” BIG BROTHER” I have brought you the list of white men
who could be eligible to be in the final list of Six for
Sports Personality of the year. I do think it’s a good idea
that the head of diversity at the BBC should, like the CEO
of Aviva to insist that any white male has to get past
her if he is to be advanced in the Aviva hierarchy. ” Smith
is there any white male who could be a danger to
a women footballer winning?” Well Big Brother we have
pencilled in Mary Earps to win this years as we did the
lady from the year before and the year before as well. ”
“The only real danger to her could be the World Athletics
1500 metre male champion JOSH KERR. ”
Big Brother past 1500 champions have been Sebastian Coe,
Steve Ovett and Steve Cram . And if they didn’t always win
Sports personality , they were always in the top three.”” Is
he white?” Yes Big Brother” ” Leave him out the final
    selection!!”

By coincidence Twitter showed me that the same agency is promoting a black Channel4 journalist
If a journalist has an agent , that means that they make extra money outside of their normal employer

I’ve never heard of her , so I checked for stories
“Channel 4 News’ correspondent Ayshah Tull has revealed her *joy *after her brother, who has learning difficulties and a phobia of needles, has finally been vaccinated.

The broadcaster said her family had been struggling for almost a year to get her brother, Rob, to have the jab, despite being eligible because he’s ‘extremely clinically vulnerable’.

Sharing a photo of herself, with her mother and brother, she expressed joy that her sibling had finally been vaccinated with one Covid jab.

A happy day for the BBC – president trump banned in Colorado from standing again – Peter bone MP – a rare Tory – deselected and subject to a bi election – seems there’ll need to be a 19% swing – which in the current environment is more than doable for red labour …. But who cares ? They really are all dross ….

As for stopping president trump from standing for office – the US might as well be Russia now – it looks like Obama will use every legal and extra legal deceit to stop any kind of choice for voters on top of fixed voting methods ….

BTW – the medical mafia is going for a Christmas holiday – sorry – strike – again – so they’ll be getting a whole 7 days of hols on top of new year ….

Don’t forget the clap ….the caring profession indeed …. £

        From ‘The Sydney Morning Herald’…

“Colorado voted Democratic in the past four presidential elections,” he says. “It’s expected that Trump will lose in Colorado whether he’s on the ballot or not. So if Colorado’s the only state where this applies, it would not change the outcome of the election.”

The Colorado decision may even embolden his supporters, says Wolpe. “There’s a counter-reaction in favour of Trump which is explosive, which is already under way,” he says. To his followers, he says, “this is the ultimate conspiracy by the deep state to keep him out of the presidency, another example of the weaponisation of the political process and the courts and the Justice Department to stop Trump.”

Perversely, he says, “The reaction to this ruling by the Colorado Supreme Court to keep him off the ballot may, in fact, help cement his victory in November 2024.”

        The whole article is here…

An easy win – I turned on r4 and Frank Lunz was finishing an interview about the likelihood of president trump winning . He said 25% of coloured folk will vote trump – against an expected 10% – if there was an election tomorrow – trump would win

To which comrade Robinson said ‘that will cheer up the nation ‘ …in his best sarcastic way – the bbc used to pretend to be ‘neutral ‘ – now they don’t even try . I’ve said it here before about Robinson – he is one of the msin reaons people are dumping the ‘flagship ‘ – let’s bring in younger presenters – a few more Muslims to kill it off …

Trick – being a bit of an anorak – watching the run up to the last US election – huge crowds for Trump – popular MAGA – manifesto commitments being met ( eg the wall ) – and Biden in the bunker —- the msm silence about him – I thought an honest election wouid deliver for trump .
But both he and me didn’t realise how much effort the democrats / feds had put in to fixing the counts , covering it up and fixing the judicial system .

I think it will be fixed again – maybe this time they really will ‘off’ President Trump – really kill him – they can never permit him to return to power and destroy all those democrat woke corrupted departments ….

I don’t blame the Democrats, the problem is the media who are supposed to be they key check-and-balance part of democracy.

The Democrats now do things because they know the mainstream media will cover the details up and they will get away with it – just like this Coloado ruling. They have been getting bolder and bolder as they got way with one thing after another.

