Will BBC VERIFY check the number given out this week that 606000 foreigners were added to our huge population in 2022. Was it really 750 000? Or maybe the BBC will look the other way ….?

“Negroid” Up2snuffMAY 27, 2023 AT 9:56 AM mentioned that R4Today was clutching its pearls
Speaking in hushed terms that an internal Post Office form 15 years ago at the time of early investigations into Post Master money losses classified apparent thieves by racial group one category using a word so horrific they couldn’t mention it
Only to later say it s like the “N word” but not the actual N word
Then tonight I get around to reading the BBC article
First it has a trigger warning then deep down the page it names the category “negroid type”
which it claims is “an archaic and offensive term from the colonial era of the 1800s that refers to people of African descent.”
em that is FAKE NEWS
#1 It was used in the famous Gerald Durrell book “My family and Other Animals” .. in recent editions they edit the line out
#2 By setting the date search on Twitter I can see that prior to this week there were 200 tweets over the lat 10 years that used it
mostly in a non aggressive way
Indeed there are screenshots of books from the recent 20th Century that use it

#3 The BBC definition is certainly wrong
“Negroid type” is not synonymous with African
It doesn’t mean genetic or cultural link to Africans
The Andaman Islanders (coastal India)& Aboriginal Australians are negroid but not African.”
There are plenty of non-whites who deserve a lot of sympathy eg abused, sexually mutilated
but when it comes to other people who learn there was word on a form used I think it’s a very cause for grievance
My guess is that the person who compiled the form was not a native speaker, so their translation dictionary threw up outdated terms
so they simply used them, without malice.
the real malice is #1 from the PO team who knew the computers were at fault and that most/many people were innocent
#2 From actual thieves who did steal but have used the Post office scandal to get off.

UK will match record Ukraine support in 2023. Prime Minister announces the UK will meet or exceed the amount of military aid spent on Ukraine in 2022 next year. From: Prime Minister’s Office, 10 Downing Street and The Rt Hon Elizabeth Truss MP Published 20 September 2022 (Gov.UK) – that’s one bit of financial profligacy from the Liz Truss disasterous mini-budget era our Rishi won’t be correcting anytime soon
Pending tactical maneuvers in the Donbas, interestingly, the Labour party begin their inevitable Blairite attempt to outflank the Tories from the right on immigration: Labour vows to get tough on migrant job visas (Telegraph)
Sunak meanwhile meets the socialists half-way with some nostalgia-inducing ancient 1970s era prices and incomes fixing policy: Sunak asks stores to cap food prices (Telegraph) – come on supermarkets… return the favour, the government gave you a massive profits boost with lockdowns by crippling your small scale high street competition while your footfall flourished, despite masking.

