The BBC are very clearly not happy about this. I think a spiteful child wrote the article. It’s chock full of snippets presented completely out of context.
But what caught my eye was this about Katie Hopkins:
‘she claimed that a photograph of a drowned 3-year old Syrian refugee had been staged.’
Hypocrisy and double standards on an epic scale yet again by the BBC. Claiming a picture has been staged is terrible when Katie does it – but as we’ve seen this week, it’s perfectly fine to use them in headline news articles when Getty do it to push their far-Left agenda – including the latest ones from Gaza which are basically terrorist propaganda.
It makes me laugh when people like the BBC talk about hate on social media and all their examples are right-wing. In my experience, the group who are the most full of hate – by a country mile – are the far-Left. Maxi gives us an example from time to time when he’s had a bit too much of something and the BBC HYS are chock full of it when the lefty troll farm is engaged.
I’ve said it many times: nobody hates like the Left. But as usual it’s only wrong when the Right do it.
I logged on just to say exactly what JohnC has, so much more eloquently above…
There are times when I wonder if I’m being entirely fair to the BBC, some friends and family say I’ve “got a bee in my bonnet” about the organisation, and that it’s “not THAT biased really”. Then an article like this turns up, and I absolutely KNOW I’m right (and everyone here is right) and the BBC are as blatantly biased and hypocritical as hell.
In case you didn’t know (where have you been?!), the BBC hive mind REALLY, REALLY, REALLY doesn’t like Katie Hopkins and Tommy Robinson (whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon – don’t u know? – if my real name was Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, I’d be tempted to use a pseudonym too, to be honest.)
Why don’t the BBC like them? Because they have different views on a couple of things… so what?! Really, honestly, so what? Lots of my friends and family have very different views on all kinds of things, I don’t HATE them for it, we just agree to disagree and leave it at that.
As JohnC said, absolutely typical of a massive swathe of ‘lefties’ these days to get absolutely riled, and hopping, spitting mad, just because… someone doesn’t agree with them and share their point of view about something.
It’s a form of insanity, utterly mad behaviour, and quite scary how many share it.
The ‘flexibility’ of the woke is something to behold. The conflict in Gaza and UK demonstrations are purported to be in support of a cease fire but frequently include incitement to violence and highly racist language .
The woke apologists say that stopping or outlawing these demonstrations would be running contrary to the UK’s tradition of free speech. Yet these are the very same people who created hate speech laws and use this legislation to prevent native Brits from speaking their minds on the Islamification of our country.
Muslims can say all sorts of hateful things about Jews or Brits but no one can say anything which might possibly upset them. Why do the authorities protect Muslims but don’t protect Jews or Brits? The answer is that the authorities are petrified of Muslim violence . In 21 st century Britain the threat of mass violence is the way to get what you want . We all know how this is going to end !
It seems they have attacked the Rokeby Venus in imitation of the suffragette Mary Richardson, who damaged it with an axe in 1914.
They should do their research better, in later life Richardson was head of the women’s section of the British Union of Fascists (she also ran as a candidate for the Labour party). She also did the usual suffragette things like arson and bombing.
lol – Trump is treating the trial with contempt and making a farce of it with the kind of language he knows drives the Left crazy.
The Democrat Judge and the BBC are virtually foaming at the mouth about it. Quite satisfying to read …
Their latest anti-Trump piece in it is:
‘Former prosecutor says Trump attacks the judge to spin a looming trial loss’
Lets see who he is:
Renato Mariotti
‘Renato is a grassroots activist, commentator, and lawyer who wants to fight to make our party more “bottom up” and accountable to people who are doing the hard work of canvassing, organizing, and holding grassroots fundraisers.’
The party is of course The Democrats.
‘“When I’m Attorney General, I plan to do everything I can to stop Trump from taking away our rights and misusing his power,”’
100% Democrat activist. Odd how the BBC didn’t mention it …
“The Hamas terrorist billionaires who live in marble-floored mansions and luxury hotels as they decry Gaza poverty after profiting from misery and terror
Estimates suggest some of Hamas’s leaders have a net worth in the billions
Israel and other critics accuse the group of spending money on luxuries instead of helping the people of Gaza, many of whom live in poverty”