Bidens clear dementia being one of the biggest along with this very clear political persecution of Trump.

This is what I despise most about the Left (and particularly the BBC who have an actual mandate NOT to do it because the public are forced to fund them) – their shameless hypocrisy and double standards.

I would not be surprised at all if they assasinate Trump either. They would blame some stooge then the BBC would called anyone who questioned it a far-right conspiracy theorist. The story would very quickly disappear.

An election can’t fix this rot. It needs some kind of revolution.

We should have an award for the biggest lies by omission from the BBC in 2023.

The total omission of what the terrorist group Hamas do which leads Israel to attack areas where there are civilians is top of my list.

Followed closely by the total omission of any hint that all of the dozens of persecutions against Trump are political attempts to stop him running for office.

The only thing we ever get are ‘quote’ from people the BBC try to frame as being biased.

They have utterly failed any journalistic ethics to report the truth they might be pretending they have.

BBC bored with Gaza now – their new favourite is killing people because one of their own has raised the subject

It’s inevitable that the NHS gets to formally killing people as opposed to the casual Liverpool pathway – withdrawal of fluids – overdoses which nurses and doctors do every day – when they are not striking for more money – that is ..

So let’s get killing – bbc will be pleased if there are less old people – then move on to those not ‘socially beneficial’ – get a DIY kit from Amazon – and off we pop ….

Makes a difference from the bbc love of sexual perversion …

Because Gaza is still rampant on Twitter, and that didn’t matter because most folk outside media bubbles don’t get exposed to the utter insanity spouted about it there.

The problem is the msm lives on Twitter too, and hence brings the insanity outside.

If the BBC decides not to obsess about a cluster FUBAR the other end of the Med that stirs up the cubicles on the ground floor and half of the Labour Party, then good.

When a fly falls into a cup of coffee:

The Italian: Throws the cup, breaks it, and walks away in a fit of rage.

The German: Carefully washes the cup, sterilizes it, and makes a new cup of coffee.

The Frenchman: Takes out the fly, and drinks the coffee.

The Chinese: Eats the fly and throws away the coffee.

The Russian: Drinks the coffee with the fly, since it was extra with no charge.

The Israeli: Sells the coffee to the Frenchman, sells the fly to the Chinese, sells the cup to the Italian, drinks a cup of tea, and uses the extra money to invent a device that prevents flies from falling into coffee.

The Palestinian: Blames the Israeli for the fly falling into his coffee, protests the act of aggression to the UN, takes a loan from the European Union to buy a new cup of coffee, uses the money to purchase explosives, and then blows up the coffee house where the Italian, the Frenchman, the Chinese, the German, and the Russian are all trying to explain to the Israeli that he should give away his cup of coffee to the Palestinian so there will be peace

    The new Madeline Halpert article
Colorado Supreme Court kicks Trump off ballot, citing ‘insurrection’
    seems to have lines missing

Colorado’s Supreme Court has ruled that Donald Trump cannot run for president next year in the state, citing a constitutional insurrection clause.

The court ruled 4-3 that Mr Trump was not an eligible candidate because he had engaged in an insurrection over the US Capitol riot nearly three years ago.

It does not stop Mr Trump running in the other states and his campaign says it will appeal to the US Supreme Court.

The decision, *they* said, was “completely flawed”

    Who is this they ?
cos it can’t be the court .. I presume they had a line saying “Trump’s team criticised …” but somehow lost that line

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-67768873

AFAIK Trump has never been found guilty or organising any “insurrection” (a word now meaning organising guided tours around the Capitol) … so I can’t see this decision standing up

The British public accepted the novel Chinese communist party-style notion of Lockdowns lying down – with just the odd media-amplified regime-crafted nudge required here and there – and they well knew our susceptibilities: Boris Johnson called remote workers ‘bludgers and skivers’ (‘i’) – because at the time it all seemed like a consequence-free all-expenses-paid bonus sicknote from the boss.