The collateral damage of project fear and stay at home policy to general health, the demoralisation of the working population and the trashing of the economy? Certain ill-advised life-ending medical treatments applied early in the so-called pandemic? NHS doors closed and the vulerable shunted out to languish in care homes? You think this inquiry will go there? Think again. You’re probably one of those people who believe our Holly knew nothing.
The BBC has tweeted twice that Musk will pull out of EU rules
Interesting that sceptic accounts had reported that 24 hours earlier
The vast majority of replies are anti EU and pro Musk
From the article:
“Thierry Breton, who is the EU's internal market commissioner, announced the news on Twitter – but warned the firm new laws would force compliance. "Obligations remain. You can run but you can't hide," he said.”
For balance, will this sad little bit of autocuism be followed up with a list of Labour, SNP et.al. mis-spent expenses?
Surely one for Vilify to ‘investigate’, as they must be impartial at all times…
Fat chance!
(Sorry Fed, I didn’t see your piece above, but here’s the link to anyone bored enough to yawn at the petty stuff churned out by the kidults these days)!
‘Overall, Russia launched a record 54 so-called kamikaze drones on Ukrainian targets, 52 of which were shot down, Ukraine’s Air Force reported.
In Kyiv alone, more than 40 drones were downed, officials said.
This information has not been independently verified.’
Sounds like the new 60-man BBC ‘Verify team’ could start checking some of these claims out BBC because quite frankly they are so ridiculous that it rubbishes the entire report.
It seems that the recently-devised explanation for all the explosions and damage is that they are caused by ‘falling drone fragments.’
Also quite a few warehouses got blown up – but we don’t dwell on that because remember : only 2 got through. I wonder what was in them …
More interestingly I see the comedian Zelensky has been out of the country for a few weeks now – yet is still wearing his army T-shirt and not shaving to meet world leaders. Obviously he doesn’t need to make any decisions : his role is very definitely just a theatrical one. We won’t dwell on that either.
I can scarcely believe how bad the reporting for this war is by the MSM and especially the BBC. It’s like they think everybody are idiots and will believe absolutely anything without question.
What does interest me though is how they ALL instantly entered this bizarre cover-up with similar content and similar style. How did that happen ?. Did they all get together and decide it or were they all ‘informed’ on how to behave in some way ?.
More like a simple single person /story. Probably get all their published articles from the BBC, once approved by BBC Verify. Zelensky and the western heads of states including the EU and NATO. You can certainly figure out a person’s character by the company he keeps.
A bit in the DT where the Ukrainians are scraping around for injured soldiers to put back into the army ….. maybe a sign of running out of people …. Makes a change from the usual poor propaganda about the ever victorious Ukrainians …..
Are farmers happy that a euro drone like you is giving them a bad name on social media claiming to represent them? Farming is being destroyed in the EU on the altar of net zero & crony supermarket cartels that make it uneconomic to farm or harvest.
My local small Waitrose had very few veg on display yesterday, but also most of the other stuff was missing as well! I mean, what can one do with just six pizzas, I ask you!
The Tesco nearby didn’t seem to have that problem, and as they’re offering 25% off six bottles, the Pinot just bounced into the trolley…
Sorry your sife’s having a hard time though Digg, I normally do like Mr Wait and Mr Rose’s stuff, but I really did notice the empty shelves, and lots and lots of yellow stickers..:0(
The farmer alongside me has released his cattle into the adjoining field. He does this every year. This year I might claim that Nitrogen is affecting me…………..(NOT)
My local plod story and probably true as comes from a recently retired cop.
A member of staff (not sure if it was a civilian or a cop) has been allowed to work flexi hours because their dog doesn’t like being left alone. Wonder why they didn’t think of that before they purchased the mutt. Possibly not too bad, but another has been given compassionate leave because their mouse died. Really ? Poor old Mickey or Jerry. Perhaps another day off for the funeral. gently lowered into the ground in a little nest surrounded by a selection of favourite cheeses.
Meanwhile ‘Sorry Mr Concrete we can’t attend your burglary due to Fido’s stress levels’ or ‘the tragic passing of Mickey./Jerry’.
Just having a little GB News catch up before I head off for a hard afternoon of grafting (in my deckchair) at the allotment…
Michael Portillo is telling us about “a splendid new Great Expectations adaptation”. Oh Gawd, I thought, probably set in Bombay, or Brixton and lecturing us about the evils of colonialism and racism. Pip will be a mixed race Muslim orphan with a speech impediment. Actually, I was wrong…it’s worse than that.
Eddie Izzard, now known as Suzie Eddie Izzard is in one of these productions. Portillo tells us, “She has a one woman adaptation…” Cheers Mick. That’s all I needed to know.
I can just se it…Some grotesque Window Twankey freak in a frock playing Miss Havisham, then a quick change and emerging as Mr Jaggers, then popping back as Estella and being told by all and sundry how wonderful he is. Oops, sorry, how wonderful she is.
Jeff,
Your name is actually a part of Izzard’s repertoire.
To be fair, the joke about the computer password isn’t a bad one but other than that – laugh? I thought I’d never start.
If you get nightmares easily, don’t watch to the end, where he’s padded out like a woman.
UK MPs itching to try on their military uniforms ready to assist those democracy loving neo nazi Ukranian Azov regiments, oh, umm, err, perhaps not. Will the advertisers pull out of ‘this morning “?
It seems that on just about everything, the conservatives are making a right old dogs breakfast of them.
Almost every interview ends with something along the lines of “the Tories must sort this out or they will be voted out at the next election”
On the boats, nothing is happening except lots of shoulds and we musts but no action. Then we hear “if they don’t sort this out they are toast”
On the nhs, waiting lists/strikes/shortage of doctors etc. “if they don’t sort this out they will not get re-elected”
On crime and policing, “if they don’t sort out the police, prisons, lawyers and judges they will be booted out”
On legal immigration, “if they don’t get this right down they are out at the next GE”
On Brexit, “if they keep on blocking everything and stopping our decision to leave they are finished”
On net zero, “if they keep on with this crazy net zero business making everyone poorer they will not be voted back in at the next GE”
There are so many other things they are either doing wrong or not doing at all and they always go against what the population want no matter what. Cutting the number of HM Forces, HS2, all this trans etc rubbish, ulez etc, keeping vat when it could be cut, fishing and I could go on and on.
In fact, I can’t think of anything they are getting right.
The only reason they can give to vote for them is (correctly) that labour will be worse.
As well as that, the civil snowflakes are getting rid of the very few ‘real’ Tories still in the government.
What a mess.
Very easy to work out . Blue Labour believes in nothing . It thinks conservatives will vote for it because it is ‘blue ‘ when it is Red ….
All the social issues stem from uncontrolled population growth -add that to financial incompetence and we are – as they say – where we are .
The top of their party care less as they have their own Stash of £ …. .
Sunak must look in the mirror and wonder how the hell he got into number 10 ….
What difference will red labour bring –
Continued uncontrolled immigration
Even more censorship
Elections opened up to anyone leaning left
Much more taxation – stealthy and otherwise
Single market
Negotiate with EU to return ( we haven’t left )
Free up narcotics
Even less private transport
Much higher Council taxes
Increase overseas give aways
Preserve socialist agencies BBC – plod – criminal justice – housing – NHS
Blame blue labour
Second term – rejoin EU
Pay reparations to coloured folk
Pay reparations to EU
Unified Ireland ?
Independent Scotland ?
Blame blue labour