BBC News page: “Man guilty of mosque worshippers’ attempted murders”
Just another of those typical Sudanese-asylum-seeker-setting-fire-to-people-outside-mosques stories. All part and parcel of living in an Islamo-pyromaniac country. The Mirror reports what the BBC don’t in their several articles: that Abbkr asks one victim “whether he speaks Arabic. When he says he speaks Urdu and Punjabi, Mr Rayaz can then be seen being sprayed with a liquid from a bottle before being engulfed in a ball of flames.”
Judge says he wants to hear further psychiatric evidence before sentencing. But of course he does.
Not seeing many reports in the media of the attack on a US military base in Turkey where nuclear weapons are stored.
It was like watching a scene from the walking dead or World War Z seeing so many people all running around in one direction, it is scary
Now I have said before that I believe Israel has a right to exist, and a right to defend itself, but I do not believe it has a right to commit war crimes with impugnity, nor do I believe that killing 3000 children is OK because a dozen militants were killed.
Again this is the fault of Biden and Nettenyahu Biden for giving a black cheque with support and Nettenyahu not caring what atrocities he commits in the process.
This must be the fourth attempt to destroy Hamas using this tactic and like all the others, not only will it fail but it will recruit more to its cause and have the opposite result. Worse still it will make the future more dangerous for Israel as the US fails in every area of importance thanks to the huge failures of the Biden administration.
The world needs to be a safer place, but with Biden and Nettenyahu it is much more dangerous.
The use of human shields is forbidden by Protocol I of the Geneva Convention. It is also a specific intent war crime as codified in the Rome Statute which prohibits “utilizing the presence of a civilian or other protected person to render certain points, areas, or military forces immune from military operations.”
Ok. What should Netanyahu do response wise.
It’s not like Hamas is a regular army that wears smart easy to spot uniforms.
I think they’ve been very reasonable.
Why should any Israelis risk their lives going room to room.
Because there a lot of innocent people there and the world is watching. Knowing they are underground, flattening peoples homes is clearly punitive.
Plus they tried this approach three times in the past and it didn’t work. If he carries on like this there soon won’t be an Israel, because its enemies will be forced to act.