And – despite – inflation, high taxes, workforce demoralisation, nothing works in Britain anymore and hyper-immigration to boot – we’re still lovin’ it: Back home for the holidays? Plenty of staff already are… holidays earlier than ever… taking advantage of hybrid employment arrangements and hunkering down at home (Times)

Speaking of stuff done to save the NHS…

Let’s see how we react to the normalisation of something akin to the mid-century German national socialist workers party notion of euthenasia?

We certainly don’t like the sound of it when it’s spelt out to us too specifically: A nurse and a healthcare worker have been jailed after patients were sedated for an “easy shift” and “amusement” (Sky News)

But give it a celebrity nudge or two and as an explicit policy proposal it might soon be good to go: Why I back Esther Rantzen’s call for a debate on assisted dying – by Sarah Vine (Daily Mail); Esther Rantzen’s daughter: My mum should not have to die alone at Dignitas… Family’s call for free vote on assisted dying (Daily Mirror)

Afterall: Elderly ‘will bear brunt of strikes’ at Christmas… Age UK raises fears as A&E shuts amid walkout (Times)

Mr AsI still cherishes the vox-pop microphone elicited sound-bite comment by some street passer-by to some local tv news occurance of yore – one forgets, but it was akin to an accident involving something like a firework sales outlet neighbouring a blowtorch workshop… “That was the inevitable thing… that just might happen” – was the wonderfully put nugget of naive yet wise commentary.

Speaking of inevitable things… that just might happen…

Sports Personality of the Year 2023: Mary Earps wins award… Earps, 30, was the Lionesses’ standout player (BBC)

Of course she’s all over the newspaper frontpages – and someone has to say it… she was dressed – or undressed… like a cheap hooker… a poundshop prostitute

Perhaps those Panini womens super league football stickers might be good sellers afterall – depending on the kit being worn – or not?

Earps wears a winning smile – and a skimpy kit (Telegraph)

    Back of the net… stockings

The Times pins up her pin-up but pretends not to notice her outfit – or lack thereof: The England Women goalkeeper Mary Earps was crowned as BBC Sports Personality of the year last night – do any actual sports fans still endure that tedious tv woke-a-thon?

They used to call dodgy goalies Cinderella – because they were always late for the ball

This poor lass had no ballgown to wear – so the skivvy turned up in her skivvies. The Telegraph explains: Just when you thought Mary Earps’ contribution to fashion in 2023 couldn’t be surpassed… wearing a lingerie-inspired ‘revenge’ dress

Mary wins SPOTY… as Sir Kenny honoured (Mirror) – thank goodness Sir Kenny Dalglish, 72, didn’t show up on stage wearing his ‘revenge’ jockstrap – and no trousers.

But as pop singer Joe Jackson reminded us back in 1979: It’s different for girls

Well, the football is poor so they have to gen up our interest somehow

Now Mr AsI feels like the little boy in the crowd who pointed out how the king had no clothes.

Happily I’m not completely alone in pointing to the nonesense. One has compatriots hereabouts, dear readers. And there’s still the odd sensible columnist in the press

2023: The year of shamelessness… From Meghan Markle to Michelle Mone, Allison Pearson hands out her awards (Telegraph)

That’s more than enough excitement for one morning. We end with the world-weary cartoonist Matt who is in superb form once again today. He draws some chap seated at an office desk (obviously not a civil servant – they’ve surely all buggered of out of Whitehall by now). He comments to his secretary: “I’m writing a Christmas card to the PM. Does it sound sarcastic if I say Happy New Year?”

The Colorado Supreme Court rules Trump is an insurrectionist and thus cannot stand for President….the BBC reports this and then adds that an appeal will go to the federal Supreme Court…but 3 of the judges were appointed by Trump.

So the BBC’s immediate reaction is to try and say the Supreme Court will make its judgement on political grounds….and thus isn’t legitimate. Odd that they don’t make the same qualification about the Colorado Supreme Court which is in a Democrat state…what are their political leanings? BBC not interested…..and not interested in what looks like yet another attempted ‘coup’ by the Democrats to try and rig an election again.

Odd how the BBC is only interested in ‘democracy’ and politicisation when it suits. The laughably named Democrats have spent the last 8 years or so using every dirty trick in the book to corrupt the electoral process and steal the elections…and attempting to turn America into a one party state…a dictatorship….and the BBC was and is fully onboard with their playbook.

