culture growing up to replace those corrupt, stone-age barbaric leaders throughout their society who make the place such a sh1thole.

The solution is not to just give money to the children : it’s a task that can never be finished. The solution is to rid the world of that kind of culture. But we are doing the exact opposite : we are protecting it. Even this video from Eddie is covering up why they do what they do. The BBC do it on a daily basis. It highlights what complete madness the Leftist hypocrisy to suit their agenda really is. As usual, they are causing the deaths of millions because of their own perceived ‘intellectual superiority’ combined with their inability to cope with the real world.

This is the problem when you are are driven by empathy instead of logic. You end up focussing on the first cute little girl you see. At the end of the day, all your efforts amount to absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things.

I feel very sorry for these poor people – but for every one you give a pound to, there are another hundred waiting behind them. And a hundred behind each of them. You can’t fix anything like that.

And I must say, Eddie/Suzy is starting to look alarmingly odd as he/she gets older. I can see a bit of Bett Lynch in there.

This is correct. Mobile phone network operators have your position to the nearest 100 meters or so if you have it switched on (using triangulation). I believe emergency services such as the AA already have access to this information so they can find you.

Governments believe they can use all of your personal data and sell it to any thieving crooked organisation – such as car park extortionists that operate at stations.

Next thing we know they will be ripping out our vital organs without permission – probably while we are still alive!

Re, the last paragraph Atlas… they have already got this rolling by casually murdering unborn children in droves if they are simply viewed as “not required”. I don’t think it will take long until families are allowed to request termination of any old relative or disabled family member etc. who become burdensome.

Hitler would have a chuckle at bet!