Vintage BBC 6pm news – the full Hamas Broadcasting Company telling us how many have been killed in Gaza – they’ve deployed the myrie ( no poppy for Clive innit ) and Fergal the undertaker Keen laying it on with the usual trowl .
Israel is to blame of course – The slaughter of 1400 is only referred to as ‘Hamas attacks ‘._ well that’s okay then .
The Hamas broadcasting company are now beyond neutral – bowen describes the Israel attacks as ‘ruthless’ …
It’s not news any more – it’s infantile empathy propaganda porn – 14 minutes of it ….
Otherwise it seems to be Trump Porn again – another political trial feeding the addiction ….
What’s clear is that the downgrade to call it just ‘Hamas attacks’ is a deliberate policy decision by senior BBC management and passed down to the kidults because they all sing from the same hymnsheet in their articles.
All except Bowen of course who thinks it’s all about him and what he thinks.
JohnC
The trouble is – I’m listening for it – I know the ‘play book ‘ but ordinary sane punters will take it in without question – but it really really is pushing …..
… I left out that that truly awful home affairs creature – mark Easton was visibly beside himself because the Met commissioner has asked Hamas not to March in londonistan on Remembrance Day 11 November – but won’t ban it because there is ‘no threat of serious disorder ‘…..Easton was so full of delight – because he knows that Hamas will still March whether it’s banned or not …..
How the Governments behavioural scientists and the BBC became the terrorists, who induce Fear and Mass Hysteria.
A government induced ‘Nocebo Effect’ meant that many hypnotised people were on ventilators for weeks, even though they did not have an infection. The ‘Nocebo Effect’ also caused “Long Covid”. Both these conditions involved long but stable and unchanging symptoms and conditions. Most Doctors were puzzled by this. So with a boom in suicides, especially amongst children, ‘Mass Murder’ by the governments behavioural scientists must also be taken into consideration.
As the awful BBC keeps spewing, if they don’t like any issue which isn’t veering to the lefties, the bile is made out to be from a ‘Far Right’ panel of normal British citizens.
Why have the thick kidults in W1AA never discovered that the vast majority of citizens in the UK are NORMAL!
Normal Citizens don’t muck about with idiotic pronouns, they don’t really like foreigners coming here, they certainly dislike paying for illegals to live on benefits in luxury, they usually pay their taxes, (except for the TV tax – when they’re enlightened that is), and they go about their business of working, mostly in the private sector, to create wealth for UK Inc!
I guess there may even be some Normal Citizens in the public sector, and that they become even more normal when they retire so early and get eye-watering pensions, but sadly, I don’t think I’ve ever met any. Perhaps they live on the Costa Brava.
The Beeboid Pension Fund will certainly be bailed out when Starmer sits on the No!0-No11 fence next year, probably sooner rather than later, so perhaps a Branson or a Musk could buy the whole sodding lot of the hated national broadcaster, and sort them out…
I’m vexed – the SNP Muslim leader has spoken of a March in what he should surely regard as a foreign country – England – he supports the March for Islamic Hamas/ Palestine and wants Israel to surrender by way of a ‘cease fire ‘ which we can be assured Islamic Hamas will ‘honour ‘…
Why the Scots can’t wake up and see where they are being led just amazes me, I always considered them as a canny nation. I think they have just got a bit carried away with the William Wallace bollox and can’t see how they are destroying their own Nation.
They fought like f**ck to prevent an English monarch over Scotland and they have ended up with a perfectly acceptable (to them) Asian one….
It stuns me that we have a totally incompetent racist muslim in charge of our country. My mother would have turned in her grave but she already had when Sturgeon came in to start wrecking things.
He should be happy now. His relatives are now in the UK compliments of the UK Government. Just in time to attend the marches in Londonistan coming weekend.

I remember the constant media attention given to the Vietnam war in the 60s and the huge anti war demonstrations taking place in the US. The chant then was “hey, hey USA, we’re not going to die for LBJ”. I believe the demos taking place in the US have a new chant now – “hey ho, hey ho, genocide Joe has got to go”. Think the Biden administration are now getting twitchy regards support for the Democrats. But anyway just a reminder of those heady days of the 60s:
The double standards of lefties is staggering, they are getting all het up about the government trying to stop indigenous white British people from sleeping rough in tents in freezing conditions in town centres and at the same time roaring on about how hard done to are illegal people coming to this Country with no paperwork having to live and sleep in a warm holiday ship with free food, showers and free cash.

This last year was neither dry, nor warm – ok, there were a few very warm, dry weeks (Sept mostly), but most of the year was cold, and wet.
However, I have noticed several BBC articles stating it was ‘one of the hottest and driest years on record’ etc… Clearly, the BBC aren’t too worried about facts when they contradict their narratives.

Andrew Neil has a conspiracy theory about Putin stoking Islamic violence in Sweden
Sweden faces most serious challenges to its security since the Second World War. Once a symbol of peace, neutrality and social cohesion, it is now threatened on three fronts: Russia, Islamist terrorism + wave of shootings and bombings as armed cartels battle for supremacy over…
Ah Sweden, the home of ABBA and such memorable songs like Fernando:
‘Björn Ulvaeus, presents a vision of nostalgia for two veterans reminiscing in old age about a long-ago battle in which they participated. “I wrote all the songs as little stories. ‘Fernando’ was about two old freedom-fighters from the Mexican Revolution.’
Come on everyone let’s sing along to the lyrics such as:

Judge Engoron seems to think he IS the law. And is arrogant enough to not even bother trying to hide his contempt for Trump.
The most bothersome thing about all of this is that it is very obviously politicial persecution more at home in some African banana republic – but the MSM are now so corrupt, they won’t even suggest it. Stopping this kind of abuse of power is precisely what they are supposed to expose and stop. They have totally failed in their ethical duty.