Who is the biggest threat to democracy in America…Russia, China or the BBC and fellow travellers?

I did note that the BBC website didn’t seem to report Sunak’s speech in Italy in which he laid out the threat that mass, illegal immigration posed to Europe. Apparently his presence at the event was reported on the TV news….but it labelled the event a ‘far-right rally’…thus smearing not only Meloni but Sunak as well….I wonder if they also reported what he actually said or tried to hide the reality?

Tory MPs are up in arms…they note that the BBC will not label people who rape, murder and torture to death as terrorists but will always label anyone who opposes immigration as ‘far-right’.

    Highly selective editorialising.

Shame that as always the Tory MPs won’t get any further than making some noise about this and then it will all be forgotten.

The DG should be dragged up before them and made to answer for this…and so much more. There needs to be some serious sabre rattling and threats….up their game or face being broken up and reduced to just a news channel. When senior BBC journalists tell dangerous lies about the conflict in Gaza and then when caught out just shrug and say they don’t care and have no regrets you have to think something is going wrong with oversight and control…such a person is clearly unfit to be reporting on major stories and should be removed and sent off to report on man bites dog stories….and if not then we should look further up the chain of command and make changes there.

I am not a particular fan of Cliff but I struggle to understand why so many vile creatures spat out their hate at the program for inviting him on.

My guess is it’s the same shitty crowd in the BBC who jumped for joy when the BBC joined forces with the Yorkshire plod to try to stitch him up for his Christian views and got their arse smacked in court.

In other words an outright attack on Christianity.

The only conclusion I can come to us that their is a wedge of society growing up with a radical hate for anything Christian or wholesome as it threatens their own dodgy lifestyles. No doubt if Cliff had had a string of boyfriends and drug convictions they would welcome him onto the show with open arms.

I am so glad I no longer watch the BBC. In years past this site would have had endless discussion on Sports Personality of the Year. It now past with scarcely a comment (unless it was on the previous thread). Discussion now on both the Daily Mail and GB News because a woman I had never heard of, who was in a losing team won the award. About a dozen years ago the BBC Trust was asking in viewer panels about women’s football. They also made it very clear the response they wanted was for people to be asking for more women’s football on the tv. That manipulation continues. If all was fair, why wouldn’t the BBC announce the number of votes?

Meanwhile, why did the lady in question choose to wear something that showed her knickers? Not very elegant.

There is no Horse Racing on BBC so did the great Frankie Dettori stand a chance?
Given the ( lack of ) sport on the BBC and thus its tactic of endlessly plugging minority interest sport, I have visions of them covering the European tiddlywinks championships and then announcing the SPOTY winner as 72 year old overweight Bert Parkinson who trains for hours at a time at the Red Lion.

As regards this year’s winner, I’ll merely repeat some attendance figures from last weekend.

Average temperature in Scotland, in February, “16.9C – 19.4C”. What a load of absolute rubbish, obviously wrong. We can safely assume that the climate change fanatic who wrote the piece was so keen to promote the ‘science’ that they didn’t bother to examine the evidence. Really, really poor.

      • BigBrotherCorporation says:

16.9C-19.4C seemed oddly precise to me for random figures plucked out of the air, then it struck me that 16.9oC was 62.5oF, and lo and behold a search in Google shows that 62.5oF has been widely quoted as some kind of previous ‘record’ average global temperature:

        https://spectrumnews1.com/oh/columbus/news/2023/07/27/july-has-been-so-blistering-hot–scientists-already-calculate-that-it-s-the-warmest-month-on-record

19.4oC is 67 oF, not sure of the significance of that particular figure, but it’s pretty clear our BBC ‘science’ reporter has simply converted numbers taken from some random American ‘report’ (hence measurements in Fahrenheit – no one else uses it).

I’m pretty sure the source must be reporting these figures as some kind of new ‘global average’ maximum, during February of some year, or other, and the stupid BBC ‘reporter’ has got confused and reported the ‘global mean temperature’ as the ‘mean temperature of Scotland’!

A quick Google search gives mean temperatures of around 0 to 6 oC in February across Scotland – which sounds rather more plausible.