The BBC has tweeted twice that Musk will pull out of EU rules
Interesting that sceptic accounts had reported that 24 hours earlier
The vast majority of replies are anti EU and pro Musk

It is voluntary, unlike the BBC if you wish to watch Live tv.
Meanwhile, something for said propaganda corporation and its US TNI partners to chew on with regards to who is trusted, and who not.

Ukraine war: Kyiv hit by new massive Russian drone attack – mayor
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-65736730
‘Overall, Russia launched a record 54 so-called kamikaze drones on Ukrainian targets, 52 of which were shot down, Ukraine’s Air Force reported.

Like big business – you will find the source is a single person/story.

More like a simple single person /story. Probably get all their published articles from the BBC, once approved by BBC Verify. Zelensky and the western heads of states including the EU and NATO. You can certainly figure out a person’s character by the company he keeps.

Plans for supermarket price cap on basic food
***
Seems Dutch farmers might voluntarily cap everything as their government has closed them down.
But… Net Zero.

Ugh- no Waitrose – does that mean having to go with the plebs to the kraut shops or Tesco or sainsburys ….
As for cutting prices … maybe a bit of VAT cutting might be better than blaming supermarkets for idiot money printing….
Int rate at 5.5% by 2023..?

My wife works in our local Waitrose and I can 100% confirm that there are quite a few products including sausages etc. out of stock.
But this is entirely due to a massive IT breakdown in the Waitrose order processing system leaving all the stock undelivered to branches.
Absolutely sweet F all to do with Brexit or the EU… bloody moron!
Otto add that it would have hit all supermarkets and not just Waitrose if it had anything whatsoever to do with The EU.

There’s only so much of this guff I can stomach.
Off switch…

Jeff,
Your name is actually a part of Izzard’s repertoire.

Let’s send Zelensky and his cohorts some more tax payers dosh and of course more weapons instead. I feel for those poor ordinary Ukranians, many who are untrained, and have been sent to the front lines.

“Negroid types” On Saturday when R4Today was outraged that an internal Post Office reporting system had grouped criminals by skin colour type
and according to them one term is so racist they couldn’t even mention it
How come their empire of people never mentioned the skin group terms come from the STANDARD police code ident key ?
Here’s today’s
Here’s how it used to be written
A screenshot from the 2005 book
Racialized Boundaries: Race, Nation, Gender, Colour..
where it complains about UK institutions using an Ident Code Key IC1, IC3 etc.
It uses the exact terms the BBC report said the PO used
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FxNldG2XwAIP-7r?format=png&name=small
Why on Saturday did R4Today fail to mention the Post Office internal crime reports used that standard key?