Ahh – that sounds like a good news story for someone. I wonder what the rest of the article says:
‘Mohammed Farooq, 28, who is accused of planning a terror attack at St James’s Hospital, was “agitated” when Nathan Newby said he tried to “cheer him up”.’
‘He said: “He just looked upset, as though he’d had some really bad news.’
‘Farooq told Mr Newby he wanted revenge on the hospital and planned on setting off a pressure cooker bomb.’
He was going to set it off in the canteen. Entirely innocent people. Not quite the story the headline promised.
The article ends with the words:
‘but was not motivated by Islamist extremism and not radicalised.’.
The usual extreme weasel words : they mean ‘not a member of ISIS’. But still an Islamic terrorist. Yet the BBC do not use the word terrorist through the whole article.
That’s OK then. Oh but what about this line on it’s own and not elaborated on at all:
Farooq, of Roundhay, is also accused of planning a terror attack at the US base at RAF Menwith Hill, near Harrogate.
Which paints a completely different picture to the one the BBC report suggests.
More desperate writing by the BBC intended to tone down what a horrific event this very nearly was.
When I read these, I always think about the lengthy, no-holds-barred things they write about the young white far-right males who get arrested for downloading and sharing something. The BBC have no problem using the word ‘terrorist’ for them. And they never left their bedroom, never mind built a bomb and took it to a hospital.
Lets see who did it. Remember our secret services now have to monitor tens of thousands of people just like him in case they try something similar:
I wonder how long it will be before one of the millions of Hamas terrorist supporters do something here.
Sometimes when the bias shows through, you just have to smile…
In all seriousness some journo at the FT, when asked to write something for their frontpage news Briefing column about the upcoming King’s Speech, went about it somewhat cack-handedly: King Charles will today present a raft of highly political legislation…
Firstly, on a style note, people who talk of a raft of something are already prime candidates for putting one’s back up.
Know them by their language. One recalls that former stand-up comic of the alternative set, Alexei Sayle, a chap himself steeped in 1980s right-on leftist culture, nevertheless in his comedy routine enjoyed mocking the tendency of bourgeois leftists to ape the language of industry. Hence the Islington north London local lesbian collective would gather for a ‘workshop‘. Teachers’ unions insistently imagining themselves some form of soul sisters to Scargill’s coal miners would describe their labour minding a couple of dozen kiddies for the day as their standing at the ‘chalkface‘
Employment of the term raft when the word set would serve and suffice to describe the contents of the King’s Speech, I’m afraid betrays your naff mid-wit managerial tendency and mindset. Unless that is you’re saying raft only to then quickly go on to mock Rishi Sunak’s abject failure to block the Channel dinghies. Employed in satire, that’s fair game.
And the transparant lame bias of the FT doesn’t end there: King Charles will today present a raft of highly political legislation… – in the home of Parliament, before our elected representatives, the FT implies it’s going to be all a bit too… ‘political‘?
I get it. I know the FT represents a globalist managerial corporate voice that would rather petty local politics went away leaving nothing but a one-size-fits-all open borders mass of cheap atomised interchangible individualist labouring multicultural prols.
Just look at their top two features they promote just beneath the masthead today: hopefully: Will Bidenomics win over American voters? plus, we gotta keep the light-footed and fancy-free capital sloshing around the world: The top US city for overseas investment
And we close with what must be the British government’s final and indeed ultimate insult to the proud men of the Empire Windrush generation… who travelled thousands of miles across the ocean just to come to London and toil on our undermanned transport system…
Sunak’s ticket to driverless buses by 2030… will be operating autonomously by the end of the decade under legislation being bought forward today (Times)
Basically the BBC has taken it upon itself to produce legal advice for the Muslim protesters so they know just how far they can go before they are actually breaking the law.
What on Earth has it got to do with the BBC ?. Why are they spending license-fee payers cach on things like this ?.
I’ve generally been quite lucky with deliveries although I vividly remember one last year where I got an email saying the driver tried to deliver but there was nobody in. I saw the driver pull up at the end of my drive, rummage around in the back of the van, then drive off. But yeah, my fault.
Placed an order with ebay a few weeks ago. Thought i’d have this delivered to a shop (saves me missing the courier at home, well that was the idea)
Envi delivery driver took a very shaky picture at the shop, as proof of delivery. I know the shop really well with other deliveries, the shop said why would the driver deliver to that part of the shop, and not hand over the parcel to the shopkeeper.
Many delivery examples with enri. Never try to contact enri, by phone. Its like winning the lottery if you get through to them
A tip – never buy an iPhone from Amazon unless it is being delivered to a third party ( shop / locker ) – I had a ‘sub contacted ‘ deliverer no speak engleesh to to steal it by pretending it wasn’t on the unmarked man …. ( there was another delivery nearby ) …. It was a few years ago -but will never forget it … Amazon could care less when I called them …on my new iPhone …
My Evri experience is some books ordered on eBay which were sent and the tracking showed they were delayed at their (Evri) warehouse for over a week. (Oops, your package has been delayed message)
Then, it changed to delivered on the tracking board. They said it was delivered a week before.
No ‘your package is out for delivery message’ or ‘how did we do’ message.
I have cameras monitoring and recording 24/7 and nobody was there at the time they say it was delivered. Proof that they are telling lies.
I’ve looked all over and even places like the garage roof on the off chance that it was a missed delivery even though I leave a message on the front door to leave the package in the (open) porch.
They think that changing the status to delivered means it’s been delivered.
I’m going to get on to eBay about this.
Meanwhile, everybody, avoid Evri, they are rubbish.
Evri left my parcel outside a house down the road – not even next door. They recorded it as delivered at 8:30pm. We were in then but there had been no knock or ring at the door.
My neighbour found it the following day in her front garden. I wouldn’t have known about it if she hadn’t been kind enough to bring it to me. It had been outside all night in the rain. A box of 24 lightbulbs. As everyone knows, electrical items and water don’t go very well together.
“……avoid Evri, they are rubbish.” That’s surely the plan? Marry up rubbish with existing rubbish and get, get, Rubbish all-squared. Just to join everything else breaking down in this country.