Numerically incompetent, geographically illiterate, scientifically retarded, devoid of all commonsense… yep, must be working for the BBC.

It’s winter in February in Scotland, so expect cold weather, wind and rain. It gets particularly wet on the west coast. There is also a chance of snow at this time of year. On average, there are highs of 6°C (42°F) and lows of 0°C (32°F).

These weather conditions needn’t put you off though. One of the great things about a Scotland winter tour is warming up at a cosy guesthouse or pub at the end of a day exploring. There’s nothing like experiencing warm Scottish hospitality with some local food and a glass of whisky.

Tomo – I live in a small town on the South Coast. In the last 3 years at least 5 new Turkish barber shops have opened, sometimes within a hundred yards of each other in the same street.

In the neighbouring even smaller town there have appeared another 4 or 5 new Turkish barber shops in the same period.

Multiply this by probably every town in England and there must be literally thousands of new Turkish barbers shops springing up.

They have two things in common.

      1. The shops are fitted out to a very high standard which must come with a very high cost.

      2. None of them ever appear to ever have many clients.

So my question, where do they get the volumes of cash to set up the shops and how do they survive and thrive financially?

My guess is that they are in fact dealing with stuff and services other than haircuts.

It appears to be a huge international industry.

Funny you should mention the ‘Turkish Barbers’ popping up everywhere overnight. This last year, or so, we’ve had several appear in our small, country town, already amply provided with barbers and unisex salons – you can get anything from a 5 minute, (ex-military barber) buzzcut, to a £100s styling from a camp guy who markets his own range of ‘grooming products’. What do all these Turkish Barbers offer, that those already here don’t? What niche in the male hair styling market do they fill?

The other mystery is who uses them, I’ve never seen anyone in any of them, and my son says the local lads are as mystified as anyone. As my wife pointed out, there are now at least twice as many male hairdressers in the High Street as there are women’s… a lot of people are finding all this a little ‘odd’.

The BBC feature, a celebration of the British industrial ‘dynamism’ explained that the steel works, long gone/closed down, and its buildings are now housing ‘modern’ commercial innovation: Business start-up’s. ‘We meet the first business to set up in the old offices of the steel works’………..

(I can’t remember which it was)……….A Tattoo Parlour / Womens hairdressers. I kid you not. BBC would celebrate this as a feature of the almost total decline/decimation of real British industry.

It was obvious to me from the very start that the Russian objective would be to take everywhere East of the Dnipro river as a buffer against the rest of Ukraine joining NATO. I think the early phase was a gamble that the government would collapse under a Blitzkreig and end the war quickly.

I read lots more direct quotations of Hamas information on the BBC ‘live update’ page just looking to see if the BBC tell us ANYWHERE that Hamas are terrorists.

    Then I came to this:
What we know about the reporting of deaths in Gaza
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/world-middle-east-67768062

Ahh I thought. They will explain how the people they quote are the same terrorists who carried out the atrocities. They should be telling me that we should take anything they say with a very, very large pinch of salt.

How stupid of me. We nearly started well:
‘Israel and the US have previously cast doubt on the numbers Hamas’s ministry publishes.’
But suddenly the whole piece fell off a cliff with:
‘But international organisations, including the UN’s World Heath Organization (WHO), have said they have no reason to disbelieve them.’

What other ‘international organisations’ claim they are true then BBC ?. Why not mention them specifically instead of your usual vague incinuations ?.

And what about the fact are murdering terrorists who will stoop to absolutely any level if it suits them as a reason not to trust them ?.

    But it gets better:
‘The numbers killed in Gaza could also be higher, given the difficulty of accurately collecting data in a war zone.’

So the BBC say it could be even more than what the scum terrorists tell us in their propaganda !!!.

Unfortunately there is no name to this piece – but it is a Bowen-level pro-terrorist effort.

No surprise the UN is right in there defending Hamas either. This conflict has shown just how deep the leftist rot has become – both at the UN and in the BBC.

And of course, we are not told Hamas are actually terrorists at all by the BBC. The word doesn’t appear even once on the whole page. They did it a few times after they got slammed for hiding it. Then it got less and less and now it’s gone.