What does ‘from the river to the sea’ mean to you?
Certainly a ditty that lends itself to alliteration.
Slight idea what it means in languages of little use to activists and western broadcasters, which is why that is likely avoided.

‘Control your client’ – Judge warns Trump lawyers
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/world-us-canada-67314495
lol – Trump is treating the trial with contempt and making a farce of it with the kind of language he knows drives the Left crazy.

Why have dubious ‘community leaders’ been given so much power and influence? Anti-Israel activists and even outright Hamas apologists have been used as advisers by the UK authorities. State multiculturalism has been a disaster, says Rakib Ehsan
The whole notion was conjured up from an alien culture and given spurious heft by cubicle garden ‘journalists’ too lazy to find anything out on the ground so happy to get the narrative from their mates via email.

Anyone else wondering if the timing of the reinstatement of TR and KH on Twitter is coincidental? Crank up the tension on social media and have more anti-hate policies waiting in the wings? I may be wrong, but I’d like to know what Sunak and Musk chatted about last week outside of AI.
Anyway Marianna Spring tweets that she’s using Twitter a lot less these days because it triggers the trolls. From the replies:

“I’m using X a lot less… because of trolls it triggers”
That is disingenuous, pejorative, and bad faith, Mariana.
You got many reasonable and informed critical responses from licence fee payers, academics and media experts.
But you never engaged. Instead you call us ‘trolls’.

War crimes
The use of human shields is forbidden by Protocol I of the Geneva Convention. It is also a specific intent war crime as codified in the Rome Statute which prohibits “utilizing the presence of a civilian or other protected person to render certain points, areas, or military forces immune from military operations.”

The most bothersome thing about all of this is that it is very obviously politicial persecution more at home in some African banana republic – but the MSM are now so corrupt, they won’t even suggest it. Leeds hospital bomb trial: Patient says he ‘tried to cheer up’ accused
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-67333863

I’ve always had a good service from DPD
